Three days of hearing the pain filled screams of the silver ranger and the Psychos were all ready to call the procedure a wash and just kill him. Red was especially anxious to end the noise. It was Blue who was the most hesitant to just give up on the plan. He wanted, desperately, to kill the blue ranger and felt this might be the best way of doing so.

Thankfully, by the fourth day, the screams had died down. At first, the evil rangers thought that their captive had simply lost consciousness. It had happened a few times already during the process. When Psycho Yellow went to check on him, though, Zhane's eyes were still open though had a somewhat vacant look to them. Had she been human and able to express emotions, she would've had a sadistic smirk on her face.

Calling the other Psychos, Yellow began to type in commands on a computer.

"Don't tell me he's dead," Pink questioned as they stepped into the room.

"If he was, don't you think I'd be dealing with the body?" Yellow challenged.

Pink made a huffing sound and crossed her arms over her chest while Red approached the still ranger.

"You're certain he's not dead." In response, Yellow simply pointed at Zhane's slowly moving chest. It was enough to prompt a chuckle from the team's leader.

As Yellow continued prepping the computer, Blue went to the nearby table and lifted up the silver colored 'psycho' helmet and brought it over towards them. He waited for her signal and removed the strap restraining his head, fitting the helmet over the blonde's head. As he locked it in place, he felt the gentle hum of activation as the cybernetics he'd installed connected to the implants Yellow had applied to the young man.

"Shouldn't be much longer, now," Yellow stated as she stepped away from the computer. "Another day or two and we can use him to strike against those rangers."

"And just think, if I hadn't have caught him sending that transmission, we'd have thought he really was one of us," Black commented with a dark chuckle.

"That was purely luck," Blue taunted. "Combined with his own stupidity for dropping his guard."

"Doesn't matter." Red glanced at the other two male Psychos, keeping them from bickering further. "What matters is we've gained a valuable weapon to use against rangers."

"And how do we keep him from killing them?" Pink challenged. "He's not going to take the pink ranger from me."

"We make sure he's programmed not to kill them," Yellow answered, not willing to let another take her own target. "We just make sure that he takes the fight out of them and then we go in and finish them off."

Red scoffed. "I'll kill the red ranger without his interference. I want to savory my victory."

If she had eyes, Yellow would've been rolling them. "We'll worry about that as we go. Right now, let's just finish his programming." Those words seemed enough to stave off any further grumblings from her peers. And at least the rest of their wait would be in silence.
