Chapter 8. Deception
The group stopped at Spencer's command right before boarding the water craft. He turned, facing them while shaking his head with disappointment written all over his expression.
"You all gave into me this easily without even putting up the slightest fight. How disappointing this is. And here I thought the lot of you had more potential."
Both unfamiliar figures standing on either side of the group suddenly began groaning in agony while disintegrating into an unpleasant pile of waste. They must have been someone's replicas. All stood in silence for a moment, the small group looking dumbfounded beyond belief. Sarene reluctantly focused tired eyes on the one who had brought so much misery upon her but also pleasure. She hesitated for a brief moment until stepping forward feeling courageous enough to ask the question most likely everyone there was thinking. She clenched both fists looking directly at him.
"Amar wasn't real to begin with then? Is that what we've failed to realize while not wanting to find out badly enough? According to you, of course."
He sneered at this unexpected shift in disposition grabbing a tense yet soft mandible, returning her low growl of a response with one of his own.
"Precisely. Now, you all shall return back to your chambers...Unless anyone wishes to fight for their own chance to become like "Amar"."
His grip tightened til her eyes grew watery at last feeling relief when a surprising release came. It wasn't quite like Oswell to show mercy without having another beg for it- especially with Sarene.
"All of you get out of my sight until told otherwise. Just remember, I shall be watching...Even from outside."
He clasped icy hands behind a taut back contemplating the next move. That headache came back again. He sensed his sultry vixen approaching him once more. She certainly chose to tempt fate tonight.
Sarene couldn't let this go. How come he treated her this way for all of these years? The man- or creature as she preferred- was supposed to be her father.
'This is the last straw. He's taken advantage of me for long enough. Even if it means getting humiliated in front of everyone else, it's worth the embarrassment.'
Just as she readied herself to engage in combat, a hand tightly went around her waist, pulling the now gasping woman close. Brutus had the same idea as Albert but he hadn't reacted as fast. Before anyone else noticed, he followed nearest to Sasha hearing her whisper "I noticed what you tried to do just now. It's fine though, she knows you truly care and that's what is most important. He can't even compare to you when it comes to this."
Brutus smiled at Sasha thanking her while everyone else walked on ahead.
"Thank you, Sasha. I'm not sure what I would have done without you two. Still...something is out of place. I don't believe Spencer to be the mastermind behind this malice. We need to react quickly before it is too late."
"I can't agree more."
Shockingly enough, no one opposed to the two pairing up and going to Sasha's room. Hunk and Krauser left the others to their own devices making certain everyone had their own space.
Meanwhile the two spies were devising plans of their own having the full intention to make their allies aware when possible. Their plan was to create a diversion while somehow killing off Spencer, Marcus and Albert. Ironically, Sasha and Brutus were both discussing a similar plan. Just before parting ways with the pair, both noticed Sarene look to them for help as she ascended the stairs, still pressed firmly against her current captors side. All they could do was exchange sympathetic gazes while parting. No one wanted to make trouble again...At least not yet. Not until it actually stood for something.
Before Albert could lead her any further towards the elevator which eventually would lead to his room, she once again worked up enough courage to say otherwise.
"Stop. I don't want to go with you. Let go of me and leave me-"
He grabbed a fistful of hair, diminishing all confidence that once dwelt within the hopeful young woman. Hardly any effort or pressure had been applied to bring her on trembling knees only one hand pulling, forcing an obstinate head to look upwards. She glared menacingly back, retaliating in the only way possible so as to prevent further pain. Hands instinctively clutched around the source of her heads searing agony firmly holding onto a hardened wrist. A whimper released as he forcibly pressed her unwilling head against his crotch, rubbing a flushed cheek against an already throbbing erection.
"You will willingly take care of me until temporary satisfaction is achieved. If not then you, my dear, will feel nothing of the sort throughout the night."
A strained gasp let out as he provided a chance to speak greatly reducing his painful hold.
"And if I refuse?"
A smirk tugged at his wicked lips those malevolent, reptilian eyes burning with lustful desire.
"Then suffer the consequences like the good little martyr you are."
A once frigid gaze softened as the rest of her grew limp in his hold. He let go, knowing fully well she knew where she stood with him. There was no possible way she could defeat him- at least not alone.
He stepped back, allowing enough room for her to stand. Unsteady hands hardly kept her from falling flat on her face. After a brief moment of regaining self-composure and silently praying for this to somehow get better, she shakily stood, leaning against the wall for support in the process. It had never been this taxing before; something as little as standing. Then again, she wasn't dealing with a human being. There was no possible way he could be human after barely exerting any force at all which had her fighting back tears and gritting strained teeth. She watched how his muscles hardly flexed, wondering if any trace of humanity remained within this thing.
'He chose to be just like Spencer...No. Perhaps something worse. Dare I think it. He could potentially be controlling Spencer along with several others.'
Questions raced throughout her anxious mind while waiting for the elevator to release them. If he wanted her only to himself for this one night then she made damn sure to give him an experience he wouldn't forget; hopefully a traumatizing one at that. She wanted this finished already before anything even started.
