Asking Regina out for breakfast was something Robin did spontaneously. He didn't really expect her to say yes, let alone to see her in a bikini when he knocked on her front door. He was certain that she's going to slam the door on his face when he failed to control his eyes from openly ogling her body.

He is only human after all and Regina…well, she's a vision. She is stunning in every way and to see her like that, it is safe to say, he's not immune.

Still, he's glad that she said yes. She did more than that. He felt that she is finally opening up to him even just for a bit. That painting in her living room got him all curious but he didn't think there's a deeper meaning behind it.

Her response made him curious. What happened to her in the past to make herself all closed off from the world?

He didn't press. He didn't want to jeopardize his chance to be her friend. She was very clear to him since they met that she's not the type to go for a relationship so he settled on being her friend. He does not want to lose that.

They took his car because he insisted and she simply laughed at his implications that a man should always drive for a woman. She talked of things about the town, giving referrals on where to go before they arrived at Granny's.

Eyes turned when they walked but unlike before, their gazes didn't linger. After Cruella's birthday party, his friends turned over a new leaf. They're eager to make up for their mistake and want to make things better for Regina. She didn't say anything to it but as soon as the attention went away, he saw how she instantly relaxed.

"Wow, this is a sight to behold", Granny greeted with smile on her face.

Regina simply hummed and went to the counter. "I'll have the usual please", she then turned to him.

"Whatever is your best seller for breakfast is fine…and coffee, please. Thank you", he ordered.

They occupied the booth at the back to have a bit of privacy if it's possible considering the small space of the diner. He noted how she feels at ease now that no one is openly watching her.

"What?" she asked when she noticed him staring.

"Nothing. It's good to see you out and about. That's all",

She chuckled.

"I go out, Robin. I just usually go out by myself",

He somewhat felt honored. She does not go out with anyone and yet, she's there with him. It's an achievement.

"So, how's your day like when you're not working?" he asked.

It is also his day off from work and he thought about going out with the boys but he would rather spend the day with her if she would allow it.

"Nothing much. Rest, because I don't get to do that during the weekdays. Sometimes I read but after the tons of documents I read last week, I don't think I'll do that today",

"Well, I was told the lake is a great place to visit. If you're up for a hike, perhaps, you can join me?"

It was a long shot. He does not imagine Regina to be the outdoorsy type but he has to try. He really wants to see the lake and he knows he can always ask David and Killian but it's her company he prefers.

"I think I am up for a hike. It's been a while since I've done that. I'll meet you at your house later", she accepted and it made him so happy.

They ate their breakfast while talking about pretty much anything under the sun. He discovered that she is a bit of a nerd which is something he shares. She's not into romantic movies but horror ones. She's not afraid of heights and in fact, she is a sucker for roller coaster rides. Piano and guitar are her preferred instruments but she also knows how to play the drums, and she knows how to ride a motorcycle.

Once they're done, they walked back to his car and by that time, she's smiling and carefree laughing from his jokes. It is a dangerous slope because he knows the woman has her limits when it comes to human connections. Thing is, it is difficult to keep that in mind when she looks like a divine goddess in front of him. It's only been a short period of time and yet, he already finds himself getting deeper and deeper in her.

It is scary because he is aware that he can screw it up so easily. One wrong word and she will stop talking to him. He cannot risk that.

"So…just give me an hour to get ready and I'll go to your place?" she asked when he dropped her off her house.

"One hour. Got it", she smiled once more before entering her house.

He packed up fast once he got in. He's spending the day with Regina Mills and he cannot wait. A nice bottle of wine, some food for the picnic he's planning by the lake and a portable speaker for a bit of music and he's all set.

True to her word, she rang the doorbell after an hour.

She's dressed in denim shorts and white shirt when he opened the door. Her eyes focused on the bag he's carrying before arching her brow.

"Just a few essentials…are you ready?"

"Ready when you are",

"Alright, let's go",

She seems to know her way around the woods because he finds himself following her lead. She is talking about her friends but he cannot seem to concentrate when her bare legs are right in front of him. Yes, he had seen her in her bikini that morning, but a casual Regina hit differently.

Still, he did his best to respond. He does not want her to think that he's ignoring her.

When they finally reached the lake, he put down his bag and took out the mat he packed before taking out the rest of the things he packed.

"A picnic?" she asked.

"Well, yeah…it's a great view to have one, don't you think?"

She didn't answer but he can see the sparkle dancing in those brown eyes of hers.

He continued setting up the scene as Regina took the time to admire the view. Once he's done, he found himself admiring the view though it's not quite what she's looking at. No. He's admiring her. The way the smile lit up her face, the sun shining bright on her face, the air as it brushes on her dark hair…she's stunning. When she turned to him, he was caught red-handed staring at her.

"You're staring",

"Sorry, couldn't help it", he confessed.

He swore that her smile widened. "We're here so you can see the lake, Robin",

There is that playfulness in her tone and he found himself laughing because yes, that's the reason why they went there but he also wanted to spend time with her.

"That's right. So…I brought bread, chips, and wine",

She joined him on the mat and observed the things he brought. "You've come prepared", she noted while taking a bite of the bread.

"Oh…and I brought this", he turned on the speaker and played a song.

"Well…I'm impressed", she chuckled.

They talked a few more before Regina decided the time for talking is over. He was confused at first but when she got up and removed her top and her shorts, his breathing stopped. It felt as if his heart is going to burst right out of his chest.

She glanced at him with that playful smirk before arching her brow. "What? You can't come here and not enjoy the lake. Come on",

He watched as Regina almost ran towards the water before diving in. Swimming in the lake was not part of his plans when he invited her but seeing her all carefree and smiling made him screw all his plans. He followed her lead and removed his clothes before jumping into the water.

It was a tad cold at first but that soon disappeared and discovered the allure of the water. It felt nice to be there and with Regina.

"You do this often?" he asked.

"…not as much as I would have liked. Swimming is fun and all but it can boring sometimes when alone. Good thing, I am not at the moment", she answered.

She is enjoying herself and he is glad. This is the image of her he wants to see more often, smiling, laughing. It's a pretty sight. She is not hiding behind her total composure mask and she is allowing him to see the side of her she mostly hides from everyone else.

"We should do this more often then. I like that smile on your face", he blurted out without thinking.

At first, he thought she's just going to swim away from him and leave him there but she didn't bolt. Instead, she swam closer to him until they're inches apart.

"I am glad I am not boring you yet, Locksley",

He scoffed because she can never bore him even if she tries. He can just stay there and watch her all day long and he will never be bored.

"That's impossible—"

His words died in his mouth when she closed the distance between them and pressed her lips on his. Regina kissing him was the last thing in his mind though he had dreamt of doing just that more times than he can count.

It's a line he didn't dare to cross because of his fear of losing her and yet, she crossed without a second thought. The move was very much welcomed and before he can think it through, his arms wrapped around her in an instant, deepening the kiss.

There's no protest on her part as she hummed into his mouth. When her lips parted, he took the chance and allowed his tongue to meet hers. The feeling is so delirious. He cannot believe that he is actually kissing Regina Mills. He pressed himself to her because he cannot get enough. He wants to be as close as possible to her so he devoured her with all his might, not wanting her to regret ever taking the initiative of kissing him.

It didn't take long for him to stir into life. There is no doubt that she can feel it. He would have been embarrassed because he does not want her to think that he brought her there for that but when she wrapped her legs around his waist underwater, that thought went out the window and his hands automatically traveled directly on her ass.

The feeling of her bare skin on his palms melted his brain. Things are getting out of hand and he should stop now before she gets the idea that his intentions towards her were just to get under her pants but he couldn't stop, not when he's feeling her warmth pressed against his erection.

When her hands snaked underneath and freed him from the restraints of his boxers, his body acted on autopilot. His fingers went directly to her center and she moaned as she continues to kiss him.

It was her who guided him to her entrance and in an expert move, he is sliding into her. The feeling of her enveloping his length made him hiss. She is tight and warm and it is taking every ounce of his control not to just slam into her.

They're really doing this…in a fucking lake, nonetheless!

He let her take the lead as she pulled away from his mouth and threw her head back with her eyes closed. The sound coming from her mouth is music to his ears and he let go of any control that was left in his being. He thrusted into her and it made her moan louder.

Thank goodness, there was no one else around because the way she moans should be illegal. He took his time peppering kisses on her neck, her chest, her breasts over her bra, and as if not contented, he freed one from the fabric and latched his mouth onto it.

"Fuck, Robin!" that had done it and he felt her squeezing the life out of him before he followed her into the oblivion.

Yes…it is safe to say that now, they have indeed crossed the line and he only prays that it will not come biting him in the ass.
