Can You Keep A Secret?
Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting in the common room, enjoying the peace and quiet it offered which usually only occurred when a school holiday had just commenced. The Easter holidays had just begun and the Trio was looking forward to a visit to Hagrid.
The portrait door swung open and Ginny came in, humming softly to herself.
"Oi, what's got you in such a good mood, Ginny?" Ron asked.
"Oh, nothing," she replied absently and went up to her room.
This scene repeated itself another three times before Hermione, who was forced by Harry, who was forced by Ron, talked to Ginny.
"Hey Ginny, wait up," Hermione called after her on the fifth evening of this occurrence.
"Oh, hi Hermione, didn't see you there."
"What's going on? You always seem overly happy lately," she said, "not that that's a bad thing," she added hurriedly.
"Nothing," Ginny told her with a slight smile.
"Ginny:"
"Oh, all right," she conceded. She smiled and asked, "Can you keep a secret?"
"Yes," Hermione said while nodding her head simultaneously.
"Good. So can I," Ginny responded with a slightly cheeky smile and hurried to her room.
"And? What is it?" Ron practically pounced on Hermione when she came back down.
"Can you keep a secret?" Hermione asked. Both Harry and Ron nodded.
"Well, so can she," Hermione sighed.
