Fawkes

On Saturday, the weather was clear and a bee stopped on the calendar.

Early in the morning, Colin equipped his camera and started working hard to become a photographer. He walked along the corridor of Hogwarts and captured many beautiful moments with the lens. Crookshanks chasing the Scabbers; Hermione and Ron quarrelling; Percy and Penelope kissing under the stairs; Malfoy wearing a blank expression, sitting next to Aquamarine; Harry bumping into the goal on the training ground; Luna and Neville drifting around in their idleness.

Colin flipped through the increasingly full album, hoping that a friend could share this great moment in life with him.

His wish was not lost. When he reached the eighth floor, he found a few soft whimpers in the empty hallway. Colin looked around and found the sound coming from the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. He lifted the tapestry and saw Ginny squatting down, tears streaming down her face.

"Ginny, why are you crying?" he said, pressing the camera shutter.

"I… I… I feel like I have lived for twelve years for nothing… I have not been able to do anything for anyone… or myself. Every time I think about this, I feel heartbroken… "Ginny quickly buried her face in the blanket. "Please don't take photos of me now… "

"Don't be like this, I'm sure it's fine." Colin patted Ginny's back with concern.

He pulled Ginny up to the top floor, sat down on the roof, pointed to the huge sun in the sky, and said passionately:

"Bath your troubles in the sun, and they'll be gone! Why are you crying?"

"My life is tragic!" Ginny couldn't help it, crying loudly. From Hermione's revenge to detentions to HESSAC to the Howler sent from home to lack of sleep and all kinds of grievances.

"I'm under a lot of pressure… They impeach me whenever they want for fun… You can't think of those reasons... They forced me to write self-criticisms… I don't know how to write essays at all, you know… Hermione forbids me to leave HESSAC… She's making my life so hard for that laptop… My mother is so fierce… I don't have pocket money anymore… Professor McGonagall is even more fierce… My homework always disappears inexplicably… The library books also bully me… I feel sorry for Hagrid because of that incident, but I feel more sorry for myself, Chopin can't play my pity! Do you understand, Colin, do you understand?"

Colin pretended to understand and responded eagerly to Ginny.

"I know, I know, puberty syndrome… "

"What syndrome? Well, no matter what that is, anyway, I'm almost as terminally ill… If I want to jump down from here after a while, hold me back a bit."

Colin was taken aback and quickly pulled Ginny back into the corridor.

"At this time, you need psychological counselling." Colin thought for a while. "I remember that there is a counselling room in the student handbook. I'll check it for you. You should check it out."

Ginny didn't answer, she raised her head absent-mindedly, saw the big clock on the tower, screamed, flung Colin away and rushed downstairs.

"Don't! Don't jump!" Colin chased in a panic.

"No, I forgot to clean the headmaster's office! If they know about this they'll impeach me again!"

Ginny was nervous, she hurried to the headmaster's office on the third floor and said "Godiva Truffles" to the statue. Before the statue was completely split, she squeezed into the gap in the middle.

"It's over, I should have cleaned it yesterday morning, I forgot all about it. I hope the inspection team hasn't come… " Ginny whispered, climbing up the spiral staircase. She took the bucket, rag and broom, and walked to the headmaster's office.

At the door, she stopped suddenly because she heard a familiar sneer.

Professor Dumbledore has not been at school since the first day of school. The headmaster's office will not be the inspection team... Ginny gently put down the sanitary ware in her hand, raised her ears to check the movement inside, and at the same time recalled where she had heard this sneer.

"...Stop making up some ridiculous reasons, I said I don't want and it means I don't want to!"

She heard that it was Astoria, and her voice was full of impatience.

"That's not up to you."

There is also a low male voice in the room, his speech was very soft and difficult to recognize.

"Why! Why is everyone one of you like this!" Astoria yelled irritably, "For so many years, I did whatever you say! Just listen to me for once! Don't get innocent people involved!"

"Fawkes is not people." The other voice remained calm.

"So what if it's not people? What's so good with humans? What right do we have to think that we are nobler and more important than other creatures! Humans are only better than animals when they do evil! I think dementors are cuter than people! What qualifications do people like me to seize their power?"

"You're sounding like a protagonist from a teen manga."

"Whatever! I just don't want to consume the vitality of others! Anyway, can't it be enough to give you the results you want in the end!"

"Don't underestimate her, being impulsive is tantamount to digging your own grave."

"I learned it all from you!"

"Didn't learn it well enough," the cold voice joked.

There was a sound of smashing porcelain in the room, and Ginny could imagine Astoria's distorted face with anger just by listening.

"Damn you! Damn you all! That's why I don't wanna work with you! You always have such an unhurried attitude! Why should I be the one to watch her! You only think of me whenever this happens, don't you? Can you not think of me as a Mary Sue? Just think of me as Astoria Greengrass! I don't want to take anything from anyone! Why don't you understand! I hate all of you!"

"Do you think we like ourselves."

The calm and quiet words made the violent Astoria stunned. She seemed to feel that she had said too much, her temper disappeared, but she did not want to admit defeat and continued to do her best and roar.

"I will not touch Fawkes!"

"Meaningless hysteria. It has nothing to do with me. Look at yourself, if you are strong enough, you don't need Fawkes."

Astoria's anger was completely extinguished, turning into an exhausting steam, warmly lingering around her. She went silent and stared at the ceramic shards for a long, long time. With a long sigh, she took out her wand and restored everything that had been damaged and whispered:

"I'm sorry... you are right... I just want to let out some anger. This is the nature of people like us, never grow up and have no brains."

"Indeed, but it's already hard enough to deal with."

"I feel better." Astoria clapped her hands. "Come on, Fawkes."

The world was silent for a while, the low male voice said again

"Don't hesitate, you know that Phoenix won't die."

"I know, but I feel sorry for him… " Ginny heard the phoenix singing and flapping wings, and then found a soft red light streaming down from the bronze keyhole. She lowered her body and looked through the small hole, and the scene in front of her was stunning!

Astoria was kissing a burning phoenix, and the golden and red flames flowed quietly like water waves towards Astoria. The whole room melted into a hot orange shade, like the sun. Slowly, the light group shrank and became more and more dazzling. The girl and the phoenix were both submerged in the light and could not be told apart. Ginny closed her eyes because of the brightness, and her black vision was filled with one light circle after another, like a dream.

When she opened her eyes again, the light disappeared, the gorgeous and majestic firebird was gone, and a fledgling chick on the sycamore tree took its place.

"Okay, satisfied?" Astoria stroked the chick. "Can I go now?"

"I also want to remind you to converge in work in the future."

Ginny tried to find the other person in the room, but that person seemed to be standing out of the keyhole.

"I know, I know, that old thing has said it many times. I can't help it. I feel itchy when I see her showing up. Quiet childish, I know, but this is our nature, something in our blood, can't be changed at all."

"But… "

"I know, I will try my best."

"Also, don't bother Draco."

"He asked you to tell me?" Astoria smiled bitterly. "That's kinda unfair. He's the only one I know here. Tell that little girl not to bother you, then I won't bother him. You don't like her calling you Uncle Sev~~~ do you? Calm down… calm down… I won't say anything, put down the wand… "

Seeing that Astoria was about to come out, Ginny decided to leave. She turned around, stepped into the bucket next to her, and fell into the corridor with the broom and mop.

Before she got up, Astoria had already rushed into the corridor, saw Ginny lying on the ground at a glance, and yelled in panic: "You!"

The other person rushed over after hearing the sound. Ginny took a look and yelled in panic: "You!"

She saw a scene that was a thousand times scarier than any scene in The Grudge-Snape was walking towards her.

"This is the Gryffindor one." A very calm tone.

"I swear! I don't know anything! I'm here to sweep the floor!" Ginny subconsciously put a bucket on her head as protection while shouting wildly, telling the world that she indeed had a guilty conscience.

"I know, it's okay."

Ginny noticed that the bucket on her head had been removed, and Snape in front of her raised his wand at her.

"Oh look! A butterfly!" Ginny yelled out of the window, pushing Astoria behind her with all her strength, and rushing towards the stairs.

Snape didn't even look back. With a flick of his wand, a beam of white light hit Ginny on the back of the head, and she staggered to the ground.

"Children." Astoria stepped forward and kicked Ginny's arm lightly. "Can't even tell lies."

"Then why did you look outside just now… "

"Um… ahem… is she okay?"

"I Obliviated her, she will wake up in a while. Put her on the chair of the headmaster's office, and when she wakes up, she will think that she just fell asleep. Wouldn't be a new experience to her."

Astoria drew out her wand, threw Ginny on the sofa in the headmaster's office, found another blanket to cover her, locked the door, and left.

Listening to her footsteps drifting away, Ginny sat up, half-opened her mouth and sat there blankly for a while, but she couldn't figure out what happened today.

Shouldn't I have already forgotten everything by now? But I still remember every word they said…
