The trek back to camp by the escort of the Mercenaries was one of silence. Walking between the armed Mercenaries, Tooth held Anna close to her as she leaned into her aunt's embrace. All the while, continuing to gaze forward past their captors. Peering through the jungle which lied ahead, resisting any such urge that would lead the mercenaries to suspect that they were looking for a way of escaping again.

Tadashi was trudging through the foliage behind them. He glanced down to his vest pocket, where he saw the top half of his phone poking out. Though he had little time to think about it before being nudged forward by the Mercenary behind him.

"Keep moving!" the Mercenary exclaimed.

The Mercenary shoved him forward once more, pushing him with the butt of his AK.

"Okay, Okay." Tadashi insisted to them.

He then turned and came up behind Tooth and Anna. He glanced back at the Mercenaries behind them before turning forward. He glanced down at his phone before slipping it down into his pocket.

It was then that they heard Jenna whimpering. Anna turned forward and saw one of the mercenaries pulling on her bandana.

"Hey!" Anna exclaimed.

"Stop it, you're hurting her!"

She tried to run to Jenna's aid. Only to be held back by her aunt. The man glanced back to her.

"Keep your mouth shut!" He said.

Anna glared at the man. He then turned forward, continuing to pull Jenna along. Jenna turned back to her, whimpering as if she was trying to call her for help. Anna stared back at her in contempt. Seeing her dog being dragged by some hired soldier of her now ex-boyfriend. But was helpless to do anything about it.

Anna glanced to the man walking beside them, staring down at the AK he was holding. She was tempted by the idea of taking his gun and using against the other mercenaries. If not to create an opening for her, her Aunt, Tadashi and Jenna to escape.

Tooth glanced down to her niece, seeing her staring at the man's gun. Knowing what her Aunt may be thing, she couldn't allow her the escalate things. Even if they could, the other mercenaries were watching them, waiting for any attempt of them to escape.

"No don't." she whispered to h er.

Anna turned and looked up to her Aunt. Tooth shook her head to her, hoping to bring sense to any reckless idea of escape she might have. She narrowed her eyes, knowing that her aunt was right. While there was nothing she wanted more then to find a way for her family and friends to escape. It would be reckless for them to try anything.

Right now, the best thing they could do was go along with it.

It was right at that moment that they heard a strange motorized sound in the distance. It sounded like a helicopter. Anna peered forward, squinting her eyes curiously.

"Do you hear that?" she asked, glancing at Tadashi.

Tadashi nodded his head to her as they peered forward into the jungle.

Coming out into the clearing where they had made camp, it was there they mercenaries lead them toward Hans's tent. Walking across the clearing, it was then that Anna took notice of the several mercenaries standing guard along the outskirts of the camp. She didn't recognize them as the ones that they met back at the airport when they had arrived.

She leaned back to Tadashi.

"I don't remember seeing them before." she said, glancing at him.

Tadashi nodded his head, sharing the same suspicion as her. He then glanced forward and stared ahead.

"I think that would explain those helicopters we've been hearing." He said, glancing at her.

Anna turned and saw a black helicopter with the logo of Pitch Black Industries over the side. All but confirming everything they had found out.

They came over to the main tent, where two men were standing guard. The lead mercenary paused as he glanced back to them.

"Wait here!" he instructed them.

He then turned and entered through the entrance of the tent. Anna glanced up and her aunt, who looked down at her. Both of them with the underlining feeling of worry and contempt. What were they going to do with them?

Tadashi glanced around at the Mercenaries, making sure that none of them were looking. He then reached down into his vest's breast pocket and brought up his phone. He then slid right on the screen and brought up his camera. Pressing the record button, he slipped it down into his pocket, making sure the camera was just above his pocket to record what was going to happen.

It was then that Hans emerged from the entrance of the tent. Pushing aside the door flap, he had a smug look on his face at the sight of Anna. Their attempt to escape from him is all but worthless in the grand scheme of things. They had already figured out that he had accounted for every detail if they ever learned the truth. Even if they could go to the authorities and prove that he was the hole in his families company, he ensured that they would all go down with him.

"Oh, Anna," he said, shaking his head.

"Did you really think you could run from this. And even after knowing that I ensured there would be no way out for any of you."

He came up to Anna, staring down at her with a cocky grin. Only for Anna to glare up at him.

"I mean, I was really hoping that it didn't come to this," He said with a laugh.

"I'll admit, I kind of like you. But you all found out way too much."

"Why are you doing this?" Tooth asked.

"Please just let us go, we won't tell anyone!"

Hans merely smirked at Tooth's pleads.

"Oh, I wish I could," He insisted in a mocking tone.

"Really I do. But I'm afraid your all too valuable to us."

Anna squinted her eyes, curiously to Hans. After he had one of his goons try and kill them earlier. And now all of a sudden they were valuable to him?

"What are you talking about?" Anna asked.

It was then they heard static over the radio on Hans's side. It was then he heard the voice of one of his men come up.

"Mr. Fortrome?"

Hans reached down and picked up his radio. He then pressed the side button and held it up.

"Go ahead." he said.

"We found the others," he claimed,

"By the looks of things, they headed west. We tried to capture them, but one of them was armed."

Hans squinted his eyes in confusion.

"Heading west?" Hans said.

He glanced up at Anna, Tooth and Tadashi. The fact that they would go off into the jungle like how they did was absurd to say the least. Even after learning that he had a contingency plan for if they were to ever learn the truth. What good would it do them?

Unless...

Hans paused for a moment as he then realized. He glanced back to Anna, Tooth and Tadashi, before giving a sly grin. Already they had proven they could be useful as now another opportunity had presented itself.

He pressed the side button and held up the radio.

"Copy that," He said.

"Keep following them. We'll join you shortly."

He lowered his radio, staring at Anna with that sly grin.

"I think we can persuade them otherwise." He claimed.

The hunting party gathered below at the edge of the jungle. All as the rest of the pride retired to the den for the night ahead. That was all except Elsa, who was worried for the danger that was to come. Torn between her love for Jack and the loyalty to the pride. Standing over one of the cliffs along the pathway, she gazed below to the jungle's edge. It was there she saw lionesses participating in the night hunt. As two others came down the pathway, they then turned and went off into the jungle toward the hunting grounds.

She had heard them earlier, talking about the danger of man. Much like her, they worried if man would come. Some of them even said that they should hand Jack over to them. Though that was not something that she could allow. For the man she loved to be killed by his own people.

Nor that of his friends and family.

She turned and looked back at Jack, who was pacing back and forth behind her. For what troubled him she could only guess that it was that his family was in danger. His own people had tried to kill them both. And now his friends and family might be in the same trouble that they were.

She gazed up at Jack and came up to him.

"Jack?" she asked.

He then paused, glancing back at her.

"I can't stop thinking about them." he insisted to Elsa.

"I know." she claimed to her mate.

"What if their in danger," Jack said, worryingly.

"They could already be..."

He paused, unable to consider the possibility. He closed his eyes, feeling the tears seeping from his guilt and sadness. He turned away, glancing to the side, sullenly.

"This is all my fault." he sobbed.

Jack closed his eyes, clenching his fist tight. He bowed his head, letting his tears seep down his eyes. The promise he made to his family of a better life for them, the good he thought he would do. And now his sister, his Aunt and Uncle and his two closest friends were all paying for it. If they haven't already.

"I put everyone in danger," he said, sullenly.

"And for what, some medicine plant and old ruins."

He sighed narrowing his head.

"Professor Callahan was right," Jack said.

"We never should have come here."

Elsa felt her heart shatter upon hearing what Jack had said. She came up to her mate, placing her hands over his shoulder. She leaned against him as she tried to comfort her mate.

"No, you can't think like that, Jack." Elsa claimed to him.

"None of this is you fault. You are not responsible for the actions of your people."

Jack tilted his head. He may not be responsible for the actions of Hans and his men. But he was the one that allowed them to be involved with the expedition. Only for their true motivations to be revealed to them back in the jungle. And for all he knows, Anna and the others could be in danger or worse.

Laying her head against his muscular forearm, Elsa narrowed her eyes. Seeing Jack lose all that he loved, paying for the same crime as her father had. She wanted to help him more then anything. But she could not go against Mufasa's wishes. And if anything was to happen to her or anyone else in the pride, she would never be able to forgive herself.

Elsa closed her eyes, shaking her head at how selfish that sounded. Having to have placed her feelings above her family and now her mate. What was wrong with her?

Elsa glanced down to her side. She then cocked her head, peering down at the small picture that was pulled out from the side of her loincloth. She reached down her hand and pulled out the photo, gazing down at the family he feared to lose. She turned back to Jack, handing him the photo. Jack turned to her before noticing the photo she was holding.

Jack widened his eyes. He took the photo between his thumb and index finger, holding it before him.

"Where did you get this?" Jack asked, glancing at her.

He then cocked his head, peering down at his family. The one of which he promised to give a whole new life too, now it felt as if he had let them all down. That he had let his little brother down. He narrowed his eyes.

"I thought I was doing the right thing," Jack then said.

"I thought that I could be someone my little brother could aspire to be. That my mom could be proud of."

Hearing him speak of his family, it all but confirmed what Nala had been saying. What she had wanted for them, it would mean taking him from his own family. Robbing him of the conforms of his own world, while subjecting him to hers.

He then glanced to the side.

"But I was only following in your father and my uncle's footsteps. " he said, dropping his hand to the side.

Elsa shook her head as came up in front of Jack.

"No, Jack," she insisted to him, placing her hand over his cheek.

"Your are nothing like my father. You haven't made the same mistake as he did."

Jack shook his head.

"Not yet anyway." He insisted to her.

Elsa frowned, seeing as she saw the look of despair and helplessness over Jack's face. She narrowed her eyes, knowing that was true. And it was her that was preventing him from saving his family. Her fear. Her selfishness.

No...

She couldn't let this happen again. Not to Jack. Nor to her family. Even if it meant she would go against the wishes of Mufasa.

Elsa glanced up to Jack before giving a determined look to her mate.

"No." she insisted to him.

"Your not."

Jack glanced up to her, curiously.

"What?" he asked, curiously.

"We're not going to let anything happen to them," she insisted to her mate.

"We're going back to find them!"

Jack widened his eyes. Both were relieved that they were going back to find his friends and family. But I was also concerned to say the least. Considering she had met her family, the mere thought of putting Elsa in any such danger was now hard to swallow.

"Elsa, wait," He said, placing his arms over her shoulders.

"I can't ask you to do this. I don't want to put you in danger."

Elsa smiled at her mate, appreciating his concern. She shook her head, placing her hands over his chest.

"I don't care how dangerous it is," she insisted to her mate.

"I won't let you do this on your own."

Jack shook his head.

"I can't lose you too." He insisted, tearfully.

Elsa narrowed her eyes, feeling her tears seep down the sides of her face. She looked up at him, reaching up her hand and placed it over the side of his face. Feeling the touch of the jungle's woman's firm yet soft hand, Jack gazed up into Elsa's beautiful blue eyes.

Elsa then closed the distance between them, pressing her soft lips against his. Jack closed his eyes, leaning into the kiss as he held her close in his arms. The kiss lasted for but an instant before they parted, looking each other in the eyes.

"I love you." Elsa said.

Jack smiled down at her.

"I love you, too." He said back.

Elsa's hands slid down Jack's muscular arm, taking hold of his hand. She then turned to the path behind her, pulling him along.

Simba came over the edge of the ledge. It was there that he saw Elsa making her way down the path with Jack. The Lion prince frowned. Both concerned with where they were going. But also in suspicion of the young make with he. He glanced back at Nala and Diata who came up next to him.

"Where is she going?" she asked.

Nala turned back down at Elsa and Jack as they disappeared into the jungle. She stared worryingly, having a grave feeling of where they were going.

The threat of man was coming. Sooner than what Mufasa and the others thought. Bagheera could feel it within his wounded heart. Laying restfully atop a branch high in the trees above, his head conformably atop his paws. Yet he laid with both his eyes, peering openly into the dusk. The fear of his past is more prevalent then it has been before. Having to have endured their cruelty as a cub.

He knew as well as anybody that man would be hunting this very night. But it would not be for the reasons that all the free people did so.

Nor was it that they sought them.

Rather, it was one of their own that they hunted. Both Elsa and the white maned young male that she had mated with. The idea that man would hunt their own was one strange to the free people. But it was not for the night stalker. For he had seen it himself. The day that he was freed of the cage he was born in. When he saw... her... for the first time.

Now he worried the same would befall upon Elsa as well. But for what reason they hunted for her, he did not know. Nor why they would the young male as well.

He cocked his head, glancing back in the direction of Pride's den.

"Little sister," He said without the need of words.

"I hope you are prepared for whatever you have done."

As the panther stared off into the distance, the silence of the jungle was then broken by the rustling sound below. Bagheera widened his eyes as he glanced to the jungle below, where he noticed an animal that he had never seen in the jungle. A grey Jackal of some kind, sniffing ground below. When he suddenly paused for a moment. Leaning up his head, he peered forward as he sniffed the air. Shifting his gaze to the tree above.

Bagheera squinted his eyes, tilting his head to the strange Jackal. It was then that he began to growling, bearing his canines. It was now clear that he had caught a whiff of his scent and that this was a warning display. Was it that he had a mate and cubs nearby?

It was a shock when he saw three men emerge from the brush behind him. Bagheera stared wide eyed at the sight of the man here.

"What is it, Balto?" Mattias asked, as he came up behind him.

Balto did not respond to him. He kept staring up at the tree above. Much like how he did hen ever he sensed a nearby predator. Recognizing this, Mattias glanced up at the tree branch above. Only to see that there was nothing there.

"What is it?" North asked, coming up from behind.

Mattias shook his head as he stood up.

"It's nothing," Mattias insisted, glancing back at him.

"Whatever it was, it's gone now."

Kirstoff came up from behind, staring back the way they came. He then glanced down at North's riffle, which he was holding up like he was ready to shoot.

"Hey, put that down," he said.

"The last thing we need is to let them know where we are!"

"Kids right, we can't risk it." Mattias agreed.

North lowered his rifle, knowing they were right. Though even still, he couldn't shake the thought that a predator could be lurking nearby. His stern, blue eyes scanned the foliage above. But even still he saw nothing then the shadows and bushes of leaves. Whether or not a predator was somewhere nearby, they shouldn't stick around here for long. It was getting dark. Which meant that the predators would be hunting at this time.

"We should keep moving," he advised.

"The sooner we find Jack and the girl, the better."

Mattias nodded their head to them, turning back to Balto.

"You heard the man, Balto," Mattias said.

"Where are we headed?"

Balto turned forward as he lowered his muzzle to the ground. Sniffing the dirt beneath his paws with his heightened sense of smell, he regained the scent of the lions as well as Jack's and Elsa's. It still seemed to be leading them deeper into the jungle. He glanced back at Mattias North and Kristoff.

"They went this way!" He said in his own language.

He then turned and scurried off into the jungle as he was followed by the three men. Bagheera slowly emerged from the shadows above. He then went the other way as they passed under him and headed off into the jungle. They must be the ones that were after Elsa and the white maned. And they are following the nose of a grey jackal.

"How strange," The panther said.

"Does man now follow the Jackal to their query?"

Though upon a second glance, Bagheera then noticed they were heading toward the outer plains. The pride would be hunting at this time. They will be running right in the middle of them. And it was not long ago that Zazu went north to inspect the border. He had to warn them before it was too late.

Bagheera stood up and leaped to the next branch, following them into the jungle.

Emerging from the jungle, Balto out to the edge of the plains. He then paused. Raising his head, Balto stared, wearing toward the tall grass. It was then that Mattias, North and Mattias emerged from the jungle behind him, where they found the husky hybrid standing. North then threw up his hand.

"Wait!" he said, glancing back at Mattias and Kristoff.

The two then paused behind him.

"What is it?" Kristoff asked, curiously.

"This is lion territory." Mattias claimed to him.

North slowly came up behind Balto, who glanced back to him. He gazed over the grasslands, recognizing it to be the territory of lions. Having been here before, he has had several encounters with them. And it was usually around this time that they would be out hunting. He and Tooth normally steered clear of this part of the jungle. As well as the villagers.

And now it seems like his Nephew and that Girl were somewhere out there. If he had to guess, at their den. And if this was where the lions were, it meant that their den was somewhere out in the plains.

"So now what?" Kristoff asked, glancing to North.

He squinted his eyes, scanning the tall grass. He then glanced back at Mattias and Kristoff.

"Stay close." He advised.

Turning forward, North held up his rifle as he and Balto walked forward into the tall grass. Mattias followed after, turning to Kristoff as he gestured for him to come. Kristoff glanced to North hesitantly.

"Uh, are we sure about this?" He asked as he followed after them.

Bagheera leaped atop a branch of a tree along the jungle's edge. He then gazed toward the plains, where he saw man making their way into the tall grass. Them panthers eyes squinted with suspicion and worry. Before slowly glancing off to the fields off to his left. It was there that he saw the hunting party, making their way toward them.

Bagheera then widened his eyes in worry.

"This is not good." He said.

North trudged ahead through the tall grass with his rifle in hand, glancing in every direction. He scanned the tall grass, searching for any lions that could be lurking nearby. But still he saw nothing. Nothing more then the soft evening wind brushing against the tall grass as they waved back an forth. Nor was there the sound that could indicate them stalking nearby. Nothing more then the silence of the coming night.

He turned forward to Balto, who continued following the scents through the grass. He seemed calmed for the most part. If any lions were nearby, he would have already caught a whiff of their scent or would have even heard them by now. They might be hunting far off in the plains.

Kristoff was trekking behind him and Mattias, brushing through the tall grass. All the while, he gazed out over the plains behind him. Keeping watch for any sign

"Uh, what are we doing exactly?" Kristoff asked, glancing back to North

"We look for a den." North insisted to him.

Kristoff paused for a moment.

"Den?" He asked, curiously.

"As in, the den of the lions that are could be stalking us right now?"

North paused for a moment, turned back to him.

"Yes." He said, nodding his head to him.

Kristoff stood there in the tall grass, dumbfounded and appalled. He couldn't be serious. They were going to look for the den of the lions that may be stalking them right now. Hoping that they would find Jack and that jungle girl.

"You got to be kidding me." He said, shaking his head.

There was a sudden rustling in the grass behind him. Kristoff froze for a moment. He glanced behind him, only to be met with the same clear open field as before. No sign of any lion or other predators. Nor of Hans's men.

"Hello?" he said, cocking his head.

Kristoff then heard it again. He cock his head to where he had heard it, where he saw the grass moving several feet from where he stood. Kristoff squinted his eyes, curiously. He then turned and slowly crept toward it.

"Jack," he asked, curiously.

"Jack, is that you?"

The grass continued rustling, as if some was moving toward him. Kristoff brushed aside the long grass as he then say what it was. And then froze, hearing a low growl.

"North!"

North, Mattias and Balto turned back at Kristoff, and saw him tumble backwards onto the ground. He then sauntered backwards as a lioness appeared from the tall grass, growling as she bared her large canines to him.

"Kristoff!" North said as he rushed to his aid.

Coming several feet from them, North raised his hunting rifle, aiming to the ground between them. No sooner, he then pulled the trigger and a loud bang echoed through the plains and beyond.

There was a sudden loud bang in the distance. Elsa and Jack both paused, gazing back in the direction it came. It sounded like a gun. But not like the ones that Hans's mercenaries used. But it was one that Elsa had heard before. Long ago when she had first met Jack. And when she had been burdened by the wound of man.

Even now, memories of that night came flooding back as that sound echoed in her mind.

"Oh no," Jack said, worryingly.

They heard it again. Elsa frowned. She then turned, taking several steps forward from Jack. her eyes peered off in the direction from which they heard it. It sounded as if it was coming from the...

Elsa widened her eyes.

"No..." Elsa then said

She then took off in the direction of which the gunshot had came. Jack glanced down to her.

"Elsa, Wait!" Jack said, reaching out to her.

But Elsa could not be reasoned with, nor convinced not to go. Not even by her own mate. Her family was in danger and there was nothing that deter her. Plowing through the foliage, sh e leaped up into the tree with cat-like reflexes. She climbed atop a branch high above, where she leaped forward and grabbed hold a nearby vine, swinging off through the jungle.

North continued to shoot at the lionesses, causing them them to scatter into the tall grass.

"Back!" He yelled, pushing his rifle forward.

"Back!"

He once more held up his gun and continued to fired at the lionesses.

Elsa leaped from one vine after another as swiftly as the Tumbili. Clinging hold of a vine as she soured effortlessly before grabbing another and continuing on. Whatever fear she may have felt before at the gunshot, replaced by the feral rage she felt of man bringing harm to her family. Giving the strength of which more mightier then that of a Gorilla or Elephant.

All the while, she could hear the thunderous sound of the gun becoming louder. The memories of that day continued to flash before her. That sound continued to linger in her mind, followed by flashes of that man long ago firing at her and her mother. And now man dared to bring harm upon her family once more. All the more enraging the jungle woman.

She would not allow it to happen.

Not again...

Elsa came to the edge of the jungle, where she landed atop the branch of tree. It was there the wild woman gazed over the plains, scanning the tall grass for the one who intruded upon their home. She heard the gun shot in the distance. Elsa gazed ahead, where she saw the hunting party was being attacked.

Elsa gasped. She leaped out of the tree and landed atop all fours. She the proceed to run off into the tall grass.

Most of the other lionesses turned and fled into the tall grass. As it was that the remaining few remaining followed after, North's gun once more went off. The bullet flung close to one of the lioness's shoulder, causing them to growl as they tumbled to the ground. She leaned off the ground, wincing from her wound.

North came up to the lioness, holding up his riffle at the lioness. Seeing the wound he had inflicted upon her, he knew he had to be cautious. A wounded animal was just as dangerous. Mattias came up next to him.

"North, stop!" He said, grabbing his shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

"Keeping us safe." North claimed to him.

"By firing off your gun," Mattias insisted.

"Those shots rang off for miles, those mercenaries could be nearby!"

The lioness once more growled, causing them to turn their attention back down to her. North held up his rifle, pointing it down at the lioness in case of any sudden movement.

"Easy, girl." he said.

Plowing through the tall grass, Elsa froze as she gasped in utter contempt. It was there she saw one of the lionesses of the hunting party laying over the ground, wounded. With the two responsible standing over her, one of them pointing their gun down at her. Though upon seeing who it was, the wild woman widened her eyes in complete shock.

It was him. The man who had shot at her and her mother. The one who had burdened her with the wound of man long ago.

Once more, Elsa felt her rage take over. Seeing the man who had done this to her, now he had harmed someone of her family. She growled, angrily before lunging forward toward them.

North continued to hold down his gun at the lioness, when he then glanced to side. Only to see something lung at him lioness, pushing the gun to the side before it went off. Elsa struggled with the white maned man, holding his gun off to the side. She then glanced back at the lioness.

"Run!" She exclaimed to her.

The lioness got back up as quickly as she could. She then turned and scurried off into the tall grass. Once she was out of sight, it was then that Elsa was thrown to the side by North. Causing her to roll over onto the grass before coming back over all fours. She gazed back up at North, who was now pointing his gun down at her. The same way he did long ago.

The sight of the wild woman was one of shock to North, who wondered if this was the one who took his nephew. If so, then was he somewhere nearby?

Elsa reached down to her side, drawing her knife from her side. She then growled up at North, who raised his head to her.

"Please..." he said.

"I don't want to hurt you."

Elsa did not listen. Rather his words further enraged her. She then instead lunged forward at North, swiping his blade at him. Both North and Mattias sauntered back from the wild woman, who continued swiping her knife at him. North continued to try and reason with the jungle woman.

"Please, stop!" North exclaimed as he tried to evade Elsa's dagger.

But Elsa continued to slash again and again. The man pleads unable to reach the wild woman, who was blinded by her rage. She raised her dagger in an attempt to stab North, only for him to block her by holding up her rifle. The two struggled with each other for a short while, before North shoved her back. Elsa sauntered backward several feet before she was caught by Mattias, who attempted to hold her back.

"Easy now," he said, wrapping her arms around her.

"Just settle down."

Elsa grabbed hold of the man's arm and bit down hard on it. Mattias cried out in pain before being flung over her shoulder, landing flat over his back.

Jack emerged from the jungle as he gazed out over the plains.

"Elsa!" he called out.

He then turned and heard voices off in the distance. It sounded like his uncle.

"Uncle North?" He said.

Jack then widened his eyes as the realization came to him.

"Oh no." He said.

Simba Nala and Diata emerged from the jungle, where they were met with the hunting party emerging from the tall grass. One of them limping as she was helped by another. Nala and Diata glanced at each other. Simba approached them.

"What happened?" He asked, curiously.

The lioness glanced up to the prince.

"It was Man!" She exclaimed to the prince.

"Man!" Simba exclaimed.

The mention of man in their hunter grounds brought forth the lion prince's stern gaze. What he knew would come from allowing man into the pride. Now his people have come in search of the white mane and Elsa.

Nala and Diata came up next to the prince.

"Is everyone alright?" Nala asked, curiously.

The lioness glanced up to the prince, nodding her head.

"We're fine," she reassured him.

"But Elsa is still back there!"

Diata widened her eyes, glancing off over the plains.

"Elsa!" She gasped.

Elsa continued to come at North with her dagger, slashing and swiping at him. All the while, North continued to evade her ever every attempt as best he could. But she was moving too fast. More so then for a man of his age. He struggled to keep up with her.

Just as he had avoided another attempt, Elsa swiped her dagger back around and slashed her blade across North's large arm. North cried out in pain, covering his hand over the bloody scar across his left arm. Just as he glanced up to the jungle woman, it was then Elsa pounced atop the large burly man. North was knocking atop his back, causing his rifle to be thrown from his hands.

Elsa stood over North, gazing down over him with eyes so enraged. Not just for the act he had committed but also for what he had done long ago. She then raised her dagger into the air and thrusted down upon it. Only for him to hold up his arms, blocking her in the nick of time. The two struggled with each other as North tried desperately to hold her back. But even still, Elsa continued to push forward, slowly breaking through the man's strength with his own.

Kristoff froze. He stared down at the jungle woman that was standing over North, attempting to stab him with a knife. All the while, he debated with himself of what to to. He couldn't just go running in. She would just turn her attention to him. But he couldn't just stand here and do nothing.

He then heard more rustle in the grass behind him. Followed by a familiar voice.

"Kristoff?"

Kristoff glanced back and saw Jack emerge from the tall grass.

"Jack!" he exclaimed.

"What's going on?!" Jack asked, curiously.

Kristoff glanced back behind him, causing Jack to look past him and stare in utter shock. It was there he saw Elsa standing over his uncle with a knife, looking as if she was going to stab him.

"Oh, God!" he gasped as he rushed forward.

"Elsa!"

Elsa continued to push the knife down toward the throat of the man who threatened her family. The Blade of her dagger slowly drew near as her strength overpowered his. North leaned back his head in an attempt to keep the blade from his throat as long as he could.

When suddenly she heard a voice from behind.

"Elsa, Stop!"

The wild woman growled as she glanced back behind her, where she saw Jack standing behind her. The feral rage that had driven her senses was then met with the pleading gaze of the man she loved, reaching his hand out to her.

"Please." he asked of her.

Elsa's furious gaze slowly softened as she then realized what she was doing. She glanced back down at North, who was still holding back her dagger. She slowly stood back up, retracting her knife from the man's throat. She then stood up and slowly backed away from the man. It was then that she saw Jack rush to his aid.

"Uncle North, you alright?!" He exclaimed as he kneeled down to him.

Elsa glanced to Jack in shock.

"Uncle?!" she thought to herself.

North leaned off the ground, covering the flesh wound that was inflicted upon him. He groaned, wincing at the pain. Jack glanced down to his arm, where he saw blood seeping from his hand covering his open wound.

"I'm fine." He reassured his nephew.

He then glanced up at his Nephew, where he expressed a look of awe and relief to see he was safe.

"Jack!" he said.

"You're safe."

Jack glanced up at his Uncle in awe. Hearing his Uncle sound so concerned for him, it was something he hadn't heard for all these years. North then turned to him, placing his firm hand atop his shoulder.

"Thank God." he said.

Elsa stared in awe and contempt. The man who had attacked her and her mother long ago, who had harmed one of her pride, was Jack's uncle. And she was about to kill him like he tried to do to her long ago. Taking what was family away from Jack. And even after promising to him that she would help save them.

Elsa glanced down at her dagger, which was drench in the blood of Jack's Uncle. She frowned, sullenly.

"What have I done? she thought to herself.

There was a sudden flash of bright light, followed by a large gust of wind and a propeller sound. Elsa gasped as she gazed up into the light above. She squinted her eyes, seeing something circling above. Jack, North, Kristoff and Mattias peered up into the air, where they saw three Black helicopters above.

"Oh no!" Kristoff exclaimed.

Slowly the helicopters descended, landing over the tall grass around them. It was there that several mercenaries poured from their open sides and approached them from all sides. They raised their guns, holding them to them.

"Don't move!"

"Stay where you are!"

Both Mattias and Kristoff complied with their demands and raised their hands into the air. Though they were met with a stern glance from Elsa, glanced around at the mercenaries, growling at them. She then turned, holding up her knife in defense. Jack turned to Elsa.

"Elsa, Don't!" He exclaimed as he stood up.

Elsa glanced back at her mate, who came up behind her. He then came in front of her, standing between her and the mercenaries.

"Please, just lower your guns!" He yelled out over the propellers.

"I'm afraid we can't do that, Jack."

Jack glanced forward toward the two mercenaries, where he saw Hans emerge from behind them. He glanced to Elsa, who was standing behind Jack. Seeing the jungle woman's growling back at him, Hans smirked, amusingly.

"Hello there," he said to her.

"You remember me?"

Elsa continued to stare back at him, as if she was looking at another rival predator. She indeed recognized him from the day before. He was the one who had shot at her. And now he seemed to be threatening her and Jack's family as well. Jack came up in front of Elsa.

"Hans, what are you doing?" Jack asked, curiously.

"It's simply business, Jack," Hans proclaimed to him.

"You and the girl have been getting in the way for way too long. But luckily, our employer saids you both could still be of use."

Jack squinted his eyes, curiously.

"Employer?" He asked, curiously.

"Hans is a corporate spy!"

Jack and Elsa glanced at Kristoff, who came up next to them.

"He's been committing espionage against his family's company," Kristoff insisted to him.

"For a company called Pitch Black Industries. He was just using us to find some lost city."

Jack turned back to Hans. He then glanced to the helicopter behind him. It was there he noticed the logo on it's side. But it wasn't the one for Southern Isle Industries. This one had two black horses with the name Pitch Black Industries below it.

"That was spot on, Kristoff," Hans proclaimed to him.

"And here I thought I wouldn't have to worry about any of you finding out the truth."

Jack, Kristoff, Mattias and North each starred in utter contempt at Hans.

"But I guess this will make things a lot easier, " Hans insisted to them.

"Because all of you are going to help us find it."

"That's not happening!" Jack claimed to him.

Hans smirked, shaking his head to him. He reached around to his side, where he pulled out his pistol.

"I think you'll find that won't be an option." Hans insisted before turning back to the helicopter behind him.

It was there that they saw Tooth, Anna and Tadashi being forced out of the helicopter by the mercenaries. Struggling in their hold, the mercenaries dragged them forward toward them. Anna then turned and saw her brother and Kristoff.

"Anna!" Kristoff exclaimed.

Jack and Kristoff starred in both shock and awe. As too did North, seeing his wife being held against her will. They came up behind Hans and were then forced down onto their knees. Hans then glanced back to them.

"I was really hoping it didn't have to come to this." He insisted to them.

Hans came up to Anna. He then raised his gun and pressed the barrel of his gun down against her head. Anna gasped, as she narrowed her head. Jack and Kristoff both gasped.

"Wait, NO!" Jack exclaimed, holding out his hand.

Elsa starred in utter contempt, seeing Hans threatening Jack's sister in such a way. The wild woman growled, the grip over her dagger tightened by her rage.

"Hans, please," Jack pleaded with him.

"Don't do this!"

Hans glanced back to Jack. There was hardly a hint of remorse in his expression. Rather he grinned, seeing that he had finally gotten their attention. Thus gaining their cooperation he had been waiting for.

"You forced my hand, Jack," Hans insisted to him.

"All of this is your doing."

Anna slowly began to sob as he continued to hold his gun to her.

"Hans please," she begged of him.

"PLEASE STOP!"

Hans shifted his gun down before her and pulled the trigger, causing her to gasp.

"SHUT UP!" he exclaimed to her.

It was as the gun went off that Elsa had lost all sense of control. Letting out a cry of rage, she came past Jack and charged at Hans with her knife. Jack reached out his hands to her.

"Elsa, No!" she exclaimed.

But Elsa did not listen and only continued to charge at Hans. She then raised her Knife into the air in an attempt to impale him. And then suddenly she paused as she felt a sharp pain over her shoulder. She looked to the side, where she saw a small dart. Suddenly, she began feeling so weak. She glanced back, but her vision had started to blur.

It was then she felt another sharp pain over her back. The knife she held then dropped from her hand as she slowly fell to the ground. Jack gasped as he rushed to her side.

"Elsa!" he cried.

He kneeled down next to her, picking her up in her arms. Elsa turned her head, peering up at Jack.

"J-Jack..." she said so weakly.

"Elsa, just hang on." he begged of her.

Elsa reached up her hand to her mate before slowly losing consciousness and fading into the darkness.

(And that concludes the Worlds of Two. Good news, we have only one last story before Legend Begins is over and we can move on to phase two. For now, I'm gonna take a small break from the story so that I can focus on my other stories. I will be back to finish this one. I plan to finish this story by the end of the year. For now, I look forward to hearing what you think of this chapter.)
