Chapter 4-The snake sisters

Our secret will be known

Las Vegas, Nevada

Ten minutes ago

Thick rust-colored curtains hid the midday sun showing no signs of the bizarre struggle the night before. A plush maroon carpet remained unsoiled. Its only blemishing a modest hill of light gray and white dust. The fatal encounter left no telltale hint of the death struggle that took place, or the one that will soon occur.

Waiting in silence, the tall slim figure remained motionless. Dressed in black, he cast not a shadow. Breathing shallow and controlled, ears twitching to any sound the clean-shaven man disappeared in the remaining darkness of the Las Vegas hotel room. Spiked jet-black hair highlighted his obscure silhouette.

Hearing the keycard activate the door lock, he squatted down set to pounce on the expected visitor. A gust of foul air touched the nape of his neck.

"Ahh." The muffled sound showing his surprise at this turn of events. He floated off the ground dragged upward by two massive hands on each side of his throat.

"I am not as stupid as my companion. You hide as a mouse waiting to condemn an Immortal." The unconnected cord for a link to cyber-space now dug deep into the wiggling form of the struggling man in black. It rode up his Adam's Apple ending under a contorted chin. A thrashing head of spiked black hair shook as he thrashed about fighting for each breath. He dug a thumb deep into his own throat hoping to dislodge the tightening wire.

"Fahai, a wolf is brighter and more adaptable than the ignorant fox." The broad- shouldered man's eyes possessed the same-sloped lids as his prey, though his hands began to change shape. Fingers combined and began to shrink into paws.

"Monk! What enchantment is this?" Thrusting the resisting dark outline to the wall the attacker felt blotches of fur spring out of his face. He asked again. "Faihai, you devil of a holy man." The assaulting bull of a man began to shake with uncontrolled fury. "What magic is this? Accursed monk!"

Still struggling against the pressure of the wire, Fahai brought long legs to his chest, a thumping heart rang through his skin. Shooting both feet to the wall, the gasping man exploded himself and the assailant to the opposite end of the room. The sidewall scarred by the impression of the attacker's back.

Separating himself from the embrace of death, Fahai leaped to a somersault backward over the Queen size bed. Rapid breaths filled the room, as he stood erect. Recovered from the unexpected attack, he reached for the wooden necklace hanging from the pocket of his black collared shirt.

"I, will…kill…" Still dazed from the collision with the wall, the burly man pushed himself to a standing position. A powerful looking chest began to shrink in size. Looking at his full-formed paws, "no. No. Never!"

The howling scream preceded his ripping off the charcoal gray three-piece suit. Nails turned to claws, slicing the vest and white shirt from the growing fur moving up his stomach. Reaching back with extended claws, he ripped the jacket from his body.

"You have gone too far, evil demon of a wolf." Recuperated from the near-death experience, the man reached into his black jeans. Holding the silver emulate with the figure of Buddha he raised the Tulasi wood beads. Closing his eyes the chanting began in a low tone. His repetition of the words stunned the altering shape, freezing it before him.

"Talk to me, monk." Prostrate on the thick rug, remnants of human legs kicked the gray suit pants into the air. Fighting to prevent the black and white haired muzzle from engulfing the once human face, the one-time figure of a man begged for mercy.

"Please, we only wanted…" A low volume siren whine dripped from the growing teeth. Drool trickled down from the shaping canine mouth in a column to the once spotless rug.

"You only wanted to be human?" The now unveiled monk walked over the squirming animal. The conversion to his true form completed. "As men you were criminals, robbing those with paper of value." During the violent tussle, several thousand dollars lay strewn in a corner of the room. "You looked to impregnate innocent women in hopes of spreading your blasphemy." He walked over the panting and twitching body of the wolf.

"Monk," lifting his head to the holy man. "You are naïve. How many innocent females do you think live in," a hoarse cough sent a ball of fur bursting from his throat. "I think," big black eyes glinted the afternoon sun, as he watched the man in black open the thick curtain. "Innocence is not plentiful in this human city."

Bending down, the monk saw his reflection in the flickering light still visible in the wolf's eyes. He stood up and repeated his mantra. Moving back from the now lifeless body, he brought the pendant of Buddha up over his head, fingering the beads as he continued. In a moment or two, there would be another, larger pile of dust on the thick maroon rug.

On the other side of the world, two floating clouds, one white the other green began to dissipate.

"Sister Lu, we must not dally. Only enough time to refresh our pores." The serious tone from Bai unafraid to speak her sibling's correct name became wasted on her mischievous Mei Mei.

'Weee!" Diving from the emerald mist , Xiaoting zoomed from the area around Tianyou Peak and lunged with the now elongating body toward the body of water known as Nine Bends.

"Lu! You use too much energy. It will upset the Chi of the universe." The accurate statement meant nothing to the transforming woman. Breaking the surface of the water, a long torso and longer legs stretched further until her form rounded on all sides. A whipping jade-colored tail cracked the serene façade of Jinqu Stream.

"I am no longer that name." The younger sister cried out to the stars above. "I am Xiaoqing, a human woman. I will have a man of my own." Spinning her body with the speed of a bullet leaving a gun barrel, she rose onto the surface. "A man of my own. To love me. To impregnate me. To break my heart, as only human men can."

Bai floated free of the pale vapor that once encompassed her body. Both women wore a delicate gauze-like material. Seeing the green tinted covering floating to earth on a mild wind, Bai shook her shoulder, just enough for her pure white cloth to slip past her breasts and hips until it too glided toward the lush fauna populating this twisting, serpentine waterway.

Sporting a matching smile to the submerging green serpent still possessing the facial characteristics of a woman, Bai streaked at first upward, her nude form sparkling as the moon's light took on the energy of a neon globe.

"I need to feel its fingers." Bai remarked looking at the calm surface. A hint of sadness drew her lips together. Two sniffles over the pouting lips freed the truth from her soul. "No man's touch will ever thrill me so." She knew her place in the universe and accepted it. As hard as she tried, she could not cry. That honor belonged to real women.

Vibrating the shapely figure, Bai ran her hands through the long strands of hair one could mistake for black silk. Spread legs followed heaving breasts. Bai waited till the first of her skin began its metamorphosis. As scales replaced soft, milk colored tissue, the elder of the pair joined her hands together and united with her sister in play.

The sound one would hear from slicing thin parchment with a sharp blade, the only effect from the white snake's entrance into the water. The mischievous younger sibling would not allow this tranquil moment to continue.

"Jie Jie!" Yelled till it echoed through the mountain range called Wuyi. A massive green tail smacked the black surface as it reflected the midnight sky. Again, Xiaoqing called. "My Jie Jie, you wish a human man to dive into you as such." She ended her words with a gigantic splash.

"Mei Mei?" Surprised at such dangerous action from her sister. "You break the face of the moon as it looks upon two unfortunate waifs of nature." Bai referred to the splintering of the silver sphere's likeness on the calm mountain stream.

"Let us pretend we are cuddled by a man's touch, his hands feeling and stroking any part of us he can fondle." As the younger sister spoke, green eyes shined turning the moon's rays into a stream of emerald light. The odd-shaped rocks of the shoreline took on the appearance of giant heads. The divots that show in many of the multi-pointed sharp jagged boulders peered at the frolicking duo as if eyes of men leering at the splendor of their female form.

"Impish child, you must stop this behavior. It raises the temperature around us." Bai rushed to her sister. "In the shop when you think such sensual thoughts," shaking the oblivious creature. "The humid days of summer push the waves of magic to the ground." Bai recoiled from the changing face of Xiaoqing. Bright-colored green scales grew on her cheeks.

"Please, my sweet child. My love is not enough for you?" A solemn tone traveled from the lips of the white snake.

"Bai, I see in your human eyes the emptiness of your heart." The two jade stones that were her pupils split in half. Seeing this her older sister kept silent.

"My sweet Bai. No love could replace yours for me. A man?" Her serpent form now whole she whispered. "They sweat and smell. They soil the most beautiful of women." As the younger sister continued, Bai's complexion took on the harsh feel of a reptile. "I have seen them make what they call love. They travel with a foolish girl to the woods. They act so sweet and caring. As a young serpent, I would lay motionless in the grass to view the uncoordinated gyrations of their plunging hips."

As Bai prolonged her fight to keep some vestige of her human form, the two giant snakes curled around the other, extending their bodies to the sky.

The murmuring of Xiaoqing would not end. "As soon as they fulfill their need to empty in a woman, the cads bellow like an elephant stuck in the mud. I chuckle at their stupid expression." Her head shook trying to control the laughter, "and final thrust of their rump." A high-pitched chuckle from the green snake sent Black-faced Spoonbills wading at the sixth bend of the twisting stream into the air.

"I know what you mean sister. They lose interest once their seed is gone." Bai said as her human face sat on the scaled neck. White coarse skin crawled up her cheeks.

"Lose interest?" Snapped Xiaoqing. "When they finish, they leave the poor female and go off as if she never existed." The green snake now held her sister over the peaceful setting below. The two serpents rose above the picturesque mountain range and hovered over a low-level cloud that joined their tour of this charming area of Fujian.

"My sweet Mei Mei, maybe that is why so many women cook?" Bai's eyes, nose and mouth still resisted the inevitable change.

"Right!" Answered the precocious of the two. "At least they will stay a little while for a free meal."

As the entwined figures floated over the fertile mountain range the older sister tried to conceal her trepidations. It did not fool the younger and at times wiser of the two.

"My Bai, give into our nature. I am tired of looking at your half snake half spinster human face." With that, she grabbed Bai tighter and took her in a nosedive into the stream. "Close your eyes and imagine the liquid we enter as an ocean of a man's hot-steaming fluid after exploding filling the beautiful snake sisters until…" Other words followed as the two colossal reptiles spread the surface of Nine Bend Stream as one biblical figure a half-a-world away did so many thousands of years ago. The explosive splash drenched the flora shoreline and smacked the voyeur rock collection as one would a man peaking at a woman's nude body.

"Oh, sweet Jie Jie. I intend to feel a man and his disgusting smelly self on top of me soon. Or why did we endure so much pain for this transformation?" Rolling on the shore, the two serpentine figures shed their skin revealing the softness of the female form.

Bai bit her lower lip before answering. "I feel for you, sweet sister. But this display or others like it will bring us misfortune and maybe even," a slight wiggle freed her lower half from the prison of the scaled skin.

"Bai, please stop. Your worried face brings my spirit down."

"Should a monk find us? It might be something worse than an eternity as snakes."

"There is nothing as worse as slithering till the end of time. Death would be a blessing." Replied Xiaoqing, as she sat up. Pushing her hands upward she separated dripping breasts. Her pink nipples stood erect. She fondled them with stretched palms.

"We were lucky at Hangzhou." Bai added.

"Lucky?" Snorted Xiaoqing. "That lusting holy man's stupidity could have killed the children." The memory of the young monk's shyness brought a sparkle to her green eyes, as a wiggling tongue tasted the air.

"Oh, my sweet Mei Mei. You are so innocent. You speak as a harlot, but I know you are pure."

"Oh really?" The younger sister's body slithered after her question. A sly smile exposed her pearl white teeth.

Bai's answer, "I have never experienced love." Her head drooped putting the delicate chin to her chest.

"Enough of this senseless whining, Bai. Pure, am I?" Xiaoqing stood up, drops of water shot from her body. "It is natural to use your powers to enslave a man. When I am of age." Her petite feet sunk into the mud. Dark liquid slid between her toes. "If they do not want this body?" She jumped in the air landing with her legs spread. Even with the dim light as a cloud covered the moon, her nude shape impressed her sister.

"My sweet, little child. You are beautiful. You do not need any spell for love."

"Well I tell you now, big sister. If I find a good man and he will not have the will to open me?"

Bai turned from the declaration. She could not look at her Mei Mei as the young woman pointed toward her vagina.

"I will create a potion that will make him my willing slave." Jade colored eyes split as she spoke. "Yes, he will follow me as a pup in need of nourishment. Taking a moment to inhale. "And that thing between his legs will be my little pet." Again, her laugh filled the valley.

Bai's worried expression concerned more than Xiaoqing's expectations for the future. "I fear, should this display of magic continue." She looked up into the annoyed expression of her little sister. "Our secret will be known."

The two walked to an area behind a monstrous rock. Clothes befitting women of the twenty-first century hidden till their need. The trip back to their shop outside Zhenghe County, in the Northern part of Fujian would not take long. After mid-night, the roads and trails passing the many tea farms and other agricultural enclaves are bare of pedestrians. Tonight, would be no different. No one will notice the white and green streaks of light speeding to the North.

Their secret safe, for the time being.
