"We got you your favorite," Ashley announced as her non-ranger friend came out to join them in the recreation room.
"We also got you some new books," Cassie informed, a look of concern crossing her face at the dejected sigh that sounded. "You okay?"
"Not really," Rina admitted, making herself comfortable at the table. "Being stuck up here is really starting to get to me."
She wasn't trying to start any problems, but was it fair to keep her locked up on the ship. There wasn't even anything for her to really do. Nothing needed any repairs or tuneups and if there was, the others typically took care of them without letting her help. Okay, not entirely true. She was the smallest and was sometimes asked to help get into the smaller crevices and nooks when they couldn't reach.
"You know it's not exactly safe out there, yet," T.J. reminded.
"And who knows how long it'll be before it is safe," Rina challenged. "I'm going crazy being up here and it's even worse when I have to be here by myself."
"But if the Psychos-"
Rina cut Carlos off mid sentence. "I don't care about the Psychos. It took this long just to take out Pink. There's no telling how long it'll take to take care of the rest of them and I can't stay up here that long."
"It's not even all that safe for us," Ashley reminded.
"Yet we still risk it and venture to Earth," Andros defended.
Rina couldn't help but feel some relief that someone was backing her.
"And what about the Psychos?" T.J. asked. "They see her-"
"They won't give a shit," Rina stated. "They didn't exactly get a good look at me. And since I'm not a ranger, they won't even give me a second thought."
"She actually has a point," Ashley stated.
Finally, it seemed like she was being heard. That was good.
"Alright," T.J. conceded, though didn't look pleased and neither did Carlos. Cassie, she just looked concerned about the situation.
"We'll keep it to the same rules, though," Andros said, hoping to make a compromise within the group. "No one goes to Earth alone."
Rina easily and eagerly agreed. A buddy system was always good to have in place for an emergency, anyway. She was just glad that she could finally get off the damn ship and get some fresh air.
