Hi, guys! I'm a little late but that's okay. There's a lot to be established during this chapter. I have a lot to write so lets get on with! Before we start, I want to thank you all for the love and support I have been getting on this fanfiction. All that said, lets get started!

Naruto trudged out of his apartment door and walked straight to his destination. He was excited for the first time in a long time because of the fact that he would be joining the Academy. Now don't get him wrong, he could care less about the academy itself, but the prospect of being a shinobi excited the young boy.

He ignored the usual jeers thrown at him, he had been at the receiving end at them for a long, long time. He could care less if they were thrown at him anymore. All that he cared about was giving the village their due punishment.

'I'm late but that doesn't matter.' He thought, smirking as he recalled when he destroyed his 52nd alarm clock. The alarm clock woke him up at 8:00 in the morning when the academy had begun at 7:30. Naturally, it evoked his short temper, resulting in its last breaths.

Finally, he had arrived at the large building that read 'Konoha Academy.' Scoffing, he entered the building and looked at his crumbled up paper. '2B' Naruto thought before racing towards the stairs and climbing them swiftly.

In no time, he was already at the second floor and located the 2B Room. As he entered, he was greeted by stares and whispers amongst the children, some whom were familiar to him.

"Good morning, Naruto. So great of you to join us." Iruka, the instructor, said sarcastically. His tone was riddled with masked hate and his face betrayed no emotions. Naruto could tell though that the man obviously detested him.

Naruto didn't respond, leveling the man a cold glare. 'Of course, he's like the rest of them. Glad I didn't get my hopes up.' He thought, unfazed by the man's apparent hatred.

He picked a seat next to a shy, blue-haired girl. On her desk, it stated that her name was 'Hinata Hyuga,' though he could care less. "What are we learning?" He asked her. He needed to catch up on the information missed due to his tardiness.

Due to her stuttering problem and knowing Naruto's reputation around the village, Hinata could not deliver this information. "We-we lear-learne-" Naruto cut her off, annoyed at her stutter. "Spit it out already!" He forced, his face red.

Hinata's eyes watered and just then did Naruto realize that the whole class, including Iruka was watching him. How could someone make someone as nice as Hinata cry? Just then, Naruto realized he had made a lot of enemies.

It was lunch and Naruto was sitting on his own at a separate table. No one had bothered to sit with him due to his status around the village and his newly-attained status as the 'mean one' in class.

"Fine, I don't need them anyway." Naruto muttered under his breathe. His ambitions were way farther along than any of theirs and he didn't need their mindless babbling getting in the way of his plans.

Suddenly, he felt a presence make a seat for himself next to him. He turned to see a boy with dark, spiky hair that reached his chin and had two bangs in the front. He had charcoal black eyes and was wearing a blue, high-collar shit and some khaki shorts.

"Who said you could sit here?" Naruto inquired coldly.

"I didn't realize this table was created for you, asshole." The boy, Sasuke, responded sourly.

Naruto didn't respond and opted to ignore the boy's following rants. He picked at the academy food and blanched at the taste, but continued eating because he had nothing else.

"Hey, are you even listening?!" Sasuke shouted, peeved at being ignored. It seemed he had just realized that the blonde boy had been ignoring his very presence from the very beginning.

"No." Naruto responded, his face stuffed with the below-average food. "There is nothing you are saying that is worthwhile. How about you shut up, that's more meaning than anything you could ever muster up."

"Fine!" Sasuke retorted, slamming his fists on the table and leaving the table. "You were lame anyway." He said loud enough for Naruto to hear. The hated boy shrugged, continuing to formulate his master plans.

He watched in semi-amusement as the fangirls of the academy raced to find an available spot near Sasuke and speak to him. He scoffed at Konoha's academy. He had been expecting nothing from their academic and physical departments but the kunoichis they were molding were just pathetic.

The bell ringing was enough for the boy to stand up and remove himself from the lunchroom, hiking up the stairs and back to the classroom, where his next pathetic lesson awaited.

The classroom was full and Naruto was trying his hardest to be attentive to the honestly sad presentation about shinobi life. Their presentations were nothing like real life and a folly to get civilians more accustomed to the shinobi lifestyle.

"To be honest," Naruto started loudly, getting the classroom's attention. Iruka turned to the boy with an inquisitive face, somehow in spite of his hatred for the young jinchuuriki. "This is a whole load of crap." He finished, getting resounding gasps from the class.

Iruka bristled at the boy's smirk and asked, "Then how about you come up and show the class, know-it-all?!" He challenged, motioning for the boy to teach.

The blonde-haired boy stood up from his desk and walked over to where Iruka stood. He grabbed the slide remote roughly out of the man's hand.

"Let me show you the real world." Naruto said, before switching the slide to an actual scene. There was blood and gore everywhere and the class grimaced in shock and disgust. Even Iruka, a shinobi, winced at the gruesome images shown on the screen.

"This is real life." Naruto said, grinning at his success. It seemed that everyone single one of his classmates was disturbed by his actions and he could care less.

Iruka finally came off the sidelines and screamed at the juvenile academy student. "What do you think you're doing?! They are academy students, they don't need to know this yet!" He shouted in pure rage.

"Show yourself out!" Iruka pointed to the door in enraged enthusiasm.

Naruto strolled out of the class, leaving shocked class in his wake. There was an uncomfortable gloom that washed over the class.

Iruka, sensing the harm done at Naruto's words, tried to console the class. "While the things he said and showed were true, your will and desire to protect and serve Konoha will always allow you to prevail over of the hardships of a ninja's life." He spoke eloquently.

The class cheered and the mood was immediately washed away, or so they thought. A hand raised up from the sea of faces and the hand was easily identified. It was Sasuke's.

Hi, guys. I'm sorry that this chapter is so short but I have other priorities I have to take care of and I'm getting really tired for some reason. I hope I can push through tomorrow and make a 2k word chapter. Until then, cya!
