Broken Wand
Hermione didn't allow Ginny to take the risk anymore, but Ginny said that she would go there for just 30 minutes. Once the time is up and they haven't come back, Hermione can go to the headmaster or even the UN secretary-general.
Luna made a hissing sound, and the sink had learned well this time, and opened it only after hearing the "sesame".
Ginny bent down to get into the hole. "Wait." Hermione said, "I'll go too." She turned and told Luna, "If you don't see us up in twenty minutes, you must notify Professor Dumbledore!" "Okay, even if I'm gonna get expelled, I'll still go!" Luna nodded.
They slowly got into the pipe and then descended all the way.
The filth and darkness in the pipeline seemed endless. Many other pipes could be seen extending like branches on both sides. Twist, rotate and slide down steeply. Ginny knew that she had slid down to the deep underground.
Ginny suddenly realized that Ron hadn't come up because he couldn't come up. It is also possible that he has not yet slid to the end.
"Slytherin is pretty good at designing. Maybe we will reach the other side of the earth." She told Hermione.
"Then just wait till you get burnt to death in the core of the earth!" Hermione said grimly.
Slowly, the pipe began to smooth, and Ginny landed on the wet floor safely. The underground passage is enough for people to stand and walk, and it is dark all around, scattered with the bones of small animals, as quiet as a lone grave.
Hermione lit her wand and checked the time. There were more than ten minutes left. "Hermione, look! It really is a giant snake. And it seems to be running naked?"
"What running naked?"
"Look, it left its clothes there."
Hermione looked up at the bright green snakeskin, curled up, lying empty on the underpass floor. The snake that shed this skin must be at least twenty feet long.
"It's over, Ron wasn't even enough for its afternoon tea." Hermione was desperate. "Where did he go?"
"Ron!" Ginny shouted.
On~~~on~~~~on~~~~~on~~~~~~
Hermione hurried to cover Ginny's mouth. "Do you wanna die?! The basilisk could hear you!"
"It's fine. The basilisk would have come long ago if it's still alive, nothing happened. It can be seen that Ron succeeded. I think he might find his way. Let's go look for him."
"Don't be so optimistic, careless causes disasters, we have to be as careful as we can." At this moment, another light source lit up on the opposite side, and a trembling voice came.
"Hermione?"
"Ron, is that you?"
Ron, who was covered in moisture at this time, rushed over and blocked Ginny's mouth tightly.
"Don't make a sound!"
"Ron, the snake is not dead yet?" Hermione spoke with a slight aura.
"Not even close. You look really weird with that paper bag."
"Forget about the paper bag! Where's the rooster?"
"Well, that's where it went wrong. The thing is, the rooster doesn't crow."
Hermione glanced at the rooster he was holding, and it rattled. "This rooster was castrated. Most roosters will be castrated when they reach adulthood. They don't crow."
"Fred and George are gonna be the death of me!"
"You asked for it!"
"Where's the snake now?" Ginny glanced around
"Don't know. It's super sensitive to smell. I was hiding in one of those pipes full of water, nearly died, didn't come up before making sure it's completely quiet around."
"Is that pipe far?"
"Not really, why?"
"RUN!"
The three of them thumped and jumped down the waist-deep sewage, and for a moment, the behemoth passed through the hole not far above their heads.
"Thank you for your ears," Ron said to his sister, breathing heavily.
"Thanks for the compliment."
Hermione raised her watch again. "If Luna moves fast enough, the rescuers will come to rescue us in half an hour." But within five minutes the water had flooded their chests.
"I think the water level is a bit high… " Ginny tried to raise her nose. "I heard... the sewers... are all... they are all drained at night..." Hermione said intermittently.
"So, should we get drowned in the sewage or should we go up to the snake as its dinner?"
"Ron, both of your suggestions are bad. Trust Luna, she will bring the rescuers there in time."
Believe Luna, Luna is a reliable friend! Ginny tells herself over and over again, but at the same time, another voice rang in her head: if I can't go back this time, I won't be able to eat my mother's pie anymore, I won't be able to see Luffy and Ghogho anymore, and I won't be able to listen to Luna's babblings anymore... Luna even believes in Crumple-Horned Snorkack. She used to persuade Ron to eat frogs...
Suddenly, a conversation appeared in Ginny's ear: "If he still vomits, eat some salt, the slug will melt when it meets salt, or eat a frog, the frog will eat the slug."
"What about the frog in the belly then?"
"Eat a snake, and the snake will eat the frog."
"And what about the snake?"
"Eat some slugs. Look what it says here. Slug's slime is deadly to snakes."
That's it!
"Ron! Where's your wand?"
"Here, you know it's broken a long time ago."
"Great, which spell did you use on Malfoy that time when you vomit slugs?"
"Umm… eat slugs. Why?"
"I need to borrow your wand."
Ginny held her magic wand in her mouth, supported the hole with her hands, and jumped out
"What are you doing! Come back!"
Regardless of the exclamations of Hermione and Ron, she rushed outside and shouted "Oi! Slytherin snake, come out! Dinner's ready!"
A hissing roar quickly moved from far to near, the ground shook like galloping horses were passing through. Ginny held the wand upside down in her hand, closed her eyes tightly, and shouted to the place where the sound came from:
"Eat slugs eat slugs eat slugs!"
After shouting, Ginny turned her head and ran as fast as she could. She was lifted up by a huge rope that was thrown over. She saw the snake's tail twisting in pain in mid-air, and there was a slimy, low and terrifying vomiting sound in the dark. It filled all the space.
I wish it's vomiting slugs. It was Ginny's last thought.
