The red leaves covering up the autumn section of the Click Clock Wood proved to be quite refreshing for many who came to it after going through the summer section... or the residents who literally had to live through the intense drought. Whatever the case, the autumn proved to be a bright and colorful escape, a greatly appreciated one at that.
"...which is why we're back here collecting all these golden musical notes!" Banjo exclaimed as he placed away the music notes into his yellow shorts, with Kazooie groaning as she shook her head.
"Banjo, can't we just do this at another time?" Kazooie said as she was munching on the bright blue eggs she had stored in the blue backpack, with the duo having collected far too much. "I mean, we haven't gone to the other areas..."
"I'm sure we'll tackle them eventually!" Banjo stated with confidence as he tried his best to comfort Kazooie, who groaned as she shook her head, with Banjo running around the giant tree as they headed upwards.
Dry Bowser was racing through the Grumble Volcano as he usually did, humming to himself as he was about to enter into the volcano itself... only for him to fall right through a warp portal that appeared below him! When the skeletal reptile popped out of the vortex, he saw that he was high in the red tree of the Click Clock Wood, being in the autumn section as he sighed.
"We're doing this again, huh?" Dry Bowser remarked as a bunch of leaves somehow fell onto him despite being at the highest point of the forest, burning it off him with his blue fireballs as he then placed his bony hands on his hip bones. "Now how do I get down from here without breaking into pieces...?"
The Click Clock Wood appeared to be in good spirits... but it sure was stinky as the usual inhabitants went hibernating a bit earlier due to the presence of Humba Wumba farting, who was making quite the flatulent outburst with a pooting Tooty.
"Humba feel that this place good place to unwind," Humba stated as she and Tooty were breaking wind on the rotting beehive overlooking the giant flower, fanning the air.
"Ooh, is this forest gonna stink!" Tooty giggled as she clapped her hands together, having a variety of high pitched toots. "What about the leaves, though?"
Humba smiled as she brushed her hair to the side with her other hand, tooting a sloppy fart. "Well, they'll just become even more brown than usual, much like the back of Humba's smelly shorts!"
Space Ghost teleported into his studio as he noticed all of the red, yellow, and orange leaves, squinting his eyes as he cleared his throat.
"What is with this mess?" Space Ghost demanded as he was not in a mood.
"Oh, they just popped up because Zorak decided to head to those woods that click and clock." Moltar explained as he was decorating his control room with red and golden feathers.
"Yeah, it was the least I could do to make you mad," Zorak pointed out as he had yellow musical notes dotted around his musical prison pod.
Space Ghost zapped Zorak with his Destructo Ray as he then pointed at Moltar. "All right, armor man, pull that lever and get me a warp portal."
"...Fine, whatever..." Moltar sighed as he pulled the lever, with a portal leading right into the Click Clock Wood's crimson fall section.
Space Ghost then gathered all the leaves and pushed them into the warp, adding even more leaves to the leaf harvest of the forest, with there being too many leaves as they got into the pool of water, with Space Ghost not commenting on how many leaves were drifting away in the water as he went back to the studio, the portal closing. This seemed to be all and well... until the Phantom Cruiser crashed into the tree, causing the entire fantasy forest to catch on fire.
