Like I said I'm going through and updating and revising chapters hopefully, I can get them up and continue the story from where I left off. BUT without further ado- Enjoy the chapter! Feel free to tell me what you think!

Disclaimer- I DO NOT own Danny Phantom or its character but I do own the stories plot and some character. And I do not own any character name that you see in my story that you see in others just to cover that as well.

Sam woke up in a good mood for once, considering what day it was. Mondays were terrible for her. It was another day that her mother tries to force her to wear something pink which inevitably fails. Although, her younger sister actually wears the colour so it was strange that they were still trying so hard to get her to wear the colour.

Shooting a quick text to Tucker to make sure that he actually woke up for school and didn't decide to skip on the second week. Slamming doors rung throughout the building as a grating voice with a thick accent called for one person.

"SELINA!"

Nope, she took back everything she said, today was going to be a terrible day. She sat up pushing her purple sheets off of her ignoring the small body in the bed beside her. Her sister could hide in her room for as long as she wanted, seeing as nobody would come into Sam's room any way. She swung her feet off the side of the bed stretching her back. Quickly deciding what she was going to wear for the day as she made her way across the room to her large closet. Pulling the outfit that consisted of black jeans, a purple bell-sleeves peasant shirt with a black backless vest waistcoat that buttoned under her breast, a choker with the ghost crystal Danny gave her, and her signature combat boots. She sat the outfit on the chair beside her dresser where she went to pull out her make up for the day and set aside some socks and underwear. She blows her black purple streaked hair out of her face with a huff. Growing her hair longer was a decision that ultimately resulted in her hair being more annoying than usual. She had cut her hair short simply to spite her parents, but now that she was pass that stage in her life – not really – she decided to grow it out.

She showers, gets dressed, puts on minimal make up, kisses her sister on the head then leaves her room. Ignoring her parents on the couch talking to a camera crew as her grandmother rolls past her in her motorized scooter.

"Gran, why are you here instead of out there?"

"Pah," her voice tinged with disgust, "those two dunderheads just claimed that they had no children. Like my two precious granddaughters don't exist."

"I expected as much," Sam looks over her shoulder eyes veiled with disinterest. "Did they register Selina for school or is she getting tutored again this year?"

"I registered her," Ida perks up a megawatt grin stretching across her wrinkled face. "But seeing as she's not with you I'm assuming that you didn't know."

"I can go wake her up? Get her dressed for school and such."

"If you can do that in the time it takes for Danny to get here then go ahead." Ida shrugged rolling away.

"Danny's going to be late anyway, he always is. Wait! Gran, am I taking her to school? Gran!" She was ignored by the elderly woman who cackled in response. "It's fine, we're early anyway."

The Foley Residence

Tucker groaned rolling over to smack his alarm on his phone with the aggression of a man who did not want to get up. His phone buzzes with a vibration in a specific patter, letting him know that Sam texted him, probably to make sure he was up.

He groaned sitting up dragging a hand down his face. He had already made sure to set his outfit for the day out the night before. So, all he had to do was grab it and shuffle his way to the bathroom.

"Tucker, is that you I hear up there!"

"Yeah dad!"

"Why are you up so early!"

"The cameras remember we're trying to avoid them as much as possible!"

"Stop shouting in my house!" His mother cuts in causing him to jump.

After getting dressed in a mustard yellow button up, brown pants, paired with brown loafers he shuffles his way downstairs to his parents' floor.

"Why are my other children not in my house?" Mrs. Tisha Foley tilts her head slightly to the side as she fills a water bottle with tea.

"Ma," Tucker groans, "contrary to your thought process, they do have their own homes to go to."

"No, they don't," she turns around with a raised brow.

Tucker shakes his head in disbelief kissing his mother on the cheek then calling a quick bye to his dad as he exits his house.

The School

Tucker laughs boisterously at April who was telling him about what happened to her older brother. Danny and Sam were chatting lowly with each other on his other side while Michelle silently walked beside April on her side.

"So, Danny," April started hesitantly, "have you been introduced yet?"

"Yep."

"I'm guessing your parents were some of the first people introduced?"

"Right you are."

"Oh my gosh," she groans loudly ignoring the looks she received, "it's like pulling teeth with you. Even Sam talks to people easier than you do. And that's saying something!"

Danny chuckles lowly eyes glinting with amusement. "You know I like to play hard to get."

Michelle chokes causing the whole group to look at her. Her face turns red as she starts to cough. "I have never heard those words come out of your mouth and I never want to hear them again. Like ever," she wheezes placing a hand to her chest.

"Then you don't know Danny, Michelle." Sam laughs lightly looking back down at her phone as the conversation drawls to a close. April leaves to join Kira and Felicity at her locker dragging Michelle with her.

"I'll see you later Tucker," she shoots the black boy a wink.

Mikey stands alone at his locker watching as the trio makes their way down the hall. He smiles softly at the sight of his sister and her best friend talking to them.

"Who are they?" A camera man asks him curiously a hint of intrigue who his voice.

"Why do you want to know?" Mikey asks clutching his locker door in his hand, his knuckles white as he fugitively glances around the hall.

"I'm just curious. Everyone seems to unconsciously get out their way or follow them with their eyes. The dark haired on is the Fenton boy, right?"

"Yeah," his voice gets caught in his throat. He clears his voice, "That's Danny Fenton and his friends." His voice cracks over the boy's name. "The boy with glasses is Tucker Foley and the girl is Sam Manson. The Trio." He reveals eyes shifting around the hallway. "They're actually some of the nicest people in the school, despite the fact that they hardly talk to anyone else besides each other. There was this one time where we were having trouble with the robot, we were making for robotics club, and everyone was at a loss. Tucker, who is exceedingly astounding with technology, was stuck as well. He tried everything to see what the problem was, eventually he called Danny to double check and he found the problem easily. We made a small error in the coding but other than that everything was fine. We won 1st place with that robot." He proudly adjusts his glasses. "And-," the boys eyes shifted to something down the hallway. The man followed his eyes noting that the Fenton boy was looking over his shoulder at the pair. "Sorry, I have to go. Nice talking to you!" He shoves a binder under his arm and slams the locker shut scampering off down the hall.

"That was weird," he hummed.

"What was Conner?"

"Julie, what do you know about the Fenton boy?"

"Virtually nothing other than his name and age. And that he's a real helpful kid." The woman shrugged. "Let's go we have to draw lots on who gets to film who."

The man, Connor, stares down the hall after the trio who disappear around the corner into a classroom.

***)***

The trio go to their homeroom where Danny immediately puts his head down on the desk to take a nap. Sam continues the activities she was doing on her phone. Tucker pulls out a small handheld device to tinker with as one by one the class begins to fill with students. The last to come into the room were of course, the most popular students of the school, the A-List. Which was comprised of the most popular students across each grade level. And although they were nothing but sophomores, they were undoubtedly the top dogs.

Lancer sighed heavily looking over his homeroom that would be his for two more years. He claps his hands to get their attention. "Alright, we have couple minutes till the be-" the bell trills throughout the building. "Never mind. We have a couple minutes till announcements start feel free to do something quietly till then. Please stay in your seats." He goes to his computer to click on the link that allows them to view the announcements then turns on the projector. "Mr. Dunkin, the first row of lights please."

The boy reaches out and flicks the light switch just as the black screen projected on the board burst to life. A colorful opening is shown with cartoon ghosts flying around the screen.

"Good morning, Casper High! Although, it is anything but good. I'm sure you have all noticed the new additions to the town. Please be mindful that there are cameras all over town and campus and that they can see everything you do.

"Your parents should have received a paper concerning the permission to use you at all during the filming process, so please be sure to check with them concerning any questions or problems you have. If your parents said yes then you may or may not be moved to a different classroom depending on whose parents said no and whose said yes. So be prepared for all those movements in the near future. There will also be an assembly that will take up both 1st and 2nd period concerning all the changes happening to the school and the town throughout the course of the show which is scheduled to last until this year's Sophomore class's senior year. So, yay me," April pumps a halfhearted fist into the air with a grimace. "Don't give me that look Glen, I see you behind the camera! Continuing on, the annual Back to School games takes place," she riffles through some papers, "next week. If you have a gym class this year, you are required to participate by default!" Her voice goes up at the end of the sentence. "Are you guys serious! Like be real," she gestures with one hand to the studio around her, "can't I skip out?"

"No, Ms. Sanders." A voice answers tiredly from off camera.

"Well, alright then." She pouts slightly, looking through her notes. She looks up at the camera with a more serious look on her face. "Remember that clubs are still looking for new members, including this one. Casper High Media Club would love to have you, especially you Tucker Foley, who keeps declining all invites. Stop avoiding us, Tucker." She smiles into the camera.

The class laughs at the shout out as Tucker grumbles under his breath.

"Lunch this afternoon is...," her face goes blank, "is apparently not in any of my papers. So, who knows what we're having. The vending machines are, in fact, up in running and I call dibs on going first."

"April!"

"Fine, fine. Please use them at your leisure and wait patiently or they will be taken away." She says robotically. "Oh wait, my phone buzzed." She pulls it out reading whatever was sent to her. "The lunch lady is making lunch today. So, you know it's going to be better than the shit we normally eat. Don't give me that look Mr. Jamison, it's totally true. If you guys don't like what I report then make someone else do it! I've literally told you people so many times to get an A-Lister to do this but nooo, let's make the girl who films the games and hates people to say all this crap in front of the whole school." Her face was screwed up in displeasure her eyes narrowed looking off camera. "Anyway, the weather is going to be sunny with a twenty percent chance of rain, I believe. So, we should be fine. The outside lunch tables are open until the weather starts to get colder, so take advantage of them while you can. The ghost safety assembly hosted by the Fenton's will take place," she looks through her notes again, "Thursday, and it is in fact mandatory, sorry everyone. I still think we should just let Danny or Jazz do the assembly."

"They're not licensed."

"Well Mr. Fenton shouldn't be so," she shrugs, "whatcha gonna do." She shuffles through her papers again making sure that she covered everything. The annual school safety assessment is coming up so remember kids don't tell the truth lord knows this school shoulda been shut down. Someone literally died here. In. A. Locker!"

"And that is all for morning announcements! Ms. Sanders, you have a detention with you name on it!"

"Oh please, put me on the list with Danny, who literally somehow manages to get detention every day, yet does nothing wrong. Explain that would ya. It's gotten to the point where he doesn't even bother checking he just goes in the room and sits down."

"MS. SANDERS!"

"MR. JAMISON!" She mocks.

"Um, we're still recording." Glenn mentions to the pair.

"Detention, rest of the week!"

"I told you to put me on the list! I revoke what I said earlier, Tucker don't do this shit, you'll hate it. Everyone here is TF as in Too Fake."

"That's it your banned!"

"Banned?" She repeats eyebrow raised. "That's racist, banned from the announcements or the club?"

"Its going to be both pretty soon. Cut the camera Mr. Rhe."

"Why were you still streaming anyway Glenn?"

"To show that Mr. Jamison is an ass." The voice behind the camera says as the screen goes black.

"Well, that was interesting, hopefully they get that problem taken care of." Mr. Lancer muses.

A hand shoots into the air.

"Yes, Mr. Dunkin?"

"Is Fenton really on the permanent detention list? Its literally a new school year."

"I will now be taking roll; I also will be changing the seating chart after this." Lancer announces ignoring the boy. "Mr. Baxter."

"Here."

"Ms. Danvers."

"Like, here."

"Mr. Hanlon."

"Present, Mr. Lancer."

"Mr. Ishiyama"

"Here, sir."

"Mr. Lester."

"Present."

"Ms. Sanchez."

"Like here, duh."

"Mr. Daniel Fenton."

The boy silently raises a hand not lifting his head from his desk.

"Mr. Tucker Foley."

"Here."

"Ms. Sanders is currently in trouble. Ms. Samantha Manson."

"Sam."

"Ms. Hanlon is probably with Ms. Sanders. Ms. Bueller."

"Here."

"Mr. Dunkin."

"Here, my dude."

"Mr. Patrick."

"Here."

"Mrs. Dunk- who changed Ms. Fowler's name in the system...again? Ms. Fowler"

"Here." Kira blushed amidst the laughter of her classmates

"And Ms. Grey."

"Here."

"Excellent everyone is here," Mr. Lancer proclaims proudly. "Now we just wait for the announcement. Until then please talk quietly amongst yourselves." He dismisses them going to his desk and pulling a book out to read. A knock is heard on the door, opening to reveal an irate April and a nervous Michelle. "Ms. Sanders how many times must I tell you that you are only allowed this privilege-."

"Because no one else will do it willingly. Stop forcing me to do it and we wouldn't have a problem. Get that damn camera away from me before it gets broken!"

"What's your damage Sanders, did you get kicked from you little club?"

"No," April turns to the Latina girl with a false smile, "their forcing me to do all and every announcement from now on. Not sure how that's a suitable punishment."

The bell sounds from the intercom. "Students please report to the gym for the assembly by grade. Starting with the Freshman. All Freshman please report to the gym. I repeat all Freshman report to the gym. Staff will be patrolling the hallways to catch any stragglers, so don't bother trying to hide." Principal Ishiyama warns. "We are now ready for all Sophomores to head to the gym. All Sophomores to the gym."

"So, Michelle, why didn't you and April go to the gym before everyone to set up?"

"Oh, um...well. April is the only one who knows what cords go where to work the screen and she's not allowed to touch anything so..."

"You're telling me that no one else in your shitty little club besides Sanders," Dash interrupts, "knows how to hook up the screen?"

"Yes."

The class stop in the hallway staring at the girl in disbelief.

"Does Mr. Jamison know how to?" Kira asks intrigued.

"No," April snorts, "he literally has never touched the equipment. Why would he need to know how to set it up?"

"What about Glen?" Kira questions.

"Oh, he got suspended for calling Jamison a bitch."

"Damn," the class agreed collectively. Resuming their walk to the gym.

"I hate assemblies," Danny mumbles stretching out across the bleachers next to Tucker and Sam.

"I forgot to ask but what was the count?" Sam pulls out a notebook from her bag handing Danny his yogurt and water bottle with a slightly green twinge to it.

"Eight, nothing to bad nothing to extreme, but those are the ones I let my parents catch. So... plus the four, or was it three, Skulker attacks, two appearances from Ember, one case of Technus, Fright Knight popping up just to say hey so either fifteen or sixteen. Like I said nothing bad. By the way Tuck, I'm spending the rest of the week at home. I went to Fenton work, got attacked by a new weapon, again, so yeah, I'm staying home."

"Mom was wondering where her "other" children were, asked why you weren't home."

"I shoulda stayed home," Sam huffs, "considering my parents are apparently still trying to have children. And that they have none."

"Oof, well Mom told you guys you should have stayed instead of going back," he says matter of factually. "Oh, look Jazz is here, I thought she was doing college classes in the morning?"

"You know she's not missing any assemblies if she can help it."

"She's coming this way," Sam says lowly mouth barely moving from her thinly veiled polite smile.

"I'm sorry Danny, I really tried to get you out of the filming." She tells him softly.

"Vlad probably signed the paper himself," Danny mused looking amused, "is he still...?"

"Yeah, meant to change that, I'll do it after detention."

"You already have detention!" Jazz yells attracting the attention of all of those around him.

"Were you not here for the announcements. He's on the list, he has detention permanently." Damian Vontez tells the red head. "Sucks by the way, sorry man."

"It's cool." Danny shrugs

"What did you do?" Jazz accuses.

"I haven't done jack shit," Danny hiss at the older girl sitting up and flashing his eyes at her. "Stop accusing me of things you have no idea about. Mind your business, Jazz."

"Before I forget," Tucker speaks up lowly his mouth barely moving as he informs his friends of the recent updates to the system, "I updated the files, videos, and artillery so that's done. Also, during detention I'm going to hack all the cameras simultaneously to see where the blind spots are and what classrooms are safe," he says lowly barely moving his mouth to speak.

Sam nods, "Good work Tech Master." She said it loudly making it look like Tucker had done something to her phone that fixed a problem.

"You're doing what? Why!" Jazz gasps.

"Contrary to common belief I hate having eyes on me," Sam says flippantly. "Ruins the mood really. Plus, TV shows are so mainstream now, just like YouTube."

"Waste these good looks and all my charisma on a camera that adds at least ten pounds," he puts a hand to his heart, "criminal." He then turns to Sam with a cheeky smile, "Stop it," he says with half-hearted gestures, "you'll make me blush."

"And, actually, Jazz I don't want to be a TV star, I want to be an Astronaut."

Those closest to them figured that Jazz confirmed what they already knew, the trio didn't want to be on camera at all.

"I don't think my parents even signed the form," Sam wondered aloud, "considering, well..." she trails off.

"Mine signed it simply because they knew Danny wouldn't be able to get out of it and that he probably had no clue the form existed." Tucker shrugged high fiving Danny.

"Thank you, my best buddy, in the whole wide world."

"Come on guys, it can't be that bad."

"Are you forgetting that you literally barged in my room this morning to tell me about the cameras? Are we forgetting that? I didn't know we were." Danny's brow was raised staring at his sister with masked confusion. "Why are you changing your tune now, Spaz?" He looks around sitting up to speak lowly to his sister, "You're not putting a front on for the camera are you, Ms. Psychologist?"

"Bye Danny," Jazz rolls her eyes breezing away from the trio.

"What crawled up your sister's ass?" April questions from somewhere behind them.

"Who the hell knows," Danny lies back onto the bleachers getting ready to completely ignore the whole assembly.

"Fenton, detention!"

"For what!" Those closest to him ask looking at the boy who seemingly hadn't done anything.

"Sleeping during an assembly." The teacher hisses.

"Can I get lunch detention?" Danny offers.

"Detention, three days." The teacher doubles down as Principal Ishiyama starts the assembly.

"Students, welcome back to Casper High! Today we are..."

***)***

4th period was the time when people started to go to lunch. After the assembly ended, the grades were immediately dismissed to their 3rd periods. Lunch was 4th period to 5th period. Each lunch period was half the class that they were end. Freshman had lunch then went to their 4th. Sophomores had 4th then went to lunch. Juniors had lunch then went to 5th and Seniors had 5th then went to lunch.

Mr. Ranium's 4th period sat boredly in the classroom waiting for the dismissal to go to lunch. The aforementioned teacher didn't even bother trying to teach as he surfed the internet on his computer.

"Are you...going to teach them?" The woman working the camera asks the teacher invasively.

"Teach them what, we have five minutes till lunch and they're slightly ahead of my other classes."

"What class is this?"

"Honors Chemistry. And the assembly made me rework my plans so today is a catch-up day."

"And you're allowed to do this?"

"Who's going to stop me?" He sasses gesturing to the students. "They do not care; they only want food."

"Damn right," Kelly McLaurin agrees her voice slightly accented with a Scottish tinge.

"We've discussed this. Ms. McLaurin."

"I am mostly sorry."

The bell rings allowing the class to gather their things and leave. "Danny," said boy stops turning to the science teacher with curious eyes. "I'm in charge of detention today, you can go."

"Thanks Mr. R," the boy flashes him a grateful smile pausing in the doorway to look back at the teacher with conflicted eyes. Sam pushed herself off the doorway, where she had leaned while waiting for Danny. Tucker moved slightly out of the doorway waiting just outside the door for the other boy. "You're a good one."

"Catch ya later Mr. R!" Sam waves with a wink as Tucker salutes.

The trio disappears from the door leaving the room feeling duller.

"They like you?" The camera woman asks him trying to dig up information.

The teacher hums not looking up from his computer monitor. "After all, who else is going to let them do things randomly with no questions asked?" He laughs finally looking up from his monitor. "They have a lot of Potential energy and I just so happen to be the best at turning that energy into Kinetic." He smiles softly at the woman. "Now get out of my class, I want lunch as well."

I don't own YouTube, if I did, I would be rich.

So, I'm pretty sure the rewrite is longer than the original somehow. Not sure how, but hey I'm okay with it. I honestly like this way better than the original if I'm being honest. Like it just feels better.

I would have written the assembly but ya girl got tired and was like...line skip.
