Owen and his parents along with his two brother Johnny and Gavin were in the kitchen having a really big breakfast, his father was at the stove cooking so bacon.
Owen's Dad: okay who is up for a nineth serving
Everyone: ME!
As they chow down into the bacon, they hear the doorbell ring.
Owen: I'll get it
The second he gets his two brothers try to eat his plate of bacon, but he quickly takes it to prevent them from eating it.
He goes over to the door while still eating his plate of bacon, and when he opens it he sees Jill the mailwoman.
Jill: bacon day am I right
Owen: that you are (continues to eat bacon)
Jill: anyway, I've got a package and a letter for you
Owen: thanks Jill… (he farts)
Jill: oh, see a doctor already
She leaves trying to catch her breath from Owen's stink while he just acted as if it was normal.
He got back into the kitchen with his family to show them the stuff they got.
Owen's Mom: oh, sweetie what did we get
Owen: well in the package is… (opens it) wow it's the new panini maker, and the letter is for oh it's for me
He opens the letter to find a contract, a plane ticket and a letter that said:
Dear Owen Caldwell
We are proud to announce that you out of all the hundreds of other teens you have specifically been picked to star in our new tv show Total Drama Island. Too officially participate please sign the contract to state that you are comfortable to be on TV and mail back before June 6th if not then you will not be able to compete and will be replaced. However, if you do however mail back then on June 23rd please arrive at your designated airport and board the plane to Toronto with the plane ticket provided, once there a limousine will be waiting for you to drop you off at a harbour where a yacht will take you to the island.

Owen: I GOT ACCEPTED, I'M GOING TO BE ON TV!
The family gets so excited they all start jumping in the air in excitement however after a few jumps they all get really tired and sit back down and continue to eat bacon.
