It's been a couple of days after the wounded exchange and Chris was having a terrible day so far. No, make those days! Three terrible days!

He planned to do his shores with Radar today, which was usually delivering mail and meeting everyone in the morning. Chris liked that, just saying hi, and people were always very happy to see him.

But for the last three days, it was different, it was raining! Not just a bit of rain but the whole three days it rained extremely, everything was soaked, wet, moist and most of it was dirty.

On the first day, his butt still hurt a little, and with all the rain that started, he hadn't had any distraction away from that. Chris could only stay inside on those days, which was boring!

Today he finished his schoolwork already and even wrote some little stories and things he just thought about down, and now he was bored again. They rushed through Breakfast and Lunch, because of the rain everything was dirty and slippery, and even the Swamp kept leaking through the roof. Not as bad as the mess hall but still dripping water everywhere!

It was a depressing sight.

And on top of all that, Henry was attending a lecture in Seoul, so Frank was in charge, and he wanted more military order around here.

This sunrise he even started with the bugle to wake everyone up, Chris almost got a Panic attack but the boy managed to stop it, he just needed to cry a little but nothing worse than that.

Dinner was also terrible, the rain was dripping in the food, so the food tasted very bad today. Even the bread was moist!

After that they went to watch the movie in the mess hall, the place was packed as everyone seemed bored as well with the lack of entertainment.

It wasn't even a funny movie, it was a boring romantic movie.

Chris sighed as he leaned a little against his dad. He was dressed in a poncho against the rain. It was an ugly army green color and Chris thought he looked very stupid, but he had to wear it, his dad insisted.

Everyone else was wearing one of those too, so he wasn't the only one but they had to wear it even inside the buildings because of all the leaks.

Chris tried to snuggle against his dad but there was a squirt of water falling right between them and kept dripping on Chris's shoulder with drops spatting in his face.

He was bored but there was nothing else to do, so the boy just sat there being moody.

The sound of the movie stopped and people immediately murmured their complaints to poor Klinger, who was trying to fix the projector after water dripped on it.

They watched the big white soundless screening of a woman singing, for about a couple of minutes. Trapper turned to Klinger and wanted to complain but just as he opened his mouth a splash of water fell on his head, soaking the man completely. A good amount of that landed on Chris as the boy wasn't fast enough to dodge. He almost jumped on his dad's lap to avoid the water stream, but it didn't help much, it only made his dad more grumpy as the man spilled some of his Martini.

Another two minutes of the silent movie passed by and just like that the sound jumped on again. People clapped and cheered, till the roof tore open and a whole splash of water completely soaked the projector and the poor man working on it. The projector started to smoke heavenly while making heavy struggling sounds.

"Well movie night is over," Hawkeye said before he turned to the nurse next to him and tried to score a date, he got rejected the next second and the man turned back towards Chris and Trapper.

"Let's blow!" Trapper said as he got up." It's 8:30. It's pouring. No movie. No soft personnel." the man sighed " I'd rather be down in Seoul hearing Henry's lecture"

Hawkeye looked at him and said, "Colonel Blake, reviews the military position on the hemorrhoid. I'd rather be here." They got up and walked across the slippery compound to their tent. Chris almost slid face down to the ground, but his dad caught him just in time.

Chris sighed, he was cold and wet, and there wasn't a dry place anywhere.

The moment the two doctors walked inside, they saw Radar, who was taking away their still! The clerk didn't look happy doing it, as Frank stood to watch and kept ordering Radar to keep going.

"Hey! What the hell is going on! They're taking our still!" Hawkeye said as he rushed inside and saw what was happening. The clerk jumped away from the still, telling the doctors that Frank made him do it! He's a major you know!

" Are you bonkers, Frank? What for?" Trapper added as he walked to the still and tried to fix it. The two men seemed outraged and Radar wanted to escape the situation, so he made some excuse and ran out.

Hawkeye and Trapper lovingly reattach their "wellspring of life" and pour another drink under the watchful glare of Frank.

"You two are alcoholics. Hopeless elbow-bending boozers." The man snapped, he held out a little pamphlet and read out loud for the doctors to hear.

"From the Deputy Assistant Undersecretary of Defense on drugs and alcohol abuse. Surveys have shown that 57.230 of all military personnel have a drinking problem."

"We do not have a drinking problem!" Hawkeye said as he and Trapper moved the still back to its original place.

"Well, they've included a test," Frank said as the doctors got their drinks and sat down. Chris got down onto his cot, laying on his stomach, he had nothing to do, so he decided to do some more schoolwork. At least he would be doing something, he read all his comics a hundred times already and Radar's comics about fifty times.

"Question nr 1," Frank announced loudly, he was fed up with their constant drinking.

"Do you think and talk about drinking often?"

Hawkeye made himself comfortable on his chair and took a sip as he answered.

"No, of course not!"

"Hell no! Trapper voiced as well

Hawkeye turned to his friend and tapped his glass." I see what you mean about the gin."

Frank continued

"Do you sometimes gulp drinks?"

Both the doctors took their time to answer as they devoured their drinks. Chris saw his dad had finished their drink and eagerly got up to get them both another one, he liked doing that a lot for his dad. He wanted to show the people he cared for them, it made him feel loved as well as his dad gave him a one-armed hug afterward, as he was using the other one to drink.

"Never!" Hawkeye said after he released his child from his embrace.

Frank gave the man an irritated look but didn't comment.

"Do you sometimes forget what happened while you're drinking?"

Hawkeye looked at him with a blank stare. "What?"

Frank sighed and repeated.

"Question number three: do you sometimes forget what happened while you're drinking?"

Trapper looked at Hawkeye confused. "What happened to question number two?"

"He forgot it!" Hawkeye told the other doctor. "He forgets while we drink."

Frank snapped as he got up to stand in front of the two doctors.

"There's just no question! You're alcoholics. You drink constantly."

Hawkeye looked at the man dead serious as he snapped back.

"All right, we drink! We drink so we can get through these lousy, stinking, 48-hour days."

Trapper joined in.

"We're cold, filthy, lonely...

"Scared, bored, tired..." Hawkeye said before Trapper finished."Frightened, and very drowsy.

Frank raised his chest as he told the doctors that he didn't care about their personal problems before he issued an official order banning all alcohol in camp while he was in command. The 4077th is dry.

"And that's an official order!" Frank shouted as he walked out. He opened the door and a flash of light could be seen as thunder rolled throughout the unit.

Chris jumped to shield behind his dad, as the doctors tried to protect themselves from the rain storming inside through the door.

"Boy! When you make it official, you make it official!" Hawkeye said as he soothed Chris a little. The boy wasn't always afraid of thunder but only with the very heavy cases, and this one was a bit sudden, so Hawkeye understood.

After Burns left the two men didn't take Frank's order as seriously as they should, because they had a full night of card games and booze.

As he put Chris to bed, he dried the boy off with a towel before tugging him in, because everything was moist and wet, including the boy's hair, this way Chris could at least sleep dry, and hung the ponchos out to attempt to dry them a little.

It was late at night, and Chris was in a deep sleep as he dreamt about a big wide-open plain. As far as his eyes could see, there was dirt and an open sky, with some plants and dry bushes here and there.

Looking around the big space he felt all alone. He remembered going for a walk without his dad, he probably got lost or something. He shouldn't wander off, he knew that and he didn't for long but he didn't see anything for miles around. It just seemed deserted and completely barren.

Fear settled in the child as the sky got a darker gray color. Chris looked around hopelessly. Tears sprung into his eyes as he realized he was alone! Thunder could be heard from afar, and as the child looked, he saw big gray clouds start to form and swirl into each other. It was still far away, but getting closer very fast. Chris's breath hitched as he watched the clouds become crowded.

Lighting and thunderstorms materialized as well and Chris just turned and ran, he didn't know where to, and he was crying hard so he couldn't see anything. But it was the only thing he could think of right now.

As he ran, he heard a faint voice from several directions. He stopped to listen but a lighting bolt hit the ground several feet away from him, that way too close! He leaped and ran. He could feel the heat coming off the spot the lighting hit, it scared him so much he nearly had a heart attack! Running away, however, didn't seem to help as everything got a lot darker and even rain started.

Chris cried, as the clouds now straight above his head, were swirling angrily and thundering. Chris stopped running and just stood there paralyzed as the whole ground seemed to tremble.

Out of the blue, he felt two hands on his shoulders and he heard a faint voice, he tried to struggle, but the hands remained and started shaking him a little. Slowly his drowsy, sleepy mind woke up, as he started to hear the voice clearer. He opened his eyes and saw his dad looking at him with worry.

Chris was drained with sweat or water, he didn't know, and he didn't care. He just wanted his dad, sniffed and Hawkeye instantly embraced him, the man picked the boy up and positioned him on his cot next to him. He hugged the small boy close.

"There, their kiddo." His dad whispered, rubbing his back. Christopher sobbed against his chest and closed his eyes. He was too exhausted to talk so he focused on the feeling of his father's strong arms around him. The gentle rhythm of Hawkeye's heart made him feel less tense.

"Dad..." he started softly. His voice was barely above a whisper.

Hawkeye tightened his grip slightly.

"Yeah?"

Chris tried not to cry because it was embarrassing! But he couldn't help it and it took a couple of minutes before he finally got hold of himself, he looked at Hawkeye and mumbled, "I'm sorry".

"Don't apologize, what happened? Was it a bad dream? Or are you hurt?" His father asked after kissing him on the cheek.

Chris wiped away the last tears from his face. "Bad dream." He whispered before burying his head into his father's shoulder.

He was scared of his nightmares and he hated them! They were awful! But they got less after the regular bedtime. They still occurred on a regular basis but a lot less than before.

Chris occasionally woke him and his roommates by screaming at night, but he often had Chris calm down quickly. Frank sometimes offered his unwanted advice, when Chris was having such dreams, but Hawkeye always knew how to silence him, even Trapper helped by throwing stuff at the other doctor. Trapper felt for the kid and was a little more sympathetic toward this. Chris couldn't help it either.

Hawkeye sighed as he felt relieved Chris calmed down a bit. He didn't mind sleeping next to his kid if his child had these night terrors. He pulled Chris's blanket over the almost sleeping boy, as he slowly drifted back to sleep as well.

The next morning Frank had Radar with the bugle ready and demanded a morning inspection. He had the soldiers stand in line, as Radar blew the bugle.

Waking up to a bugle was not Hawkeye's favorite thing in the world, but he could manage.

Chris didn't get a panic attack today, so that's a good sign. Hawkeye was also very grateful it stopped raining, and his kid was ecstatic as well that the rain stopped, as he almost ran out in pajamas to help Radar with the inspection, Hawkeye called out just in time and laughed as the boy very quickly changed into his outside clothes. Hawkeye told him to wear a jacket as the boy grabbed his jacket and was out the door.

Both doctors completely ignored Frank's request to be present during these inspections, they didn't care, Henry would be back soon anyway.

Hawkeye felt optimistic, his kid seemed happy, and the man knew Radar would bring him back before breakfast. Chris would stay with the clerk during his mail rounds as well and that meant the Swamp was last to get his mail delivered, as Radar delivered Chris back as well.

Chris ran over to the compound and stopped as he saw Radar playing the bugle. The clerk seemed serious, and Chris knew not to interrupt his work. Even though the boy thought it was silly, standing in line and playing an instrument while doing it. But the sun was shining and Chris was so happy about that, there was mud everywhere but without the rain, it would hopefully dry up soon.

He watched a couple of feet away from Frank, as the man ordered Igor to shoot the small cannon to fire the salute. Igor tried to explain to Frank that the aim of the small cannon was wrong, but Frank demanded shooting, so Igor shot.

CLINK*

Chris put his hands over his mouth and gasped as the small cannon blew the bugle out right of the clerk's hand with a small blast! Radars fingers were thankfully fine as the stunned clerk looked at his hand and looked at Igor. Radar turned livid as he looked at the man who fired.

"You! Ooh!" The clerk couldn't utter a word as his anger was too strong.

Igor just shrugged and apologized.

The boy has NEVER seen Radar this mad before, and he was very glad it was not directed toward him.

"What the..." Radar was speechless as angry sounds escaped the late teen, he radiated anger as he walked with clenched fists towards Igor who again tried to apologize.

Three people rushed to the small man and needed to hold the small man back. One bigger man even lifted the clerk completely to make sure Radar didn't do something he would regret.

The small clerk was struggling with the three men as he was still lifted in the air. He was still trying to get to Igor, his fists aimed at the enlisted man. It took a couple of seconds before Radar was calm enough, they put him down again but stayed close in case the man still wanted to fight Igor.

As Radar walked up and stood behind Frank as the man started talking to the group, Chris came up to the clerk. The boy knew he wasn't allowed to interfere with work but he needed to know if Radar was okay.

He pulled the clerk's sleeve, and whispered "Radar, Are you okay?"

Radar quickly told Chris he was fine, but that he was busy now and Chris shouldn't bother him. He gently pushed the boy back a couple of feet.

Chris sighed, Radar still seemed upset, the clerk never told the boy that he bothered him. He wanted to stomp his foot but stopped himself just in time.

It hurt the child's feelings a bit, but he understood, and he wasn't allowed to bother anyone, so he stood back and watched.

The rest of the inspection was boring, Chris looked from the sidelines, as Frank criticized Klinger's high heels and nail polish. It was a stunning, orange color so Chris didn't know why the man was complaining, it looked very pretty.

After the inspection, Radar seemed a lot better, he even apologized for saying Chris shouldn't bother him, because he never did.

Chris didn't mind, he was overjoyed that Radar felt fine, and still wanted to be his friend.

They did the mail round together, Radar delivered the mail to the people that Chris didn't know that well, and Chris got to deliver mail to his favorite people.

After that Radar delivered Chris back to the Swamp, just as Frank named Hawkeye the Officer of the Day, Frank would still stay the commanding officer but this way he could let Pierce do the work while he supervised. Frank gives Hawkeye his armband and sidearm holster.

He tried giving Hawkeye a gun, but the man refused.

"I will not carry a gun, Frank. When I got into this war, I had a very clear understanding of the Pentagon. No guns!"

Frank huffed.

"I'll carry your books, I'll carry a torch, I'll carry a tune, I'll carry on, carry over, carry forward, Cary Grant, cash and carry, carry me back to old Virginny. I'll even hari-kari if you show me how, but I will NOT carry a gun!"

Frank sighed and took the gun away from the gun belt before giving it to Pierce who was proudly sporting "the emptiest holster in the west."

Breakfast however was a short affair as casualties arrived and they were called into work. During that surgery session, Frank has the still, torn down and hidden.

Of course, the doctors are outraged. Chris thought it was a mean trick from Frank but didn't understand the nerves radiating from the two men. His dad seems irritated, he and Trapper almost looked like wild animals pacing around like this.

They decided together to search for booze inside the camp.

Chris was just about to start some of his schoolwork, but he could do it later, he already made a big part of it yesterday, and he was a couple of days ahead of his work anyway, except for his math and science work, he just hated making that.

They started with Francis, who was having his Sunday ceremony with Klinger as his only audience. Klinger wore a nice blue checkered dress with white gloves. As they walked in they started their rampage toward the priest about Frank and their missing still! They hadn't had a drop all day and were getting desperate.

Klinger and Chris got talking about the dress, but Chris loved the white gloves especially.

Francis prompted the two doctors to say something nice about Klinger his gloves, so after Hawkeye told the man he liked the white gloves, Klinger excitedly started his tale about getting them in the Sears catalog on a white sale, but Hawkeye didn't care.

The boy asked Klinger if he could wear them, but Klinger didn't seem to understand why Chris would want to wear the feminine white lace gloves in the first place.

Chris told them because they were pretty and that only confused the man more, he told the boy gently to ask his father those questions. He petted Chris his head and left.

Chris didn't know what just happened, why wouldn't he like to wear silky white gloves with lace, they felt very soft and looked elegant.

The child looks at this dad but Hawkeye seems busy convincing the priest to give them wine.

He sighed, maybe he should just go find Radar to play with.

Francis told the doctors that the sacramental wine is only for religious purposes. so the captain's stay for the 11:00 am Protestant service so they can pray for booze. Chris told his dad that he wanted to find Radar. His dad agreed while he sat in a praying stance, hands folded and looking up at the ceiling of the tent. Chris rolled his eyes and left.

He found Radar getting ready to feed his animals, Chris happily helped him get everything set up.

"Hi Radar," said Chris, as Radar put some carrots into the child's hands like he knew Chris wanted to help.

"Hey, Chris. How're you doing?" asked Radar as Chris sat down to feed the bottom cages. The boy got a big smile as he fed the animals who liked eating carrots.

"Pretty good. What did I miss?" asked Chris, curious about the things that happened today?

Radar told them about how his animals are doing and how things were back home. Chris loved hearing stories from back home, so they talked even after they finished with the animals.

After they did that, they went to Radar's office and Chris helped sort papers and even typed a little on the typewriter.

Radar needed Burns to sign some papers, as Hawkeye completely refused to put the war on his name. The daily report was still unsigned. So they headed over to the Swamp, and their conversation turned to superheroes.

At the Swamp, Frank wasn't there, so Radar suggested they should go to Margaret's tent. Chris knew those two were good friends, so it did make sense.

Chris was thinking about asking Radar about what happened with Klinger and about wearing gloves, they were pretty, with lace and everything! But their conversation stopped as Radar knocked on the door, work first, talk later.

The door opened revealing an impatient Frank wearing a bra over his army shirt. Chris had heard Klinger talk about those, but he imagined more color, this looked really dull.

Radar gave the man a look and stammered about the daily reports.

Chris looked at Frank and back to Radar, wearing different clothes, scared some people apparently, maybe he shouldn't ask Radar, he didn't want his friend to look at him like he was weird.

They left after Radar quickly told Burns that he didn't see anything unusual!

Chris headed back to the Swamp to do his schoolwork, he found Trapper with a local tailor, who was measuring him. He wanted to order a pinstripe suit from the man. His dad sat on his chair, without a drink and looked at the two small Korean boys wandering around the tent.

Chris walked to his dad and got an arm around him, the doctor never losing sight of the boys.

Chris knew these boys, but he didn't like them much. They tried to steal his comic book a week ago, and days after that, they even tried to take Wally.

Chris tried to make friends but they only seemed interested in his stuff, and Chris didn't have that many, to begin with.

He didn't seem to need it as much as these boys, but taking it without asking was wrong. And Wally was his friend, you shouldn't do that to someone.

Chris felt terrible thinking about the stuff he stole while being captured by THOSE people, as his dad liked to refer to them. At the time he didn't think much of it, but he didn't do a lot of thinking in general, at that time. He thought his dad knew a little bit about the stealing stuff, Chris never told him and Hawkeye didn't ask. But the doctor told the boy he could imagine why Chris was forced to learn to open locks. How would a small boy earn his keep, if not stealing?

The boys almost got away with taking Wally, but thankfully his dad interfered, that man knew everything! Just like now, Hawkeye wouldn't let the boys leave without emptying their sleeves and pockets.

The two boys unwillingly turned over their found treasures, and after Hawkeye was sure he got everything back, he let them go.

"Are you their real father or did they steal you too?" Hawkeye asked the smiling tailor, who just ignored the question.

It was wartime, and people are poor, so Hawkeye didn't mind some small things getting stolen but when he saw the boys take a comic book last week he drew the line.

He sometimes let them get away with small things, like Frank's expensive picture frame, or Frank's priceless heirloom silver brush, but he stopped them as they took Wally, his son would be devastated if his stuffed bunny got lost.

It was late at night when Hawkeye and Trapper got so desperate for alcohol that they wanted to break into the supplies closet for it, they already searched the whole camp, and Frank had hidden every drop of booze.

They couldn't find the key at first and Hawkeye had thought of waking up Chris, to let him open it, but that thought left just as fast as it came.

He wanted alcohol but he wouldn't disturb his child to get it. Chris needed his sleep and what kind of father would he be, if he insisted on bedtime for the boy, and then just ignored the bedtime if he needed it ignored.

It took some time but they finally got the cabinet to open. They quickly looked through all the content, but couldn't find what they wanted.

Clunk!*

The doctors quickly hide when Margaret enters the room and are delighted to witness her unveil a full bottle of brandy from a locked file cabinet.

They gleefully confront her, after turning on the lights and almost scaring her to death.

Chris awoke to loud laughter, Margaret and the two doctors found a bottle of brandy and to catch up on lost time, drank happily from it.

His dad is singing as Chris crawled out of his bed, and stood next to his dad, he sleepily rubbed his eyes and yawned. After his dad noticed him, he got an exciting big hug and a quick sloppy kiss on his head. Chris was glad his dad seemed so cheerful but he was tired.

At that moment Frank came in and was SHOCKED at the state Margaret was in, he expected this from the other two men, but Margeret!

He was outraged, and he told them screaming!

Even in his drunken state, Hawkeye noticed Chris whimpering a bit and getting closer, the doctor put a protective arm around the child and pulled him close. Turning a bit so that he sat in front of the boy, shielding him a little, from the mad doctor.

They managed to keep Frank busy for a while with a long fake explanation about how they got the brandy. That confused the man for a minute but after he found out they were joking, he stormed out.

"Who was that?" a very drunk Margaret asked. Making the two doctors laugh out loud, almost falling from their chairs.

Chris sighed and tapped his dad's arm.

The man was laughing so hard he didn't notice.

Chris grabbed his dad's sleeve and pulled a little. "Papa!"

That got the man's attention and Chris whispered to the man.

"Papa, ik wil slapen... Ben moe" The child quickly got his last word out before he yawned widely.

Hawkeye looked at his child confused before he said.

"Okay, maybe I'm too drunk for this, I'm hoping you spoke Dutch because otherwise, I have to lay off the booze, which would make me very sad."

Chris blinked at the man, did he speak Dutch? He didn't remember, he was too sleepy and drowsy at the moment, but he tried again a bit more clearly.

"I'm sleepy, I want to sleep."

Hawkeye then realized they woke the boy up at night, he quickly apologized and stood up to tug the child back in.

It went a bit clumsy and Chris got again a sloppy kiss on his forehead, but he didn't care, he felt loved by his dad and that's what matters. As the boy slowly fell asleep, he heard a "Goodnight kiddo" as Hawkeye and the other two drunkenly stumbled through the door to continue this at some other place.

The following day Frank approaches Father Mulcahy about giving a lecture on temperance and the evil of drink. He agrees but admits nobody comes to his services. Frank says that is no problem, for he will order the whole camp to attend.

After breakfast, the doctors were called for O.R and they were not happy, as they were bickering a lot more than normal, and even Margaret got snapped at by Hawkeye. He didn't even like the compliment she gave him after the session and snapped back at her.

They walked back to the Swamp and Trapper started an argument that nearly escalated to physical violence.

Hawkeye was glad Chris wasn't around to witness this, he never fought with his best friend. As they are ready to strike each other, they come to the realization they might actually be alcoholics.

His mood didn't get better at lunch, He and Trapper slammed their utensils down several times and seemed very upset about the quality of the food.

Chris was getting very upset about this, he was so nervous to say or do anything to upset the duo. He didn't know how to fix this!

Radar seemed to understand and asked Hawkeye if he could borrow the boy. Hawkeye agreed and Chris was very relieved to have a break from them. He talked with Radar about it, but the late teen didn't know how to help, so they just focused on their work. At least Radar could cheer him up!

Radar needed to type out a report and Chris got to work on his schoolwork. Chris felt a lot calmer after spending a couple of hours like that, Radar gentle nature calmed him a lot.

When it was time for the lecture Radar and Chris walked over to the mess hall, Chris didn't have to go, but as everyone else would be there, he might as well go. Otherwise, he would be alone waiting.

The mess tent is a full house, and Father Mulcahy, prepping in his tent, is nervous, so Klinger pours him a whiskey "bracer" to calm him down.

Unfortunately, he pours him too much booze, for by the time he gets to the service, the poor Father, not accustomed to drinking so much, is snockered.

Francis took the stand as people quiet down, he seemed a bit sweaty and nervous to Chris but started his speech anyway.

"Let me quote from Leviticus 10." He sounded a bit sluggish.

"Do not drink wine or strong drink though not are they, sons, with thee when you go into the tabernacle of the congregation,

Lest ye die...Ahem."

Chris almost couldn't understand a word of it, and he was more worried about Francis, as the priest seemed to sway a little as he tried to stand straight, he was holding the stand with his white knuckles.

"It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations. My friends... the Lord said this... to Aaron after the passing away of his beloved sons... Nadab and Abihu."

Some people looked around in confusion as the man didn't make any sense.

"It's rather warm here." Francis said as he adapted the sweat off his face with a handkerchief.

"Radar, can you open one of the stained glass windows?"

Radar was already up before he remembered the mess hall was a tent and didn't even have windows.

The stunned clerk looked around at the other confused people before he sat down again.

Francis started again but repeated the whole first part.

Then the priest told the people that there was no film, and he was life!

He stumbled a bit and asked if there was a doctor in the audience.

Trapper jumped up to help the man, and in the process, he stepped on Hawkeye's foot and unwittingly started a scuffle that ended with Frank getting hit in the groin.

The man stumbles and quickly sits down again next to Margaret, who quickly nurses him on her flask of brandy.

Hawkeye and Trapper notice Frank is drinking booze himself and happily announce prohibition has been repealed, and people start cheering and clapping.

Francis was looking at his notes confused, the drunk priest didn't know why people are clapping at the moment.

Trapper went to check out the priest but Klinker let him know the man was just a bit drunk. Which got the whole tent clapping and laughing again.

After that the doctors happily went to the Swamp to drink, they just finished their second glass when a very nervous Radar walked in asking for Hawkeye, it was important.

"Are you okay? Radar? Your slight but sturdy body is all trembling." The doctor walked close to the clerk as the late teen wanted some privacy.

"Well.." The nervous man started "You know who... I mean, what do I sleep with?

At Hawkeye yeah, he continued.

"Well, it's gone. I've looked everywhere!" with big pleading eyes he said. "Sir, you gotta help me find it.

Hawkeye put a comforting hand on the man's shoulder and said. "Have no fear, Radar. We'll look in every tent."

Radar was very glad Hawkeye took this seriously, any other man would think he was crazy for getting this upset about a teddy bear.

"I'll help!" Chris said eagerly. He felt terrible for Radar.

They didn't have to look through the whole camp as Hawkeye knew who probably stole the bear and located the two stealing boys quickly and with some persuasion got the teddy bear back.

It was after dinner when Hawkeye, Chris, and Radar sat together in the officer's office. Radar was very glad he got his bear back and was thanking them both several times, even though Hawkeye did all the work. Chris was just happy to help a little. He would be heartbroken if something would've happened to Wally.

At that moment Trapper peaked through the door. "Hey, you guys wanna see the pinstripe suit of all times?"

"Yeah"

Trapper walked in revealing a nice suit with horizontal stripes. Hawkeye barked out a laugh, while Radar snickered as well. Chris didn't understand what was funny, it was a nice suit.

But he didn't care, he just felt happy everything was normal again.
