Last time we left off, Christine and Sheamus returned from their honeymoon in Ireland. Without further ado, here we go with Chapter 15.
Chapter 15
Few weeks later….
Christina's birthday is tomorrow and Drew is thinking about doing something special for her. He put his thinking cap on, figuring out what to do. While he was thinking, Christina was in Angela's room, breastfeeding her. At nine months old, she's getting big and beautiful every day. She cannot wait for her to turn one year old and to plan a very special birthday party, which happens to fall on Drew's birthday as well. While breastfeeding her baby, Christina was thinking about her wedding day with Drew. Even though she was deep in her thoughts, her focus shifted on Angela after she finished breastfeeding her. She lightly burped her and laid her down in the crib, giving her a kiss.
She sat back down on the rocking chair. As she was looking at her engagement ring and wedding band, tears were starting to form. She didn't hear the footsteps of Drew coming into Angela's room and noticed her crying. Immediately, he went to his wife, wondering what was wrong.
"Sweetheart, what's the matter? Why are you crying?" Drew asked her, feeling worried.
"I'm very lucky and blessed to have you in my life with our daughter." Christina answered. "I'm crying because I am happy and blessed to be here with you and our family."
"Baby, you know I hate seeing you cry because it will make me cry." Drew stated. "But I will say this, ever since you confronted me at the campus, fate brought us together and I am eternally grateful for you breaking my walls down."
"Honey…" Christina started.
"Let me finish, love." Drew replied, while Christina nodded her head.
"When I got married to that woman the first time, I was young and naïve. My career took a turn for the worst after the divorce and the false accusations about me. I never recovered from that. After I got fired from WWE, I felt like giving up, went to drinking about five to seven days a week. I looked myself at the mirror and knew that I had to reinvent myself and get back to where I wanted to be." Drew told her.
"Oh my God Drew! I never knew you was drinking so heavily. You went through so much with that bitch!" Christina said, angrily.
"I know my love but with you by my side, nothing will ever break us apart." Drew said.
"I just want to find that skank and beat the hell out of her for breaking your heart." Christina replied.
"Sweetheart, as much as I would love to see you kick her ass, it's not worth it." Drew told her.
"I know, honey." Christina replied. "It hurts me to hear about you going through so much, especially drinking alcohol every day. I'm very happy you stopped."
"Me too, my love." Drew told her. "I will never go back down that road again. If I did, I will regret it for the rest of my life. I cannot afford to lose you and Angela."
"Honey, that will never happen. I'll go to war with anyone who would even dare come between us." Christina told Drew.
"I love you so much!" Drew replied.
"I love you more, my handsome Scottish Warrior." Christina said.
Drew and Christina stood up, started kissing each other passionately for a few minutes. Drew broke the kiss and looked at his wife, seeing the love and admiration he has for her and vice versa.
"Can I ask you something, my love?" Drew asked.
"Ask away, my darling." Christina replied.
"What do you want for your birthday?" Drew asked her.
"I really don't want anything for my birthday, baby. I got everything I need, right here." Christina replied.
"We will see about that, love." Drew said, winking at her.
"Damn it, honey. You know what your wink does to me." Christina replied.
"Amongst other things." Drew said, smirking. "How do you think we conceived Angela?"
"Point taken, baby." Christina replied.
"Why don't we get some sleep baby?" Drew suggested.
"You have read my mind, honey. Will you come join me?" Christina said.
"In a few minutes, my love. Got to take care of some things." Drew told her.
"Okay honey, I'll be waiting for you." Christina replied.
Drew gave his wife a sweet kiss and lead her to their bedroom so she can go to sleep. He went downstairs and called Sheamus to see if everyone can come together to plan a surprise birthday party for her.
"Hey fella! What's up?" Sheamus answered the phone.
"Big man, I know you and the misses have just come back from your honeymoon, but I need your help." Drew told him.
"What you need?" Sheamus asked.
"Christina's birthday is tomorrow, and I need all of you to help me set up a surprise birthday party for her." Drew answered.
"Absolutely! We would be happy to help!" Sheamus said, happily.
"I knew I can count on you, even though you tend to be a pain in the arse sometimes." Drew said, jokingly.
"Same goes to you, fella." Sheamus replied, laughing.
"Relay the message to everyone." Drew added.
"I will! In fact, I'll tell the girls to take her shopping so we can come over and set everything up at your house." Sheamus suggested.
"Perfect!" Drew agreed. "I bet my wife will add more shoes to her collection."
"Knowing her, she will." Sheamus replied, laughing.
"Thank you again, brother. Love you." Drew said.
"Love you too, brother." Sheamus replied. Drew hanged up the phone, went upstairs to their bedroom and sees his beautiful wife sleeping soundly on their bed. He joined her, kissed her cheek, and fell fast asleep, knowing tomorrow she will receive a nice birthday surprise.
