Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or its characters; that right belongs to Rumiko Takahashi. Nor do I own Final Fantasy (any of the titles); that right belongs to the game developers, artists, storyboard writers, and Sony/Square soft!

Author's Notes: I am stating this now; here is who Kagome will not be paired with. President Shinra, Hojo, Angeal, Genesis Rhapsody, Cloud Strife, Veld, Vincent Valentine, anyone on the ShinRa Board of Directors, Shippo, or Sesshomaru (I mean Fucking really, he is in another world!)... As of right now, those are the only ones I am able to list. And still, I need to think of the end pairing. So if you do not like that, I politely ask you to turn around and leave now because I don't see the point in wasting your time and mine.

Month 7, Week 2, Day 6

"CRACK"

"SMACK"

"BOOM"

Several sets of eyes watched the fight in the S.O.L.D.I.E.R First Class training room. It'd taken a bit of pushing, but the three Generals were (supposed) to take turns with Kagome. Hojo was amused.

After the Mako incident with Zack Fair, his son expressed an interest in fighting Kagome. However, both he and Jenova had been threatened by said woman. Being reminded, she was capable of separating them on a molecular level. That he still felt pain no less. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

"Indeed. While she is fascinating, she is a threat we will address after we learn more."

Smiling at Jenova's angry hiss, Hojo watched as Genesis and Angeal jumped back. SEphiroth was delivering quick strikes at Kagome. Who was struggling to block, dodge, and retaliate?

Glancing to the side, he saw Hollander, President Shinra, Lady Shinra (now seven months pregnant), Vincent, and Tseng. Hojo had heard through his informants Vincent was looking for Lucrecia. It irked him that Vincent was looking for his wife. Hojo knew exactly where she and her half of Jenova were.

"Fuck!"

The sharp yell from Genesis had Hojo focusing again. And he gave a dark smile as he watched his son jump back, left arm hanging limp at his side. Kagome had used a pressure point. However, it was only temporary debilitation to Sephiroth. He couldn't help the excitement bubbling up. How would his son, his most perfect experiment, adopt?

He felt a rush as his arm hung numbly at his side. The strike had been quick, decisive, and precise. And he felt the pain in the Brachial Plexus nerves.

Shifting his weight, Sephiroth pivoted at the hip bringing his leg up. The low growl that erupted from Kagome pleased him. He had the advantage of height, thus reach. So when she jumped back, Sephiroth dropped his leg and rushed her.

He knew he was enough to overpower her, even with one arm. She'd help up against him, Angeal, and Genesis. But exhaustion was evident on her face.

But he'd give Kagome the respect due. Angel wouldn't be talking after Kagomes hit his throat, or more precisely, his Adam's apple. Genesis had double-jabbed at the hips. His cry of pain as his knees buckled let Sephiroth know it had been his sciatic nerves triggered.

He was smiling at Kagome, who stared back, wary. Sephiroth was glad he'd studied up on pressure points. Twisting his body, using his left arm like a flail, he avoided her attempt to hit more of his pressure points.

He struck when she was near him, hitting just above her right shoulder blade for the supra-scapular nerve. The hiss of pain as he made her right side hurt was almost musical to him. Sephiroth looked at Kagome to note an odd silver glow in the depths of her blue eyes.

"I give!"

At her sudden shout, he felt disappointed. He could tell she wanted to continue.

"You didn't need this match. You are already well versed in human anatomy and Key pressure points, General Sephiroth."

He said nothing as he watched Kagome close her eyes, bow, and rise. When she opened her eyes, that silver glow was gone. The urge to ask rose, but he stayed quiet and lifted his chin in acknowledgment. Some instinct told him that glow had nothing to do with mako.

"Kagome!"

At the loud shout of her name, Kagome smiled brightly at Sephiroth and turned to face Reno. She felt him and Rude arrive near the end.

She laughed at the looks on their faces. Kagome ignored the president.

"Drinks later?

The sudden lack of tension pleased her. She was doing her best to pretend to be in pain. Her Horiki had already healed the damage caused by the pressure points.

"And Generals, if you'd like to join, it's my treat."

Her words received looks of disbelief before a low chuckle echoed.

"Does that include me?"

Whipping around, eyes wide, Kagome stared at Hojo. She could see he was serious. And Vincent next to him was smiling, red eyes asking if he could join. Laughing, Kagome nodded her head yes.

Genesis sipped at what Kagome called a slippery nipple. Enjoying the peach flavor liquor as it spread across his tongue. For a loss, it tasted good.

His eyes were trained on Hojo, Vincent, Tseng, and Kagome. The latter was being held by a tipsy Hojo and teased without mercy by the other two. Her loss penalty.

"Gen?"

Looking to his left, he saw Angeal and Seph. Genesis gave a slight nod of his head. Angel and he had seen an odd silver halo around Kagome seconds before Kagome gave up her match.

Then Seph had asked them if they noticed something off about Kagome.

"What, Seph?"

"Is there a reason you are looking at Kagome so intently?"

Genesis set his now empty shot glass on the counter. Shifting his gaze to Seph and Angeal, he slowly nodded his head.

"Think about this. We all saw that silver halo. And the changes amongst the ShinRa staff because of her," he said. "I'm curious as to who or what she is. Because I don't feel the madness as bad around her."

At his words, Genesis noticed how they became thoughtful.

While smiling, Genesis turned his gaze back only to laugh at Hojo dragging Kagome to the karaoke stage. While the stoic Vincent Valentine pushed her from behind. It only proved she had caused some change. One, he did not want to revert. IT also had him feeling possessive of her.
