"Well, that case was certainly … interesting," Warrick commented, getting into the driver's seat of the SUV,
"You can say that again!" Sara replied, shaking her head. "I mean, you come to Vegas to get married, and end up killing a male stripper, and getting arrested."
"Well, at least they'll be together! In jail!" Warrick chuckled.
"You're horrible, ya know that. Just plain horrible." Sara laughed, playfully hitting Warrick on the shoulder.
"You're just saying that, Sidle, because you know you can't resist my sexy charm." Warrick flashed his trademark smile, sending Sara into "La-La Land."
"Oh, come off it, Brown! I never said I was trying to resist your 'sexy charm,' which, by the way, is a blatant overstatement," Sara said flatly, trying not to smile. But Warrick could see right through her; He knew he was getting to her.
"Come off it? Alright. But only if you admit it."
"Admit what?" Sara asked innocently, blushing.
"That you think I'm sexy. Or dare I say, you have a crush on me." Warrick smirked.
"Oh God, he's figuring it out," Sara thought to herself, before shouting, "I DO NOT! Where in God's name did you get that idea Warrick?"
"Cool your jets, Sar," Warrick chuckled. "I was joking. Unless it's true, I mean, we are right in front of a wedding chapel."
"Shut up Warrick!" Sara playfully hit him for the second time. "We really gotta get back to the lab, so drive."
"Yes, my servant," Warrick replied, sounding slightly disappointed that they could not continue their games.
"Thank you, master," Sara smiled, although she too was feeling disheartened that the moment was about to end. It was at that exact moment that she realized that her feelings for Warrick were much more than just a 'schoolgirl crush.' She was falling in love.
