The intro ends with Ash throwing a Poké Ball before a title that says "Loudémon" appears on screen.

The scene opens up with a view of the trees towards the sky

Narrator: "After forfeiting to Sabrina's Psychic Loudémon in Saffron City, our friends learned from a mysterious bearded man, how they might defeat her! Now they're on their way to try and capture one of the ghost Loudémon that haunts the dreaded Loudémon Tower, in Lavender Town."

Soon, fog began to appear

Ash: "The fogs coming in….. and that's not good. We'd better be super careful. We've got to make sure we don't get separated."

Misty: "Maybe this is an omen. Maybe we should forget about catching a Ghost Loudémon."

Brock: "We've come too far. Everybody, let's hold hands and stay together."

Misty: "Okay."

Ash: "Right."

The fog began to get thicker and Brock was now searching for Ash.

Brock: "Hey Ash, where are you?"

Ash: "Up here."

Brock: "What do you mean, here?"

Ash: "Right here!"

Brock: "Ah, there."

He reaches for Ash but accidentally grabs Lincoln. He was startled so much that he ended up electrocuting Brock and collapsed to the ground.

Misty: "Brock! Oh, don't you know how scared it makes me when you yell like that?"

Ash: "Well, Misty, you sure scared me! (Laughs)"

Misty: (alarmed) "Say what?"

Ash: "I'm feeling like a ghost myself!"

He turned around and was shown to be wearing a skull mask which made the others panic.

Ash: (laughs "Sorry, guys. I was just testing you. If were gonna try and catch a Mortician Loudémon we got to learn to deal with fear. That's the only way we're gonna become great Loudémon trainers."

Misty: (furiously) "YOU MUST BE CRAZY!"

Brock: (furiously)"DON'T EVER DO THAT!"

Lincoln: (furiously) "NOW YOUR GONNA GET IT FROM ME!"

A very furious Lincoln electrocutes Ash making him collapse to the ground.

Misty: "We've got enough things to scare us without your boneheaded jokes!"

Lincoln: "Yeah, so knock it off already!"

Ash: "I'll just save the mask till next year's Halloween!"

The scene then shows a full view of a town surrounded by fog and a tower in the distance. Ash and his friends stopped and see Lavender Town in front of them

Ash: "There's Lavender Town! I'm glad we got here, before it got dark."

The scene then cuts to a close up of the tower and the camera pans down to show Ash and the others right in front of it.

Misty: "Looks like it's always dark around this place."

Brock: "This is the Loudémon Tower, where Mortician Loudémon hang out."

Ash: "I like what they've done with the place."

Misty: "Okay Ash. It's time for you to show us what a great trainer you are."

Ash: "Huh?"

Brock: "We'll let you handle this one alone."

Ash: "Hey, wait a minute! You guys promised me you'd help me capture a Mortician Loudémon, when we got to Lavender Town."

Misty: "I don't remember promising that."

Ash turns around and notices Misty and Brock were now away from him.

Brock: "You know how to deal with fear, Ash!"

Ash: "Hah! Run away if you want to. I'm not scared, and I'm not gonna let some stupid Mortician Loudémon prevent me from becoming a great Loudémon Master! Right, Lincoln?"

It turns out, he got out a sleeping bag and was now wearing his pjamas.

Lincoln: "I'm not going any further. Go if you want but I'm gonna get sleep."

Ash: "Lincoln! Alright, good idea. Let's do this in the morning. (Takes out a sleeping bag and fell asleep too.) Make sure you don't wake me up too early okay? Night guys."

Misty and Brock just stood there looking at Ash sleeping.

Misty: "Time to wake up!"

She bangs loudly on a symbol startling Ash and Lincoln.

Ash: "Maybe, I'll be a little braver tomorrow morning!"

The scene then cuts to a window view of Ash and his friends and inside the tower was Team Rocket waiting to make their move.

Jessie: (laughs) "There they are. I'm so glad they could make it."

James: "I'm not psychic, but I see success in our future!"

Ronnie Anne: "This time, Lincoln's in the bag!"

Jessie: "Let's get started."

James gives a thumbs up to Jessie as he runs off only for the floor to break and fall below it.

Jessie: "James! Are you alright?"

Ronnie Anne: "The floor broke his fall."

Jessie: "These old places can be so dangerous!"

On another angle some doors open which Ronnie Anne notices. It was shown to be a wardrobe then a face appears.

Ronnie Anne: "Who's that there?"

The face emerges from the wardrobe and it was revealed to be Bertrand. He comes out of the closet as he yawns and stretches. Ronnie Anne began to freakout at her sight.

Jessie: "Ronnie Anne, where are your manners? It's impolite to leave your mouth hanging open like that."

Ronnie Anne: "Look behind you! Look behind you!"

Jessie: "What are you jabbering?"

Bertrand is seen standing behind Jessie.

Ronnie Anne: "Behind you! Look there! Right there!"

Jessie: "Behind me? (Bertrand vanishes.) There's no one here."

Ronnie Anne: "What? Huh?"

Jessie: "You must be seeing things."

Ronnie Anne: "Someone was there."

Bertrand reappears as he floats onto Jessie's head. His body disappears and only his head was seen as he turns towards Ronnie Anne imitating what Jessie was saying.

Jessie: "Don't tell me you're seeing things again?"

Ronnie Anne: "GET AWAY!"

She attempts to slap Bertrand away only for him to vanish and she ended up slapping and kicking Jessie making her scream in agony and became furious.

Ronnie Anne: (sheepishly) "It slipped."

Jessie: (enraged) "YOU MANGY LITTLE GIRL! YOU NUMBSKULL! YOU'VE RUINED MY BEAUTIFUL FACE!"

She whacks Ronnie Anne with a hammer as she went bouncing around from wall to wall before falling down the hole that James fell down earlier landing on top of him.

Ronnie Anne: (dizzy)"It was only a slap!"

Bertrand appears behind Jessie once again.

Jessie: "A tragedy. My face. Perfection has been ruined"

Once again, Bertrand appears without his body covering Jessie's head making her freakout and fall through the cracked floor landing on top of James and Ronnie Anne.

James: "You're right, this place is dangerous."

Jessie: "Thanks for breaking my fall."

The floor cracks up again and Team Rocket began falling to the bottom making their screams echo from the outside.

Misty: "Horrible! It sound really horrible in there."

Brock: "You're right, they must have some kind of torture chamber in there."

Ash: "Torture chamber?"

Team Rocket was now inside a darker room. Jessie slaps Ronnie Anne before sitting up.

Jessie: "Ah, this has got to be a nightmare."

James and Ronnie Anne sit up as well. Just then Bertrand appears in front of them

Bertrand: "Surprise!"

Team Rocket started screaming in fear and fainted to the ground. Meanwhile, Ash and his friends heard them scream again from outside.

Misty: "Oh, those screams again!

Brock: "But I heard a different voice that time!"

Ash: "Those voices are familiar. I feel like I've heard them all before."

Brock: "Why don't we go inside and find out who they are?"

Misty: "You go in first."

Misty & Brock: (in unison shoving Ash) "Go! Go!"

The scene cuts to an inside view of the tower. The door opens and Ash peeks himself inside.

Ash: (nervously) "Hello, there! Anybody home?"

Misty: "Well, it's kind of dark in here. (The door shuts behind them) Now, it's pitch black, do something!"

Ash: "Lana, I choose you!"

Lana comes out of the Poké Ball

Lana: "Alright! Stand back while I light up this place!"

She takes a deep breath and then she breaths out some fire through her mouth. The room began to light up a little bit and just a few seconds later Lana stopped to catch her breath.

Misty: "This place is creepy. Maybe we should come back tomorrow, when it's daylight."

Ash: "Have you ever heard of a mortician that comes out during the day?"

Brock: "Look, I found a candle."

Ash: "Alright, Lana. Light up that candle for us!"

Lana: (nods) "You got it!"

Once again she uses her fire breath to light up the candle and also burned Brock.

Brock: (furiously) "LIGHT THE CANDLE, NOT ME!"

Lana: "Sorry! My bad!"

Lincoln: (laughs) "Bravo, that was hilarious."

Now they began walking around with the candle

Misty: "Watch where you walk, there's a hole in the floor. (Laughter was heard which startled everyone) Where are those voices coming from?"

The scene cuts to another room which showed two girls named Haiku and Rachel watching a TV show on a TV. Haiku has a slender figure body, with pale skin. She had long black hair, with a reflective shine, appearing to wear mascara and purple eyeshadow. She wore a long dark purple dress, black belt with a white skull and dark purple fingerless gloves. Rachel is a thin light-skinned girl with a mole on her face, two pairs of eyelashes and waist-length black hair styled in a hime cut. She wore golden triangular earrings, mint-green sleeveless shirt, grey jeans and white shoes. They were laughing at the very parts of the show they were watching.

Rachel: (laughs) "Oh my gosh, did he really have to collapse like that?"

Haiku: (laughs) "Normally I don't laugh at this type of stuff and watch a show on vampires but I can't seem to stop laughing at this."

Then they see that man getting whacked before showing a close up of the eyes popping out. This made Haiku mimic the scene and tried to do the same while laughing away.

Haiku: (laughs) "And his eyes popped out! That's too funny!"

Then, Bertrand comes into the room

Bertrand: "Mind if I join the party?"

Haiku & Rachel: (in unison) "Certainly!"

Then they ran around a few times laughing away. The scene then cuts back to Ash and his friends wandering the tower.

Brock: "Might as well check in this room first."

Misty: "Maybe we should just get out of here!"

Ash: "Nah, there's no way we can turn back now. We gotta go in!"

They open the door.

Brock: "Uh, hey. Mortician Loudémon. If you're in here, say hello."

Ash: "I'm gonna capture you!"

Misty: "Don't say that. If they know you're trying to capture them they won't come out of hiding."

Ash: "You're right."

Brock laughs sheepishly and then the lights turn on unexpectedly.

Lana: "The lights just turned on."

Lincoln: "How did that happen?"

Ash: "What's this?"

Brock: "It looks like.. It looks like some kind of fancy restaurant!"

Misty: "Maybe it's a party? Or some kind of reception?"

Brock: "But who's it for?"

They notice a string

Ash: "What's that string?"

Brock: "There's something written on the card."

Misty: "It says, Pull this."

Ash: "Well, why not?"

Misty: "Wait!"

Too late. Ash pulls the string and a bunch of confetti and other decorations come down

Ash: "Are we.."

Misty: "Being welcomed?"

Brock: "By who?"

The tables began to shake.

Misty: "Look!"

Objects started to float into the air and then a chair started to go towards them. Brock was sent flying on a chair, Lincoln was on a bowl and Lana was on a plate being flung into the air. Ash and Misty watched as objects went towards them and sees Brock, Lincoln and Lana flying around. Misty flees from the room followed by Ash.

Brock: "Jump!"

Lincoln and Lana jump off the bowl and plates and ran out of the room as well. After they escaped, the table goes back to normal and then laughter was heard again. It was revealed to be Bertrand, Haiku, and Rachel who caused all the mayhem in the room.

Rachel: "We scared them pretty good didn't we?"

Haiku: "We sure did. The way we moved the tables around and sent them on a wild ride."

Bertrand: "That was good work indeed my friends."

Ash and his friends were now outside of the tower.

Misty: "There is no way I'm going back in that tower! It's just too scary in there."

Brock: "Me neither."

Ash: "What are you saying? There's no way we can capture a Mortician Loudémon if we don't go back in there. Right Lincoln, Lana?"

Lincoln: "I'm not going back in there, it's way to scary!"

Lana: "I'm not going back in there either!" (Breathes fire on Ash and his friends.)

They fall to the ground.

Ash: "Hold on! Are you two really cowards? How do you expect to beat Sabrina's Psychic Loudémon if you don't go back in? Do you want to lose again?"

Lincoln realizes and the scene cuts to a flashback to when he was knocked out by Dirk.

Lincoln: "Ok, your right."

Ash: "Listen, if your ever gonna beat Psychic Loudémon you gotta learn to overcome your fear, understand?"

Lincoln & Lana: (in unison) "Yes."

Ash: "I say, it's time to give it another try. Lincoln, Lana, are you with me?"

Lincoln & Lana: (in unison) "Yes we are!"

Ash: "Great! Let's do it!"

So, they march back into the tower while Misty and Brock just stood there.

Ash: "Come on, guys. What about you?"

Brock: "We'll both be waiting for you right here."

Misty: "Have a nice time!"

Ash, Lincoln & Lana: "Oh great!"

The camera then zooms in towards the top of the tower before fading to black and panning down to show Ash, Lincoln and Lana back inside.

Ash: "Hello, everybody! We're back! We'd love to meet you. Feel free to introduce yourselves, whenever you like."

Then they notice the hole in the floor

Lincoln: "What's a hole doing on the floor?"

Lana: "Maybe the floor boards are a bit old."

Then some moaning was heard

Ash: "What was that?"

He takes out the Pokédex

Dexter: "Mortician Loudémon are in a vapour form. Their true nature is shrouded in mystery."

Ash: "Oh, well. Guess I'll have to solve the Mystery. (Voices were heard from below) They're down there! Time for us to go get them. Lincoln, electric attack!"

Lincoln: "Right! (His eyes turn yellow) THUNDERSHOOOOOOOOOOOCK!"

It turns out that Lincoln actually shocked Team Rocket as they fell to the ground.

Ash: "Lana, Flamethrower, now!"

Lana: "FLAMETHROWER!"

Her fire breath also hits Team Rocket making them panic.

Ash: "Hey it's working. (Throws a Poké Ball) Go, Poké Ball!"

He throws the Poké Ball only for it to hit Jessie in her face. Then she looks up and sees Ash, Lincoln and Lana.

Ash: "Huh? I wonder if I captured them?"

Jessie: "It's that stuck up little brat again! I'll get him, if it's the last thing I ever do! (Her eyes become flames) Some day, I'm going to make him pay dearly for what he's done!"

James: "She's got fire in her eyes."

Ronnie Anne: "Yeah, and in her hair, too!

Jessie turns around and notices that her hair was actually on fire. She began screaming and ran around in circles trying to make the fire go away. Ash just stood there thinking it was a fireball.

Ash: "Hey, a fireball!"

Jessie stops running and her hair was nearly burnt

Jessie: (sobbing) "He's going to pay for this!"

She falls to the ground.

Ash: "Ah, the fireball's gone! (Haiku appears behind Ash) "Guess we'll get them next time."

Lincoln: (screams) "ASH! ASH!"

Ash: "Huh? Who's that? (Haiku vanishes) You must be seeing things. (Haiku appears in front of Ash) Huh?"

Haiku: "BOO!" (Laughs)

Ash: (alarmed) "Is she a mortician Loudémon?!"

He scans her with the Pokédex

Dexter: "Haiku, a goth Loudémon. The evolved form of Bertrand. No further information."

Ash: "Huh?! Is that all?! Well, we're not gonna lose to some stupid Mortician Loudémon! Go, Lana!"

Lana: "But she's not there."

Ash sees that Haiku has vanished and appears behind him and taps his shoulder.

Ash: (thinking it's Lincoln) "Don't bother me now, Lincoln, quit it. (She continues to tap his shoulder) Cut it out!"

When he stops he notices that he touched Haiku's hand and ran off

Haiku: "I got you!"

Ash: "I'm not afraid of you! You just surprised me a little bit. Lana, you're on!'

Lana: "Right!"

She and Haiku are now face to face

Ash: "Lana! Time to use your Leer Attack!"

And so Lana gives her the leer by starring at her for a few seconds and then Lana makes a funny face which makes Haiku laugh.

Ash: "What are you doing, Lana? You're not supposed to make her laugh."

Lana: (confused) "Really? If that's the case my bad."

Haiku comes down and grabs Lana's arm which immediately paralyzed her

Lana: "Dang it! I've been paralyzed! I can't move!"

Ash: "Aw, this isn't working. Lana, return!"

He recalls Lana to the Poké Ball to recover. Haiku just made another funny face.

Ash: "Do you really think I'm afraid of you?!"

Suddenly, Rachel appears from underneath the floor.

Rachel: "Well, well well. Who do we have here?"

Ash: "There's more of them?"

Rachel whacks Ash with a fan and they both start laughing.

Haiku: "Nice one, Rachel."

Rachel: "Thank you, thank you very much."

Ash: (holds his Pokédex) "I better find out about this girl!"

Dexter: "Rachel. The evolved form of Haiku and the final form of Bertrand. No information available."

Ash: "Not again!"

Lincoln: Well that's odd. (Notices Haiku and Rachel doing something) Hey, what are they doing?"

Haiku: "Rachel, give me a whack of that fan!"

She whacks her with the fan and both laugh. Then they look to their left

Ash: "I don't get it. They're weird.(Haiku and Rachel were shocked and then tried to do a dance.) Are you guys trying to be funny? Your routine isn't working for me."

Lincoln: "It's true."

Haiku & Rachel: "You think we're not funny?"

They were now depressed then the scene shows them laying flat on the snow as it covered their whole bodies in it.

Ash: "I'm sorry to say it, but their humour really leaves me cold."

Lincoln: "Sure does."

Rachel and Haiku now had sad looks on their faces.

Ash: "They're pretty sad."(they began to sink into the floor.) Hey, don't go!"

Ash and Lincoln run to stop them, but they crash into the floor. The crash shakes the chandelier above them and it falls onto Ash and Lincoln, knocking them out. Now Bertrand, Haiku, and Rachel were altogether as they see the chandelier on top of Ash and Lincoln.

Bertrand: "Excellent work. You two did a pretty great job. (Realizes that Ash and Lincoln weren't moving.) Wait. Did we actually kill them?"

Rachel: "I'm not sure. Let me see. (Poke her finger at Ash and Lincoln) I think we did kill them. Maybe we went a little too far."

Haiku: "Eh, who cares? Why don't we have some fun with them even if they are dead."

She pulls out the ghost form of Ash and Lincoln. They were shocked to see their bodies lying on the floor.

Ash: "We're down there!"

Lincoln: "What the heck just happened?!"

Ash: "What's going on?"

Lincoln: "I have no idea, I don't like this."

Haiku: "We are alike now."

Lincoln: "Really?"

Ash: "Oh, no! We've been totally separated from our bodies!"

Haiku: "Do you want to become one of us?"

Ash: "No way, I don't want to become a ghost yet! (Get's pulled by Haiku going up) Oh, no. Wherever you're taking us, we don't want to go! (Outside, he sees the view of Lavender Town) Ah! What a view!"

Lincoln: "Wow."

Ash: (sees Brock and Misty)"Oh? Ha ha! Now's our chance to have some fun!"

On the ground, Misty and Brock were still waiting for Ash.

Misty: "Ash is taking too long. (Ash floats towards her) I think we better go in, and see how he's doing."

Brock: "That's a good idea."

Ash: "So, Misty, you're really worried about me?"

She turns around but sees nothing even though Ash is behind her.

Brock: "What's wrong, Misty?"

Misty: "I just thought, I heard a voice."

Ash: "Come for a ride with me, Misty!"

He lifts Misty into the air.

Brock: "Ah, Misty!"

Misty: "Help! The ghost has got me!"

Ash: "Okay, ride's over. (Drops her to the ground) Catch her, Brock."

Brock catches her and eventually collapses.

Misty: "I think something terrible has happened to Ash!"

Now they were heading to the tower. In the air, Ash and Lincoln were enjoying their time flying as a ghost.

Ash: "Yeah! I'm flying. (He was now flying in a forest with Bertrand, Haiku, and Rachel behind him) Aw, cool! (Haiku moves away from the group then she appears in front of him to make him go through her. Ash was a bit afraid but eventually goes through her and stopped in front of her.) You fooled me!"

Rachel: "Of course we did."

Haiku: "I wasn't gonna eat you at all."

Ash and Lincoln laughed with them. The gang took Ash and Lincoln to a room in the tower filled with lots of toys, even a carousel. They were amazed.

Ash: "Wow! Look at all these toys!"

Lincoln: "This is nice."

Haiku: "Welcome to our play room."

Rachel: "We don't usually come here often."

Bertrand: "We may be Morticians and like dark stuff but we also have a very bright side."

Ash: "Huh? Do you mean you only wanted somebody to play with?"

Haiku & Rachel: "Yes, that's correct."

Ash: "Really? Was that all? You just wanted to have some fun, not scare people? (He turns around and sees Lincoln on a swing with Bertrand.) I understand, how you must have been bored for such a long time. That's tough."

Haiku: "We were wondering if you could stay and play with us."

Rachel: "Yeah, stick around and stay with us for a while."

Ash: "I'm sorry, but I can't stay with you and play with all these great toys. There are still lots and lots of opponents out there for me to battle. I have to fulfill my dream of becoming a Loudémon Master."

Haiku: "Are you trying to fool us?"

Rachel: "Come on."

Ash: "Sorry, but I really have to go."

Haiku, Rachel & Bertrand: "Awwww."

Ash: "I'll miss you all."

Rachel: "Very well then. I guess we'll take you back."

Bertrand: "Normally we don't cry but…" (cries)

Ash and Lincoln look at each other as they see the gang in tears. Meanwhile, Brock and Misty have found Ash and Lincoln's bodies, pulled them out from underneath the chandelier and are trying to wake them up.

Misty: "Ash! Lincoln!"

Brock: "Come on, wake up!"

Misty: "Oh, Ash, can't you hear me? Please say something! (Ash, Lincoln and the mortician gang appear) Ash! Open your eyes! Please, Ash!"

Ash: "Ah! I guess it's time to go back Lincoln."

Lincoln: "Alright let's go."

Ash and Lincoln return to their bodies and wake up.

Ash: "Hi, Misty."

Misty: "Huh? You're alive!"

Lincoln: "Yeah, we are alive alright."

Brock: "Lincoln!"

Ash: "Hey guys, sorry to worry you."

Brock: "No sweat, glad to have you guys back."

Misty and Brock were happy they are wake, Misty was about to cry. Ash looks up and smiles at the gang above him. The next day, they leave the tower.

Misty: "But, Ash, what about the Mortician Loudémon?"

Ash: "Aw, it's impossible to catch them."

Brock: "What? Then how are you gonna ever beat the Psychic Loudémon?

Ash: "Hmm. Maybe, I'll have to use my sense of humour."

Misty & Brock: (in unison) "Huh?"

Lincoln: "Guys, look behind you!"

They turn around and see Haiku making a funny face at them which immediately made Brock and Misty panic and run off, Ash and Lincoln laughed with Haiku.

Narrator: "Well, it seems it was so much fun playing with Ash that Haiku decided to follow along on his Loudémon journey. Maybe together, their comedy act will knock out Sabrina's Psychic Loudémon!"

Meanwhile, the other Mortician Loudémon tie Team Rocket to the carousel and send them spinning.

Jessie: "I can't take it anymore!"

James: "Let me off! I'm dizzy!"

Ronnie Anne: "Stop the ride, I want to get off!"

Rachel and Bertrand smile as watch them spin around.

Jessie, James & Ronnie Anne: "Looks like Team Rocket's throwing up again!"
