And Tell Us

Something that I forgot is that the whole world will watch this show basically at the same time or within minutes of each other the episodes are pre-recorded as any show until they're not *evil laugh*

Updated Revised version. Enjoy the chapter!

Disclaimer- I DO NOT own Danny Phantom or its character but I do own the stories plot and some character. And I do not own any character name that you see in my story that you see in others just to cover that as well.

I am also gonna clarify that it has been a few days since the camera's got in town. So, they got there on a Monday but this episode aired on Wednesday. It takes the crew approximately 1 ½ -2 days to gather footage for each episode and not as long to edit and decide what they want to put in each episode...mostly .

[The episode opens with a shot of the Welcome to Amity Park sign in all its charred and torn glory. The image flashed to the sign looking perfectly normal then back to the sign in its current state. Where it one read "The Happiest Place to Live! It now read "The Hauntedest Place to Live with a small cartoon ghost drawn under the exclamation mark instead of a dot.]

[It was no surprise that the first people to appear on camera were the Fenton's "driving" down the road in the Fenton Family Assault Vehicle. At first it seemed that all the citizens were unaware of the cameras that were filming them going through their day-to-day activities. All accept the mayor who appeared on screen sitting in his office chair with his hands placed in a classic villain pose.]

"Hello, and welcome to Amity Park! I am the mayor Vladimir Masters but you can call me Vlad. Is there anything you would like to know before I send you on your way? And I just want to thank you one more time for this amazing opportunity."

Are there really ghosts?

"Why of course there are. We have ghost problems that occur on a regular basis and as such we a blessed to have two of my college friends here to aid and protect us."

Who are your friends

"The Fenton's, Jack," his face scrunches his moth clinched, "and Maddie," his face smooths out as he looks wistfully to his right.

[Flashes of people and places in the town play across the screen as if it were a slide show. Snippets of the citizens lives play across the screen with tranquil music playing. It then fades to a more exciting song as an explosion is shown. There were clips of news reals from Amity Park, fights taken from cameras, all showing ghosts and the citizens reactions to them. From ghost robbing stores to them fighting the town. The music then turns into a combination of tranquil and exciting showing the ghost and the humans cohabitating showing the audience that the ghost are a part of the town adding the excitement to the otherwise calm town.]

[A brick building is shown with an odd shape on top and an insanely bright neon sign that reads Fenton Works on the sire. The camera focuses on the door as it swings open revealing a tall redheaded smartly dressed teenager.]

"Hello, and welcome to Fenton Works. Wrist Rays are $15, Lipstick Blasters are $5, Ecto-Pistols are $20, Specter deflects are pretty easily made and it looks like you'll need them in bulk; so, I'm sure we can agree upon a price. If you need anything specially made then I'm sure we can work something out for that as well. I'm just realized how rude I was being, I apologize. My name is Jazz Fenton."

[The camera takes in the clean-living room as the sound of metal hitting the wall resounds throughout the room. Jack Fenton appears in all his big orange glory. He was larger than life, his presence filled the room with enthusiasm. He had black hair with the back shaved although it was obviously greying, he was an impressive height with clear and joyful blue eyes. The orange jumpsuit was like a beacon projecting his presence to everyone around him.]

"It's done the Fenton Sweeper is finally done!"

The Fenton Sweeper?

"Yes, the Fenton Sweeper! Wait, Jazzy-pants, who are they. Do they want to talk about ghost? If that's the case, I am Jack Fenton expert ghost hunter. Pleasure to meet you!"

We're here on the recommendation of the mayor.

"Vladdy sent you? Oh, you must be the folks coming to film us. Honey the camera people are here!"

"I'm going to wake Danny, for school."

"If you could follow me to the kitchen where my lovely loving wife is working on more inventions."

[The Fenton's continued their introductions then the scene switches to families introducing themselves. The teens in the city seemed to get special introductions in alphabetical order, in particularly for one specific homeroom class taught by the Vice Principal of Casper High School Mr. Edward Lancer. Starting with Megan and ending with April.]

[The teens appeared in the order of Megan Bueller, Star Danvers, Dylan Dunkin, Daniel Fenton, Tucker Foley, Kira Fowler, Valerie Grey, Michelle and Mikey Hanlon, Kwan Ishiyama, Nathan Lester, Samantha Manson, Guillian Patrick, Paulina Sanchez, ending with April Sanders. Their first and last names were displayed in coloured font that represented them giving the audience a small inkling as to who they were as people. The font appeared to be the teens actual handwriting, Paulina, Megan, and Star had similar handwriting with all the letters being the same size aka the "popular" girl handwriting.]

[Teens were seen walking down a street idly chatting with each other while ignoring the camera. The two noiretts spared the camera no looks as they met up with a black boy. The trio cross the street coming across two girls one black and one white. The names of the teens appear above their heads as the camera pans across the group.]

"Oh," the April says upon noticing them, "hey guys. Why are you going this early?"

Sam waves in acknowledgment while Danny grunts and Tucker smiles.

"Trying to avoid all this," Tucker explains gesturing to the camera following them closely. "Have you been introduced yet?" Tucker asks the girls with a smile, amusedly side-eyeing the camera that was following them at a distance.

"Yeah, it was weird." Michelle reveals

"More than weird, it was annoying and uncomfortable."

"April stops over reacting you mess around with a camera basically all day." Her friend counters rolling her eyes.

"Okay and?" The black girls says, "That's different."

[The scene switches tow Casper High School students lining the halls making way for the cameras but not each other. A boy gets shoved into a locker pounding adamantly on it form the inside but the boy who pushed him in ignores it, high fiving his friends. Leaning against the locker as a pretty girl strolls up to use the locker beside the one he was leaning on. They both ignore the sound of pounding, startling slightly as an unamused Dylan walks up to the locker opening it and catching the boy before he hits the ground. They talk briefly then separate flipping both the girl and boy his middle finger over his shoulder.]

What's it like at Casper High?

"Hell."

"It's high school."

"It is simply amazing."

"I love it here!"

"It is quite enjoyable."

"I do not want to be here."

Who are the who's who of the school?

"Well, the sophomores have this thing called the A-Listers and once that got around each grade has an elite group of students called the A-List. I'm a senior so I only know it by reputation but give me a second to find a sophomore for you." The senior boy smiles at the camera glancing around the hallway with eagle sharp eyes. "Oye!" The halls stop briefly attention turning to the man simply resuming after his yell. "I need a sophomore!"

"Here!" A voice calls as a girl comes over with a bright smile. "Crystal Hathaway, at your service."

What is the A-List

The girls smile falls away as she starts to fiddle with her hoodie string. "The A-List are the top dogs of the school. They rule the school. Some kids in my grade started it in middle school and it's been around since then. The founders are Paulina Sanchez, Dash Baxter, Kwan Ishiyama, and Star Danvers. Then others got invited into it along the way. Valerie Grey was a member up until recently. And...," she trails off eyes darting around the hallway, "Danny Fenton was able to join quite a few times and one of those times ended with Kwan being kicked out."

Really? How was that able to happen?

"So, what had happened was...," her eyes cut to the side looking at something off camera. Her eyes go wide. She smiles tightly looking back into the camera, "Unfortunately I have to go! It was great talking to you!"

[The camera turns in the direction Crystal Hathaway had stared off into finding the Fenton boy staring at them from down the hallway leaning next to the locker that Tucker was rifling through. He looks directly into the camera, sending chills down the man's spine, he breathes a sigh of relief when the teen looks away.]

[The camera turns to a short scrawny red head admiring a group of teens from afar. Mikey stands alone at his locker watching as the trio makes their way down the hall. He smiles softly at the sight of them.]

"Who are they?"

"Shouldn't you already know that? Why do you want to know?" Mikey asks clutching his locker door in his hand, his knuckles white as he fugitively glances around the hall.

"I'm just curious. Everyone seems to unconsciously get out their way or follow them with their eyes. The dark haired on is the Fenton boy, right?"

"Yeah," his voice gets caught in his throat. He clears his voice, "That's Danny Fenton and his friends." His voice cracks over the boy's name. "The boy with glasses is Tucker Foley and the girl is Sam Manson. The Trio." He reveals eyes shifting around the hallway. "They're actually some of the nicest people in the school, despite the fact that they hardly talk to anyone else besides each other. There was this one time where we were having trouble with the robot, we were making for robotics club, and everyone was at a loss. Tucker, who is exceedingly astounding with technology, was stuck as well. He tried everything to see what the problem was, eventually he called Danny to double check and he found the problem easily. We made a small error in the coding but other than that everything was fine. We won 1st place with that robot." He proudly adjusts his glasses. "And-," the boys eyes shifted to something down the hallway. The man followed his eyes noting that the Fenton boy was looking over his shoulder at the pair. "Sorry, I have to go. Nice talking to you!" He shoves a binder under his arm and slams the locker shut scampering off down the hall.

[A black girl stands at her locker trying unsuccessfully to get it open, as a boy walks by hitting it as he goes by stopping to chat with her. The locker swings open as the pair start a conversation.]

"...All I'm saying is, this locker gets stuck every year. Usually, Danny or Tucker would be here to hit it, but either they were early, they were late, or I missed them."

Excuse me. Could I ask you a few questions?

"Sure, go right ahead."

What is your status

"Oh," she laughs awkwardly, "I'm a neutral. I don't really have a status. I'm one of the unclassified. So, I can talk to everyone, but I have to be careful of talking to a certain group too much or I become a known neutral or a loser neutral. That might not make sense to you, but it makes a huge difference here."

"I'm a known neutral," the boy shrugs popping his gum and locking his fingers behind his head. "I mainly associate with the Populars or Preps depending on my mood. People know me, they know my name, hence known neutral."

The ranking system was only briefly described to me could you give me a more In-depth version?

[The girl blinks cutting a fugitive eye to the boy next to her, he inclines his head slightly dropping his arms, resting them in the front pocket of his jeans.]

"Well, the top is the A-List, of course, then I would say the Populars, then the Preps, not to be mistaken with the Populars there is in fact a difference, -"

"The Pops are more involved with the A-List actively, they also get treated better than the Preps."

"Yes, thank you, Jordan. Um then we have the Neutrals, I.e., us, but the Neutrals are broken up into three categories, the Preps are broken into two, but its only upper and lower. After us we have the Drifters, who basically are Neutrals that are free to actually talk to anyone with no consequences because they are on the lower end of the totem. So, they can talk freely with the bottom of the barrels."

"Yeah, now I'm gonna provide some examples for ya. See that boy," the camera follows his finger to a boy wearing a letterman jacket, "that there is a Popular, sufficiently so but not an A-Lister, Owen Micheals number 4, Junior Varsity. Mikhala Mumphry, the girl next to him, is a Prep, preps typically have favor among teachers, hence her talking to one as they walk by."

[The camera follows the pair stopping at another pair of students.]

"Those two are: a Drifter, the girl Betsy Dunebrow, and a Busi, the boy Patrick Parker. Now Penny, didn't get to Busi's so I'm gonna explain them. A Busi is a kid that typically has a hand in making parties a little bit more fun, if ya know what I mean. Now I bet you're wondering why they aren't lower or why they have their own category. Ya see, -" The camera focuses back on the pair as the hallway fills with more students.

"They are a little too known to be all the way at the bottom. But they are not really sufficient enough to be associated with the top. It's not just the party favors that get them in this category but its people that can do things or get things for you for the right price. Dustin, can get you homework passes for the whole school year. That's why he is Busi. Neat right?"

"Yes, thank ya Penny. Next, we have the Nobodies not to be confused with our last category the Losers. Nobodies are the goth freaks, the weirdos, the DND kids, the strange girl that wears cat ears... ya I'm talking about you Jenny Tosar!" He shouts at the girl walking by wearing said cat ears, scoffing as she flips him off. "Damn weirdo, shoulda known she was a fucking furry, bitch used to meow and shit."

"Anyway, the Losers are your typical people you find in this category, you band greeks, choir kids, academic club members, any one in any school club that is not sports related really, but there are exceptions, considering that Valerie Grey was in BETA and an A-List so, it all depends on the person and their overall status."

"Alright, Skinny Red Head, Mikey Hanlon, Loser," He juts his chin down the hall as the boy is shoved in a locker. "You were talking to him earlier, mistake. Do better."

"Emily Silverstone, LOSER!" Penny shouts at the girl walking wither her books clutched to her chest. "Bitch can't keep her clothes on. Stop sleeping with people above you, whore! Better example, Kira Fowler, loser. Looking at her you might think Drifter or Neutral, but she hangs out with Felicity Taylor and Michelle Hanlon, so they bring her status down," the girl smiles titling her head to the side. "But she does talk to Dylan Dunkin quite frequently, who is a Prep by the way, simply because he does basketball, so she might get moved up soon

"Let me do April Sanders, got a feeling you'll see her a lot, girl is hella involved. Status also suffers because of Michelle and Felicity, gets bonus for talking to the Trio, takes guts, she's a trooper, I was gonna say Drifter but she and the A-List bumps heads to frequently for her to be so high on the Loser Totem so...I guess she's a loser too."

"So, you said Busi is a category yet it seems like not a lot of people are in it?"

"Well yeah, but like I said that's for people with connects if you ain't got connections then that category doesn't apply to ya. It's like a bonus really, it's just so we can identify who ta talk to." Jordan shrugs offhandedly. He perks up with a smirk catching sight of a familiar group of friends. "Now those 3 are the bottom of the totem simply because Dash's main target is Danny Fenton himself, which makes him the ultimate Loser. He and his weird and freaky yet smoking friends, the smoking is for Manson by the way, girl has grown a little, got a little cushion for the pushing, if ya know what I mean." He laughs rubbing his hands together and licking his lips. "Anyway, those 3 are about as bottom as ya get, even Mikey's higher than those dweebs, or at least, that's what everyone wants ya ta think. But I'm gonna let ya in on a little secret, Mr. Camera Man," he smiles mischievously.

"Jordan, that's enough, we've already over shared."

"Names Conner."

"Alright Conner," he looks around gesturing for him to come closer.

"Jordan!"

"Oh, hush Penny, I'm fine, you on the other hand, might wanna skedaddle." A boy walks up to the three startling them.

"Jordan."

"Gregory, my good pal, care to spill some information with me?"

"What?" A succulent eye brow was raised. "Oh, you mean about the Trio. It's simple really. They don't really have a social ranking but they get lumped in with the Nobodies and Losers although they are anything but that. They are held at a higher standard and position than a normal loser and their too noticeable to be considered Neutrals. Technically if you want to cause some chaos, they are at the same standing as the A-List when you think about it. The same rules apply to them treatment wise by students, not staff, yet the A-List are the only ones that truly mess with them."

"Fascinating"

"Yeah, that's cool and all, but I gotta go." Penny finishes putting her things away waving as she makes her way past the three remaining at her locker.

"Didn't you say Danny or Tucker opens your locker for you?"

She stops short, "That's not important, just because we said no one really talks to them doesn't mean they're not cool people. Some of the greatest people you'll ever get to know, especially once this high school bullshit is over. It doesn't help that Danny and those blues are super hot, I'd love to take him for a spin. But Manson would do me like she did Valerie and break us up, or at least, that's the rumor on the street." She flashes a smile at the camera walking away as it moves to the group of four mentioned in the conversation.

[The camera focuses on the group of April, Kira, Michelle, and Felicity as the four talk about their morning activities.]

"Don't you have to make your way to the media room to practice for the announcements?" Kira asks the girls while checking her nails. She smiles at Dylan as he walks past, purposely bumping into her shoulder.

[Behind her back Felicity and Michelle make kissy faces at each other, stopping once Kira turns to look at them. It goes comically silent before the group burst into laughter. April nods to the three girls making her way down the hall to the media room where her doom awaits her. Glen Rhe, the camera boy for the club, waves to her upon noticing her arrival. She sits in the chair designated for the announcements and breathes a sigh.]

"We're up in 1!"

"Let's get this shit show on the road, people! Penelope, where are my papers? Gerard, who's supposed to be on sound, 'cause I am definitely sure it is not you. Henry," the girl pinches the bridge of her nose, "put down those cords if you don't know what to do with them." April orders in rapid speed.

"We're on, in 3, 2, 1!"

"Good morning, Casper High! Although, it is anything but good…."

[The students throughout the school laugh boisterously at the morning announcements much to their teacher's displeasure. Many students had, in truth, tried to be the morning announcements announcer but apparently April was the best bet the school had, because not only was she unconsciously funny she was also exceedingly blunt and honest always saying all the news without any prejudice. The scene focuses on Lancer's home room who pay little attention the announcements except for when they hear something interesting. Despite the comedic effect of having April host the morning announcements no one in the class ever truly paid any attention to them.]

Lunch, Sophomore Class 4th period

[The lunchroom was bustling with activity as the students milled about the room getting food and finding a place to sit. The camera crew were told that lunch had changed from last year because it was easier for the teachers to keep track of students. The camera finds the pruple clothed back of Sam Manson standing in line with a girl dressed similarly to her. The goth teens seem to be in a deep conversation that gets interrupted as food is thrown at the pair.]

"Devil worshipers!"

"Hail Satan," Sam said blandly flipping off the religious nuts.

[Tucker appears next to the pair with an apologetic look, he glares at the religious kids to leave making them scatter. He turns to face the goth girls who flick the food off of them with grimaces. Lunch Lady, the first ghost to appear on camera smiles at the girls ignoring the kids in front of her.]

"Hello, dearies. Those kids sure are something considering how nice Satan is," she muses to the amusement of the teens. "Where is Pha-Fenton?"

"Honestly, he might be securing the table. Later Annabelle."

"Bye Sam, thanks for the tips!" The girls grab their food and go on their separate ways.

[The pair make their way through the cafeteria dodging the food war happening between the class clown tables in order to make their way to the back of the cafeteria where Danny sits with a notebook open in front of him. He hears his friends coming, shutting the book just as they sit down. Their table was the farthest from the A-list yet the closets the exit doors.]

"Lunch Lady asked where you were, didn't get lunch?" Tucker garbles around a mouthful of food.

[Danny just shrugged pulling out a paper bag with a half-smile. Face twitching in disgust as a speck of foods lands on the table in front of him. Sam makes a disgusted face smacking the boy lightly on the shoulder.]

[The camera turns from the scene to focus of the table in the very center of the cafeteria. Paulina Sanchez sat with a compact open in her hand, many of the other females at the table following her examples. The boys were flinging food at the passing students high fiving when a shot hits someone in the face. There was a good chunk of students at the table.]

"Thesan, have you talked to Diego about providing those favors for us?"

"No, sorry Pauli, I forgot."

Paulina gives her a perfectly charming smile, "Don't forget again or I'll forget you're invite."

"So... Fenton's pretty cool." A boy speaks up.

"And you," Star points to the boy with a brow pencil, "need a new seat. You're a Prep and Preps don't sit with us."

"He's on the detention list for the whole school year, that's pretty badass," a boy wearing a leather jacket chuckles leaning back in his chair and placing his feet on the table.

"Damien, shut up." Megan snaps.

"Hey now," he raises his palms in defeat, "just saying. Kids pretty cool for someone with those kooky ass parents. And Jazz is pretty hot. Too bad she has a major stick up her ass."

"You make my blood boil," Megan hisses. "He's not even all that."

[All the girls at the table turn to look at her. "Mhmm." They hum rolling their eyes.]

"Oh, yah," a girl with a french accent speaks, "cause ze wee Fenton boy doezn't make yer undies vet vith vone look. Tis vhy I can't hold ze eye contact the 'im. It iz um... sedusant? No? Um... comment dit-on um attrayant et attractif? Tu vois ce que je veux dire? No?"

"No." Dash says simply.

"Oh! Um...Pauline um pouvez-vous traduire en anglais? S'il vous plaît?"

"I get the jist of what you're saying," Anna, a girl with honors French laughs, "basically Fenton is panty dropper, ladies. She said he is seductive. Then she said how do you say alluring and attractive. The she said do you get what I mean. And she asked Paulina if she could translate to English and she said please."

"That iz very good, Anne, zank you."

"I try," the girl shrugs blushing as her hands with a smile.

"See, even frenchy has a lady boner for the kid." Damien laughs winking at the girl.

"Just like Dash has a regular boner for him."

"Shut up Jason, before I make you eat my fist."

[The cafeteria changes to a classroom showcasing teachers teaching and teens being teens. Day turns to night with families eating dinner and watching TV together. The montage briefly stops at the Fenton house that has three more people than usual.]

[The Fenton's are sitting around their dinner table doing various activities. On the screen a question mark appears along with the outline of a body in the empty 4th chair. Jazz briefly looks at the chair then at her phone as it buzzes on the table. She lets out a sigh of relief bidding her parents good night as she heads upstairs.]

[A cartoonish ghost flies on screen flying closer to the screen splattering itself all over the lens blocking everything from view. The camera is cleaned revealing all of Amity Park waving at the camera with smiles.]

"Come back for more!"

"That was lame," a teens voice is heard followed quickly by the sounds of a hit.

"Shut up and wave."

[The episode ends with an ominous sounding piano tone playing while a picture slowly falls to the floor. The camera zooms in on the picture showing the Mr. Lancer's class as freshman. It starts moving showing them growing and changing till it gets to present day. A brief flash of them scared covered in blood is shown on the photo seeming like a trick of the light. The sound of a match striking and flames sizzling as Fenton works is burned down appears in the photo next. The town in shambles with the teens grouped together back facing the photographer yet looking noticeable older as they stand untied against an ominous figure hidden in gray fog.]

Stay Tuned!

A/N: Sorry about the delay with the chapters. But anyway, the last bit of screen description is a surprise tool that'll help us later...or not. A few changes here and there but that's about it, nothing to monumental. I don't speak French and yeah...The ranking was something I came up with on the fly so let me know what you think. Ah yes me and my love for using random characters to help drive the plot forward. Next chapter is a reaction, of course, we'll see how that goes. But Read and Review and feel free to leave a comment or two!
