Chapter 2

Sheamus was driving home with his fiancé, but she kept glancing at him, wondering what was wrong. The thirty-minute drive to his house was quiet; Sheamus was replaying the phone call in his head, wondering how he is going to tell Christine his past. As soon as they got out of the car, Sheamus opened the door, and his anger escalated further when he saw Wade Barrett sitting on the couch in the living room. Christine looked on in disbelief, wondering who he is and what was going on.

"Baby, who the hell is this?!" Christine asked Sheamus.

"Oh, Hello Sheamus, long time no see!" Wade said getting up.

"Wait a minute, he knows you?!" Christine said in disbelief.

"And who is this lovely lady?" Wade asked.

Sheamus has had enough and tackled Wade to the ground, attacking him. Christine pulled him off trying to calm him down.

"Well, looks like your lady here doesn't know that much about you." Wade said getting up.

"Bugger off, Wade!" Sheamus shouted.

"Before I go, let's tell your lovely lady here why I am really here." Wade replied.

"GET OUT!" Sheamus yelled.

"Sheamus, where are your manners?" Wade said, evilly. "Where do I begin, before Sheamus came to the U.S., him and I would train and wrestle together. Then after the shows, him and I would go out for drinks and let's say, he's not all that innocent."

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Christine asked him.

"Miss, Sheamus and I would pick up girls from the bar and we would take turns sleeping with them." Wade started. "Then when he started getting more popular, I decided to end our friendship. You see, I am here to get what I want. I want my revenge and what better way to do that than to…

"YOU BETTER NOT COME NEAR HER!" Sheamus yelled.

"Like I told you on the phone, this is not over." Wade replied. "I will see myself out. Nice getting to know you again, friend and lovely lady." Wade left the house, leaving Christine in disbelief of everything she heard.

"Sheamus, when were you going to tell me this?!" Christine yelled.

"Baby, I was planning to tell you tonight…" Sheamus started to say.

"He called you earlier today, didn't he?" Christine asked, with hurt in her voice.

"Yes, baby, but he's a manipulator. He's trying to turn you against me. I know I am not perfect but please, do not leave me." Sheamus said, on the verge of tears.

"I don't know what to say." Christine said, feeling hurt.

"Baby, I am not like that anymore. When I met you, I fell in love with you. I know I should have told you my past, but I was hoping it would disappear." Sheamus explained to her.

"I need to think about this, about us." Christine said, crying.

She went upstairs to his bedroom and shut the door. Sheamus sat on the couch, with his hands on his face, crying and feeling afraid that he lost her. Christine went to his bed and started crying. She needed to talk to someone. She got her cell phone and called Christina. Christina and Drew were playing with Angela when her phone started to ring.

"Hey, girl. What's up?" Christina answered.

"Christina, I need to talk to you and Drew, please put your phone on speaker." Christine replied, with her voice hoarse from crying.

"What's wrong, sweetie? Why are you crying?" Christina asked after putting her phone on speaker.

"This Wade Barrett guy was at the house, Sheamus attacked him, and Wade told me about Sheamus' past with him." Christine started. "Then he said that he would sleep around with girls at the bar with him. I can't believe he didn't tell me this."

"Sweetheart, you need to regain your composure." Drew added. "He loves you and I am sure he wanted to tell you when he was ready."

"I know Drew, but I would rather have heard it from him than that conniving bastard." Christine replied, with tears in her eyes.

"Love, please don't cry. You know how much he loves you." Christina replied." He needs you now more than ever. Please kiss and make up."

"I agree, sweetie. He may be a lot of things, but he is a lover first and a fighter second. Forgive the lad, he needs you." Drew said.

"I don't want to lose him…." Christine stated.

"Then tell him how you really feel." Christina replied. "Show him how much you love him and make that bastard eat his words!"

"Baby, we are not supposed to cuss in front of Angela. It's bad enough she's grabbing the pens Christine bought for her." Drew replied.

"Good girl!" Christine replied, laughing. After wiping her tears and calming herself down. Christina and Drew started laughing.

"Thanks for the talk, guys. We will talk tomorrow." Christine said.

"Anytime, love." Christina said.

"Remember this, we are a family." Drew added.

"You're right, Drew. Got to go make up with my sexy Irishman." Christine replied.

"Absolutely!" Christina replied. "We love you all!"

"Love you too!" Christine said. After their talk, Christine composed herself and went downstairs to see Sheamus laying on the couch. His eyes were red from crying. Seeing him like this broke her heart. After Wade's shocking revelation about him, she didn't know what to do. On one hand, she's hurt because Sheamus didn't tell her about his past. On the other hand, she's madly in love with the Irishman and does not want to lose him. Making her decision, she went to the couch, touched his face, and kissed him with every ounce of love and passion for him. Sheamus kissed her back passionately while bringing her on top of him. After a couple of minutes, they stopped kissing, gasping for air. Sheamus knew he has a lot of making up to do. With no words, he sat up, picked her up and went to the bedroom. Sheamus has one mission in his mind, to give his woman everything she wants and much more.
