Here is chapter 4 everybody.

Chapter 4: Compact Cable Chaos.

In the college town of Bana City, at the southern coast of Osea, two men were playing a game of chess. One of them was a 24 year old man, had messy brown hair, wore glasses and was wearing pants, black shoes, and a button up shirt. A satellite technician, Henry Grabner is a highly intelligent man who had unambiguous career aspirations. He was currently playing chess with his 55 year old father Jakob Grabner. Jakob is a kind and gentle man who was a former Belkan Air Force fighter pilot and veteran of the Belkan War. After witnessing the seven nuclear explosions and Belka's defeat, Jakob couldn't bear to live in a country who nuked its own people. He decided to immigrate to Osea with his now deceased wife in order to start a family in a peaceful environment and now healed from the war. He is currently getting impatient in the chess game.

"So why are you waiting? Hmm? My social security will expire, you'll still; be sitting there?" Jakob said.

"I'm thinking." Henry said.

"Yeah, well, think already." Jakob said.

Henry then moves the chess people and Jakob immediately move his piece soon after before grabbing his cup of coffee.

"Dad, do you have any idea how long it takes for those cups to decompose?" Henry asked.

"If you don't move soon, I'm gonna start to decompose." Jakob replied back.

"Ok." Henry said as he moved another chess piece, which Jakob moved one immediately before smoking his cigar.

"Listen, Henry, I've been meaning to talk to you. It's nice that you see me so much now, but–." Jakob started.

"Don't… Don't start, Dad." Henry said, cutting him off.

"I'm only saying it's been, what, four years? You're still thinking about her?" Jakob said.

"Three years." Jakob said.

"All right, three, four. She broke up with you. Come on, move on. This is not healthy." Jakob said.

"No, this is not healthy. Smoking is not healthy." Henry said, pointing Jakob's smoking habit, before moving his chess piece to win. "Checkmate."

"Wait a minute, wait a minute. Wait, wait, wait. This is not checkmate." Jakob protested as Henry gets up.

"See you tomorrow, Pop." Henry said, giving Jakob a kiss before he leaves.

"Now, just hold on. This is not checkmate." Jakob said before he mutters in annoyance. "Ahh, checkmate."

Hours later, Henry arrived at his job where everything was at a panic. Henry rode his bike inside the offices as his boss Marvin noticed him

"Henry. Henry. What the hell's the point of having a cellphone if you're not gonna turn it on?" Marvin asked.

"It was turned on. I was ignoring you. What's the big emergency?" Henry asked.

"It started this morning. Every station's making like it's the 1950s. We got static. We got snow. All kinds of distortions." Marvin said as Henry gets off his bike and noticed him throwing his can of soda in the garbage.

"Marvin. What the hell are you doing? There's a reason we have bins labeled 'recycle'. What the hell is going on? My God in heaven." Henry said as he discovered more soda cans in a garbage bin.

"So sue me, Henry! We got a problem." Marvin said.

"Did you try to switch transponder channels?" Henry said.

"Oh, please. You think I'd be this panicked if it was something simple." Marvin said.

"OK. Let's point the dish at another satellite." Henry said.

"We tried that. It didn't work. It's almost as though they weren't even there. Or like what happen last year." Marvin replied.

"All right. All right. What've we got here?" Henry said as he picked up a piece of paper and gets confused. "This is im;possible."

"Think you can find the problem?" Marvin asked.

"It's gonna take hours but I can try." Henry said.

"Well, better get to work." Marvin said as he leaves.

And that's the end of the chapter. Yep, there will be veteran's from previous wars in this story, like Jakob. Jakob is born Belkan but his son Henry is born a Osean with Belkan heritage. Speaking of the Belkan War, next chapter will introduce us to another Belkan War veteran. Stay tuned and please review.
