A/N: I realize her name is actually Ginevra but I changed it to go with the song. : )

Meet Virginia

Harry Potter sat on the ledge of a window in the astronomy tower, legs hanging down on the outside of the window. He had his twelfth cigarette of the day to his lips and Virginia Weasley's pale freckled arms wrapped around his waist as she stood behind him, chest pressed to his back and chin on his shoulder. Her elbow length straight red hair blew in wild wisps around them in the wind and her t-shirt hung loose off her body. An enchanted radio was playing in the corner and they both smiled softly as the song changed. The familiar first chords of 'Meet Virginia' by Train carried around the room and Harry turned his head toward Ginny and kissed her just under her ear as she began to mouth the words to the song.

She doesn't own a dress
Her hair is always a mess,
You catch her stealin' she won't confess
She's Beautiful.

Smokes a pack a day, oh wait,
That's me, but anyway
She doesn't care a thing
About that, hey,
She thinks I'm beautiful
Meet Virginia

Harry wondered breifly, as he often did, if whoever had written the song was a wizard. The likeness of the song to him and Ginny was amazing. Of course there were a few differences. If the song was actually based on them, it couldn't say daddy works in misuse of muggle artifacts, mama's in the order of the pheonix, her brother studies dragons in wizarding romania; muggles listened to it and plus it wouldn't fit right. Maybe it was a weird coincidence.

Ginny caught a glimpse of her watch, 11:47PM, and let go of Harry taking his hand and lacing her fingers with his. "It's way past curfew." Harry came back in from the widow ledge and walked with her towards the stairs without answering; words weren't much need with them. "Coffee first?" The song had reminded her that she'd been craving some.

"Mmm." Harry nodded and they headed to the kitchen. They left there with only two cups of coffee and two muffins, though the house elves had tried to convince them to take much more, and walked back up to Gryffindor Tower silently. Ginny sat on the couch with her back to the armrest and one leg bent, leaning against the back of the couch. Harry installed himself between her legs with his head to her shoulder, back to her stomach and legs crossed at the ankles and stretched out in front of him over the opposite armrest. Ginny moved her other leg so it was slightly bent and lying atop Harry's and took a sip of her coffee. As they drank she ran her hand unconsciously through his messy jet black hair and he traced idle patterns on her leg.

They fell asleep that way that night (or morning rather), like they had many times before, after laying their empty coffee cups on the floor and sharing an early morning kiss.
