Last Chapter…
The last image he received was a strange one. The traitors appeared to be squabbling over something. Goh, who was ranting and screaming over something, was snuggled up next to Chloe. For whatever reason, Lillie was not in Ash's line of sight. Cilan was engaging Clemont in a detailed conversation while he was pointing down at a piece of paper.
Blinking, Ash. "What... what do these represent? None of these images have any significance!" He was a little irritated. James unexpectedly smiled a little. "Look at the Chloe twerpette more closely." Ash arched his brow. "Why do you say that? It appears that Chloe is only doing this to grope her soon-to-be-beaten boyfriend."
James' grin continued to grow. "Not Chloe twerpette, but the other one." Ash's eyes somewhat expanded and flitted to the images. He examined the first image, and it supported what James had said. It was obvious to him that Lillie was making a face; it wasn't a gross-out expression. She appeared to be... melancholy. James gestured. "Watch the toy in the window."
Ash noticed it and his eyes sprung up. a doll of Pikachu. That was in no manner a coincidence. He needed to validate what he was seeing, but despite his best efforts, the large picture remained in his head. When he saw what Lillie was seeing on her phone in the following image—a photograph of Melemele Airport—his eyes widened. the location of...
After a brief search, he discovered Lillie in the backdrop of the third image holding her phone angled up, almost like...
"She's recording them on camera! However, the fundamental query is: Why is she recording this in the first place?" James answered. "The first two photos weren't mine, but I did snap the last one and kind of followed her around. Out of pure curiosity, I learned enough to plan my own trip to the Alola Region." Ash spoke gradually. "Something tells me you aren't just telling me this to let me know you failed to find anything." His companion smiled. "You're absolutely correct. It transpired that Lillie's mother vanished a day before she set out on her travel through Kanto."
Ash's eyes slightly narrowed in response. "Six years ago, what? She vanished just before they declared me dead, right? How on earth did I miss this?" James clarified. "That was also bothering me. I researched at Aether Paradise in Alola and discovered some amazing stuff. I learned that her abductors only kept her for ten days in all before handing her back."
Misty enquired "Kidnapped?"
James nodded. "Yes, but it isn't the strangest aspect." Ash enquired. "So what was it then?"
"It was the alleged fact that she was returned to her house unharmed and that the kidnappers allegedly received nothing in return. Unable to control his slightly eager tone of voice," he continued. Misty paused for a second to process everything. "That's pretty strange, she was only imprisoned for a week and a half before being released without being paid a ransom. That almost suggests that she was a..."
"Bargaining Tool" James completed it for her. As soon as Ash turned to face him, everything made sense.
"Do you believe that the traitors used Lillie's mother as leverage to get her to turn against me? How can everything there come together perfectly?" James clarified. "The Alolan twerps and twerpettes would be reluctant to betray you because they had a strong bonds with you. They therefore grab her mother and demand that she work with them in order to give them more control over you, even if it is only temporarily. Despite her better judgement, she complies, and after the act is completed, Lillie's mother is given back. She cannot confront the traitors since there is just verbal evidence, and since all of them are truly backstabbing you, there is no evidence that would place them at the site of the crime."
Ash made a mention. "Still doesn't explain a couple things, such as why she is taping everything if she has no plans to use it."
James nodded. "You haven't met Lillie before, correct me if I'm wrong, but, yes?" Blinking, Ash. "What? Why do you say that? Of course, I've already met her—" James gave a head shake. "No, I'm talking about as the Red."
Ash shook his head and scowled. "I'm afraid I can't say I have."
James smirks. "Yes, if my assumption is true, she is taping this specifically for you." Ash understood that James' forecast was accurate and filled in all the holes. Red was allegedly someone who obtained services in exchange for payment; the query was, what was she offering him?
"After all, neither you nor I perform our work for nothing. When she finds me, what exactly does she have in mind; in other words, how is she going to compensate me?"
James made a small frown. "I'm afraid that small nugget of knowledge has escaped me thus far."
She started to leave when she abruptly heard a voice. It was strange that she could hear it, but suddenly, she could hear everything Red and Shelly said as well as their dialogue.
"You're the renowned Red, then." Until she heard what she said next, Misty continued to get up from her chair.
"My Sister wasn't lying at all; you are worth considering." Then she abruptly stopped. She slowly whirled around to face the battleground. She struggled to comprehend her current emotions, yet she felt guarded about Red.
"I'm free now that this battle is over, how about you?" She fixed her gaze on the stunning blonde who was now making it quite clear that she wanted to date the Kanto Champion. She glanced across at Red, who appeared indifferent. Then, after a brief pause, he spoke.
"We probably won't talk after this battle, how about you?" A man next to her yelled when he gasped. "Shelly! I'm available to spend time with you!" A different male yelled. "No! Choose me, Shelly, instead!" In response to the boys nearby, Misty shook her head. She pinched her lip as she imagined Goh screaming the same thing at her back when he was dating someone.
Shelly gave a small smirk, appearing unaffected by Red's remark. "I know you're no different from the other males who would certainly die to get into my trousers." Misty found herself silently pleading that she was mistaken about the second portion, even if she wasn't mistaken about the first part. Still confused of why she was feeling this way about a man she hardly knew, she listened to Red's response.
"Ms. Shirona, I'm probably three years your senior. As interesting as you are, I doubt your aunt would approve of me. Of course, you are a minor." Red wasn't biting the bait, and she had to hold back a giggle at that. He was obviously quite self-controlled. To her surprise, though, Shelly continued to press the champion to give her a chance.
"Then I'll strike a bargain with you!"
"And what's the deal there?"
"If you defeat me, I'll buy you dinner for just the two of us! Deal? You'll pay for our meal if I win." Misty blew up. It was sufficient! "Why, what nerve that woman had!" She yelled. Fortunately for her, a group of males shouting that they would accept the offer immediately drowned out her quite loud statement and prevented anyone from hearing her scream.
Red responded in the meanwhile. "I'll counter by saying that if you win, you can continue in the competition, and if I win, I go on. Does it sound okay?" Misty was aware of how composed and honest Ash was being in comparison to the other men in the stadium, who only seemed interested in getting into her trousers and engaging in combat. She couldn't help but look around and observe another fairly strange thing: both guys and females were gazing down at the field. She realised the harsh reality: Red was a man who attracted a lot of people.
She noticed that she was fixating on the boy wearing the red vest.
Ash gave a single, straightforward order that effectively ended the conflict. "Counter."
When Shelly heard it, her heart began to sink. Before Medicham's fist had a chance to cause any harm, it was launched into the air by the Counter just as it made contact. It was suspended in the air when Zoroark showed up, both of its claws already blazing a dark purple. Ash chuckled. "Complete it."
Zoroark didn't require two reminders. "Zzoooooooorrraaaa!" It growled as it used a dual shadow claw technique to drill the opposition. Medicham was knocked to the ground by the force of the move, and Zoroark came to rest on its legs. Medicham was seen in the bottom of the trench formed by the two manoeuvres, its eyes swirling. The referee announced it as the audience erupted in applause.
"Medicham cannot proceed, and Zoroark is the winner! Red, the Kanto Champion, is the victor of this match and the trainer moving on to the next round." As he said it, Red's image appeared in the centre of the large screen and Shelly's was greyed out.
In disbelief, Shelly knelt to her knees. She had left. She had been taken out. She spent a lot of time honing her skills to be the greatest she could be, but that time is now gone. All of her effort had been in vain. She gently rose to her feet as Red drew near. To her astonishment, she didn't say anything rude at all, contrary to what she had anticipated.
"You fought valiantly. Get close to all of your Pokémon, and positive things will take place." Red returned to his side, and when he entered the battler's box, he knelt down on one knee. When Zoroark got close to him, he followed suit. He remained on the ground for another few seconds while closing his eyes. He waited a short while before speaking softly.
"For those who have passed on... and for those who will follow."
Murmured Zoroark. "Zo-ra…" He then pulled Zoroark's pokeball out and forced himself to stand. He spoke softly. "Zoroark, you fought admirably; thank you."
Misty then climbed down the stairs to reach the battlefield and then said "Game over, Shelly! You are a Team Rocket member, Domino is your true name." She looked angrily at Green and then police came rapidly and then went and arrested her.
Misty then said "Red, I know Indigo Plateau belongs to Kanto but since I got intelligence that Team Rocket were going to use Domino disguised as Shelly, I asked Cynthia about Shelly and found that there was no such person named like that as her relative, I had the police arrest her but not before you showed your strength to her." Ash said on hearing that "Thank You for doing your duties!"
Present…
Ash was bored to tears as he watched the battles. He had won his first bout in the competition the day before, and now he was watching the second round. He counted up who had advanced in his head. Naturally, all of his elites had triumphed in battle, as well as all of the regional champions. The traitors had been extremely fortunate, in contrast. To Ash's surprise, all five of the participating traitors (Clemont, Dawn, Goh, Cilan, and Iris) scored nearly flawless victories in their respective fights. However, this simply made him smile and prolonged the sweetness of victory's aftertaste.
He also learned that some of his competitors from previous tournaments had triumphed and were taking part. Barry was participating, and his Empoleon was doing a fantastic job with his role. Ash pointed out that Barry was in his bracket as well and that, if things went on as they were, they might face off in the following round, providing Barry defeated Gym Leader Brawley of the Hoenn region as his next opponent.
Paul was also competing, which made Ash happy. In contrast to Ash, he was in a different bracket. Paul was in the Necrozma Bracket while Ash was in Bracket Koraidon. Gym Leaders Maylene from Veilstone City, Elesa from Nimbasa City, and Ramos from Coumarine City were other notable players in the Necrozma Bracket. There were other gym leaders in the Necrozma Bracket, of course. The names of Shauntal from Unova, Lucian from Sinnoh, and of course his very own Elite, Sabrina, were also quickly recognisable. Lance was standing in for the winner of that bracket. Lance and Sabrina might have to engage in combat, so he made a mental note to keep an eye on things.
He listed who everyone was up against next after summarising the previous battle's winners. Erika, Sabrina, and Paul were all engaged in a duel with an unknown trainer of some kind. Koga, the gang's player, faced an intriguing foe in Conway, the slightly... um, rather scary guy who had followed his group while they travelled through Sinnoh. Ash had little doubt that Koga would triumph despite Conway's convoluted strategies clashing with Koga's very direct approach.
Other than his own, there was only one other significant combat, and it wasn't with any of his allies. Since he couldn't literally face each traitor in the tournament, it was unfortunate that he wouldn't be able to duel them all.
Even though two champions (Iris and Steven) were in his bracket, he was aware of that as well. Ash was also aware that he had gotten lucky in his own bracket when it came to traitors, as he had three out of a possible five of them.
He was listed as a potential opponent for Dawn, Goh, and Iris. Since only his own elite Paul, the Johto Champion Misty, and the Champion Cynthia competed there, Clemont had been sent to the Zacian Bracket. He was eager to get the opportunity to bury them in the ground.
But he was very ahead of himself with it. He was considering his next opponent at this time. He was considering various tactics that he might employ to easily defeat all of his opponents' Pokémon. Choosing which Pokémon to utilise wasn't difficult because he already had a plan in place. Additionally, he had another move at his disposal to really enrage his rival.
His train of thinking was abruptly cut off. "Yo G."
Unconsciously, Ash looked up to see Koga standing there. Though he wasn't sure why Koga had called him that, he nonetheless reacted. "Yes?"
The man replied. " A young woman named L is waiting outside for you and claims to be travelling on urgent business.
Ash froze. He was aware of what the initials meant.
"L, Koga?"
Koga gave a nod. "Yeah."
Ash quietly said while standing up. "Tell them I'll be leaving right away." Koga nodded before leaving the building.
The girl was standing there as he left the room in the direction Koga had gone. Her blonde hair was without a doubt what made her stand out. When she saw the boy wearing the red vest, she tightened up. But she opted to disregard that and stumbled a little in her speech. "Uh oh, Mr. Red?"
"Yes?"
She said after clearing her throat. "Please allow me to speak with you alone, Mr. Red. It will be time well spent, I guarantee it."
Ash said with a chilly expression. " I'll believe you on that." He gave her a little moment before motioning for her to accompany him into a different corridor that led to his battle suite. It was a straightforward, tangible passage. About halfway through, he paused and remarked. "Well? It is what?"
She took a moment to think before quietly handing him a document. Ash started browsing the files and images there and eventually came upon a single image that he was familiar with. James had taken the exact identical image from Lillie's perspective. James' camera could be seen sticking out in the centre of the image if you looked very closely.
Ash had to act confused even though he knew what she was doing." What precisely am I observing?"
Lillie's confidence returned as she spoke. "I-I wanted to have an informational exchange. That knowledge relates to my pals; they have plans to ruin this competition for themselves by sabotaging you and other competitors. They merely want to seize whatever they want and profit from this competition. In order for you to counter them, I've also provided all of their Pokémon as well as the ones they employ the most."
Ash threw the file away. " As useful as this is to me, what's the catch? I know you didn't just bring it here for free."
She paused before speaking softly. "I... I need your assistance locating a murder."
She didn't know Ash already knew what she was talking about, but he wasn't as dim as he had been the first time he had met Misty. "I see; proceed."
So she acted. She detailed all Misty had told him regarding the terrible death of a youngster named Ash Ketchum at the hands of an erupting volcano. She then went into great detail about how she had been present when it had occurred and how she had seen Ash fall to his death while she was among the traitors. She also explained how her mother being kidnapped had forced her into doing it, allowing him to be certain that he was hearing the whole truth. Lillie knew her mother wouldn't think Ash's old pals would do such a horrible thing, even though Lillie's mother didn't know who her captors were.
Ash made a noise. You want me to look into this death and see if there is any evidence linking it to the day the volcano erupted, if my assumption is correct?
Lillie mused. "Yes… I am aware that the incident occurred more than six years ago, but I would appreciate it if you could provide me with some evidence—any evidence—to show that the people responsible for the Alola Champion's death are currently competing in this tournament."
For some reason, Ash was curious about her level of tolerance. "What did you say to him, exactly?"
She started to sob gently, but after a brief pause, she repeated what she had spoken to him more than five years earlier. "When did you ever pull me from difficulty. You are so annoying with your mannerisms, Mr. Alola Champion who is close to death!"
By this point, Ash was aware that it was agonisingly true: Lillie was actually on his side. She wasn't a traitor; rather, she was a friend. She would not, however, be the first to recognise him for what he really was. He wasn't able to divulge that much just yet. He thought for a moment and then spoke softly. "I see, so you're seeking revenge on people who put you in that situation."
Slowly nodding, she kept sniffing. "Y-Yes… Yes… If you were to assist me, I would be forever grateful to you..." Ash carefully considered what he would say. "Very good. I will support you in your endeavour since we in Kanto believe in the administration of justice, but please understand that I cannot convict anyone unless I have concrete evidence that Ash Ketchum was murdered and not tragically killed by a natural source. Miss Lillie, are you ready to own this?"
She nodded and said in a more cheery voice than she had intended. "Red, of course! Much appreciation for your assistance! How grateful I am right now is beyond words!" Red nodded, and a tiny smile started to form on his face. "I'll get in touch with you when I get more details. I have no idea when this will happen, but I'll stick to my word."
Lillie appeared to accept this and then turned to leave, saying her goodbyes. Ash then scratched his temples before returning to his seat, his head in complete disarray. He had to decide how he would handle this. Had Lillie been coerced into turning on him? All of his resentment for her had vanished in an instant, but now he was faced with other problems: establishing the veracity of the traitors and, of course, of her as well. Ash had to go along with Lillie's story until he could confirm it because there was no proof—at least not tangible proof—that it was entirely accurate.
When he reflected on his chat with her, he saw that his assumptions during it were hasty, and he suspected that he himself had done so. In such a severe circumstance, he could not allow this to occur. Then, his thoughts returned to that stunning redhead. It was hard not to kiss her, embrace her, be there for her, and do all of the aforementioned things.
He pondered her amazing shape. She possessed curves that made each male she came into contact with go crazy with want for her. She also had a stunning face, a perfect chest, an amazingly tight buttocks, and legs to die for. As unexpected as it was, he discovered that he was turning into one of them. He thought everything about her predicament was incredible. Here he was, Red, the unbeatable Kanto warrior who was feared by all and frightened by none, revealing his one and only weakness: a seductive redhead.
He turned the corner and abruptly halted. The manner that fate turned things around was peculiar. He noticed the same girl he had been focusing on recently walking in the opposite direction. Ash attentively observed her and noticed that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings very well. This would typically be regarded as stalking, but Ash reassured himself that he was acting ethically.
… was he? He genuinely believed that what he was doing was good, but he could almost hear that tiny voice in the back of his brain telling him to back off and leave this lovely girl alone. He eventually chose to pay attention to her voice as she drew further from his line of sight and turned away. He was about to lose sight of her entirely when he noticed something that made his heart flutter.
He saw two males following her gently through the dense people. He could clearly see that they were after her. He scowled; this was unacceptable.
Misty…
She cursed her bad luck in silence. She had seen Red talking to a blonde-haired girl, but she had not yet identified her. Then she made an attempt to approach him but was completely unsuccessful. When she went to catch them after seeing them disappear around a stadium corner, she did not find them. Even worse, there were no doors to be seen. She ran higher, supposing they were still up ahead, to see if she could spot them.
Unfortunately, they weren't, much to her dismay. She carefully considered where she could go to see them while hesitating. She might have overlooked them someplace. She continued to survey the crowd for another few minutes before deciding to turn around and look for him once again. She kept going around in a loop before finding herself at a pitch-black dead end. How exactly had she arrived here? She turned to leave but was startled to see two men standing there grinning. A man with a huge beard said while grinning. "Well, look at what we found right here."
Unconsciously moving back, Misty heard the other say with a sneer on his face. "It appears to be our lucky day... Having a Champion, let alone such a lovely young lady, to ourselves, my my... I'm eager to put my hands inside your pants." Misty recognised the expression in his eyes as he rambled on. She was going to be his treasure because he was lustful.
Before she could grab a pokeball from her waist, she felt a body press up against her and realised it was the man with the beard. He gave a nasty grin. Sorry Miss, but no one is coming to assist you at this time. The two men were going to abduct her, and she was helpless to stop them. When Golduck eventually emerged from the Pokeball, Misty was overjoyed to see him. The males were terrified when they saw Golduck since they knew Misty was a champion and they realised they had chosen the wrong kind of woman, despite how stunning she was.
She noticed a figure in the alleyway behind them and recognised it as Ash. They both stopped trying to grope the beauty, so they must have observed her horror since they both turned to face the figure shrouded in darkness. Misty was thrown against a wall by the man with the beard as the other person yelled." Who the hell are you to be following us around like that?" Not even realising the irony in his own words, he wordlessly flung up a pokeball to reveal a Swalot, and his buddy yelled, "Let's go, Skarmory!"
The guy silently threw two Pokémon into the air as the steel type took the field. They manifested as the legendary pink cat Mew and the ethereal ice-Ghost type Froslass. The two assailants shouted their orders.
"Use the Sludge Bomb, Swalot!"
"Skarmory, use a Drill Peck on them!"
The person eventually spoke as the two attacks soared towards the Pokémon it was holding. Misty would recall the man's coldness; he sounded more than angry; in fact, it was almost as if he wanted to kill her assailants.
"Mew, To move Sludge Bomb, use Psychic. Use hail, Froslass, to evade Drill Peck." The Sludge Bomb and Mew's eyes both glowed in blue. It was set aside after that and nailed to a neighbouring wall. Hail was about to start falling when Froslass raised its arms, but Skarmory quickly struck down the Ice-Red type.
It was Froslass until it discovered that it wasn't. The man with the beard sputtered. "W-w-wha… What happened just now? How do I find it?" Misty knew exactly what had happened, but the two men weren't at all sure. This man was aware of Froslass' Snow Cloak ability, which allowed it to evade the majority of strikes during a hailstorm. She felt immediately safer in the presence of this stranger who had come to her help because it was obvious that these two men were just brutes looking to dive into a gorgeous girl's pants.
The other head-shook. "I'm not sure, but it makes no difference! This individual is still getting the boot from us! Triple Sludge Bomb on that cat, Swalot!" The other cried out after regaining his control. "As soon as you see it, use Flash Cannon on Froslass. " "Froslass, use Double Team into Phantom Force to avoid. Mew, sneak behind the sludge bomb and cast Psychic on Swalot before throwing it towards Skarmory."
Two special attacks were about to combine when a variety of events transpired. Froslass vanished once more, this time accompanied by Phantom Force. It quickly started using Double Team and paired it with Phantom Force and its ability, giving the guys the impression that Froslass was practically flying all over the alley. In the meantime, Mew launched the poison attack and, using Psychic, launched Swalot into a Skarmory that wasn't expecting it. Suddenly, hail started to fall, and Skarmory struck down on the Ice-Red type as it did.

The men had to act quickly when they saw their Pokémon were being cornered.
"Hit Froslass with a flash cannon!"
"You circle with Poison Gas, discover it!"
Yet it was useless. The strikes kept failing horribly as Froslass' evasion grew as a result of Hail, then again as a result of Double Team, and once more as a result of its constant usage of Phantom Force to make it appear and then reappear throughout realities. The figure moved as if to hack something. "Blizzard."
They each launched a Blizzard from one of Froslass' clones at once, completely freezing the unfortunate Pokémon in the middle, who were severely knocked unconscious. The men frantically retrieved their Pokémon before carefully reversing course, fearing that their quiet assailant would confirm their worst suspicions. "Psychic, mew,"
The two men were thrown against the wall and forcibly held there by Psychic the next thing they knew. He moved up close to the two men, whispering cruelly as Misty watched in utter admiration. "People like you are the ones who poison this world. You filth of the earth, you who live off the helpless. You won't be shown clemency after being found guilty and sentenced to prison. You won't get away with crimes in Kanto, so be aware of it. You will eventually be eliminated since we will always be able to locate you. Take this as a parting favour." Mew and Froslass both had blue eyes that lit up as he snapped his fingers. As the Pokémon held their ground against the two as the guys screamed in anguish, the figure assisted Misty in standing up.
"Red, I thank you." She quietly mumbled. When the figure spoke, his voice almost completely lost its hardness. Officer Jenny exhaled with relief as she dashed into the alley. "Wow, I'm relieved that both of you are ok. Are you okay, Misty?"
She squinted in bewilderment: how could the police already know? "Thank you, I'm OK!" Jenny turned to face the stranger and nodded in agreement.
"Did they cause you any problem, Red?"
"In fact, quite a bit."
Misty was grateful that Ash had come to save her as they continued their conversation. Even if Ash had not arrived, her Golduck would have saved her, but she was still appreciative of him.
She had a fairly audacious thought, and after much deliberation in her head, she decided to act on it. Red turned to Misty as he finished talking to Jenny, who was now leading the two crying criminals to her police car under the supervision of a few other cops. "I-" W hen Misty put her lips on his, he was unable to finish his sentence. Red stood still as the attractive, no, stunning female gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.
Ash's mind as a whole was in complete astonishment. His favourite flavour, the taste of strawberries, was slightly reminiscent of her lips. The kiss was strong but oh so beautiful despite how gentle and tender they were. The instant a hot girl kissed him, Ash felt himself slipping away as he struggled to make sense of what the heck was going on. His mind was always racing with ideas of what to do next. ' Oh, my God!" Holy cow! She is making out with me, she is, she is! I don't know what the hell I'm meant to do.' His intellect spoke from the sensible side. 'Kiss her again, you moron.'
Thus, he responded by pressing back. She moaned in approval as he gripped Misty's rear and drew her into his powerful arms. But she pushed his neck down to intensify the kiss because she was determined to keep it going. He gripped her flawless butt in one hand and placed his other palm on the back of her head in order to intensify their kiss and elicit yet another pleasant sigh of contentment. Misty muttered gently as they finally parted ways.
"I've been considering doing that for a long." Ash grinned subtly. "Now there are two of us, Misty." She chuckled and said softly. "My hero..."
As soon as Ash cracked a small smile, she was again pressing her mouth on his. He grabbed her backside with both hands as he felt her warm bum fill his palms. They had finally found each other, and even though Ash hadn't yet disclosed himself, he didn't care as they continued to kiss.
Misty was now his, just as he had wanted her to be.
While their lips were still in contact, he softly laughed and ended the kiss. He spoke softly. "Want to assist me in some way?"
She made a small smile. "Exactly what is that?"
He grinned. "It simply has to do with the fact that you are my partner."
"What did you want to do now?"
Ash beaming joyfully. "Oh… I have a couple concepts."
Ash's Elite Box…
Erika expressed concern. "They are vanished for all time! I hope they're all right."
Sabrina gave her a perplexed look. " They haven't actually been gone that long, do you suppose, right?" Paul dripped sweat. " The only reason Sabrina thinks that is because she became engrossed in watching Cilan and Tyson scrub the floor while she lost track of time.
It was real. Tyson had attracted her attention because, after all, it was him who had eliminated her from the Kanto competition. She had to be curious about the Pokémon he was using, right? He was, in fact, employing two of his most well-known Pokémon: Talonflame, which used Brave Bird to ruthlessly dispatch Cilan's Pansage in just two moves. Talonflame defeated his Stunfisk as well after overcoming type disadvantage with a combination of Will-o-Wisp, Roost, and a second Brave Bird to defeat it. However, Static had incapacitated Talonflame on contact, and Tyson switched to his deadly Despite being the favourite to win, Tyson's first Pokémon was no match for Cilan's Crustle.
She mumbled while pouting a little. " I simply want to prevent more defeat by him."
Koga said out loud, a little irritated. "Hey, I get it, but tone it down. Here, I'm trying to concentrate!" Without realising who was engaged in combat, the other three elites simply stared at one another. Paul let out a loud moan as he looked down. He groused. "You need to stop hankering for her, Koga! Red will kill you!"
Erika scowled as she observed Malva engaged in battle with an unknown trainer on the battlefield below. As if it were the last thing he would ever see, Koga was fixated on her posterior. He received a forehead slap from her as she complained. Koga: "I have to agree with Paul."
He said it out loud. "The only explanation you can give for your agreement with him is that you two have been meeting late at night." Paul suddenly turned his head to look incredulously at Koga. Erika had lost all of the pigment in her normally flawlessly light skin. Sabrina lifted an eyebrow as she regarded the attractive man. "Are you, Koga, genuinely serious?"
He calmly motioned to a dumbfounded Paul and an extremely uncomfortable Erika, who squeaked, all the while keeping his eyes on Malva. " I do not, I do not!" "You two are getting into it, so don't attempt to deny." She continued, despite his dismissive hand motion. "No! I mean, I agree with P-Paul because he is correct, not because I'm shagging him!"
Koga chuckled. "I appreciate you confirming it." She groaned in irritation as she came to terms with the fact that he had duped her before bowing her head in defeat. All of a sudden...
"Hello, guys!" Ash was standing in the doorway grinning widely as the elites all turned to look at him. Paul gestured. "How are things going, captain?" He waved his hand a little while laughing. "I overheard that talk you two just had and it's the same old same old." Paul's face lost all of its hue. What did you do? Ash laughed. "I'm sorry, I did." Before Ash started laughing and Ash started crying, Paul hung his head. Paul coughed. "What the heck is so funny?"
Ash chuckled. "You guys definitely need to try to be quieter! I was previously aware of it!" Paul darkened even further, as if that were possible. Erika actually resembled a freshly picked tomato because of how red her face was. Ash secretly grinned, knowing that now was the perfect opportunity to use his trump card to receive a round of applause from his fellow elites.
He turned around to see if anyone was drinking. He appeared to have hit a home run when Koga was seated next to him with a glass of water, and his eyes lit up with playful glee. It was time to pull a quick one on the gullible elites.
"Hello, Koga!" He welcomed his eminent. For what seemed to be the first time in what felt like a very long time, the man looked away from the battle and said. "Hey Red, sit down and watch the fight!" Ash observed that the timing was ideal.
Koga went back to the battleground after taking a very huge drink of water and was getting ready to guzzle it all down. It was now or never, he was aware. Ash spoke out loud. "What a crazy day it has been, man! I'm not sure what surprised me more—telling you that Misty is my partner or learning that Damien will be my opponent in the second round."
The responses were irreplaceable. "WHAT!" Sabrina had yelled at the top of her lungs. To check if Ash was telling the truth, Paul and Erika's heads had virtually twisted on a swivel. However, Koga was a card. On the other side of the balcony, he spat out his water all over, spritzing the fans below with a tiny bit of saliva. When Misty entered the room, Ash grinned.
She talked and identified herself. "Hi! I'm Misty. I'm glad to have met you all."
Ash's thoughts turned to his upcoming battle with Damien as Misty started speaking to the awestruck elites. He almost felt horrible for Damien, who wasn't aware of the awful disaster that was going to completely and utterly sweep him away, as he giggled softly. Damien's haughty and conceited face appeared on Ash's pokedex, and he grinned as he saw it.
'Let's see if he's still the same smug bastard from all those years ago when I'm done with him,' he thought. He had menacing thoughts. He was going to have so much fun in the upcoming round. Oh, the enjoyment he would feel.
Meanwhile...
Trip, Georgia, Stephan, Alder, Drew, Harley, Tyson, Morrison, Katie, Kelly, and Wallace were waiting to watch the match that would soon take place between Red and Damien while sitting on the seats close to each other that they bought as a group.
Trip disliked Damien as he found him to be abusive to Pokemons like Iris and he did not support that. Trip then said "I wish that Red would win the match as he seems to be good to his Pokemons unlike Damien who is a Pokemon abuser."
Alder heard what Trip said and then replied "So Damien is a Pokemon abuser? I would then want him to lose as we have had enough of trainers who are rude to Pokemons like Iris winning and we want someone good to Pokemons to ultimately win.
Tyson heard what Alder said and then said "Trainers like Iris and Damien are scum of the earth. I also had the displeasure of meeting Damien who was abusive to the Pokemons I defeated when I battled him and managed to win. I support Red to win against Damien."
Morrison nodded and said "Based on what I know now, Damien is a bad trainer as he is abusive to Pokemons. We have seen Red being good with his Pokemons so obviously I will root for Red in this match. I say for others also to root for Red!"
Wallace then nodded and said "My support is for Red to win the match and to prove to Damien that being kind to Pokemons is the way a Pokemon can get stronger and abusing them is not the way a Pokemon can get stronger. We all need to cheer for Red!"
Stephan got to know about Damien from listening to Trip and Tyson and said "It will be Red who will win this match! Being kinder to a Pokemon will make them more stronger than being abusive to a Pokemon as Pokemons will do more for someone who cares for them rather than someone who is abusive."
Georgia then said "It looks like Damien is a much of a foolish trainer like Iris. Even if we did not win against Iris till now, we know that she will lose one day to someone who treats their Pokemons well. So Damien's day of losing is today where Red's Pokemon treated by love will be stronger than Damien's Pokemon treated by abuse."
Kelly then said "The last time I met May, she was abusive to her Pokemons that lost against my Pokemons. She was still the on who won the match but she proved to be scum and I will make sure to be better Coordinator than May. Damien is also a scum like May and he would lose to Red."
Drew then said "I also had met Damien once and I won against him. He was very abusive to his Pokemon in front of me. I do not know how abusive he is to Pokemons when others do not watch him. So I want Red to defeat Damien to show love is better than abuse. I am sure that Red is the one who will win."
Kelly said on listening to what others said "I also think Red is the one who will win. Loving Pokemons and treating them with respect will make them much stronger than abusing Pokemons and treating them with disrespect. We all need to cheer for Red to win to show our support."
Harley then said "Damien is a trash trainer like May. He will definitely lose to Red as treating Pokemons with love and care will make them stronger than treating Pokemons with abuse and disregard for their needs that is love and care. Red is going to win the match against Damien."
