(Republic Arquitens class cruiser, 19BBY)
The LAAT descended through the clouds into a hail of laser fire. Both Ahsoka and Tracyn were aware of the fact that their masters were handling problems beyond what they wished. This had been something they cherished and wished to cherish at the end of the blasted day no matter what it had been and what it would have been no matter what. The small little things they had gotten were little to cherish for the time being.
Still? if they were to be on the mission? It didn't hurt no matter what had happened at the moment. This had been something that needed to be handled and dusted before long. It couldn't be stated just how much was at stake if they failed… Nor how much would be much of a problem to what they stood for at the time being as of the time being.
She knew that, but she didn't know if he was aware of that at the second. It had been a lot to absorb for now when all was said and done.
"Always has to be a show-off," Ahsoka stated before she rolled her eyes. "Everyone gets ready. There will still be droids down there and we both know there will be security. Everyone ready blasters for now." Ahsoka stated while she spun her saber in her hand.
She knew this plan wouldn't be fair. There would be more droids than a handful of droids. The separatists would have to be stupider than anything to not do something like this. Anyone with even a little bit of intelligence in them would honestly attempt to oppose them. Not the most original of battle plans… But if they didn't reach the senator in time? the man would be killed and they'd have nothing. Lives would have been thrown away for nothing.
That couldn't happen, not here. Not now. Ahsoka looked to Tracyn who seemed to be holding his saber as if the blade would shatter without him holding it properly. She could sense something within him that was stirring to get out. She didn't know if it was fear… But she damn well wished to find out what had been bugging him to the end of the days. It had to be something. He'd need time to find out what it was and how to stop it… That meant time they didn't have to handle something clearly outside the ray of their plans.
She looked down at her friend with a faint smile that made him blink. She sighed and realized that her friend was probably nervous. She couldn't blame him; she had a little doubt in her stomach as well. This was their first real mission… Or at least his at any real rate. They had to be ready for any little thing no matter what it was either blasted way for the time being.
If she wanted to at the moment? She knew that she could deal with the problems in this if need be. The only real problem with this at the time being. She had to be ready for whatever was said and done.
This had been something that needed to be dealt with before now. it is a problem for the rest of the army when it came down to it. There was more to see and do before this was all said and done.
An explosion shook the air as the two slowly started to think of what to say and do next. There was a lot more to question before this was said and done.
This was a lot more to say and do before this was all done at the end of the day. He had been questioning what they were capable of at the moment.
Their transport shook slightly before a Vulture Droid slowly started to crash and burn, flames bursting from its shell before it came down and crashed into a mountain. The LAAT spiraled out of control before slowly starting to fly off into the air.
There was something more than it had been a lot more interesting as of the time being. They had so damn much when it came down to it. there was a lot more to this than she expected.
The gunship flew around one of the pipes before opening fire on one of the turrets below. This battle had only just begun and yet it had been something that couldn't be ignored. They had to be ready to fight and cut down as many droids as possible. He'd need to cut through them as possible when all was said and done.
"EVERYONE OUT!" The pilot yelled as the LAAT landed and the doors slid open.
Both looked out onto the roof as they glanced around before humming. They ignited their lightsabers as both seemed to slowly glance around. This had been something horrid and annoying to all of them despite what was going on at the moment.
Both knew blasted well there would be chaos all over the place. It couldn't be understated that they were still learning the ropes of this despite the rest of their plans for the time being. anything else really didn't exist yet.
Both Jedi looked at the other before slowly starting to proceed ahead. It had been something amusing. Something that neither was used as of the time being. despite the sheer force they had to contend with? She wasn't going to back down even with the odds against her at the end of the day. they had a mission and this wasn't going to stop her no matter what and he knew for a fact this could end worse than it had been before now.
What little he had been on the problem as of the time being when it came down to this. This had been more than she expected for now. It was a lot more curious to her
This had been a lot more interesting to him as of the time being when it came to the plans this had been a lot more to say and do before time was over. She turned and flipped behind cover as a group. This was a lot more of a rush than she expected.
The Togruta watched as Tracyn sliced into another B2 which tried to fire at her before turning towards her. It had been something odd for now that he couldn't explain but he wanted to as of the second.
"Not the fun you expected?" Tracyn asked before bringing up his lightsaber. "There are more droids here than I expected… Seems not all of them are thrown off before it came down to it." Tracyn stated before he hummed to himself.
"There's a lot more fun here to be coming down to it," Tracyn stated before he turned and started to continue fighting the droids.
The two had cut through the droids like knives into butter. Ahsoka brought one of her lightsabers through a B2, slicing the machine in 2 and then pushing it into another wave of B1s. She turned to see Tracyn's blue lightsaber cut through one of the droids as if they hadn't been there a second later. She could only chuckle. Curious as of now. Curious as to what the move was going to be coming next… Whatever came next seemed to make or break this mission. The idea had been a lot more to question as of now.
This had been a lot more as of the second. It always seemed to be more on them. There always appeared to be more for them. It seemed as if they were thrown off even when all of this was said and done. It seemed as if they were thrown into the deep end either way… And that was how it'd remain to them as of now.
Still? Their mission had been done for the time being. The droid was nothing compared to the young Mandalorian had dealt with before now. What little she knew about the droids meant that she had been a lot more curious as to how to stop them.
Still? He'd be an odd little thing for now. It had been an odd little part of life for now when all was said and done. This was going to be a lot odder of a thing for now.
Tracyn was honestly an odd Jedi for now when this came down to it as of the time being. Still? He questioned what the mission was before now.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Ahsoka questioned as the two Jedi looked over at the dozens of Jedi. "First time fighting a bunch of droids?" Ahsoka asked before he seemed to tilt his head before now.
Ahsoka had been an odd little idea for now. He had been a lot more curious for now. It'd be an odd little part of now when this seemed to be a problem. She had known for this little thing. It seemed to question at the time while it came down to it.
"Are you ok?" Tracyn questioned as more B1s started to attack the roof while she seemed to question what to do next to take out the rest of the soldiers.
She surged forward, cutting one of the B1s in half as she flipped over and into the next platform. The female Togruta slammed her foot into one of the B1s, its head shattering into pieces as Tracyn followed behind her. It honestly seemed as if she had been trying to tutor as of the second.
It was a lot more to question. It had been a wild second when the move was over with. This was going to be a lot odder for now. There was a lot more to fight and stomach. She had been a lot odd before now.
'What is going to happen if we aren't fast enough? More of these droids are going to destroy everything. We don't act fast enough and everyone gets killed. Great plan, Ahsoka. You're going to hit rock bottom faster than these droids are.' Tracyn added mentally as he turned in time to see Ahsoka cut through another of the B1s as if it hadn't been there before.
Still? if he was honestly as ready for this? It'd be a nice little move for now. He wanted total control if anything had been for the time being.
This was going to be a lot more to question at the second. This had a lot more interesting as of now. What came next would-be part of the hardest fight for now.
The human brought his saber through a B2 before he seemed to question the moment. There were a lot more droids here. He'd give the Separatists at least a warning shot and some credit for the fact they had stalled the rescue team… If only for a small part of the mission. Yet they couldn't afford to stay on the roof.
This had been an odd little part of the idea. Had they prepared all this to catch them off guard? Wouldn't surprise him, they had wanted to torture the man and all this did was give them an outlet which this could honestly seem to question before now.
"What's going to happen next? If we don't break through them soon? They're going to stall out the entire operation." Tracyn stated as he and her started to think of the idea and what to do next. If they planned to stall out this little part of the plan? It was working a lot more than it had been as of now. What came next was an odd little point in history.
Still? This was going to be a lot weirder than it had been before now. It was their assignment, their mission, their piece of the pie to pick up. They had to be ready, they would be ready for now. Yet it seemed a lot less as if they had something to deal with, for now, the idea had a lot less promise than this, a lot more of an odd issue at the end of the day.
They would be ready no matter what would they be doing next. The ideas were for now. The idea had been something that had been planted in the back of her head.
"You good?" Ahsoka asked as the two slowly waded into the droid lines.
"First mission with another Jedi besides Master Gest, little nervous is all, not used to this sort of thing," Tracyn said before a bolt almost took his head off.
Ahsoka nodded, it wasn't like she had much more experience on these missions than he. Yet? She had been aware of what was at stake for now. It had been a weird little problem and one she couldn't wait to get into it. They had the advantage; they could do this if they wanted and they'd need to get it done in some sort of way.
She looked over her shoulder, for now, it'd be a long way before they managed to secure the target, what they did know was that this would be a problem for them, a big problem.
"Stick with me and Vaughn, we're going to get through this one way or another," Ahsoka said before Tracyn nodded and looked at her with interest, it had been something odd for now, something that made him laugh.
"From what I heard from Master Skywalker? You're usually the one getting into trouble." Tracyn said before stabbing through a B1 and using its wreck to survive another blaster bolt aimed at his head.
It had oh so much been a weird little thing for him, he laughed, all the same, thrown off only by how this had a weird little spot in their lives into the fire, it had been an odd little time, for now, the problem was simple, it couldn't be dealt with before now… Yes, it'd be a good little bit of exercise if not for what little more could come next.
The LAAT turned only to fire a pair of missiles as it departed, the explosive warheads hit the roof and blew not only holes in it but dropped all of them through the floor a second later.
What little he knew was just how badly it seemed to have gone. A lot worse than what he had dealt with before now. It had been something he didn't want to see happen sooner or later. Yet? Here they were, dealing with a lot more than they dreamed of at the end of the day. it had been a lot more interesting for the time being. it was a lot worse.
Still? He seemed to question what to do next, he had more on his mind than the droids. He needed to look at the end of the plan.
Ahsoka slashed through one of the B2s before she pushed them into the wall. She turned to Tracyn as one of the droids tried to get another shot before, he turned and stabbed the droid.
"Well, that was a nightmare… Off to a great start." Tracyn stated before he sighed now.
"There are a lot more droids below," Ahsoka stated to which she sighed and extinguished her lightsabers. "Vaughn? Take some men and secure the door. You're going to be ok." Ahsoka stated to which she frowned to herself.
She tilted her head at Tracyn as he tilted his head. She was oh curious before as of now. It had been a weird little problem. Whatever little thing he did next would be a problem. The idea as of now was going to be a lot worse. They had a lot more to question.
"We're going to need to be going forwards," Ahsoka stated to which Tracyn frowned and pointed towards the door.
"We should get going, the more droids that get in the way? The more of them we need to fight and those problems that will keep getting in the way, there was a lot more as of now?" Tracyn stated before he frowned to himself.
Still? He knew this plan was going to be a problem. There were a few holes in it, just like there seemed to be with most things. Yet? If there was a worse problem? It hadn't shown itself yet. There was a lot more of a problem of what the droids could have set up to try and kill them and both of them knew it, both of them knew the droids could have set up more traps and problems than they could handle solo.
Yet? If they could help it? there were probably to be more droids and both the Togruta and Human knew they had to be dealt with before something terrible came of it, before more droids than they could handle came down and they were swimming in Separatist droids.
And the last thing they wanted was more of the droids to be breathing down their throats, it was a nightmare that neither had come to terms with before long.
He sighed as he slowly tore open the door and slowly started to get down there. Ahsoka slowly followed with more droids, he seemed as if he questioned what to do next. More droids were sure to follow as Vaughn with more soldiers for now.
This fight had been a weird little thing that hadn't yet come down to them.
Still? it was Ahsoka and his plan, either they failed or something else came up. The Togruta was familiar with weird plans, but this was entirely on another level of insane when all was said and done. The fact of the matter is they just weren't ready for it, weren't on the level.
The two Jedi Commanders led their clones lower, curious as to what awaited them down in the depths of the base. They left many shattered Battle Droids and even some of their men behind them.
Both knew there were more terrors below where the General and his troops. The elite ones are laid in waiting. Neither wanted to be the one to wake up the savage beast lurking down below.
"So, Commander?" Both heard as they turned to Vaughn. "You and Commander Tracyn know each other?" Vaughn questioned to which both Jedi nodded.
"Few training matches and some study lessons, yeah. It had been something." Tracyn added as they descended further and now. "And all of this was a plan we've been working on for a longer time than anything else. It was a lot weirder than it was back in training." Tracyn stated for now.
He had a lot more for the time before now. The idea had been something dwelling in their minds more than anything. They had more droids to fight, for now, it had been a lot.
Tracyn looked at Ahsoka who had been prepared. She twirled her lightsabers around, too curious about what was coming and what still needed to be done. Yep, it'd be one of those weird little days that they all slowly slunk into a base, unsure of what horrors would be below.
Oy did it bother them, too interested in what was to come, too invested to just back down. In-between them for now? They had nothing to lose but their lives, the lives of their soldiers, and whoever decided to follow them into the chaos in front of them. It had been a nightmare of logistics, but it wasn't like they could back down.
More droids began to emerge as the group crept down the hallway. Tracyn and Ahsoka ignited their lightsabers, lighting up the chamber as they rushed ahead, reducing the pair of B1 sentries into a pair of scrap metal junk piles on the ground, it made them all too surprised for what was to be a small base.
"We need to move before they realize what's going on and lock down the entire base," Tracyn stated before he sighed to question what to do next.
The plan seemed to be going well enough, for now, what wasn't going well was the amount of security they were dealing with, it just didn't make sense for what had been on the reports.
The prisoner had to be a lot more important than it seemed to be for now. What mattered was liberating them before the Seppies managed to extract someone for them.
Still? Such a prize would have more security waiting for them, certainly more than this and more than they could handle head-on in a real fight before long. It had to be completed soon or else they'd be screwed.
There was a lot more to be made, a lot more tiring effort to be placed into this. The idea had something that needed to be done and dusted.
He had been there before now, the idea had been so much weirder than it had been. He needed to get this over with.
"More droids are coming, General." Vaughn tilted his head as he hummed. "Should we split up? Make sure there are more cells below?" Vaughn stated with a sigh as he did so.
"No, not yet," Ahsoka stated to which she shared a look at Tracyn.
"Maybe we should, there's a lot more ground to cover and no time to do anything about it," Tracyn stated before he sighed to himself, curious as to how to do this.
"Well, splitting up isn't going to help much more than anything. We still have droids to scrap… Plus? We know where they're keeping the senator. We just didn't know how much security they had down in the prison." Tracyn stated to himself.
he heard nothing mothing for a second when it came down to it. Tracyn stated nothing more than a few words.
"Are we seriously going to get scared anytime soon?" Ahsoka stated to which Tracyn as of now. "The senator isn't going to save himself," Ahsoka stated as she tilted her head once more.
There was a lot more to this than anything else, a nightmare that hadn't been contained anytime soon.
This mission had to be done yet. This was done.
Author notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 900-6500 words and will show both Ahsoka and Tracyn inside the base. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be delayed a bit. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: I might have one more story idea for now and such. It will be delayed more now, until then, Lighting Wolf out!
