The worlds of two
In the aftermath of what had been a swift conflict between Elsa and a leopard for Jack's life, it was Elsa who claimed victory over the rival predator. With all her greatest might and her iron tooth, the wild women had come to over power the spotted night stalker and had driven her blade into the neck of the beast. The leopard now laid dead upon the jungle floor, sparing Jack from a grizzling fate of death. However even now his life still remained at risk, for other predators still lurk within the jungle and would attack if given the opportunity.
For the sake of her acclaimed mate, Elsa fled into the deep jungle with Jack in search of a place where they could be safe. Carrying an unconscious Jack along side her, she trekked through the lust and fertile flora as fast as she could be allowed to with the weight of his slumbering body. He was far from unbearable to carry as it was far from overpowering to the wild women's strength, though it was enough for them to be moving on such a slow paste.
Elsa groaned as he pulled Jack along.
"We can't keep going like this." She said to herself.
"I need to find a way we cane go faster, at this rate we're sure to be caught by another predator."
It was then that Elsa too sight to the tree tops above, by which causing an idea to erupt into her mind. The one swift way they could was if they took to the air. They would be too quick and untouchable to anyone from there.
"The trees might be my best bet." Elsa insisted to herself.
"I'll be able to take to the vines and we'll go a lot faster!"
Elsa came before the tree, where she first bent down which caused Jack's body come over her shoulders and lifted him up off the ground. She then proceeded to climb up into the canopy above, competing against the weight of Jack upon her shoulders.
"Come on." she encouraged himself, trying to climb with Jack.
"Just a few more."
using every ounce of strength she had, the climb came to be only a sort while as it was that she came up into the high top of the tree. It was there in between where the branches had sprouted in opposite ways, that Elsa came to set Jack down off her shoulders and held him close to her side. A brief groan escaped from his lips.
"Hang on, Jack." she said.
"I'll find us somewhere safe we can be."
Elsa looked ahead of her, grabbing a vine in front of her before she leaped from the tree. Holding Jack close to her side, she hung from the vine as they soured swiftly though the tree tops. In the following instant of coming to the next vine, Elsa as quickly as a venomous mamba strikes, she released her single grip and grasped the next vine. An attempt which she had pulled off may times in the past, although she was far from being considered skillful at it.
The wild women continued on with her betrothed mate, going on further into the jungle.
Kristoff and Tadashi emerged so abruptly outside from the entrance of their tent, dressing themselves along the way. Kristoff leaped upon his one free foot, trying to slip his other leg into his cargo pants before pulling them up all the way. After he strapped on his belt, the two came to find Anna, Hans, North, Tooth, Ingrid, Mattias and the escorts standing outside as well. All of which were looking toward the jungle that stood before their camp site.
"Hey Anna, what's going on?" Kristoff asked, as he and Tadashi walked over to the others.
"What was that noise?"
Anna shook her head, shrugging.
"I don't know." Anna said.
She glanced back to her Aunt and Uncle, who were standing behind her.
"Uncle North, do you know what that was?" she asked.
"I cannot say for sure." He answered, shaking his head.
"In all our years exploring the jungle, I've never heard anything like it."
"It doesn't sound like any animal I've studied before." Ingrid insisted, turning to them.
With the confusion of their guides, there was a very uneased felling that swept upon the three. Even with the ones the ones who knew the area well and the animals that thrived around them, the noise had come to prove to be strange to them as if was for the three friends. There was already enough for them to be concerned about, from lions, tigers, leopards, pythons and even crocodiles. Now there was some other animal they may not know that they may need to watch out for.
True that it may not be a threat and could possibly be a herbivore of some kind. But they were unwilling to take that slightest of chances.
"We should probably do a perimeter check." Hans insisted, looking back at the group.
"If that's some kind of predator, we need to take extra pro-cations and make sure it's nowhere near the camp."
"I'm with Fortrume," Matiias insisted upon Hans's suggestion.
"We can't afford to take that risk, not with how many people are in the camp. Hopefully if we're lucky, the thing may have just wandered off someplace else."
"Bark!"
"Bark!"
The group turned and saw her walking along the bordering line that separated the clearing and the jungle. She was barking toward the tropical forest with slight whimpers to follow afterwards. All the while, Balto came up beside her and tried to help calm her down.
"Jenna?" Anna said, curiously.
"What's the matter, girl?"
Hans came up beside her.
"What is it?" Hans asked, curiously.
"I don't know," she said.
"She never acts like this, unless..."
Anna paused for a moment. Back home in San-Francisco, Jenna would usually act out whenever Jack had been away from the house for so long. Though as it was that her older brother came to mind, Anna turned back to the others. She noticed that Tadashi and Kristoff was here, as well her Aunt, Uncle, Mattias and Ingrid. Everyone was here except...
"Wait a minute!" She asked, glancing to Kristoff and Tadashi.
"Where's Jack?"
The two squinted their eyes, curiously. They then glanced back toward the campsite.
"Jack?" Kristoff called out.
"Jack?"
"He doesn't seem to be here." Ingrid said, turning back to Anna.
"He wasn't in the tent when we woke up." Kristoff pointed out.
"We just assumed he was out here with you guys."
"I saw him out here with Balto," Mattias pointed out.
"But that was while ago."
"He probably went out into the jungle to take some pictures." Tadashi theorized, knowing that it was a common thing for Jack to do.
"Well if he did, he's been gone a while." Mattias pointed out.
By Tadashi's description to what could be the reason to his nephews sudden disappearance, North came to receive very familiar and very frightening memories. All of this came to resemble what had happened on their last visit, when Jack ran off into the jungle and was lost for an entire night. Only now with the animal that lurked nearby the came that he couldn't decipher of where it was predator or prey, the danger was a step closer to Jack then he was. Something that North couldn't stand by and allow.
"I'm going to look for him." He said, making his way over to the tent.
"I'll come too." Anna insisted, before she follow after her uncle.
Though her sudden volunteering when heard by Hans, cause him to turn to her and grasped her shoulder.
"Wait, not you, Anna." he said, fairing for her safety.
"It's too dangerous."
"I'll be fine, Hans." She insisted to him.
"Uncle North can steer us away from trouble."
"Well I'm sending some of my men with you." Hans stated, knowing it to be more safer for her, her uncle and her older brother.
Kristoff groaned and rolled his eyes.
"We'll come too." Ingrid volunteered herself and Mattias.
"That way we'll be able to cover more ground. Also we should bring Balto with us, he'll be able to track down Jack."
Seeing that Hans wasn't gong with her, Kristoff knew he had to take the opportunity he would not.
"Count me in!" Kristoff said raising his right hand in the air.
Anna turned to Tadashi.
"Tadashi?" She asked, curious as to where he stood in the plan.
"I'll say here with Hans." Tadashi said.
"We'll get everything set up here by the time you guys get back."
With that, North who stood before the unzipped entrance of his tent clapped his two large hands together.
"Alright then, it's settle!" North said.
"Everyone grab everything you need and be quick about it."
Elsa continued swinging deeper into the jungle for a time, carrying an unconscious Jack in her arms. Right at the apex of her swing, Elsa released her grip on the vine and descended down to the jungle floor below. Through that short remaining time, she scooped Jack into both arms right before the time she was to land. Like the lions who had adopted her, she landed swiftly and perfectly upon her feet.
"Another perfect landing!" She said, proudly that she had pulled off such a trick.
She looked down to Jack, who was still laying in slumber even with her sudden outburst of her voice.
"Still asleep, huh?" She said to her mate.
It seemed the leopard had struck her harder then what she had thought and it may be some time before he would ever wake again. A time which they would have to wait some place safe, where he would be able to recover.
"There has to be somewhere we can be." she said, as she looked up from her mate.
The wild women gazed about her surroundings, looking about for a place they could stay for the time being. She had never been to this part of the jungle before, so as expected it was hard for her to navigate her way. Though her searching gaze came to set upon a cave entrance embedded in a small clearing below the high standing hill just ahead of them. She gasped and smiled with anticipation.
"There!" she said.
Elsa made her way to the clearing, carrying Jack along.
As she came before the entrance of the den with Jack, Elsa came to a halt right at the open gaping hole that lead to the inside. She did not dare to enter inside as of yet, but rather she first stood at attention and looked about of what was within the cave. Though her sight all but showed shadows and stone, the wild women was hardly convinced of whether it to be safe as it appeared. She sniffed the air, trying to gain a scent of any predator and the stench they used to mark their dens.
A common thing she had been taught by Bagheera was to always use her sense of smell. It had proved useful in many occasions such as hunting and tracking, but so too did it prove useful when it came to knowing when you had crossed into another's territory. An action that could be prove to be dangerous to one if not well acquainted with the one he did not know.
However in this moment of time, there was little to be concerned about. The wild women couldn't pick up on anything that resembled the scent of any rival predator, nor what they would use to mark their territory.
"It doesn't look like anyone's claimed this as their den." Elsa said to herself.
"I think it should be safe for us."
Reassured by all her senses, Elsa proceeded to carry her mate inside the cave. She walked to the very back of the den, where she set Jack down upon the ground. As she came down upon her knees beside him, Elsa hovered over the young man. She reached out and cupped his cheek, turning his head around to where they faced one another. The wild women found herself just staring down at her soon to be mate, basking at how handsome and attractive Jack had become.
The sight of which caused her to smile with her both her eyes gaping so widely open, her blood rushing through her veins as swiftly as the water of the river.
"Jack." she said in such a small whispering tone.
"I can't believe it's you. You really came back to me!"
For so long she had been subjected to the burden of being the only of her kind, she finally felt like she had been shown mercy. The one who she longed to have for so long, who had been kept away from her for so many years had finally returned to her. At sight alone, he looked to be the perfect mate for her from what she saw of him so far. He was human just like her, an obvious thing to have in common. But he was also looked to be strong, something which all males of the pride He may prove to be the one who would stay by her side and grant her the love she had seen from both Simba and Nala.
She leaned down and nuzzled him under his chin, purring like the jungle cat she was raised to be. As she leaned her head up, she took but another moment to look upon her chosen mate. the wild women lowered her gaze down from his body, till she came to see the camera that hung from his neck. Curiously Elsa picked up the strange object in both hands, turning it around as she took in all the details. She did indeed know what it was but never had she seen a camera like the one Jack had. She turned it to where the lens was facing her, to which she leaned in and looked inside through the glass.
Though it was then that her left hand clamped down on the button, causing the flash light to pop up and go off. Elsa gasped, dropping it down upon Jack as she back away. She held her arms over her eyes, covering them for a short period of time. Elsa was soon to look back up, opening her eyes again with color spots intervening her sight. She looked back down at the camera, to which she hissed at it and knocked it away to Jacks side.
She then looked back down at Jack and noticed something was sticking out of his pocket. She reached down and pulled out to reveal a picture of Jack who was standing beside a few other people. An older man with a mustache, a women with glasses, a girl two years younger then Jack who's hair was made into pig tails, a twelve year old girl with blonde hair and a twelve year old boy with brown hair standing beside Jack, with his arm around him.
She gazed up at Jack.
"Jack, is this your family?" she asked.
She glanced back down at the photo, looking about the people inside who looked to back at her. She looked at Anna, who stood on the other side of their parents. She was but the only one besides Jack who she recognized, for she resembled that little girl with pig tails she saw back when she had first stumbled upon their camp. She thought back to when she and Diata were escorting Jack back to his family, recalling that jack had mentioned a name of his younger sister.
It was a mere second of thought before it had finally come to her.
"Anna!" she said
It was right then Elsa turned back to the entrance, gazing out to the jungle outside. A moment which was short as she then looked back at Jack. For any lioness with her mate, it was left to her to hunt for their next meal.
Seeing that he wasn't going to get up anytime soon, it seemed to be the best opportunity she had to go and gather something they could eat when he did come through.
Elsa stood up, keeping her eyes upon Jack. It was right then that she turned and walked toward the entrance of their den. As she came back to stand in the entrance, she heard a faint groan coming from behind. She looked back at Jack, noticing a slight flinch come from his body. Though still he remained deep entranced in his slumber. Elsa gave but a slight sigh of relief, wanting for him to rest longer before she returned.
"Just stay there, Jack." She said.
"I'll be back with some food for us."
With that, she turned and dashed off into the jungle.
Zazu was souring high above the jungles far beyond the eastern border. He had finished his annual inspection of the kingdom and reported his finding to Mufassa. It was right after that he flew off to do the favour that was asked of his by Simba, to go and check upon Elsa in the far eastern part of the jungle.
"I can't believe they talked me into this." He said to himself, feeling so anxious that he had gone against one of the most vital of laws.
"This is going against regulation. If Mufassa found out about this arne run, I'll be out of a job!"
Gazing down to the jungle floor below, the majordomo kept a sharp eye out for Elsa. Placing his wings above his eyes, he looked left and right for any sign of the wild women.
"Oh Elsa where are you?" The bird said, straighten out his wing to his side.
Elsa moved swiftly through the jungle in search of food for her and Jack. Her trek lasted only for a short time, as she came into a small clearing where she found several banana trees. The wild women stopped right at the sight of the green and yellow fruit, seeing that she had come to find something editable for her and her mate.
"These should be more then enough." she said to herself.
"I better hurry and get back to him"
Elsa pulled out her knife from the side of her loincloth as she came up to the tree. She then proceeded to cut the stem that held a bunch of them together.
Zazu flew upon a small opening in between the massive crowd of trees below, to which he came to spot a very familiar sight. It was there that he came to see Elsa, who was continued to cut down some bananas from the small green, large leafed trees below. The majordomo gasped, stopping himself.
"There she is!" He said both relieved and also surprised.
"It seems that Simba was telling the truth. What would she be doing all the way out here?"
It was by the next following moment that Elsa had finished cutting the stem and clutter of bananas fell before her. She came to scoop them into her arms before she turned and fled into the jungle.
"Now where is she off to?" Zazu asked, himself, raising his eyebrow.
Zazu then flew after the wild women.
It wasn't long for Elsa before she and finally returned to the cave, where she came to find Jack still fast asleep. She in turn came to chuckle.
"Nala was right." She said to herself.
"Males are the longest of sleepers."
The wild women entered into the den, bringing in the banana's she got from the clearing. All the while she was unaware that Zazu perched himself on a branch behind her. Her peered down at her and watched as she entered the cave.
"Looks like she's claimed her own den." Zazu said, from what appeared to his sight.
"Simba and Bagheera may want to hear about."
He turned, spreading his wings before he leaped off the branch. He then flew back the other way.
"I'm back, Jack." She said, coming to his side.
"I've brought you some food."
Elsa kneeled down and set down the bananas beside him. With the fruit she had brought back, he would be able to quench his hunger by the time he was to wake. Though for now, she though best that she should freshen up a bit. She had spent all day in the sun and swinging from vines, the dirt and sweat had all but built up upon her body. As she stood up, it was then once more that she turned back to the entrance, noticing a sound coming from a very near distance. The sound resembled that of a rushing stream which ran off a high cliff and it seemed to be coming nearby. She wouldn't have to stray far from the den.
"That sounds like a waterfall." she thought to herself with anticipation.
"And it's close by."
Elsa walked out through the entrance, where she gazed to her right and saw the waterfall passed a few trees.
She the sniffed herself and caught whiff of the stench that came from her body, causing her to cringe and shake her head repulsively. She was in defiant need for a wash.
"I think I could use a bath right now." She said.
Although she was hesitant to leave Jack, she knew it would not be such a concern. With the waterfall close by, she would be able to keep watch over the den. If there was any problem lurking by, she would be quick to act upon the matter and protect her soon to mate.
Elsa walked over to the water fall, coming to stand upon the banks of the pool below the high cliff. It was there she reached back to the strap of her top and undid the knot that held it in place over her breasts, before she set it over the branches of a nearby bush. She then reached down to her left hip and undid the tie of her loincloth, placing it with her top.
Elsa the stepped into the water, coming underneath the falling water and began bathing within it's cool embrace.
