Last Chapter…
The girl was standing there as he left the room in the direction Koga had gone. Her blonde hair was without a doubt what made her stand out. When she saw the boy wearing the red vest, she tightened up. But she opted to disregard that and stumbled a little in her speech. "Uh oh, Mr. Red?"
"Yes?"
She said after clearing her throat. "Please allow me to speak with you alone, Mr. Red. It will be time well spent, I guarantee it."
Ash said with a chilly expression. " I'll believe you on that." He gave her a little moment before motioning for her to accompany him into a different corridor that led to his battle suite. It was a straightforward, tangible passage. About halfway through, he paused and remarked. "Well? It is what?"
She took a moment to think before quietly handing him a document. Ash started browsing the files and images there and eventually came upon a single image that he was familiar with. James had taken the exact identical image from Lillie's perspective. James' camera could be seen sticking out in the centre of the image if you looked very closely.
Ash had to act confused even though he knew what she was doing." What precisely am I observing?"
Lillie's confidence returned as she spoke. "I-I wanted to have an informational exchange. That knowledge relates to my pals; they have plans to ruin this competition for themselves by sabotaging you and other competitors. They merely want to seize whatever they want and profit from this competition. In order for you to counter them, I've also provided all of their Pokémon as well as the ones they employ the most."
Ash threw the file away. " As useful as this is to me, what's the catch? I know you didn't just bring it here for free."
She paused before speaking softly. "I... I need your assistance locating a murder."
She didn't know Ash already knew what she was talking about, but he wasn't as dim as he had been the first time he had met Misty. "I see; proceed."
So she acted. She detailed all Misty had told him regarding the terrible death of a youngster named Ash Ketchum at the hands of an erupting volcano. She then went into great detail about how she had been present when it had occurred and how she had seen Ash fall to his death while she was among the traitors. She also explained how her mother being kidnapped had forced her into doing it, allowing him to be certain that he was hearing the whole truth. Lillie knew her mother wouldn't think Ash's old pals would do such a horrible thing, even though Lillie's mother didn't know who her captors were.
Ash made a noise. You want me to look into this death and see if there is any evidence linking it to the day the volcano erupted, if my assumption is correct?
Lillie mused. "Yes… I am aware that the incident occurred more than six years ago, but I would appreciate it if you could provide me with some evidence—any evidence—to show that the people responsible for the Kanto Champion's death are currently competing in this tournament."
For some reason, Ash was curious about her level of tolerance. "What did you say to him, exactly?"
She started to sob gently, but after a brief pause, she repeated what she had spoken to him more than five years earlier. "When did you ever pull me from difficulty. You are so annoying with your mannerisms, Mr. Kanto Champion who is close to death!"
By this point, Ash was aware that it was agonisingly true: Lillie was actually on his side. She wasn't a traitor; rather, she was a friend. She would not, however, be the first to recognise him for what he really was. He wasn't able to divulge that much just yet. He thought for a moment and then spoke softly. "I see, so you're seeking revenge on people who put you in that situation."
Slowly nodding, she kept sniffing. "Y-Yes… Yes… If you were to assist me, I would be forever grateful to you..." Ash carefully considered what he would say. "Very good. I will support you in your endeavour since we in Kanto believe in the administration of justice, but please understand that I cannot convict anyone unless I have concrete evidence that Ash Ketchum was murdered and not tragically killed by a natural source. Miss Lillie, are you ready to own this?"
She nodded and said in a more cheery voice than she had intended. "Red, of course! Much appreciation for your assistance! How grateful I am right now is beyond words!" Red nodded, and a tiny smile started to form on his face. "I'll get in touch with you when I get more details. I have no idea when this will happen, but I'll stick to my word."
Lillie appeared to accept this and then turned to leave, saying her goodbyes. Ash then scratched his temples before returning to his seat, his head in complete disarray. He had to decide how he would handle this. Had Lillie been coerced into turning on him? All of his resentment for her had vanished in an instant, but now he was faced with other problems: establishing the veracity of the traitors and, of course, of her as well. Ash had to go along with Lillie's story until he could confirm it because there was no proof—at least not tangible proof—that it was entirely accurate.
She turned to leave but was startled to see two men standing there grinning. A man with a huge beard said while grinning. "Well, look at what we found right here."
Unconsciously moving back, Misty heard the other say with a sneer on his face. "It appears to be our lucky day... Having a Champion, let alone such a lovely young lady, to ourselves, my my... I'm eager to put my hands inside your pants." Misty recognised the expression in his eyes as he rambled on. She was going to be his treasure because he was lustful.
Before she could grab a pokeball from her waist, she felt a body press up against her and realised it was the man with the beard. He gave a nasty grin. Sorry Miss, but no one is coming to assist you at this time. The two men were going to abduct her, and she was helpless to stop them. When Golduck eventually emerged from the Pokeball, Misty was overjoyed to see him. The males were terrified when they saw Golduck since they knew Misty was a champion and they realised they had chosen the wrong kind of woman, despite how stunning she was.
She noticed a figure in the alleyway behind them and recognised it as Ash. They both stopped trying to grope the beauty, so they must have observed her horror since they both turned to face the figure shrouded in darkness. Misty was thrown against a wall by the man with the beard as the other person yelled." Who the hell are you to be following us around like that?" Not even realising the irony in his own words, he wordlessly flung up a pokeball to reveal a Swalot, and his buddy yelled, "Let's go, Skarmory!"
The guy silently threw two Pokémon into the air as the steel type took the field. They manifested as the legendary pink cat Mew and the ethereal ice-Red type Froslass. The two assailants shouted their orders.
"Use the Sludge Bomb, Swalot!"
"Skarmory, use a Drill Peck on them!"
The person eventually spoke as the two attacks soared towards the Pokémon it was holding. Misty would recall the man's coldness; he sounded more than angry; in fact, it was almost as if he wanted to kill her assailants.
"Mew, To move Sludge Bomb, use Psychic. Use hail, Froslass, to evade Drill Peck." The Sludge Bomb and Mew's eyes both glowed in blue. It was set aside after that and nailed to a neighbouring wall. Hail was about to start falling when Froslass raised its arms, but Skarmory quickly struck down the Ice-Red type.
It was Froslass until it discovered that it wasn't. The man with the beard sputtered. "W-w-wha… What happened just now? How do I find it?" Misty knew exactly what had happened, but the two men weren't at all sure. This man was aware of Froslass' Snow Cloak ability, which allowed it to evade the majority of strikes during a hailstorm. She felt immediately safer in the presence of this stranger who had come to her help because it was obvious that these two men were just brutes looking to dive into a gorgeous girl's pants.
The other head-shook. "I'm not sure, but it makes no difference! This individual is still getting the boot from us! Triple Sludge Bomb on that cat, Swalot!" The other cried out after regaining his control. "As soon as you see it, use Flash Cannon on Froslass. " "Froslass, use Double Team into Phantom Force to avoid. Mew, sneak behind the sludge bomb and cast Psychic on Swalot before throwing it towards Skarmory."
Two special attacks were about to combine when a variety of events transpired. Froslass vanished once more, this time accompanied by Phantom Force. It quickly started using Double Team and paired it with Phantom Force and its ability, giving the guys the impression that Froslass was practically flying all over the alley. In the meantime, Mew launched the poison attack and, using Psychic, launched Swalot into a Skarmory that wasn't expecting it. Suddenly, hail started to fall, and Skarmory struck down on the Ice-Red type as it did.

The men had to act quickly when they saw their Pokémon were being cornered.
"Hit Froslass with a flash cannon!"
"You circle with Poison Gas, discover it!"
Yet it was useless. The strikes kept failing horribly as Froslass' evasion grew as a result of Hail, then again as a result of Double Team, and once more as a result of its constant usage of Phantom Force to make it appear and then reappear throughout realities. The figure moved as if to hack something. "Blizzard."
They each launched a Blizzard from one of Froslass' clones at once, completely freezing the unfortunate Pokémon in the middle, who were severely knocked unconscious. The men frantically retrieved their Pokémon before carefully reversing course, fearing that their quiet assailant would confirm their worst suspicions. "Psychic, mew,"
The two men were thrown against the wall and forcibly held there by Psychic the next thing they knew. He moved up close to the two men, whispering cruelly as Misty watched in utter admiration. "People like you are the ones who poison this world. You filth of the earth, you who live off the helpless. You won't be shown clemency after being found guilty and sentenced to prison. You won't get away with crimes in Kanto, so be aware of it. You will eventually be eliminated since we will always be able to locate you. Take this as a parting favour." Mew and Froslass both had blue eyes that lit up as he snapped his fingers. As the Pokémon held their ground against the two as the guys screamed in anguish, the figure assisted Misty in standing up.
"Did they cause you any problem, Red?"
"In fact, quite a bit."
Misty was grateful that Ash had come to save her as they continued their conversation. Even if Ash had not arrived, her Golduck would have saved her, but she was still appreciative of him.
She had a fairly audacious thought, and after much deliberation in her head, she decided to act on it. Red turned to Misty as he finished talking to Jenny, who was now leading the two crying criminals to her police car under the supervision of a few other cops. "I-" W hen Misty put her lips on his, he was unable to finish his sentence. Red stood still as the attractive, no, stunning female gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.
Ash's mind as a whole was in complete astonishment. His favourite flavour, the taste of strawberries, was slightly reminiscent of her lips. The kiss was strong but oh so beautiful despite how gentle and tender they were. The instant a hot girl kissed him, Ash felt himself slipping away as he struggled to make sense of what the heck was going on. His mind was always racing with ideas of what to do next. ' Oh, my God!" Holy cow! She is making out with me, she is, she is! I don't know what the hell I'm meant to do.' His intellect spoke from the sensible side. 'Kiss her again, you moron.'
Thus, he responded by pressing back. She moaned in approval as he gripped Misty's rear and drew her into his powerful arms. But she pushed his neck down to intensify the kiss because she was determined to keep it going. He gripped her flawless butt in one hand and placed his other palm on the back of her head in order to intensify their kiss and elicit yet another pleasant sigh of contentment. Misty muttered gently as they finally parted ways.
"I've been considering doing that for a long." Ash grinned subtly. "Now there are two of us, Misty." She chuckled and said softly. "My hero..."
As soon as Ash cracked a small smile, she was again pressing her mouth on his. He grabbed her backside with both hands as he felt her warm bum fill his palms. They had finally found each other, and even though Ash hadn't yet disclosed himself, he didn't care as they continued to kiss.
Misty was now his, just as he had wanted her to be.
While their lips were still in contact, he softly laughed and ended the kiss. He spoke softly. "Want to assist me in some way?"
She made a small smile. "Exactly what is that?"
He grinned. "It simply has to do with the fact that you are my partner."
"What did you want to do now?"
Ash beaming joyfully. "Oh… I have a couple concepts."
He said it out loud. "The only explanation you can give for your agreement with him is that you two have been meeting late at night." Paul suddenly turned his head to look incredulously at Koga. Erika had lost all of the pigment in her normally flawlessly light skin. Sabrina lifted an eyebrow as she regarded the attractive man. "Are you, Koga, genuinely serious?"
He calmly motioned to a dumbfounded Paul and an extremely uncomfortable Erika, who squeaked, all the while keeping his eyes on Malva. " I do not, I do not!" "You two are getting into it, so don't attempt to deny." She continued, despite his dismissive hand motion. "No! I mean, I agree with P-Paul because he is correct, not because I'm shagging him!"
Koga chuckled. "I appreciate you confirming it." She groaned in irritation as she came to terms with the fact that he had duped her before bowing her head in defeat. All of a sudden...
"Hello, guys!" Ash was standing in the doorway grinning widely as the elites all turned to look at him. Paul gestured. "How are things going, captain?" He waved his hand a little while laughing. "I overheard that talk you two just had and it's the same old same old." Paul's face lost all of its hue. What did you do? Ash laughed. "I'm sorry, I did." Before Ash started laughing and Ash started crying, Paul hung his head. Paul coughed. "What the heck is so funny?"
Ash chuckled. "You guys definitely need to try to be quieter! I was previously aware of it!" Paul darkened even further, as if that were possible. Erika actually resembled a freshly picked tomato because of how red her face was. Ash secretly grinned, knowing that now was the perfect opportunity to use his trump card to receive a round of applause from his fellow elites.
He turned around to see if anyone was drinking. He appeared to have hit a home run when Koga was seated next to him with a glass of water, and his eyes lit up with playful glee. It was time to pull a quick one on the gullible elites.
"Hello, Koga!" He welcomed his eminent. For what seemed to be the first time in what felt like a very long time, the man looked away from the battle and said. "Hey Red, sit down and watch the fight!" Ash observed that the timing was ideal.
Koga went back to the battleground after taking a very huge drink of water and was getting ready to guzzle it all down. It was now or never, he was aware. Ash spoke out loud. "What a crazy day it has been, man! I'm not sure what surprised me more—telling you that Misty is my partner or learning that Damien will be my opponent in the second round."
The responses were irreplaceable. "WHAT!" Sabrina had yelled at the top of her lungs. To check if Ash was telling the truth, Paul and Erika's heads had virtually twisted on a swivel. However, Koga was a card. On the other side of the balcony, he spat out his water all over, spritzing the fans below with a tiny bit of saliva. When Misty entered the room, Ash grinned.
She talked and identified herself. "Hi! I'm Misty. I'm glad to have met you all."
Ash's thoughts turned to his upcoming battle with Damien as Misty started speaking to the awestruck elites. He almost felt horrible for Damien, who wasn't aware of the awful disaster that was going to completely and utterly sweep him away, as he giggled softly. Damien's haughty and conceited face appeared on Ash's pokedex, and he grinned as he saw it.
'Let's see if he's still the same smug bastard from all those years ago when I'm done with him,' he thought. He had menacing thoughts. He was going to have so much fun in the upcoming round. Oh, the enjoyment he would feel.
Trip, Georgia, Stephan, Alder, Drew, Harley, Tyson, Morrison, Katie, Kelly, and Wallace were waiting to watch the match that would soon take place between Red and Damien while sitting on the seats close to each other that they bought as a group.
Trip disliked Damien as he found him to be abusive to Pokemons like Iris and he did not support that. Trip then said "I wish that Red would win the match as he seems to be good to his Pokemons unlike Damien who is a Pokemon abuser."
Alder heard what Trip said and then replied "So Damien is a Pokemon abuser? I would then want him to lose as we have had enough of trainers who are rude to Pokemons like Iris winning and we want someone good to Pokemons to ultimately win.
Tyson heard what Alder said and then said "Trainers like Iris and Damien are scum of the earth. I also had the displeasure of meeting Damien who was abusive to the Pokemons I defeated when I battled him and managed to win. I support Red to win against Damien."
Morrison nodded and said "Based on what I know now, Damien is a bad trainer as he is abusive to Pokemons. We have seen Red being good with his Pokemons so obviously I will root for Red in this match. I say for others also to root for Red!"
Wallace then nodded and said "My support is for Red to win the match and to prove to Damien that being kind to Pokemons is the way a Pokemon can get stronger and abusing them is not the way a Pokemon can get stronger. We all need to cheer for Red!"
Stephan got to know about Damien from listening to Trip and Tyson and said "It will be Red who will win this match! Being kinder to a Pokemon will make them more stronger than being abusive to a Pokemon as Pokemons will do more for someone who cares for them rather than someone who is abusive."
Georgia then said "It looks like Damien is a much of a foolish trainer like Iris. Even if we did not win against Iris till now, we know that she will lose one day to someone who treats their Pokemons well. So Damien's day of losing is today where Red's Pokemon treated by love will be stronger than Damien's Pokemon treated by abuse."
Kelly then said "The last time I met May, she was abusive to her Pokemons that lost against my Pokemons. She was still the on who won the match but she proved to be scum and I will make sure to be better Coordinator than May. Damien is also a scum like May and he would lose to Red."
Drew then said "I also had met Damien once and I won against him. He was very abusive to his Pokemon in front of me. I do not know how abusive he is to Pokemons when others do not watch him. So I want Red to defeat Damien to show love is better than abuse. I am sure that Red is the one who will win."
Kelly said on listening to what others said "I also think Red is the one who will win. Loving Pokemons and treating them with respect will make them much stronger than abusing Pokemons and treating them with disrespect. We all need to cheer for Red to win to show our support."
Harley then said "Damien is a trash trainer like May. He will definitely lose to Red as treating Pokemons with love and care will make them stronger than treating Pokemons with abuse and disregard for their needs that is love and care. Red is going to win the match against Damien."
Present…
When Misty recognised that these individuals were Kanto's elites and that they were closely bonded, she also understood that choosing them as the Elite of Kanto was a wise decision. She began by speaking with the boy in the group with the dark hair. She was shocked to find out how amazingly friendly he was. He treated her kindly and they had pleasant conversations about almost anything. This caught her off guard; she had a real expectation that he would push her away or do something similar, but it turned out that nothing of the sort occurred. Instead, he welcomed her and identified himself as Paul, a member of the dark type elite. He chuckled and responded as she talked to him about Red's personality. "He definitely has a unique personality. Fair enough, he never stops mentioning you. If you ask me, he is crazy for you." Misty grinned, realising it was the case.
She then struck up a conversation with Erika, a fairly lovely dark-haired woman who likewise made it clear she meant Misty no harm at all. She rapidly discovered that Erika was less connected to Paul than she was to Red. She also discovered that Paul and Erika were dating and that their relationship had only recently started. She recounted how Red had taken them both in as elites, but she knew Paul from years before as one of her closer friends, and Misty knew that she and Ash share a link since the beginning of Ash's journey since she was concerned as to why Paul was less connected to her than Red was. Misty was perplexed since she thought the top 4 competitors in the competition should be the region's elites, and the victor would choose the final participant as an elite. Erika shook her head and stated that the winner could choose anyone as long as they participated in the competition and won at least two battles. She added that Red wanted to learn more about everyone and determine who would get along with whom. The Kanto Elite Four came together as a result.
The person she spoke with after that was unusual, to put it mildly. He was wearing a white dress shirt with black dress slacks and a black suit jacket. Compared to Red, who was more of the ruggedly handsome type of cute, he had really gorgeous brown hair that was curly. This dude had a more playboy-like air about him. When he introduced himself as "Koga the Player," she knew she was right. He spoke to her in a flirtatious manner, but after a while of teasing and tormenting her, Erika interjected and advised her to ignore him entirely because he constantly did that. Koga chuckled and acknowledged. "Yes, and if anyone ever finds out that I was hitting on Misty Red, they'll serve me with a silver platter bearing my head." Misty mocked him in return while grinning. "Oh? What if I then say something?" Koga paled and begged as he realised what he had just done. "N-no! I-I was only joking! I promise!" Misty simply giggled and left the discussion there.
The last member of the group, however, felt differently about her: he was angry and hostile. The girl's name was Sabrina, and she specialised in psychic abilities. Misty took some time to find out why this girl was acting so nasty toward her, which was strange. Even though she was aware that she had never met this girl before, she was openly angry with her, acting as though Misty had somehow wounded her. She quickly formed an opinion of her and became terrified that she and Ash's other pals would turn on him. The Kanto Elite Four members have spent less time with Ash, so Misty replied that she might also be suspicious that they might betray him. However, she conceded that there was no justification for her anger.
Misty was prepared to support Red in his upcoming contest against Damien, a Trainer. Misty was aware of Damien's reasons for disliking Ash, including the fact that Ash and Charmander later formed a friendship and Ash captured Charmander, who is now Ash's Charizard. Charizard was sadly no longer with 's second round matchup was set to start down on the battlefield. The trainer with blue hair was positioned across from Ash. Our protagonist was also giving Damien a chilly stare. The umpire held up his flag in the air. "Damien of Vermillion City and Red, the Kanto Champion, are facing off in this battle. The combat will end when all three Pokémon on one side are unable to continue, with three Pokémon on each side. In addition, until one Pokémon faints, no Pokémon trades are permitted between battles!"
'I have to believe that he has evolved and that his days of leaving Pokémon behind and injuring them are behind him. but once an asshole...' he had an inside thought.
Damien stated while laughing haughtily. "This will be a stroll in the park!"
'Always an Asshole.' He came to a full stop in his thinking.
At that point, Ash made the decision to drastically boost Damien's self-confidence. Ash could not imagine the strategy failing, barring a very specific battle. It was a foolproof one. It was time to carry out the thoroughly thought-out plan he had spent time developing. He shouted across the battlefield, and a large number of people heard him.
"Damien!"
Damien returned the call. "Red!"
Ash scowled a little but continued playing. " You think you're strong, and I know that—" Damien interrupted him and yelled fiercely. "You claim that I'm not? Red, I'll make you regret those remarks." Damien anticipated the champion to back off like most people would, so when Red sneered and stated, he was more than a little taken aback. "Yes, I am suggesting that you lack strength. In fact, I believe that this won't be at that challenging."
Damien snorted. " Oh, right. then prove it!"
Damien anticipated that Red would again reject his challenge and tremble in fear. He was once more taken aback by Red's assurance. "I will." Damien turned to see as Red pointed to his unusually empty Pokémon belt. Damien was genuinely perplexed. "Um… no?" Red nodded. "Exactly."
He stated quietly while removing his hand from his belt. "…Exactly."
In the excitement of the moment, the stadium had grown quiet, and Red was the centre of attention for everyone in the KBS. Naturally, Damien was the one to break the hush with a loud, almost irritating laugh. "Well, what? You're giving up? I am not to fault!
At this, Ash truly started to laugh. As he recovered from his laughing fit, everyone observed him with interest. He laughed as he started to talk. "No No… You don't get me at all. I'm not giving up, but today I'm demonstrating that you are a disgrace as a trainer." Damien snorted. " What does that mean, exactly?" Ash chuckled. " I only meant to bring up your history of mistreating Pokémon." People in the stadium had started speaking in whispers. She eventually caught Damien mumbling something.
Damien's anxious sweating had given Ash enormous pleasure. The man finally responded after a few seconds, although it seemed to have a broken tone. "Oh, right? Where is the evidence for that?"
Ash genuinely laughed once more and added in a nearly pitying tone. "Honestly, Damien? Really? I'm a region's Champion. I'm come to accuse you of mistreating your Pokémon. You honestly believe I wouldn't do that in the absence of proof?"
Damien grew pale. For him, this was not looking good. He doesn't understand how Red knew this, but something seems strange. If Red was aware of this, why did he not simply arrest him before the fight and secure a win? He was capable of anything. So why did Red seem determined to fight him?
"I perceive your perplexity." Ash spoke out loud. In fact, uncertainty could be seen in Damien's eyes as he turned to face the champion after being startled out of his trance. Red clarified. "I figured with a person like you, when I went to arrest you, you'd just say the reason I had you arrested at that particular time was because I knew I couldn't defeat you in battle and had to resort to utilising my resources to win, or anything of the such."
Damien grumbled. " You cannot defeat me, damn it." To his shame, he halted when he realised he had just demonstrated Red's point. Red laughed before saying. "Mr. Dark, I have a suggestion for you. Of course, I'm sure you'll be willing to accept it." One single pokeball was taken out by Ash. "My only Pokémon at the moment is this one right here. You can only confront this particular Pokémon today. I want to make you a bargain."
Damien said with an eyebrow lifted. "Okay…"
Ash chuckled. "Damien, you have two options today. The police should first and foremost arrest you for repeatedly abusing, hurting, and injuring Pokémon. You will stand trial, almost certainly be found guilty, and almost certainly spend the most of the rest of your life behind bars. You will no longer be in charge of your Pokémon, and your trainer's licence will be permanently suspended." Damien grew much paler and muttered. "And alternative no. 2 would be..."
Ash grinned more broadly. He was aware that Damien couldn't refuse this offer. "I only have one Pokémon, however you can use all three of them against me. If you can use three of your Pokémon—yes, three—to defeat my single Pokémon, then... While you are still in Kanto, I shall drop all charges against you. You would be secure because none of the other champions had any sort of authority over this area. However, if you fail, you must be prepared to follow any instructions we provide while interrogating you, even if it involves employing a psychic Pokémon to view your prior memories. We'll be able to clearly observe what you did if you do it this way."
Damien had stopped speaking. After some while, Ash said. "Do we have an agreement?" After a ten second gap, Damien laughed haughtily and declared. "I consent! This will be far too simple!"
"All right, Damien... True, you are."
Misty regarded Red with admiration. As Red moved to the referee and started speaking to him, she watched in astonishment as he ostensibly informed him of the new regulations he had just created for their particular battle. They started talking right there on the field of combat since the referee appeared to be interested in learning more.
Red was quite grave. He actually intended to engage this man in a three-on-one fight! Misty was sure Red would triumph!
Ash then saw Damien release Charizard, Ash had memories of Charizard and wondered if this was the same Charizard. Damien then said "This is a very strong Pokemon that I bought! It trains by itself which shows how amazing Charizard is. Ash saw that Charizard had a sombre expression as he knew that if he lost, he would be disposed of and that Red was a powerful trainer.
As he gradually increased the size of the one pokeball he was carrying, Ash had a slight grin on his face. He casually stated while tossing it into the air. "I require your help!" The Pokémon appeared there on the battlefield and let out a powerful roar that rocked everyone in the area. Everyone noticed the Pokemon was Shiny Haxorus. Charizard noticed that Red was Ash due to his voice and smiled at Ash. Ash said "Fight as well as possible. I would also do the same." Damien then said "I will fight and win!" Charizard however wanted to fight for Ash's sake.
Damien ordered "Dragon Pulse, Charizard!" and Ash said "Haxorus, use Rock Slide!" Haxorus then made rocks to fall while Charizard used Dragon Pulse. The rocks hit Charizard and Charizard lost health and Haxorus was fast enough to mostly dodge the Dragon Pulse attack but was struck a bit by the Dragon Pulse attack and lost health. Ash then said "Damien, your Charizard once belonged to Ash." and Damien was surprised to hear that. Damien then said in shock "I had no idea that Ash was able to train a Pokemon so well! I will win!" and Ash smirked on hearing that.
Damien said "Charizard, Mega Evolve!" and Charizard became Mega Charizard X and flew. Ash then said "Dragon Tail!" and Haxorus jumped high and then hit Charizard by its tail pushing Charizard back. Emboar was then released and Ash thought about his Pignite. Ash said "Excellent, Haxorus!" Emboar smiled at Ash and then Ash recognised that Damien had his Pignite which had evolved. Ash then said "Show all your power!"
Damien then said "Flamethrower!" and Ash then said "Surf!" and both the attacks were hitting each other and then the Flamethrower pushed against Surf and hit Haxorus and Haxorus lost health due to the attack. Ash then said "Dragon Tail!" and Haxorus rushed against the Flamethrower and went and hit Emboar with Dragon Tail which went back to the Pokeball.
Torterra came out and Ash then said "You have done well, Haxorus!" and Torterra smiled at Ash and Ash said "Fight with all you have got!" and Damien then said "Yes, you will see the full extent of my power! Giga Drain!" and Ash said "Dragon Pulse!" and both Pokemons were hit by the attacks and were losing health despite Giga Drain increasing health of Torterra due to Dragon Pulse making Torterra to lose more health than gained by Giga Drain.
Damien continued to look at the match and Ash knew that he needed his single Pokemon to defeat three of his former Pokemons who were such that they continued to train by themselves even after his supposed death. Ash still believed that he and his Haxorus can win.
Ash then said "Dragon Tail and Dragon Pulse!" and then Haxorus rushed to Torterra and hit Torterra with Dragon Tail and Torterra was pushed to the Pokeball and then Charizard came out. Haxorus used Dragon Pulse and Damien said "Dragon Pulse!" and both Charizard and Haxorus used Dragon Pulse.
Both the attacks hit each other and Ash smirked as Haxorus' Dragon Pulse pushed against Charizard's Dragon Pulse and hit Charizard and Charizard was losing health. Ash knew he was good in training Pokemons rapidly to be very strong lik when he made a newly hatched Riolu to be so strong in such a short time that it was able to defeat two of Cynthia's Pokemons. Ash then wondered how Lucario was.
As for Charizard, he was impressed that Ash was so much of a better trainer than Damien that Haxorus was more powerful than it. Damien shouted "Evade!" and Charizard was trying to fly away from being hit by Dragon Pulse and was still hit by Dragon Pulse and was losing health.
Damien knew better than showing his tension with his Pokemons openly and said "Fly close to Haxorus and use Dragon Pulse!" and Charizard flew to approach Haxorus and Haxorus and Haxorus was jumping to avoid the attack and both Pokemons were using Dragon Pulse at each other but Haxorus was better at avoiding Dragon Pulse attack than Charizard and Charizard continued to lose health rapidly than Haxorus.
Damien shouted "You were the former Alolan Champion's Pokemon and you were the Pokemon of a trainer who did well in the Masters 8! You can do it! Dragon Pulse!" and Ash was laughing that Damien was using his victories to encourage Charizard and Damien then said "I expect Charizard to battle well as it was owned by a legendary trainer." to which Red replied, "Yes, Ash was legendary unlike you who drag down a Pokemon's potential."
Charizard flew rapidly and then used a powerful Dragon Pulse at Haxorus and Haxorus lost healrth due to the attack and Ash gritted his teeth. Ash then said "Show more of our power! Use a more powerful Dragon Pulse." and Haxorus then used a more powerful Dragon Pulse and Charizard found the power to be too much and lost health rapidly.
Damien then returned Charizard to the Pokeball and then released Emboar. Damien then said said "Sunny Day!" and Emboar used Sunny Day and the sunlight became harsher. Damien then returned Emboar to the Pokeball and then released Charizard and said "Fire Blast!"
Charizard used a powerful Flamethrower that was powered by the harsh sunlight and then Ash said to Haxorus "Evade!" and Haxorus was evading the attack most of the time and was being hit by the attack a few times and Haxorus lost health while Charizard was being hit by Dragon Pulse sometimes and was losing health.
Damien then said "Fly close to Haxorus and use Flamethrower!" and then Charizard flew rapidly very close to Haxorus and used Flamethrower and Haxorus was hit by the attack and was losing health. Ash then said "Surf!" and Haxorus made a powerful wave that mostly evaporated due to the heat.
Damien laughed "I am so much stronger than you! Trainers like you are not even fit for training Pokemons and must listen to trainers like me on the proper way to train a Pokemon. Everyone, just see what happened to Surf! It just evaporated which shows that my Pokemons attacks were stronger than Red's Pokemons attacks as my Pokemons were trained better than Red's Pokemons." Red was just quiet for some time and Damien continued to laugh.
Meanwhile...
The traitors were sitting together in seats close to each other to watch the match. Iris looked at the match and said "This match will be won by Damien. I am impressed by Damien and I would provide him security if he comes to Unova. Damien knows the correct method of training Pokemons and I also use that method."
May nodded and said "Yes, Damien's methods of training Pokemons are correct and the right way. We cannot coddle a Pokemon a lot as they would lose matches and so Pokemons should be shown tough love for them to be stronger."
Clemont put his arm around May's waist and said "I also believe that Damien would win the match. Red is basically a loser with his method of training Pokemons. Damien uses the real method of training Pokemons to reach their full potential."
Brock nodded on hearing them all and then Brock said "You all are right to support Damien. I used to think that Damien's methods were wrong but now I know, his methods are the correct methods for training Pokemons."
Dawn listened to what others said and said "Damien is just a winner as his methods are the ones which will deliver results from Pokemons. I am very impressed by how Damien battled. I used to think such methods are wrong but now I know, they are the only correct methods of training Pokemons!"
Serena nodded and said while smiling "I also train like Damien to make my Pokemons stronger. My Pokemon are amazing in Pokemon Showcases and Contest Spectaculars due to the current method which I use to train my Pokemons to use cool moves."
Cilan then said "I also use methods similar to Damien's methods to train my Pokemons and so they are so much stronger using those methods. I am sure Damien will win as he uses the winner method to train Pokemons that is tough love and not like Red who uses the loser method that is coddling a Pokemon."
Max then looked at the match and smirked "Damien is a true Pokemon trainer as he is the one who uses the correct method of training Pokemons which is tough love. Tough love is not abuse. Red is a bad example of a Pokemon trainer as he coddles a Pokemon too much and considers that to be love."
Bonnie then said while smiling "You are absolutely right, Max. Damien is giving the proper treatment to a Pokemon which is tough love and Red gives the wrong treatment to Pokemons which is coddling. It is obvious to us all that Damien is the one who would win this match as he uses the right training method."
Goh said on watching the match "I am impressed by Damien. He has done a spectacular performance in the battle. This is because he uses the right training method to make his Pokemons stronger unlike Red who uses the wrong training method. I am sure that Damien is the one who will win the match."
Chloe then said "You are right, Goh, my love. Damien is the one who will win this match as just like what you said, he uses the right training method which is tough love to train his Pokemons to be stronger unlike Ash who uses coddling to train his Pokemons. That is why Damien will win."
Lillie, the Alolan Champion, looked at the group who were supporting Damien and whispered to her Elite Four members, Mallow, Sophocles, Kiawe, and Lana "Are these supposed to be the ones we all are supposed to listen to? I recommend you all to never support them and only give outward support to them. We all will support Red."
Mallow nodded to what Lillie said and whispered "Red is in fact a good person. I use a powering device and he made me to walk off mostly scot free. He saw that I cared for my Pokemon and so that he is why he let me go scot free for using a powering device. We all must support Red against Damien."
Lana then whispered "We need to secretly help Red in whatever ways possible against the traitors. The only reason we are traitors is because Lillie's mother was kidnapped and so we were forced to betray Ash and Misty. This is how we can honor them properly as we cannot ask for forgiveness from them."
Sophocles then said on hearing that "Yes, we have done a wrong thing by demoralizing Ash and Misty before they were killed and we need to do whatever possible to atone for what we have done. As for the match, we need to support Red against Damien as Damien seems to be abusive to his Pokemons."
Kiawe said on hearing the rest of the Elite Four and Champion statements "You are right. Ash is not an Alolan but still he respected the region and so he could have been the champion of Alola. We all need to support Red as Damien is someone who is bad to his Pokemons."
Trip, Georgia, Stephan, Alder, Drew, Harley, Tyson, Morrison, Katie, Kelly, and Wallace were watching the match and they saw Damien laughing while Red was silent despite Damien laughing at him.
Trip then said "Damien is too overconfident. He is just laughing for something that could be a part of the plan to make him too confident and then make his team to lose. I am sure that Red is the one who will win as he is kind and caring to his Pokemons unlike Damien who is abusive to his Pokemons."
Georgia said on listening to Trip "I also think that Red is the one who will win. Red is still confident that his team will win. Red probably had his Pokemon use Surf to make Damien to be overconfident before he defeats Damien. We should all support Red by cheering.
Alder then said "Damien is likely losing as he seems to have made mistakes while battling and also Pokemons are stronger while treated by love and care compared to being treated by abuse. Damien treats his Pokemons with abuse unlike Red who treats his Pokemons with love and care."
Drew said on listening to what others were saying about Damien and Red "Damien is like May, too overconfident in their Pokemons. May has not lost till now but she would lose one day. As for Damien, today will be the day he loses and he would lose to Red."
Wallace then said "This is a common strategy, make a trainer overconfident nd then proceed to defeat them due to their overconfidence. Red has made Damien to be very overconfident and he would soon defeat Damien and then actions will be taken against Damien for what he has done."
Stephan said to the group "Wallace, you are right. Damien was never going to win the match as he treated his Pokemons with abuse while Red treated his Pokemons with love and care and love and care would make his Pokemons to be much stronger than treating Pokemons with abuse."
Tyson then said "Red will be the one who will win for the reasons I heard, love and care will make a Pokemon stronger then abusing a Pokemon. Now Damien is also overconfident and overconfident is likely to make a trainer to lose a match."
Morrison then said to all of them "Damien thinks he will win just because water evaporated due to the heat of fire? This could have been done just to make Damien to be overconfident before Red manages to defeat Damien."
Match...
Red said "It is simple, Sunny Day weakens the power of water type moves and the attack was used very close to Surf making a lot of water to evaporate. That does not mean the result of the match is decided. Move rapidly away and use a powerful Dragon Pulse!"
Haxorus rapidly moved away and then used a powerful Dragon Pulse and Charizard was hit by Dragon Pulse and lost health rapidly and then Cahrizard lost quite some health and then Charizard fainted. The sunlight then faded.
Damien returned Charizard to the Pokeball and then released Emboar and said "Emboar, use Fire Blast!" to which Ash said "Haxorus, use Surf!" and Emboar used a very powerful Fire Blast and Haxorus used a powerful wave and the attack hit the fire and the fire evaporated a lot of the water but a portion of the attack hit Emboar and Emboar lost health.
Damien then said "Sunny Day!" and Emboar used Sunny Day and the sunlight became harsher and Damien then said "Fire Blast!" and the attack was more powerful and was able to push back against the wave more better but still a portion of the powerful wave hit Emboar and Emboar lost health due to the attack.
Damien looked at Red smirking and scowled and said "Emboar, Solar Beam!" and Emboar used Solar Beam on Haxorus who surprised and was struck by the attack and lost health. Ash then saw he needed to complete the match before Haxorus lost more health and Ash said "Use a very powerful Surf!"
Haxorus used a more powerful Surf attack and the wave was very powerful and pushed back against the Solar Beam and Damien said "Hyper Beam!" and the attack struck Haxorus and Haxorus lost health but it was too late and Emboar had to reacharge and the Surf hit Emboar and Emboar lost quite some health and then fainted.
Damien then said "Torterra, go!" and Damien released Torterra and said "Rock Climb!" and Torterra climbed up to very high height and Damien then said "Energy Ball!" and the attack struck Haxorus and Haxorus lost health and then Ash said "Use Surf to destroy the hill Torterra is on!"
Haxorus used Surf and destroyed the hill and then Torterra came down and Ash said "Dragon Pulse!" and Torterra was struck by the attack while it was falling and wa losing health due to being struck by the attack and Torterra finally reached the ground and then stood on the ground.
Damien shouted "Wood Hammer!" and Torterra made a green energy hammer slam on Haxorus and Haxorus lost health due to the attack and Ash said "Use Dragon Pulse to destroy the hammer!" and Haxorus used Dragon Pulse and destroying the energy hammer whenever it was made.
Ash then said "Final attack, Dragon Pulse!" and Haxorus charged and used a very powerful Dragon Pulse on Torterra and Torterra was hit by the attack and then there was an explosion caused by the attack. There was dust created which did not show who fainted.
The entire audience broke out in roars and applause as soon as the enormous explosion subsided. Damien collapsed to his knees in disbelief as Ash smirked in silence, knowing that his plan had been a complete success. Misty revelled at Damien's defeat.
"Red, the Champion of Kanto, is therefore the winner of this round in the Koraidon Bracket and the one moving on to the next round!" Over the uproar of the audience, the referee yelled. Red was the competitor to beat in this event, there was no doubting it anymore. His Haxorus had completely destroyed all of Damien's and had scarcely suffered any damage.
Damien was still in utter shock. He was out. He had not only lost, but he had lost severely. He secretly cursed Red while listening to the audience repeatedly yell his name. He wondered what Red was going to do as he watched him go slowly to the centre of his half of the field.
"For those who have passed on... and for those who will follow."
Haxorus mumbled his approval before they both got to their feet. Then, as he was doing so, police rushed onto the field. Ash was aware that they were there to apprehend one Damien. Damien was struggling against the officer's will and he grinned as he pursued him. A secret hallway was where Ash knew they were waiting for support to bring Damien in for questioning as he grinned and followed them there.
Red talked to Officer Jenny in a formal manner as two cops, including Officer Jenny, were handcuffing Damien to a nearby pole. "If it's good with you, officer, may I have a quiet conversation with Mr. Dark before you take him away?" Jenny saluted while nodding. "Red, of course! Take your time, and then I'll take him away once you're finished." Damien was looking away from Red and elsewhere when Ash nodded and walked over to him. Mew was at Ash's left and was to his right. Paul does have a little bit of an arm, isn't that right? He managed to get Mew's pokeball all the way down without breaking it, which is a miracle.
Ash whispered softly to Mew. You are aware of procedure; please wait for my que.
Then he addressed Damien. "Do you understand our agreement, Mr. Damien? To incur the harshest punishment for your crimes against the world, you must now collaborate fully." Before finally managing to speak, Damien went a time without saying anything. "… Do all of you champs act like asses? Considering the vibe I'm receiving..."
The majority of champions would quickly strike back, but Ash had another strategy. Red's punch had personally given Damien hope that he would get out of jail by alleging that Red had assaulted him. However, Red just laughed at the blue-haired man in front of him, much to his shock and mild dread. He still won't look into his eyes.
Red then pushed Damien to gaze directly into his eyes by placing two fingers under his chin. Damien resisted back in terror. Then Ash executed his most evil manoeuvre; he sneered at Damien and watched for the response. About five seconds later, Damien finally looked him in the eyes. His breath caught in awe as he was overcome with recollections. It brought back memories of the time he had foolishly left Charmander on the rock.
He witnessed time speeding faster while being trained into a Charizard by the trainer known as Ash Ketchum. He then witnessed a complete timeline of its development in strength and ability over the years, and as he watched it defeat opponent after opponent for Ash. Why was Red showing him this, he wondered? Even better, how did he demonstrate this to him?
Then, after one frame, the lapse halted. Standing there was a man with a mask over his face and a red vest. Damien recognised the man, and his eyes widened.
Red.
Mew had glowing blue eyes. Mew bombarded Damien with numerous sights and vivid visions, which caused Damien to start screaming and finally go completely insane. Ash took Damien by the collar and muttered something terrible.
"A small amount of discomfort you can experience in recompense for all the anguish you caused others... Damien, never forget us. You will be plagued by those recollections every day until you make the decision to turn into a devoted, upright, trustworthy, and diligent trainer. You will eventually cease screaming when it happens. Enjoy hell while you can since that's where you'll be for a while." He then delivered a stunning right hook to Damien's face, knocking him down cold.
Ash walked away while smirking and shouting. " He is all yours." Then, with his hands still in his pockets and a sneer on his face, he turned and walked away. He anticipated round three with the hope that the opponent would be someone he knew but didn't despise. His face flashed a warm smile.
He sensed the presence of someone enter somewhere nearby as he turned the corner and got ready to go to the box. When he turned to his left, he was startled to see a familiar face staring back at him with what appeared to be something in his eyes. Reluctance? He couldn't put his finger on it, but he was aware that something was amiss if this guy was speaking to him.
He couldn't put his finger on it, but he was aware that something was amiss if this guy was speaking to him. Tyson, what is it?
Before speaking, Tyson bit his lip and briefly covered his dark blue eyes. "Red," I wanted to apologise.
Ash arched his brow. "For?"
He repeated his low words. "I believe we started off wrong," He suspiciously out his hand, and Ash shook it. "My name is Tyson, and I'm a Hoenn native." He instantly started laughing and briefly giggled awkwardly. In my head, this sounded far better than it does now. Shaking his head, Ash. I'm still perplexed; why are you even speaking to me, exactly? Tyson spoke hurriedly when his eyes expanded once more. "Yes, of course! I'm terribly sorry!"
He then adopted a little sombre expression as he awaited Red's reply to the next assertion.
"I need your assistance."
