Mary Sue
The birthday party on August 11th was for Ginny alone because Aquamarine went out very early in the morning and came back rather late. Ginny saw her sister in quite a good mood, so she entered Aquamarine's room.
"The present for you is on your table." Ginny took out a small box wrapped in green.
"Thanks," Aquamarine greeted as she changed her clothes. "Come sit."
Ginny found a beautiful blue crystal necklace with a shiny silver chain on Aquamarine's neck, "They gave you that?"
"Who?"
"Those friends of yours. The necklace is really pretty."
Aquamarine's smile got sweeter, a layer of pink appeared on her cheek, "Uncle Sev bought me that~" She glanced at Ginny, "I'll give you one on your birthday too."
"Our birthday is on the same day."
Ginny felt a bit of sweet revenge as her sister's pink cheeks slowly turned red.
"Never mind. It's okay if you forgot."
"Who said I forgot? Look, what is this?" Aquamarine took out a paper box in a huff, "I did prepare a gift."
I am not complaining about the gift, Ginny thought. But instead, she said "Yay I'm so happy thank you so much" and returned to her room.
Inside the box was a pair of gorgeous dancing shoes, so dazzling and ornate, and also very showy. You could tell they were made from dragon skin by one look, so Ginny wasn't planning to check the price. A box of colour pencils for a pair of dragon skin shoes… Merlin. I can give Luffy my old shoes now.
Ginny put down her shoes and slammed the ceiling with the broom.
Ghogho, today is my birthday.
I know, but I have no gifts.
At least say happy birthday.
But you don't seem so happy.
Ghogho, I'll be leaving in a few days.
I know, you're going to school.
No one will chat with you anymore after I leave.
It's okay, I'll dig holes on the floor for fun.
…
Ginny, happy birthday.
Why do you want to say it now?
I think I can give you a present.
What present?
A piece of advice.
Yes?
Be careful…
Bang-Clang-Slam-
There was a loud noise. After that, no matter how many times Ginny has knocked, Ghogho did not make a sound.
She didn't know until the next day that the ghoul in the attic was making noises in the middle of the night and completely pissed Aquamarine off. Aquamarine rushed to the attic; when she came down, she seemed very happy. From that day on, the old ghoul was completely silent.
Ginny ran to the attic anxiously to take a look. The ghoul saw someone coming up and immediately retracted into the box and shivered. Everyone in the family was very curious about what Aquamarine did to it that scared it so much.
The day before school started, Ginny knocked on the door and said to him, Ghogho, I'll put some old books here, you can read them if you're bored.
… Silence.
Ghogho, are you alright? If you don't say anything now you'll miss the chance. I will leave tomorrow.
After waiting for a long time without an answer, there was a weak knock when Ginny wanted to give up.
Be careful with Mary Sue…
Mary Sue? Who is Mary Sue?
There was not a single sound from the other side of the door.
