After having talked with her friends, Rina made her way to her room. Now that she was calming down, she was feeling worn out and could use some sleep. As she made herself comfortable under the covers, she glanced over at the nightstand and smiled at the framed photo of herself and Zhane making silly faces and peace signs. A feeling of relief washed over her and made her feel calmer.

While he wasn't in control of himself, he was safe. He might be sore from where she'd struck him, but he'd recover. Those were the important things. He was alive and well. And, on top of that, they'd get him free from whatever control the Psychos had him under.

As she relaxed, she turned her gaze up to the ceiling. Her mind couldn't help but go over details of what had happened. The way Zhane chased her. He'd chased after her before in simulations and had never had any issue with keeping up and even catching her. And while the Psycho armor was still protective, it wasn't so heavy it would slow him down when in pursuit. If he had wanted to catch her badly enough, he would've.

Then there was the fight, if it could be called that. In a normal fight, Zhane would've aimed his weapon at an enemy quickly and without hesitation. This time, there was a slowness to his movements. It was as if he was hesitating and had allowed her the time to strike first.

/He's fighting them,/ She thought to herself. /I knew he wouldn't give in to them so easily./

Finally, why had she heard his voice? Was it just wishful thinking? Had he, somehow, tried to reach out to her? Had she unknowingly made some form of psychic contact with him? She didn't know and when she asked Andros, he admitted that he didn't know the answer, either. Until or unless it happened again, there was no real way to know. But at least there was something they knew for certain. Zhane was still in there and was fighting to get out.

It might take some time, but they would get Zhane back. They just needed to be patient.

Knowing that, Rina closed her eyes to try and sleep. Somehow, she knew that she would sleep well tonight, which she needed. For the first time since he'd first gone undercover, she looked forward to possibly dreaming about the silver ranger.
