A week had passed. Justin's been staying with Lailani and her cousins for a week already. He knew his time on Inna De Poona was starting to run out.

She had yet to wash his hair, which was still a disgusting, greasy black color. However, he knew that time was about to come.

"Hey, Lailani?" he said, getting the Polynesian girl's attention.

"Yes?" she answered.

"Um, when do you plan on washing my hair with that herbal shampoo, or whatever it's called?"

She smiled at him, seeming optimistic about it.

"Tonight." she bluntly said.

"Tonight?" he said.

She nodded. "Yes. Tonight. I have a special order of herbal shampoo coming in later today. It'll definitely wash the black out. It's really been bothering me lately."

He felt the top of his head yet again, knowing that the black hair has been an eyesore for his long-distance friend for the last week. Black never really suited me, to be honest. Well, unless it's my Winter coat and pants.

Although it was good to know that his hair was about to revert back to it's natural, rich brown color, there were still more important problems at hand besides that. It felt urgent and his time on the island was numbered.

"Where are you going?" Lailani said, realizing that her American friend seemed to be heading out again.

He looked at her, knowing she was catching on to his plans.

"Out." he replied, being more serious than the time with Abia.

She frowned, knowing what he might be doing.

"Please don't go to the resort." the Polynesian girl said, sounding serious.

"Why not?" JD asked.

"I just... I don't think Ms. Belrose can be reasoned with at this point."

He shook his head, knowing that it was never too late.

"I can try to reason with her, okay? It couldn't hurt to try." he stated.

"It's just not worth it. She's not the same as she used to be last Summer."

He frowned at her, thinking this may have been the case. Brooke could easily be a two-faced snake just like Stefano and Cyd. Shit, the only difference is that I didn't do three ways with them to save the universe. That still feels like a fever dream in retrospect.

"I want to at least try, okay? Maybe, if she hears about the traumatic shit her niece went through, she'll snap out of it."

"O-Okay. Please be careful. Don't hesitate to call if you run into trouble." Lailani stated, knowing she can't force him to not confront Brooke for all of the things she had done to her employees.

He nodded, following her advice. Even if she may be right, it wouldn't hurt to try. It's time to confront that woman.

"W-What do you mean Lailani doesn't work here anymore?" a familiar Indian woman said, accompanied by her pudgy, nerdy boyfriend. They were in the hotel lobby talking to a business woman, who was minding the front desk.

"I do apologize, Ms. Lapran." the rich MILF said to her. "But, I had to get rid of her at some point or another."

"I don't understand... Why would you do that?" the Indian woman replied, seeming outraged that the Polynesian girl was laid off.

"Well... Let's just say business is business. Ms. Kealoha, unfortunately, was bad for business. I had to fire her to maintain the comfort of my guests."

Beli was upset. Simon knew this was very disappointing for his yoga instructor girlfriend.

"Eh... You've made Beli upset. Don't make her upset or I'm gonna set the whole resort on fire." the pudgy nerd said.

Brooke looked at him, not comfortable with that potential threat.

"Are threatening to commit an arson?" she asked.

"I'm not threatening, I'm making a promise." Simon replied, not happy that the owner of the resort was causing Beli a heap of distress,

"Simon, could you please stop saying that?" the Indian woman demanded.

"Eh... But Beli. She's making you upset. Fight fire with fire."

She shook her head. "Honestly, you shouldn't say that regardless. I still think you were the one who burned down the water slide last July."

"No, no. That wasn't me." he said. "It was just a coincidence."

"Sure it was. Now please, Ms. Lapran. If you don't leave now, I might just have to call the police on your fat boyfriend here." the rich MILF said, reaching for the telephone.

"sigh Come on, Simon. Let's go." she said, accepting defeat.

Brooke watched them walk away with a huge smirk on her face.

"Toodle-Loo!" she shouted, saying her farewell in a toxic-kind of way.

Beli and Simon sat outside in front of Love Lei Hotel, both feeling major defeat after hoping to see the Indian yoga instructor's old friend... with benefits.

"This is very disappointing." she said, putting her head down.

The pudgy nerd looked at her, feeling major sympathy for his accepting girlfriend.

"You want me to get my matches and set the resort on fire?" he asked, saying that same repetitive line yet again.

"Simon..." the Indian replied, not in the mood to lecture him again.

Justin walked up to the front entrance of the hotel. The same place he stayed at both times visiting this tropical island. It brought up many memories, both good and bad.

This is where Kyu hung out at while gathering those fairy wings. This is where me and Aiko had that fight. And this is where her and Connor...

He stopped that train of thought the moment he could. That unplanned pregnancy that happened with the Japanese teacher really was traumatizing, both for her and for JD.

Part of it was his fault, as he did invite Connor knowing how irresponsible he was around women last year. At the same time though, he should've had more control and used protection when having sexual intercourse with his close lady friend. Thank God he's changed now. Maybe that's a sign that Brooke can change too.

He walked up to an unexpected surprise.

"Beli?" he said, surprised to see the Indian yoga instructor sitting on the front step, alongside a pudgy nerd who he didn't recognize.

"Oh! Justin." she said, also surprised to see him. "What are you doing here? And what on Earth did you do to your hair?"

Ugh, enough about my hair.

"It doesn't matter. Why are YOU here? And who's this guy?"

She looked at her boyfriend, feeling ashamed. She was overwhelmed, feeling like everything was much worse than it probably was.

"Uh... This is Simon. He's my buddy. Yeah..."

JD looked at the pudgy nerd with round glasses. Simon waved at him, also feeling a tad overwhelmed with what they just experienced.

"Right..." he said, not thinking too much of it.

Beli frowned, still a bit upset about her recent let down.

"Gosh, this is so embarrassing." the Indian said, putting her hand over her face. She didn't want JD to see her a tad upset like this.

"Hey, it's okay, Beli. What's wrong?" he asked, hoping she was OK.

The Indian woman took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts so she could give a clear explanation to her sudden fit of distress.

"I came here to teach a yoga class. But when I saw that Lailani wasn't at the front desk, I asked Ms. Belrose where she went. She said she had fired her, though she was being very vague."

Fucking Brooke... I knew it!

"Brooke fired Lailani because she didn't approve of her sleazy sugarbaby business."

"Wait, what?" she replied, confused about that statement.

"Look, Brooke's always been a sugarmama. When I first met her, she called me her little sugarbaby. She was fine until her husband died in January. Now, she has millions of dollars in her name. Needless to say: the greed went to her head."

Beli nodded, understanding why this would spark some conflict between Brooke and Lailani. The Polynesian girl never liked sexual activity, or even explicit discussion. She was always a serious romantic and didn't believe in sex being required for a relationship. That's why they were both really good friends: Because they both had something they could relate to... and more.

"So, why are you here, exactly?"

He sighed, knowing that was the tricky part.

"I'm here to try and reason with Brooke. Ever since she ghosted Audrey, her life has gone to shit. She went to rehab, even spent her birthday in there. When she came out, the mafia attacked her. Her aunt didn't even respond to any of her text messages and she left mine unread. I'm hoping I can get her to snap out of it."

"Oh my gosh... Are you serious?" Beli said, in shock that Ms. Belrose would do such a thing.

"Yep." he said. "She fired Lailani over a petty little argument. Nora quit after she scolded her for too long. And as for Suki, sweet INNOCENT Suki... She sent her to an institution in the mountains. Money talks, I guess. I learned the hard way after dealing with some... let's just say false idols."

The Indian woman shook her head, not realizing how much she was missing ever since she took a break from teaching yoga classes on Inna De Poona. I leave for only a couple of months and now, everything's a mess.

"Eh... Excuse me, Senior?" Simon said, somewhat interrupting their conversation.

"Yes?"

"Erm, if you can't fix Brooke's behavior, can I set the resort on fire?"

"SIMON!" Beli shouted.

What the Hell? Is this guy some kind of arsonist? Jeez.

"Ummm... No. Let's not do that." JD replied, feeling very awkward with his somewhat threatening statement.

"Why not?"

"Because violence is not the answer. You wouldn't like it if someone set your house on fire, would you?"

Simon looked down, beginning to mumble to himself. 'M-Maybe I should just set the world on fire...'

He turned his focus back to Beli, now even more determined to accomplish his goal today.

"Anyways, I've gotta go talk to Brooke. Poor Lailani has to live in a shitty, run-down house with her cousins. I wanna help get her job back."

The Indian looked at him, getting a feeling that this wasn't going to work out.

"I think it may be a lost cause, Justin." she said, being blunt with her friend.

He shrugged, still wanting to try regardless. That's the same thing Lailani said. Still, I wanna try. Brooke needs to know about Audrey's trauma.

"I'm gonna try anyway." he said, beginning to head for the front door.

The Indian sat there with a concerned expression on her face.

"Hey, if you wanna see Lailani, wait out here and I can lead you to her cousin's house."

Beli suddenly grinned, happy he was so brave and considerate. It had been a while since they've last seen each other, especially since she met Simon.

"Good luck." she said, not having high hopes for the confrontation with the rich MILF.

He nodded, beginning to make his way into the lobby of Love Lei Hotel. Here goes nothing...

Justin Dark then went inside of the building, being greeted by the big bulky letters reading 'Welcome to Love Lei Hotel.'

Even though those words meant something, mainly when Lailani would say it, this time it wasn't so lighthearted. It was serious.

There, he saw her: Ms. Brooke Belrose, the 40-year old business woman with brunette hair in a bun, glasses, and an overall artificial look from all the plastic surgery she had received throughout the years.

"Well, look who it is! Good to see you, Justin-"

"Cut the bullshit, Brooke." he interrupted, not happy about this sudden reunion.

"What on Earth is the matter?" the rich MILF asked, not aware of why he seemed so hostile just by her greeting.

"I'm not here for a vacation this time. I'm here to take care of business." he said, being as blunt with her as possible.

She gave off a stern look, trying to intimidate him. However, JD wasn't phased by at all. He had dealt with this before. He knew a snake when he saw one.

"So, what brings you here? And what in the name of Jesus Christ did you do to your hair?" Brooke said, also jabbing at his sudden change in hair color.

For crying out loud, enough about my hair!

"I'm here to bring some stuff to your attention. It's about your niece."

The rich MILF shook her head, not knowing what he could possibly say about Audrey, the irresponsible, drug-addicted party girl that she cut ties with.

"What about her? Did she die from a heroine overdose?"

Ouch, that was uncalled for.

"No," he said. "No, not at all. Audrey's been through Hell and back ever since Nathan passed away. Her parents abandoned her and the aunt she once looked up to, not because of her fake-ass boobs, ghosted her in favor of money."

"Dear, what's this REALLY about? If you're wanting a private session, all you needed to do is ask. I'll give you a discount.

"NO!" he shouted, not in the mood to even think about her sugarbaby business.

"What is the matter with you? You're not the same man I met last Summer. That man was actually fun and had brown hair."

"What about you, Brooke? When I first met you, you seemed like a wise, nice, and well-managed woman with a rich, yet loving, husband and kids who you spoiled rotten. Now, the Brooke I know is a narcissistic, greedy, b-word that I just don't like."

The rich MILF glared at him, not taking kindly to those rude remarks.

"I will not tolerate that type of slander in my lobby." she said, seeming oblivious to his statements.

"Slander?" he said. "It's not slander if it's true. Audrey's been through a lot this year. She went to rehab, got kidnapped and beaten by the mob, and now, she's converted herself into a crazy, bible-thumper. She's lost her mind and you weren't there for any emotional support."

Brooke gasped, not because she wasn't aware of this, but because she thought it was outrageous that her previous sugarbaby was now turning heel on her.

"How DARE you!" she shouted, still in disbelief.

"How dare me? How dare YOU fire Lailani like that. She was loyal to you and you sold her out. Nora? She's having to resort to working for criminals down in Florida, endangering her her cousins, one of which is a 4 year old boy. And what you did to Sarah-"

"I had every right to do those things!" she shouted. "It was all BUSINESS decisions. Lailani disagreed with the way I chose to live, so I let her go. Nora was a thieving, no-good immigrant. And Sarah? Don't even get me started."

JD shook his head in disgust. Brooke was obviously being delusional, though he expected something like this to go down.

"Sarah is a nice girl that doesn't belong in a mental institution. You sold all of them out. You're just like Stefano: A spineless rat who would sell out their closest allies for money."

The rich MILF clenched her fist. Even though everything she was doing as of late was out of line, she didn't have the heart to call the police on her old friend.

"How about we make a deal?"

"No." he bluntly said, knowing she was going to try some sort of manipulation tactic.

"No?" she said, even more outraged. "Not even if I offer you some of my husband's fortune?"

He shook his head. "Nah, you can keep it. Wouldn't want to disrespect Nathan Belrose like that, who I think YOU may have had something to do with him dying."

"My husband died of natural causes. I had nothing to do with it." Brooke said, denying anything.

That may be true, or it may not. Regardless, this is still a fucked up situation.

"Well, good luck with that vile sugarbaby business. I'll be sure to let Audrey know that her aunt just ghosted her while she was going through trauma."

Justin turned around realizing that he wasn't going to get through to her. However, she made one final remark about him.

"You're a phony, Justin Dark!" she said, upset about this.

He chuckled, thinking that was a bit hypocritical coming from her.

"I may be a phony, but at least I'm not PLASTIC!" he said, taking a smartass jab at her mass amount of plastic surgery she's had over the years.

He left the hotel on a sour note, but he knew something like this was probably going to happen. At least I tried.

He greeted Beli and Simon, who were still in front of the hotel.

"Well?" the Indian woman asked.

"Well, it didn't work out. Who cares? Let's go to Lailani's house, shall we?"

She smiled at him, proceeding to follow him to the Polynesian girl's house in the rural part of the tropics.

I figured that would happen. At least I know that greed has fully consumed Brooke. Oh well...
