Edward's POV:

Present:

"How'd she seem to you?" Emmett asked me.

"She looked exhausted, like the past month she has gotten little to no sleep." I replied in concern.

"Did she kick your ass again?" Peter asked, amused.

"No, asshole. It's obvious she's sick and worried about something. Like she is hiding something from everyone." I mumbled tiredly.

"Why do you care so much about what happens to her? I mean, you've known her for what? Six or seven months? She's just some broad. Why is she so important to you?" Peter asked.

"She's not just some broad, you asshole. She's beautiful and intelligent beyond belief. Witty, sassy, and sexy. I fucking love her. So, watch your mouth before I bust a cap in your knee." I gritted out.

He held up his hands in response, before looking away, intimidated.

When I realized no one else was going to say anything, I leaned back and closed my eyes. My mind immediately goes back to the last few months I've spent with her.

Three Months Ago:

"Boss?! Boss?! Wake up. Hey!"

I groaned, opening my eyes confused.

Then I fucking realized what happened.

This fucking bitch knocked me the fuck out as soon as we both got off.

Fucking hell, that's the third fucking time.

"Get me the fuck out of this shit." I growled, straining my tongue out of the chains.

Demetri and Felix looked at each other before helping me out of the chains.

My head was fucking spinning. One moment I had her pinned into the wall, and then suddenly all I could focus on was that sweet, mouthwatering scent that was hitting my fucking nose.

I was ashamed to say I came in my pants like a fucking prepubescent kid.

And fuck was it the best orgasm I've ever had in my life.

That those fucking noises she was making, and the scent of her skin were going to be haunting me for a long time.

"Not a word to anyone about this. If anyone hears about this shit, I'll know where it came from and fucking put a bullet between your eyes." I told them, before walking stiffly out of there.

When I arrived back to the penthouse, I went straight to the shower.

It wasn't until after I got out that I realized the little minx had left me a note with her number.

Oh, this could be useful.

The next morning, I woke up feeling more exhausted than when I fell asleep.

I took another shower, and changed before heading to Jenkins office.

I walked in and sat down in his couch, waiting for him to arrive.

"Ed, what are you doing here?" He asked, surprised as he limped into the office.

He was a field officer working for the FBI when he was injured. Following his injury he decided he'd rather retire and open his own private investigation office.

We met in school, grew up within the same circles, yet didn't officially begin working together.

Now, we are great friends.

"I need a favor." I replied.

He sighed, setting down, before gesturing for me to continue.

I silently reached into my pocket, before pulling out the paper with the beautiful calligraphy scrawled.

I had already saved the number she left, in the note, into my phone as soon as I found the note.

"I need you to trace a phone number." I finally said, showing him the note.

"Mase, are you sure you want to do this?" He asked surprised.

I nodded, looking down at my feet.

"I'll attempt to trace it. But you'll have better luck if you call or text her." He replied.

I sighed before pulling out my phone.

Why did you give me your number?

-E

A moment later I received a responding message.

Oh, you know, maybe I wanted the encore of last night. ;)

-Bee

I frowned. Was she talking about the ass kicking or the other thing.

Do you mean before or after you kicked my ass?

-E

Before. Definitely before. I didn't kick your ass last night, I simply knocked you out and tied you up. That's different.

-Bee

I shook my head at her sharp tongue. Unable to hide my amusement.

That tongue of yours is going to get you in a lot of trouble one day.

-E

That's what I'm hoping for. If last night was a preview, well, I'll just say, I approve, but only a little bit.

-Bee

Fucking cock tease.

-E

Just a little.

-Bee

Don't play with me, what do you really want?

- E

Oh, I like games. Especially this one, handsome. Teasing you is especially fun. Your reactions get me every time.

She followed this message by sending me a fucking picture that nearly caused my heart to stop, and me to nearly drop my phone.

She had sent me a picture of the perfect view of her tits in a lacy red bra.

Perfectly shaped snowy globes. Delicious and lickable.

My mind automatically went to all the filthy things I'd like to do to them as I fucked her into oblivion.

"Oh fuck." I gasped.

While I had fun talking to you. I have to go now. Ttyl.

-Bee

Fuck, she is a little minx.

"Is something wrong, Mase?" Jenkins asked, roasting a brow at me.

It took a while before I could think. That picture was the only thing on my mind.

"No, I just remembered I have to be somewhere." I replied, as I stood up, discreetly adjusting the boner I now had.

Fucking hell.

It took me a while before I could manage to deflate the problem I had going on between my legs.

Fucking thinking about it only caused the problem to prolong.

Then she sent yet another message.

Meet me at Hot Shots Café, the one off pike and spruce. Come alone. Fifteen minutes. Don't disappoint, όμορφος.

-B

όμορφος? What in the fucking fuck does that mean?

I quickly went online to make sure she wasn't insulting me in a different language.

Hm. Interesting. She's still calling me handsome.

'Alright, angel. You want to meet, let's meet.' I thought, as I drove towards the place.

Fifteen minutes later, I walked into the small coffee shop to see her sitting at a table in the corner of the shop by the back window.

"Welcome to Hot Shots. How may I help you?" The young, acne covered man standing behind the counter asked.

"I'll take a mocha latte, double Espresso. And those Snickers doodles." I replied.

The boy quickly got to work and handed me my order a few minutes later.

I walked through the shop, before sitting down in front of her.

She was sitting there, reading a book on a small device.

"You wanted to meet with me?" I asked, leaning back in the chair.

She nodded, before turning the device off, and sliding it into her bag.

"I did." She replied, before sighing.

"Why? You and I? We don't exactly have the best track record. What do you want?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.

She sighed, "I need help finding someone, and I know you can help." She replied, crossing her arms over her chest.

She wasn't wearing anything too provacative, yet the black dress she wore had me licking my lips immediately at the sight. I briefly wondered if the black fabric stretched over her supple chest was as flimsy as I thought it to be.

I liked the fact that she wasn't too dressed up. She was wearing a black dress with a rip on the thigh, and a pair of white sneakers.

Yet, she still looked amazing. I had a feeling she'd look amazing in anything she wore though.

"And why ask me? Why not ask your friend from last night?" I asked her, raising a brow.

"That friend can not know I am looking for anyone. Especially this person." She replied.

"Who is it?" I asked curiously.

She pulled out a smaller tablet and shoved it towards me. "That is Renee Higginbotham. She disappeared a while back, and took a small little girl with her. I need to know if the little girl is okay." She replied, stoically.

I looked down at the picture, frowning, before looking up at her.

The woman had hazel eyes like her, but short dirty blonde hair.

"Do you have a picture of the little girl?" I asked her.

She nodded, before reaching over to swipe to the right. Sighing as the picture slowly changed.

A small little girl with dark brown eyes, and the same chocolate brown colored hair was smiling at the camera.

"If I say I will help you, what will I get out of this?" I asked cautiously.

Help wasn't for free. At least not in my eyes. I needed something good out of it.

Especially since she had already kicked my ass three times. Leverage always worked but I had none yet.

She smirked, "My everlasting gratitude." She deadpanned.

Should have known she was going to say something like this. But I wasn't going to let her go that easy.

I snorted, "O-ho-oh no, I want something real." I told her.

She scoffed, rolling her pretty eyes at me before sighing, and biting her bottom lip.

"My gratitude would be real." I raised a brow at her. "Alright, then what do you want?" She asked, hesitant.

I smirked at her.

I've had time to think about something like this. Usually it would be a fuck and done, but something told me this wasn't going to be the case, not with her.

I wanted to get to know her. Before I jumped head first into whatever this is.

"A date. Go out with me." I finally told her.

She gasped, gaping like a fish out of water. Before she recovered herself.

"What'll happen if I say no?" She asked, smiling.

I pretended to think about it before smiling again. "Then I'll find something else for you to do. Honestly, though, it'll be much easier for you to take that date as an option." I told her as I took a sip of the latte.

She looked at me unsurprised. "Then no. I don't do 'easy'." She replied, as she pulled away the tablet.

"Suit yourself then." I replied, shrugging nonchalantly, before picking up and taking a bite of one of the snickerdoodle cookies.

She narrowed her eyes at me, as she lifted the cup to her lips.

I smiled at her, amused, as I continued to stuff my face with the cookies.

"You know where to find me if you change your mind. You might want to hurry though, the offer will only be on the table for so long." I said, after I finished my coffee, before pulling out my wallet and dropping a twenty on the table.

A few minutes later I made it to my car. I manually unlocked it, and slid into the driver's seat, before leaning my head back and taking a deep breath.

Before I could start the car I heard the door on the passenger's side open.

I turned to see her slide in, raising a brow at her as she closed the door again.

"May I help you?" I asked.

"Let me get this straight. I go out with you, on this date…" She said the word 'date' like it was a dirty word. It was kind of funny. "—and you'll help me find this person?" She asked, skeptically.

I shrugged, as I turned the car on.

"I mean I did say that earlier but now, I think I've changed my mind." I told her, smirking at the scowl on her face.

She had no options now. She would have to accept my offer.

"What is it now?" She asked in exasperation.

Gotcha.

"I still want that date, but now, I want you to help me retrieve something from a friend." I told her, smirking at the wide-eyed expression.

She sighed before murmuring something in a different language. When she was finished, probably cursing me to the pits of hell, she turned in her seat to look at me.

The annoyance and anger in her eyes told me all I wanted to know.

"What do you need me to get?" She asked carefully.

I smirked at her, unable to stop myself from doing so. "It's a flashdrive. Before you ask, no it's not the same one. This one has a different set of data, events, and other things I need for something. Can you get it?" I asked her.

I knew she had to do some sort of work like this. I needed to find out how skilled she is. So, how do I do that? By sending her to one of my friends' houses to retrieve the USB I gave them two days ago.

It was a project Aro, and Carlisle were involved in.

While it wasn't that important. I just wanted to see how skilled she truly was. Maybe she's a thief, or something.

Only one way to find out.

"If you want me to do this, I'm going to need a few things from you." She replied, sighing in defeat.

"Like what?" I asked her, raising a brow.

"Details. Directions to the place. The exact location of where said USB is, type of security system that place has… oh, and a deadline." She replied.

My mouth fell open in surprise before I shook it off. Holy shit!

"I can get that to you as soon as I get back to my office. Are you sure you're up for this?" I asked her.

"Most definitely. As for the date. Pick a time and place and I'll be there." She told me, expectantly.

I quickly thought of a place I knew would be easy to get reservations for before turning to look at her.

I nodded. "Friday night. Stephano's Italian Cuisine. Seven O'clock." I said immediately.

"Fine. I'll see you then." She replied before exiting the car.

With one last look at her retreating form, I shook my head before I drove back to Jenkins place to tell him of my plan.
