Disclaimer: I don't own these people. None of them. Not a damn one. I just borrowed them and bend them to do my will. BUWAHAHAHAHA! Coughs I will continue my evil laugh later! When I get a cough drop! Until then….I WILL RETURN!

Water drizzled down his face as he stood in the rain. It seeped into his clothes and hair, soaking him. He didn't care. His eyes danced with a fire that had begun to smolder. They were trained on a lone figure as she waked away from him. Her umbrella shielding her from his sight. His eyes moved down her legs and then back up to her arms. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. She was beautiful, sexy, teasing, loud-mouthed, annoying, and stubborn, all rolled up into a woman who could turn even the gayest mans head. She stopped in the middle of the deck on their ship and let her umbrella fall to the wet ground. Then, to his amusement, she started twirling, dancing in the rain. She didn't know he watched her. But he did, he watched every inch of her. Her violet hair twirled when she spun and when she stopped it stuck to her neck and face, wet. She looked down and he crouched lower behind the crate. Then she spun to face him, emerald eyes afire, "Enjoying the show, Spike?" he chuckled and stood, shoving his hands into his pockets and shielding his eyes with his hair.

"As a matter of a fact, I was. Then you had to go and ruin it." He shook his head and let his signature smirk spread onto his face. He took a step forward and started the slow walk to her.

"Oh really? And how did I do that, Lunkhead?" she asked as he came closer. He looked at her, as he got close. Stopping only when they were a few inches apart.

"You stopped." He gazed into her eyes, wanting to search her soul and see her reaction. A smirk similar to his spread across her face, "Of course I stopped," her voice dipped to a whisper, "I don't like dancing alone." He smiled wider and brought his hand up to her face and raked his knuckles across her jaw.

"It's cold out. If we went in, you wouldn't have to dance alone." He raised an eyebrow in hopes that she got his meaning. She cocked her head to the side and narrowed her eyes, "Is that an offer?" Spike lowered his head and trailed his lips past her jaw to her ear, enjoying the feel of her skin under his mouth, "No…. it's a promise." Faye shivered at the possibilities then nodded. And turned to look him in the eye, "Then why are we still out here?" she whispered and grabbed his hand to lead him back inside.
