Trent was in the school quad finishing up playing his guitar while a bunch of other teens were sitting around him enjoying it then they started applauding for him.
Trent: thank you guys you're all too kind
Teen 1: nice song buddy
Teen 2: yeah, Trent you da man
Teen 3: speaking of which did you get onto Total Drama Island
Trent: I don't know apparently; they'll send a letter to tell if you've been accepted or not
Teen 1: dude if they don't pick you then Tv is officially run by idiots
Soon enough Trent walked home pondering over the question did he get accepted or not, soon enough he gets home and opens his mailbox and inside was a letter addressed to him.
Trent: oh my god could this be…wait remember the lucky nine
He starts to rub the letter nine times really quickly then opens it to find a contract, a plane ticket and a letter that said:
Dear Trenton Cooper
We are proud to announce that you out of all the hundreds of other teens you have specifically been picked to star in our new tv show Total Drama Island. Too officially participate please sign the contract to state that you are comfortable to be on TV and mail back before June 6th if not then you will not be able to compete and will be replaced. However, if you do however mail back then on June 23rd please arrive at your designated airport and board the plane to Toronto with the plane ticket provided, once there a limousine will be waiting for you to drop you off at a harbour where a yacht will take you to the island.

Trent: YES, I GOT ON, THANK YOU GRANDPA, THANK YOU LUCKY NUMBER NINE!
