Mary Sue Antibodies

Playing games, eating snacks, watching TV, playing in the washing machine… time always flies by so fast when doing what one likes. Ginny lived undisturbed in the cupboard of Granger's family, slowly taking root and sprouting, and it might be about to bloom soon.

Recently, she often thinks that Harry is living a happy life for being able to live in the cupboard all the time. She thought the cupboards all over the world were the same as hers, clean and bright, with a soft mattress that could be used as a springboard, a small TV next to the pillow, and cardboard boxes with the old version of "Doraemon" and the complete works of Hans Andersen's Fairy Tales. By that, Ginny thought Muggles are great because they have Doraemon, Doraemon who also lives in the cupboard!

On a sweltering afternoon, when Ginny was sitting under the air conditioner and imagining that she also had a magic pocket like Doraemon's, Hermione threw a piece of Daily Prophet in front of her. In the newsletter, she saw a group photo of her family. The news that the Weasleys won the prize was released after the official receipt of the prize. It seemed that they chose to travel by plane. The photo was taken outside the airport inspection gate.

"They're probably at the Cairo airport now, don't you regret it?" Hermione sat down beside her.

"For what? I got my life back." But Ginny's voice was lost.

"Sounds great." Hermione opened her notebook. "Let's talk about business. I have all the replies."

"And?"

"I sent a few original design drafts to Harry, Neville, Luna, and Colin, and asked them to copy what they saw to me. Look," She arranged four sheets of paper in order, three sheets with simple doodles, one completely blank. "I found a few people nearby and asked them to do the same thing. Here's what they gave me." Hermione handed a dozen of sheets to Ginny. On each one was painted the most beautiful clothes that human can imagine.

"On one side are people in my record sheet who have a special reaction to your sister, and on the other side are ordinary people. They can see different things from a similar draft. Especially these ones." Hermione waved the dozen of the beautiful copies. "They look completely different! Look at the record sheet, most of the people I know will obey your sister's words, like being cast on the Imperius Curse, even me. But Luna, you and the guys are not the same. I listened to your description, you guys seem to have a special resistance and will not be confused. Take these design drafts, for example, what you see should be the most basic appearance of this drawing. I seem to have a little resistance to this kind, provided that your sister is not nearby, so I can think by myself."

"What's the matter with the blank one?"

"This is Harry's, the strangest one. He said he didn't see anything on your sister's original design draft."

"But there are drawings on the draft."

"You told me before that he went to your house once and was scolded by your sister, but he couldn't remember any of it. After the Chamber of Secrets incident, I also saw his ability. His speed of forgetting, I can only use one word to describe-talent! He seems to be able to ignore everything related to your sister. Unlike your situation, ordinary people are easily affected. Look at this one, my neighbour drew it. He likes sports very much and on his copy is refreshing sportswear. This one is from my primary school classmate, she likes comics and manga very much, and the things copied look cartoonish. My mother likes to wear long trench coats, and her copy is also a long trench coat."

"What everyone sees from the design draft is different… is because they see the most beautiful clothes that fit each of their own tastes?"

"It's very likely if this is the case, your sister has a lot of extraordinary things that she has stolen… this is not the right word… she has gotten from others. She seems to have the ability to reach each of the expectation from others. Every time I see her, I can see good qualities on her that I personally value very much, I quickly become fascinated by it, but afterwards, I feel that my ability to think has lowered at the time." Hermione put a hand on her forehead, "In Muggle world, there's such a saying that around any living thing, there is an invisible way that can transmit biological information and the interaction between living things and other living things. The special life substance that determines biological behaviour is called the biological field… Do you understand?"

"Not really… "

"It's okay, let's put it this way. Lockhart told you that a girl named Tina was very similar to your sister. Ghogho said that people like them are called Mary Sue. Let's assume that these are true, then these Mary Sues all have a very special power field. They actually use these power fields to make others surrender. No matter what they do, no matter what they make, people around them will see the best they can imagine under the influence of that kind of field, even the things they create have this kind of field too. Now that I think of it, I remember my parents didn't have hallucinations when they looked at the scanned manuscript, it seems that indirect objects are ineffective… "

"But… but there are many things that can't be explained with just 'feel' or 'imagination', such as my father's car, although I know she doesn't understand cars at all, the car was still fixed. My mother, even if she just thinks I stole something, the check is really in my pocket, and the silver-white wand of hers… "

"This is the scary thing. They seem to not only affect people's minds, but they can also change some natural laws in the world according to their own needs. At present, the closer the target is, the more obvious the effect." Hermione looked closely at her analysis. "It's not easy to deal with… So much information is given to you by Ghogho?"

"Yes, he didn't say much, I told you all."

"Oh, I don't have a clue at all… The explanation of Ghogho can't even raise a sense of crisis, but I always feel that something big will happen… If I'm in school, I can probably check the library, but I only got nothing but a lot of medical books at home." Hermione walked to a huge bookcase and looked at the rows of difficult majestic books inside. "Such mental control is like an epidemic, people fell ill one by one, and people infection one by one… "

"That sounds horrifying!"

"That's how diseases are. But the good news is that no matter what the virus is, one percent of all human beings will have antibodies. "

"Antibodies?"

"Simply put, it is an immunoglobulin that can cure diseases. Remember that I took your finger blood and hair before the holiday, and Harry's and Ron's? I ask my mum to take it for a test, but your protein is no different. It seems that resisting this kind of controlling power field is not the job of the immune system. I think it may be that your brains are special, or… " She paused. "Of course it's an assumption, assuming that all of us are one body system overall, people like you are the antibodies in the system, and the whole body of these individuals is an antibody."

"We are the Mary Sue antibodies in the Mary Sue… epidemic site?"

"Something like that, I think there may be many kinds of antibodies, such as the resistant type like you and Luna, the neglecting type like Harry, and maybe there are more? That's not clear."

"I am an antibody… That's kinda sudden… What do antibodies do?"

"Cure diseases."

"How?"

Hermione didn't know more about this than Ginny. She looked through Ginny's oral account carefully, and her eyes suddenly lit up.

"Don't you see your sister's thoughts sometimes? Start from here and figure out under what circumstances can it work."

Hermione looked at Ginny expectantly, but the latter did not answer. Ginny rummaged with her hands in her pockets. After a while, she took out her hand regretfully and asked:

"Hermione… is there an Anywhere Door in the world?"

"What do you want with that?"

"To go to a slightly safer world… "
