It had been many days to follow since Diata found and had brought Elsa into the pride. Whatever pain they had once felt at the loss of the ones they had loved were now behind them. Life for them had come to change. Elsa lived with her new lion family in the jungle that had became more like home. She still missed her parents, but Elsa was starting to become close to Diata and the jungle folk. She became friends with Mufasa's son, Simba and Sarafina's daughter, Nala and many other animals.

The three of them had come to share many adventures within the jungle. Far more then what a single book could ever hope to hold. But none could compare to that of the one that would embark on this very day.

One that would come to change their very lives...

Early that morning inside the Den of the pride, Elsa was sleeping against Diata's side, snuggled into her soft white fur. Her blue dress was reduced to a tattered blue cloth she wore over her upper body. Her icy blond hair was kept in a French braid like how she liked it.

Elsa continued to lay asleep next to her mother. When suddenly she felt something nudging her.

"Elsa, Elsa wake up!" a voice whispered into her ear.

Elsa moaned, opening her eyes. slightly. She then glanced up, where she saw Simba and Nala standing over her. Trying to wake her up so they could go and explore the jungle like they always do.

"Simba, Nala," she said, moaning.

"Go back to sleep."

"Come on, Elsa," Simba said, continuing to nudge her.

"It's already morning. Lets go!"

Elsa moaned as she leaning up from her mother, rubbing her left eye.

"Right now?" asked Elsa.

"Come on." said Nala, encouraging her.

"Don't be such a sleepy head."

Elsa groaned as she shook her head.

"Alright." said Elsa, giving in to her friends.

Simba and Nala turned and began to sneak toward the cave entrance. Elsa stood up quietly as to not wake her mother, crept along on all fours. They sneaked around the other lionesses as they came to the cave entrance. Glancing back to see the adults were still asleep, the three cubs smiled as they turned and raced outside the cave.

The three cubs came outside the cave, where they were greeted with the morning sun over the far horizon.

"Come on, let's go!" Simba proclaimed, glancing back at Nala and Elsa.

Simba then turned and made his way down the path as Elsa and Nala followed suit. As the cubs continued down to the jungle below, Diata appeared from the entrance of the den. She came up over the ledge, where she peered below her daughter, Simba and Nala going to play in the jungle like always do.

Though Diata still had much concern for Elsa going off into the jungle without her. Ever since the death of her first cub, she's been quite vigilant of Elsa's safety. The jungle was still quite dangerous for one of her age. Of course, she could trust many of the animals of the jungle, like Tantor, Rafiki, Zazu, Shara, Timon, Pumbaa, Bagheera and Kala. They were more than happy to look out for Elsa.

But even so, Diata was deeply concerned about hyenas or even human hunters. Elsa was all she had left and wanted her safe. She couldn't bear to lose her like she did her own.

As she watched the three cubs make their way down the path, they then passed Timon and Pumbaa as they made their way up the path.

"Hey, Timon," Elsa said, quickly.

"Hi, Pumbaa."

"Good morning, Elsa." Pumbaa said, glancing back at the cubs.

The two came up over the top of the path, where they came up over the ledge.

"Good morning, Diata." Timon said.

"Your looking as ravishing as always."

Diata smiled.

"Thank you, Timon." She said.

"So, we still on for the watering hole?" Timon asked, curiously.

Diata glanced back down at her daughter, Simba and Nala make their way into the jungle.

"Actually, could I ask you both to do something for me?" She asked, glancing back to them.

Timon and Pumbaa glanced to each other, curiously.

"What is it?" Timon asked, curiously.

"Would you both keep an eye on Elsa?" She asked.

"You know those three are bound to get into trouble."

Timon and Pumbaa glanced to one another. Both of them knowing well of what she meant by those three getting into trouble. Both of them sharing the same love Diata had for Elsa, as well as for Simba and Nala.

"You got it, Diata," Timon insisted to her.

"We're on them like stink on a warthog."

"Hey!" Pumbaa said, glancing up at him.

"We've been over this, Pumbaa." Timon claimed, glancing down at him.

The two then turned and made their way down the path.

The three cubs raced through the jungle foliage. Plowing their way through the leaves and palms, Simba and Nala both emerged from the brush.

"Come on, Elsa," Nala said, glancing back into the foliage.

"Keep up!"

The two then ran ahead as Elsa emerged from the brush, pushing aside the palm leaves.

"Hey, wait for me, you guys!" Elsa said.

She the proceeded to chase after the two cubs, running as fast as her legs could carry her and came up behind them. The three ran to a fallen large log which laid over the path. Simba and Nala leaped up onto the log and tried climbing over it. Only for Elsa to jump up over the top of the log and then jumped into the air. She grabbed a vine hanging above and proceeded to swing ahead.

As she came to the climax of her swing, Elsa released her hold over the vine. She landed firmly over her two feet like the lions themselves. Since coming to the jungle, Elsa had learned many skills from the animals. She learned from her mother, the pride and Bagheera the basic skills of how to hunt. She also learned to climb trees and swing from vines from the apes.

"Hey, no fair!" Simba called out.

"Can't catch me!" she called back to them.

Elsa the turned and continued to run through the jungle. Both Simba and Nala came up over the log. Then then leaped down over the ground and chased after her. Elsa plowed through the foliage, hoping over the root of a three that stood from the ground. She then came out into a clearings, where a tribe of gorillas were nesting. Passing by several, who glanced to the girl cub, curiously.

Elsa came out underneath a nearby tree. High in the canopy above the girl, the she-ape, Kala glanced below where she saw the girl. She then smiled as she then proceeded to climb down the tree. It then that Simba and Nala both came up to Elsa

"I won!" She exclaimed to them.

Simba shook his head.

"Nuh ah!" He said.

"You cheated!"

"Did not!" Elsa argued, playfully.

"Oh yeah?" Simba grinned as he pounced at the girl.

Elsa caught Simba as she fell over onto her back. Nala joined in as she leaped into them. The three friends laughed as they continued to tackle one another. When suddenly a large shadow came upon them. The three stopped fighting and looked up, only to be met with the unwelcoming eyes of the sliver back gorilla, Kerchek.

He stared down angrily, especially at Elsa.

"Uh oh." Nala said, glancing down at Elsa and Simba.

The three got off each other as they faced Kerchek.

"Hi, Kerchek." said Elsa, nervously.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, sternly.

Elsa tried to speak up, but there were no words she could find to say. Kerchek didn't tolerate any of the lion cubs near his family and that was also a rule for Elsa. Though everyone in the jungle had come to accept Elsa since the say of Council meeting, there were those that were very suspicious of the girl-cub. One of these few folks was Kerchek.

Unlike Mufassa, he didn't take kindly to Elsa's presence. He knows what human were and all that they have done. Never did he see Elsa like she was a part of the jungle.

Kala had climbed down from the tree above. She then came to Kerchek's side, placing her hand atop his arm.

"Kerchek." She said as the tribe leader turned to her.

It was there that he was met with the pleading gaze of Kala. A look that he himself could never He glanced back to the three cubs for a moment before uttering a grunt. He then turned and walked away toward the others. Kala then turned to the three cubs.

"Hello, you three." she said.

"Hi, Kala." said, Elsa smiling back at her.

"What are you three up to today?" asked Kala.

"Off on another adventure?"

"Uh ha!" said Elsa, nodding her head.

Kala smiled. She was a kind, motherly gorilla among the tribe. She was best friends with Diata since they were both young and was kind of like a teacher to Elsa. When they first met, Diata came for a visit to her family. She introduced Elsa to Kala and the other female gorillas. While some seemed weary, like Kerchek, Kala saw it differently than him. She liked Elsa very much.

"Where are you off too?" Kala asked.

"Oh, uh, nowhere." Simba insisted to her.

"Yeah." added Nala, nodding her head in agreement.

Kala smiled down at the three cubs.

"I see." She said.

"Do your parents know where you're going?"

The three cubs glanced to one another, pondering for an answer she could give Kala. Though the moment of silence that followed was already a clear answer to the she-ape.

"Of course they do." he said grinning.

Kala just chuckled. She knew very well they were lying.

"Alright then." she said.

"Come on, guys!" said Simba as he ran toward the jungle.

"Bye Kala!" said Elsa as she and Nala ran after Simba.

Kala turned her head and watch the tree friends disappear into the jungle.

Elsa, Simba and Nala continued their race through the jungle. Plowing through the foliage, leaping and jumping over and down steep paths. The young lion cub was in the lead. But Elsa was catching up to him. With the speed of her two legs she soon passed by Simba.

"Hey!" he said seeing Elsa run past him.

Elsa glanced back at him, chuckling as she continued on to the river. The three cubs then past by a family of four tigers, one of them was two years older than them, was laying next to a tree. The tigress raised her head looking to them. She smiled getting a great idea in her head. She then got up and chased after them.

Shara, the tigress looked to her departing daughter.

"Zarya, where are you going?!" She called to her as he stood up.

"I'll be back later, mom!" she said back to him.

Elsa, Simba and Nala continued on racing to the river. Zarya chasing them had caught up to Nala and was passing by her and Simba. She came to Elsa's side. Elsa looked to her just as she passed by her.

"Better keep up!" she said getting ahead of them.

"Hey, Zarya!" said Elsa to the orange, black striped tigress.

The four then came into a clearing from the forest. There was a rushing stream of water separating the side from other. Zarya came into the clearing first. She stopped and slid a bit. She then looked to the jungle and saw Elsa, Simba and Nala come out from the shadows of the forest.

"Ha, beat ya!" she said laughing.

"No fair!" Simba proclaimed.

"Don't be a cry baby, Simba." said the young tigress.

Zarya was kind of friends of the three. She was the older daughter of Shara. She always like to get the jump on her friends. She and Elsa were good friends. They would play together allot. She was kind of like a big sister to her. A big, sometimes annoying, sister.

Zarya then walked closer to them.

"Where are you three going?" She asked curiously.

"We were just heading here to the river." said Elsa.

"Oh really." said Zarya knowing that these three are always looking for adventure in many places.

"What for?"

"Nothing." Nala insisted to her.

"Yeah." said Elsa, agreeing with Nala.

"Really?" asked Zarya, raising an eyebrow.

Elsa nodded her head.

"Yeah." answered Elsa.

"You thinking of going on the other side of the river?" asked Zarya looking to the other side of the river.

"No, we're not allowed to cross the river." Elsa said knowing they weren't allowed that way.

The other side of the river was said to be dangerous. Any young cub who wandered alone in that place would be hunted by other predators or get caught in traps, set by humans. Diata was always weary of that place. She told Elsa to never go across the river to the other side. Elsa never planned to disobey her adopted mother.

"Come on, it'll be fun." insisted the young tigress, gazing to the other side of the river.

"And where might you be off to?"

The young tigress then froze. The four looked up to the canopy of the tree above. It was there they saw Begheera, the panther laying over the branch above. The panther stood up over the branch before he leaped down out of the tree, landing over his four paws.

"Bagheera!" Elsa said.

"You better not be thinking of going to the other side of the river." Bagheera said, walking up to them.

"It's far too dangerous."

"What's the big deal with that place?" asked Simba, curiously.

"Yeah?" asked Nala, curiously.

"There are those would live in that part of the jungle." Begheera insisted to them.

"They will surely kill you if they find you."

"But my dads the king." Simba claimed to him.

"It does not matter." Begheera insisted, shaking his head.

"They will kill you either way. They don't care if you're the son of Mufassa."

Simba narrowed his head in disappointment.

"We weren't going to cross the river, Bagheera." said Elsa.

"We promise."

"You four shouldn't be here." said Begheera.

"Go back to the jungle, this is no place for any of you."

The four walked back into the jungle. Begheera watched as they went back into the woods. He gave a brief sigh.

"Kids." he said shaking his head.

The four friends came to a tree with countless mangos hanging from the branches above. Elsa looked up at the many fruits above her. They looked so tasty and the very thought of them made her stomach growl. She hadn't eaten for a while. She was so hungry; she wanted to have just one.

Simba came up to the tree and laid down next to it, pouting. He was so upset that they got caught before they could see what was on the other side of the river.

"Hey, don't pout, Simba." said Elsa, coming up to the tree.

Simba just groaned in response.

"Yeah, it's not your fault that I beat you at the race." Zarya said.

"You weren't even part of the race." said Simba.

knowing that only he; Elsa and Nala were the only ones who were racing. She just came in at the last-minute.

"Don't be such a poor sport Simba." said Zarya just wanting to have some fun.

"Hey, I'm not a poor sport!" argued Simba raising his head of the group.

"Sure you are." said Zarya, chuckling.

Elsa held her mouth, trying to hold back her laughter. Elsa looked up the tree. The wild girl then leaped up and grabbed on the bark of the trunk. She pulled herself up the trunk reaching her hands up and grabbing onto the trunk.

Elsa came up to the first branch. She moved to side and came onto it. She kneeled down on the branch and gazed up at a high one. It was so fat and juicy. Elsa stood up and reached for the mango. Her hand was straight up trying to grab it. But it was too high up for her. Elsa then stood up on her toes and got to the point where she could touch it.

Just as she. She fell out of the tree. She screamed as she fell but upon landing, she felt herself land on something smooth and yet also furry. Followed by a high pitch screams that was suddenly silenced. Elsa groaned as she leaned up her head.

"That was a close one!"

Elsa glanced down and saw that she was laying over top of Pumbaa, the Warthog.

"Pumbaa?" Elsa said.

It was right at that moment she heard a muffling under her. She glanced down, when she then realized. She got back up quickly and saw Timon, the meerkat, laying over his stomach atop Pumbaa's back. Elsa gasped as she covered her hands over her mouth.

"Timon!" Elsa exclaimed, picking Timon up in both hands.

"Are you alright?"

Timon groaned as he shook his head.

"I'm fine." He said, raising his finger.

Elsa placed Timon down upon Pumbaa's Timon and Pumbaa then looked to Simba who was still pouting about getting caught by Begheera.

"Hey, why so glum, Simba?" Pumbaa said as he sat down next to him.

Simba looked up to him, before shaking his head.

"Nothing," he answered, glancing to the side.

"Nothing huh?" asked Timon, holding onto his sides.

"Simba is just mad because he lost a race." Elsa insisted to him.

Timon shrugged as he came up to the prince.

"Ah, who cares about some race?" he insisted, coming up next to the prince.

"You carnivores are always running around everywhere. Remember what we always say?"

Elsa nodded her head to them.

"Hakuna Matata!" Elsa proclaimed to them.

Timon and Pumbaa nodded their heads to the girl.

"That's it!" Timon said, pointing at her

"Hey, what do you say we head down to the watering hole?"

Elsa nodded her head to them.

"Okay." she said, nodding her head.

Elsa, Zarya, Nala and Simba followed after. But Simba stopped and looked back the way they came. He wanted to know what was across the river. He turned back to the others.

"Guys." he said in a whispering tone.

Elsa, Nala and Zarya stopped and looked to him.

"What?" asked Elsa.

"Come on." He said as he turned and ran the other direction.

"Hey wait. Simba!" said Elsa, as she, Nala and Zarya went after the adventurous prince.

Elsa, Nala and Zarya chased after the young lion prince through the jungle brush. Simba was so eager to find a way to cross the river to see what was on the other side. And like all the times he's done something like this, he was bond to get himself in trouble. Elsa was the first to came out from the jungle and back to the river. She saw Simba standing At the edge of the stream, looking for a way across. But there was nothing he could use to cross.

"Simba what are you doing?" Said Elsa.

"We can't cross the river."

Simba just looked to her with a stern look.

"Come on Elsa, it'll be fun." He said.

He then looked to his left and saw a fallen tree truck that fell over the river. It was long enough to reach the other side and it was wide enough for them to cross.

"Alright!" He said as he rushed over to tree trunk.

"Simba wait!" Said Elsa as she, Nala and Zarya followed him.

Simba came up to the fallen tree. He jump up and landed on the tree root. He climbed up and came onto the trees bark surface. He looked down to Elsa, Nala and Zarya.

"Come on, let's see what's on the other side." Said Simba.

Nala and Zarya came up and climbed up the tree root, but Elsa hesitated a bit. She knew what her mother told her about going over to the other side. She didn't want to disobey her mother. Nala looked back to her.

"Elsa come on." She said making the young jungle girl look to her.

Elsa looked to the tree trunk. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have a look at what was on the other side. I mean what's the harm in just taking a look. Words that would guide her to something familiar. Elsa came up and climbed up on the tree. She looked ahead to the other side. She felt a bit guilty about what she was about to do. But maybe it would be fine if they get back in time.

The four friends began to cross the tree truck to the other side of the river. Simba reached the other side he jumbled down to the ground below and turned to look to up to The girls. Nala came after and Zarya followed after her. The three then looked to Elsa, who came to the edge of the tree.

"Come on, Elsa." Said Zarya.

Elsa first looked back they way they came. She came this far, there was no turning back now. If his mother found out about this, she's would be so mad that she disobeyed her. Elsa narrowed her eyes. She looked back and then leaped off the tree. She landed on the ground on all fours, like a lion cub. The friends looked all around. It didn't seem any different then the other side was. It just seemed like the jungle land that they had live in all there lives.

"This place doesn't seem that bad." Said Simba as he looked back at his friends.

"Yeah." Said Nala noticing the same thing.

"I wonder what Bagheera was talking about. It looks safe."

Elsa was thinking differently than them. She didn't feel the same way, mostly cause they disobeyed their elders. She began feeling really guilty about the choice she made.

"I don't know." Said Elsa still a bit concerned and weary about this place.

"Relax Elsa." Said Simba looking back at her.

"We're not in any trouble. Come on, let's check this place out!"

The four friends went further into the jungle, getting further away from the boundary. The fact of danger and harm came to no fear to them. At least not Simba. But there was something else in the jungle, that was soon to be met.
