CHAPTER 5: REBELS AND THE HERO
The incident following the invisible menace caught the attention of the cops, Ben thought. He was thankful that he got away from the police, at a safe enough distance away from the fuzz, he didn;t sit right at all. He felt as if he was a criminal. He FELT like a criminal. Running from the police is what guilty parties do. Albeit, since Translucent is in stasis, at least he could sleep at least decently.
"So this Null Void egg, it traps people inside right? Like some sort of…"
"Like an interdimensional prison. He's not dead, thank god, but he is in a deep coma," Ben said, finally unlocking the door. "Here we are."
"So what's the plan? You gonna kill him?" Billy asked, walking inside.
"No. I need some answers regarding what they want. I had been tracking their activities for quite some time. He may have some of the answers, or at least partially to what I need."
"And then what? Let him go, let him face justice? I admire your fucking kindess, but he saw your face. Even if you put him in prison, the justice system will not hold him. He'd be bought out and rat you out," Billy exclaimed.
Billy didn't want to admit it, but Billy may have a point. Translucent was extremely petty. He saw what Ben could do, and when he is out of stasis and sees Level 20 tech around him, he will not hesitate to rat him out and out his tech.
"I think I may have an idea," Ben said, "One that does not include killing him."
"What do you have in mind?" Billy asked, skeptical of the man.

Translucent, one of the main cast of the Seven, was defeated by an unknown guy with a fancy wrist watch and a nobody. Not the most embarrassing of days, but it was up there. He groaned as he got up. His vision was a blur until vision cleared. He saw Billy with a smug grin on his face, sitting on a stool chuckling. Ben stood next to him with a more of a serious look on his.
That was when he knew that something was abundantly off. He was tied to a metal chair, nailed to the floor while sporting a tight black T-shirt over a grey long sleeve shirt, blue pants, and black combat shoes. His hands were bound by glowing blue energy cuffs, something to which he never saw before. He tried to struggle to get out of them, but oddly enough, he could not break through.
He glared towards Billy and Ben as they stared at them with pure, seething hatred. Ben mostly. Billy chuckled and crossed his legs as he smiled with pure joy, knowing how helpless Translucent was.
Translucent looked around and saw that he was in some renovated, high-tech warehouse with otherworldly tech all around. He sat across the small coffee table from the living room to Ben and Billy. His increasing hatred towards the newcomer was striking since his eyes were fixated on him.
"What the hell did you do to me? Why can't I escape? What happened to my powers?" Translucent said.
Ben, who was more inclined to answer was interrupted by Billy, who was enjoying this all too well.
"Energy Cuffs mate! As long as those are on your wrists, you can't power up. Therefore, you are no longer a super as long as those cuffs are on your wrists. Kinda forgot my gun at home, but what Mr. Ten here has in store for you is even better! If not…hellish if I may say so myself," Billy chuckled.
"Oh you think this shit is funny? Just wait until Homelander…"
"I have questions, and you are the only one with the answers. You can redeem yourself by giving us what we need and in exchange, I will ensure your safe return," Ben said. Billy turned to Ben as if he was crazy, "At the hopes that you do not say anything about this little incident."
"And what if I do? Ya gonna stop the whole Seven? Good luck!" Translucent said. "I do not know how you got…whatever this thing is, it's not doing you any favors. I am indestructible, guy. Invincible,"
"Yeah, one with no powers right now," Ben murmured, "Look, all we need is information on the Seven and Vought. What they know and what they want. You give us that and we will let you go."
"You must be dumber than you think! What makes you think that I am gonna rat out my whole team? Stupid motherfucker!" Translucent laughed. "You can keep me here all day, and all night! The Seven will come, fuck you up, your family, and take your shit!"
As Translucent continued to make threats towards Ben, Billy turned towards him and saw the utter, increasing anger in his face. Billy saw the Ultimatrix glowing intently.
Despite that Translucent does not know the Tennyson family, that bit alone, something clicked. Something snapped. Ben's wrists started to shake. Something was coming back to Ben's mind.
Something horrible.
Something sinister.
Billy tried to diffuse the situation; he only knew Ben for like a few days, and based on his superpowers and the tech that he had, he concluded that Translucent was one of the dumbest of the team. He saw what Ben transformed into, and he was afraid that Ben might transform into something that Translucent would regret.
So instead of Ben acting out of impulse, he took a deep breath and gave him a cold stare.
"You know I was going to transform into Four Arms and rip you apart," Ben began, "But then I realized…nah. That's too good for you. I looked up your crimes...your infidelity, and the fact that you did it all willy nilly, without a care. So instead of me just kicking your ass 10 ways to Sunday, I'm just going to send you to a place that would hopefully teach you humility…and if I mean humility, I mean the place where you will suffer for the rest of your days."
Translucent laughed at this, "What? You gonna take me to prison, pretty boy?!"
Ben smirked. "Something like that."
Ben dug up his pocket and pulled out the same NullVoid Egg he used to temporarily imprison Translucent. Before Translucent had a chance to say anything, Ben gently rolled the egg towards him.
"The fuck…?" Without a pause of hesitation, the egg opened up and sucked him into the egg. The remains of what was left from him was his barrelling screams of utter fear.
Ben got up from his chair and got the egg from off the ground. He pushed the button on the top, turning the egg's LCD indicator on the equatorial middle of the device from a HOT RED to GREEN.
"Subject: Captured. Destination: Null Void," said the Egg's AI.
"Null Void?" Billy asked, confused. The hell ya send him?"
"The Null Void. It's a prison dimension I sent him. Think of it as the Alcatraz for extraterrestrial life," Ben said.
"So…you sent him to hell…literally," Billy said.
"I programmed the cuffs with a timeline of 10 minutes…assuming he survives," Ben said.
"10 minutes?"
"10 minutes out here…10 months in there," Ben said.
Billy was taken aback. Not only Ben had access to all of this advanced tech, but the fact that he had access to another entire dimension was something else entirely. He stood back a bit, both in fear and in slight respect. Only slightly.
"All I can say is…holy shit," Billy said.
Suddenly, the Null Void Egg turned red again. Ben aimed the top tip of the egg towards the chair, firing Translucent away back to said chair.
When he finally returned, and…that is saying that VERY loosely, Translucent returned…digestively. All that remained was the energy cuffs. His…remains…splattered all over the living room. The smell was unbearable. The odor was that of a dead rat bathing in a sewer of rhino excrement in a hot African savanna…multiplied by four hundred.
"Maybe that was a bad idea," Ben thought.
"Well…he's dead," Billy joked, spitting some of Translucent out. "So what do you think who might have had him for lunch?"
"A vulpimancer maybe," Ben said, not even blinking towards Billy's confusion.
"So man eating monsters. Could have said man eating monsters," Billy said.
"Hold on, maybe I got something to undo this. The shit is fresh so it may not be too late," Ben said.
"Y-you sure about that?" Billy said, now getting even more confused; when a bright green light flashed, Billy shielded his eyes. When it faded, Billy was introduced to a new creature standing before him, a robot-like alien with skin that is made of golden metal, with black stripes and a transparent piece of green glass on his chest, revealing the gears inside of him.
"CLOCKWORK!" Clockwork shouted in a thick, Russian accent.
"The hell?"
Wasting no time, Clockwork lifted up his hand and fired energy blasts at the lump of crap on his chair, gathering other clumps of crap spread around, melding together into a humanoid figure. The lumps of crap rapidly became bone, organs, tissue, and skin.
The energy cuffs floated back to his hands. After a sudden green flash faded, Translucent went back to his normal, indigestible self…screaming in terror with tears streaming down his face. He jerked around in terror. Heart rate pulsated. When he saw Ben again, and with Billy, he shook in utter terror.
"WHAT. THE. FUCK?!" Billy yelled, not believing that happened.
"WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK?!" screamed Translucent, still shaken.
"You brought him back?" Billy asked Ben, leaning on him, "How on Earth…?"
"We need answers. Not vengeance," Ben corrected.
"I'll tell you everything! EVERYTHING! Just DO NOT put me back in there!" Translucent begged.
"What the hell did you see?" Bill asked.
"I've seen the true sense of hell…twice!" Translucent said. Ben threateningly got into Translucent's face.
"Start talking," Ben said ominously.

The Deep nonchalantly was walking in the hallway, just wishing that he was somewhere else rather than here. When the doors opened, his bored look dropped to shock in seeing Homelander…and only Homelander…with his gloves off. The Deep, thinking that it was a nothing burger, had a light scoff.
"Oh well…I thought we had a meeting. I just let you have to it," The Deep said, with a reassuring smile.
"Well, we are having a meeting, aren't we Deep? Come on in, sit down," Homelander said with a vicious, sinister smile on his face.
The Deep gulped. He slowly entered the room with the doors ominously closing behind him. Homelander grinned, sensing the Deep's terror.
The Deep sat close to him, scooting himself further into the table. "So uh what a…or is there…anything I can do for you, Homelander?" the Deep asked, with a nervous tone in his voice.
"Well yes, well you can help me understand something, Deep, 'cuz uh…I don't know. Maybe I'm stupid," Homelander said. "Am I stupid, Deep?"
"What no," Deep scoffed, "No, you're not stupid. You're smart," he paused, "Very smart, right?"
"Yeah. Okay. so what possible reason…what uh razor sharp, fish instinct made you run to Stillwell and tell her what you thought you saw down there?" Homelander said, with a hidden anger in his voice, slapping his hands on his shoulder, massaging the Deep in a powerplay, more like, sort of squeezing it slightly.
"Alright look," the Deep stuttered, "I-I thought, I thought, I, I was uh…I-I don't even know what I saw down there as a matter of fact. It was, it was really dark, and uh…muddy, the water was really muddy. I'm sorry. Okay. I'm sorry. I-I didn't really see anything down there as a matter of fact," the Deep stuttered in fear, pleasing Homelander as he nodded along.
"That's what I thought!" Homelander laughed, joined with a still nervous as hell Deep. To make his point absolutely clear, Homelander slapped his hand on his shoulder again, this time, moving up to his neck in a quasi-choking manner, "and I trust we are not going to have this conversation again?"
"No," the Deep's smile fell again. "Just this once."

Back at the warehouse, a French-Algerian man wearing all black got out of his car with his female assistant on the side. He didn't look all too impressed at the sight. When he entered the building, his attitude changed….dramatically. There was advanced tech EVERYWHERE. Levels 3 to 20 tech. It wasn't Walmart vast, but it was notable. He took off his glasses, lost in awe.
He turned to Billy, who had cocky, smug grin on his face. His arms were opened before he did a massive clap.
"Seem lost, Frenchie. But I ain't the one who called ya," Billy told him.
"Who did?" Frenchie asked.
Ben appeared behind him, closing the door. "I did."
Frenchie turned around to the voice. Behind him walking to him was a muscular man wearing a Black shirt with a white "X" on the center spread throughout, a belt, and green pants. He wore a strange gauntlet on his arm.
"And…who is this?" Frenchie asked.
"I'm Ben 10,000, at your service," he extended his hand to Frenchie. Frenchie hesitated a bit, but he did shake his hand. "We kinda need your help in removing something."
"Like what?"
