Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Code of Honor. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Star Wars, Disney, and Lucas Arts.

(Republic Arquitens class cruiser, 19BBY)

Tracyn could only stare forward as the shuttle docked with the ship. The young Mandalorian only seem spurred on by his Master who was only too amused to say anything. It wasn't as if he had any problem with this at the time.

"Are you ever not excited to see another Jedi who has more Prestige than me?" Gest questioned with a smile as he seemed to tilt his head before he looked at the tube.

"I'm sorry, master. I just like seeing another Jedi. It's nice seeing what will come next. Honestly? I'm curious what Master Skywalker is doing in this part of the galaxy. He's usually busy when it comes down to missions like this." Tracyn stated before he sighed and seemed to look around with interest.

"Jedi handle missions all over the galaxy, young Tracyn. We are simply part of the balance of power in the galaxy. If we don't protect it? It collapses, then nothing will ever be the same. Nothing will be whole again." Gest stated before he rubbed at his temples. "We need to get on with the mission. I've heard that Master Skywalker has a new Padawan. I'm sure you've either met her or you may have heard about her in other classes. I'll wait for them both before we move onto the next mission." Gest stated before he sighed and seemed to glance around the room.

He was going to be ready for what came next. Whatever came to them? He'd be primed for the behavior of this next move.

There was a hiss and a snap as the airlock connected to the shuttle. It had been far too odd at the moment, far to come and primed for it.

The doors opened he was greeted by both Master Skywalker and his Padawan. He had seen dozens of holos with the Jedi Master, a man from the desert planet of Tatooine which made him question how he had been on this path before.

The girl next to him was maybe a year younger, maybe only a year older. He couldn't tell with Togruta. Her drooping head tails often made him question if the species and Twi'leks had any history or anything similar when he thought about it. She was a little bit shorter than him as well. He couldn't tell yet considering both would still be growing for a time.

"Master Gest? It's nice to see you." Anakin said before he noticed Tracyn. "And you must be his Padawan I've heard so much about. Ahsoka, say hello. We are going to be on a mission with Master Gest and his Padawan after all." Anakin said with a small smile as the Togrutan Jedi smiled.

"You have to forgive General Skywalker, he's been forgetting the briefing and trying to cover it up," Ahsoka said before she tilted his head. "Tracyn, right? I've heard your name in at least one class while I was at the temple. We weren't in the same class if you don't remember me." Ahsoka added to which Tracyn shyly nodded and looked down at the ground.

"I'm glad you both aren't off on the wrong foot, this mission hinges on teamwork," Gest said before turning to Anakin. "I'm sure you've briefed your men? We're to retrieve the senator and then return her to the Resolute while the Thunderbolt draws their fire?" Gest questioned to which Anakin nodded.

"Yes, we make sure that they're ready and returning to Coruscant at the second," Anakin stated before he brushed off his armor.

"We're going to be doing a Skywalker plan, aren't we?" Gest questioned with a why smile as he seemed to stare into space.

There was a fire in his eyes while the Bothan Jedi seemed to stare at him like a Mynock seeing prey. It had been rather interested in what to do next. There would be a bigger battle here, a lot more interest in the mission.

"Knowing my master? Probably?" Ahsoka snarked as her master turned toward her. "What? You have a reputation, Skyguy. Master Gest knows what's going to happen. He is one of the better strategists in the order considering he's a Bothan." Ahsoka added as Gest chuckled to himself.

"There's not much reason to think much of that, Ms. Tano. I'm simply a humble Jedi from the Outer Rim." Gest said before he turned to Tracyn. "Tracyn? Me and Master Skywalker must discuss the final details of the plan. If I leave you and Padawan Tano here, I assume you're fine until we return?" Gest questioned to which the Jedi Padawan nodded.

"If that's what you need, Master Gest. I'll try my hardest to stay behaved and unexcited in what comes next." Gest stated before he hummed and glanced around with interest.

There was a lot more interest in what was coming. The fact that there was so much on the line made him only chuckle as he realized that his master was being serious. He cleared his throat when it came down to it. There were more soldiers on this battlefield at the second. It had become a weird part of the battle when he returned his mind to it. Still? If his master expected him to be a certain way? He'd try his best when he considered it.

He watched as the man started to walk away, not entirely convinced that his student wouldn't cause any trouble. It'd be a hard enough battle with more soldiers in the fray.

"Well, since my padawan has been so involved in planning this? I'll let her explain her plan to your Padawan… if that's alright." Anakin said as Ahsoka rolled her eyes.

"Master Skywalker plans to attack the Separatist base from above, using this ship as a diversion while we take out the rest of their reinforcements and communications," Ahsoka said while she looked down at her holodisk. "Since the droids will be entirely focused on Master Gest and Master Skywalker? We will escort the senator to the landing pad where a gunship will pick us up…" Ahsoka said as Tracyn tilted his head.

"So, it's YOUR plan to go in and break stuff? Huh, I thought that was what Master Skywalker was famous for." Tracyn said as Anakin laughed.

"She's rubbing off a bit on me, young Padawan," Anakin said before he glanced at Gest. "I believe we should discuss how this mission will go from there. The Separatists have the system locked down, a single misstep and they send in reinforcements." Anakin said before Gest motioned him towards the bridge.

Both Ahsoka and Tracyn stared after them as they seemed to question what was going on. The two Padawans watched the doors close behind them.

"I heard you're getting your command. Master Skywalker must have a lot of faith in you if he's already making you commander." Tracyn stated to which Ahsoka seemed to shrug.

"Tell that to Skyguy," Ahsoka said with a smirk. "He's letting me lead, doesn't mean he thinks I'm ready for this. I don't know what his plan is. We're going to be breaking into a base like this, he's probably expecting the droids to just let the prisoner go… Still? Does mean the tinnies aren't going to take us seriously." Ahsoka stated before she seemed to rub her temples.

"Tinnies?" Tracyn asked with a tilt of his head.

"What I call battle droids. They're not very smart compared to clones, are they? Lieutenant Vaughn doesn't seem to think so." Ahsoka questioned to which she got a nod. "We're handling it the best we can, though. I've heard a lot about you, though compared to the clankers. You're from Mandalore, aren't you?" Ahsoka questioned to which he seemed to tilt his head.

"That's what Master Gest told me. Says it could be really important, but I don't see why." Tracyn stated while he rubbed at his temples. "Honestly? I just want to focus on being a Jedi, save the galaxy, stop this war, beat some clankers into scrap." Tracyn stated before he tilted his head.

"I heard Master Gest is letting you lead the squad of clones who are helping save the Senator. Should be cool." Ahsoka said as Tracyn nodded.

"Maybe, but we still need to deal with the guards. I heard there's going to be a few new droids down there. They want the Senator. Master Skywalker and Gest will have their hands full." Tracyn stated before he tilted his head as of the second.

He was honestly curious as of the second. He was a lot more hopeful. He was going to be hopeful, interested in what this would bring at the time and how he was going to go about this. The fact that he had pushed it to this degree.

He was going to snap. He's going to be hopeful. He wanted to believe that this wouldn't break so badly. There was only so much that he could do to try and fix this problem. The fact that he had a lot more on his plate as a Jedi?

Well, he was honestly curious and wished to be a Jedi, he wasn't going to become a Jedi without some real training.

"So, I'm going to guess you're bringing a squad of clones? The plan that Master Gest talked about? He had mentioned 2 squads of clones. He and Master Skywalker are dealing with the mains security and dealing with the rest of the base." Tracyn stated before he tilted his head to the side.

He was honestly curious as to the facts that had been here. She was going into battle with him. There was a lot to plan for, a lot more to do at the time and a few more seconds wouldn't go amiss.

"Yeah, Lieutenant Vaughn and his men, Sterling, Ridge… We're going to be ready to go in 10 minutes." Ahsoka said before she tilted her head as of the second. "We're ready if that's what you're asking. I did come up with the plan that we need to do. If Master Skywalker had bothered to tell me? We'd be able to handle this better." Ahsoka added as she crossed her arms.

Tracyn said nothing while he tilted his head as of the second. He paced back and forth at the second. He had been curious at the second while he rubbed at his temples and looked back at the second.

He was going to be curious at the second. He was honestly ready to be hopeful.

Still? If this was a mission? He'd handle it. Tracyn was a Jedi to the bone and he had been curious as to what to do next.

The two Padawans started to walk towards the back of the craft. They were ready for this mission, but they were still nervous as of the second. It had been intense for them when it came down to it.

He looked over a few more Clones that had been happily milling about. Ahsoka and Tracyn shared a look as the two Padawans looked at the Republic soldiers.

"Boys? We're going to be having some fun today with the clankers." Ahsoka stated before he sighed to herself. "This is Padawan Tracyn, he'll be in command of the 77th Company for now…. Vaughn? Sterling, where is Lieutenant Vaughn?" Ahsoka questioned as Tracyn hummed.

"He's with Lieutenant Checkmate, sir." They heard as she turned to him.

"That would be my second in command," Tracyn stated with a hum as he nodded to their men.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! For those who want a longer chapter? I plan to make the next chapter longer. I have a question. Since this story will be different versions of the clone wars? Do people want Jango, Maul, and such in the story? The next chapter will be 2-10 months and will show the first part of the attack. Until the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!
