(The next morning)
Lucy awoke in her castle to the sound of her alarm going off. After turning it off, she sat up in bed with her pet cat next to her. Another day being poor she thought. Of all the family members, she was taking losing the family fortune the hardest, and was having trouble adapting, hence why she had gotten herself a weekend detention. On cue, a couple droids came in with her breakfast, a couple simple pieces of toast. Her family's groceries were being bought and paid for by miss Honey, but being how she was, she was cheaping out on them
"Morning your majesty. After breakfast and detention you have a meeting with Moff Richards, I'll get your favorite dress ready" said a droid
The droid went to the closet and laid out the pink dress that belonged to Vanellope, but to the droids surprise, Lucy refused to wear it.
"But, it's your favorite, is it not?"
Another droid went to tie Lucy's hair into a ponytail, but she also refused its help.
"After what my mom did to me, I don't want to wear anything associated with her" said Lucy "and I don't want to look like her. Speaking of that"
To the biggest surprise of the droids, Lucy took her heart necklace off her neck and threw it across the room. This was a major surprise as Lucy loved that thing more than anything and rarely took it off.
"But your majesty, that necklace-
"Was a gift from my mom and I don't want anything associated with her after she ruined my life. And regarding the order for treats from miss honey, cancel it, I don't want anything to do with her either after what she told mom to do" said Lucy
"Roger Roger" the droids reluctantly replied
Lucy petted her cats head and turned to get out of bed.
"Maybe I'll like having my hair down like this, Benson. I mean, mocho likes my hair this way" said Lucy
Her cat merely purred before hopping out of bed with her.
With Vanellope, she was on her way to the police station to get information about the stolen stuff, and noticed a transformer on every block drunk out of their mind, with empty energon cubes littering rooftops.
"Note to self, get Honey to stop selling that sweet energon to the transformers. Can't have them too drunk from depression." Said Vanellope to herself
Upon reaching the police station, Vanellope looked at the files regarding the thefts, and most of what was stolen were transformer t cogs and cars, with the occasional military vehicle.
"Why would anyone want this stuff?" Vanellope asked a police trooper
"Heck if I know. The only thing these thefts have in common is they happen at night"
"This is definitely something I need to go over with my family. Maybe my daughter can see something I can't" said Vanellope
Vanellope went home after, where she saw Rancis and Lucy sitting together at the end of the throne room with Kevin and Ralph standing nearby.
"Even when I try to do everything right I still don't get what I want. My subjects are suffering because of what mom did and i can't help them now" Lucy told her dad sadly
"I think the imps are trying to make you look bad by denying aid" said Rancis
"Lucy, changed your look I see" said Vanellope
"I don't want to look like you is all" said Lucy
"I can respect that, still angry at that war I know. I got the files from the police station, but I don't see much of a connection, Lucy I thought your droids could help out" said Vanellope
Lucy snatched the papers out of vanellopes hands and marched out of the room.
"It was a real rough morning for her" said Ralph
"Got complaints today about the transformers. Miss honeys energon is making them drunk. Seems they're a big seller at her store because of this crime wave" said Kevin
"I saw them on my way to the station. All in favor of a cease and desist in selling her product?"
Everyone raised their hand and Rancis quickly got to work issuing the paperwork order.
"I'll deliver it. Could use the walk" said Kevin
"Just be careful out there" said Ralph
Kevin grabbed his backpack and made the short walk to honeys store. He didn't mention it to his family, but he just like everyone else was a little bitter at her for what she did to them. He had adjusted well to his family losing money, and having to pay the Empire taxes til November, but he drew the line when the empire took his businesses away. He could still do what he wanted with them, but the empire now took all his profits, profits he could've used to help the city and less fortunate, money he could've used to help Lucy with her problems.
Upon reaching the store, he saw Honey restocking shelves. Her belly had grown from her pregnancy, so she moved a little slower.
"Miss Honey, good to see you again. I have a present from my parents for you" said Kevin
"Ah, Kevin, my precious worker bee, nice to see you. And present? What is it?" Honey asked
Kevin shoved the papers at her chest.
"Cease and desist order. Your sweet energon is making the transformers too drunk and depressed. I don't care that it's making up a lot of your sales, it's bad for their health to drink this much. This crime wave shouldn't be an excuse for you to profit off that" said Kevin
"Oh I'm so sorry, I had no idea. I'll halt my sales of that immediately" said Honey
"Very good. So how's life been? Your unborn baby good?" Kevin asked
Honey rubbed her pregnant belly.
"My baby is doing fine, just a couple more months or so and it'll be out. And my life is great, business is well, my husband is now a police sergeant, life is good" said Honey
"Good for you. My life is getting worse. This crime wave is hurting the city, my sister got her first detention, and the empire took away my businesses til December" said Kevin bitterly
"Oh you poor thing. Im sorry to hear that, but I'm sure your life will get better" said Honey
"It's not fair, my family's life is getting worse and yours is getting better. My own sister is changing, she's willingly keeping her hair down, refusing to put up her ponytail. That heart necklace on your neck, well my sister refuses to wear hers now, she asked me to hold onto it for her indefinitely. Says it reminds her too much of mom. She's not been adjusting to the changes" said Kevin
"She's been doing that?" Honey asked
"Yes. She's not herself. And all of this is your fault!"
"What? My fault?" Honey asked
"You gave my mom bad advice which cost us everything. Lucy's planets are suffering. She's been on Santa's naughty list too now for 2 years, and I blame last year on you. Her droids actions which were caused by my mom put her there. You know how it feels, watching my sister cry?" Kevin angrily asked
"Kevin please, calm down. We can talk about this" honey pleaded
"You want calm? I'll show you calm" said Kevin
He glitched into honeys office and came back a minute later with her black purse. He held it up high and threw it hard at a wall of honey jars, covering it with honey. Honey was speechless.
"I hope the thieves steal your car or something. And about my sisters orders, she's canceling them"
Kevin marched out of the store and slammed the door, cracking the glass. Honey was upset, but didn't say anything. She picked up her purse and unzipped it to grab her phone, but was met with colorful juices squirting out of it into her face. She pulled a box of fruit gushers from the planets candy world out of her purse and threw them to the side as they gushed liquid over the broken honey jars. Honey sat against the counter and began to cry
(That night, farmland protector base 'Hells gate', somewhere in the farmlands)
Located in the big airfield of Hells gate was the most powerful weapon the farmland protectors had, a large helicopter like ship called the dragon assault ship. Owned and operated by colonel Quaritch, it had enough firepower to destroy a city the size of Manhattan. Originally brought over by the original protectors, and while extremely powerful and well armored, all the soldiers and even the royals of Litwak city deemed the machine to be a bit of overkill, so it was only ever used in emergencies. Despite this it was kept in working order should the occasion arise, and that made it a perfect target for the thieves.
Using stolen uniforms, the thieves snuck onto the base and snuck aboard the ship. Upon reaching the cockpits, they studied what they had to work with.
"The boss is gonna love this baby"
"I've read what I could, this thing has friend or foe identification on the weapons, better get those disabled or this tubs a sitting duck"
"Hurry, we can't start the engines without those disabled or they'll stop us"
After some tinkering with the ships computers, the thieves started the engines.
In the base control room, the colonel got a report about the theft about to happen.
"What's happening, night ops in ships are extremely forbidden" said Quaritch
"It's the dragon, unauthorized engine start"
"It's the thieves, somebody's stealing my baby" said Quaritch angrily
He grabbed a gun from a soldier and marched towards the balcony outside the room.
"Sound the alarm" Quaritch shouted before kicking a door open
The control room sent out a base wide alarm and shone spotlights at the airfield as the dragon began rising off the ground. Quaritch aimed his machine gun at the cockpit and opened fire. Soldiers rushed out of the base and too opened fire, but their weapons had little impact on the gunship.
"Let's see what this thing can do" said one of the thieves
The thieves activated the automatic weapons and opened fire on the troops. Bullets and missiles fired out of the ship, destroying all the helicopters and amp suits on the airfield one by one, before taking out the repair bay. Quaritch was getting angrier and more worried as the attack drove on.
"Activate the wall sentry guns, hurry" he shouted into a radio
Before the control teams could activate the guns, the dragon turned its attention towards the base and opened fire. Missile after missile bombs red the main base, setting it ablaze and igniting explosives stored in the armory. Within minutes, the base was reduced to rubble, and the dragon took off high in the sky into the night. Quaritch, badly wounded, emerged from some of the rubble and screamed in frustration.
