Hi guys! We're back with another chapter for ya! This one's gonna be a fun one at least, for the first part. You'll see.
"The Keeper of Worlds" - Takumi fluff is awesome, huh? Glad you enjoyed it. We're gonna keep up the good times so I hope you enjoy it.
"JapanRules555" - Um, so when they're Digimon we use their Digimon names? Hmmm, makes sense I suppose but it might take a while for it to sink in for us. Thanks for the pointer though.
"DiaSphere" - It was a pretty fluffy chapter huh? We loved writing it too. Great to get a few good laughs in there. You'll get some of that in this chapter too ya know.
"BlueFlamedWolf" - Welcome back to the show my friend. Nice knowing you've enjoyed the passed few chapters. It's nice getting input like that. Hope you like this chapter too.
"Bolo42" - Thanks. Can't remember who came up with the idea but it was a lot of fun.
"Akrisakara" - THe fluffiness was pretty good huh? It's certainly a nice change of pace from the usual angst we do. There's a lot more stuff to come and we're just about to see what Takuya has in store for the wolf boy.
"Fanime-club" - Confronting his family... yeah, that might not be for a while still. Takuya's pretty reluctant about that. It might take some time before he's ready for that. Glad you enjoyed the chapter and hope you enjoy this one too.
"AngelGirlmon" - Well, too much of a good thing and what not, right? Don't worry, Takuya's still pretty good but it doesn't mean he won't have his down points. And with Flamon's name, we actually like Flamon better. Feels more natural. Hope you enjoy this chapter.
"Derpyness" - Actually, out of everyone Takuya is with, Tomoko's the only one who knows about the baby so, who knows how he's going to find out. Just gonna have to wait and see.
"Aiden Crossfire" - Wow, thanks. It's amazing how people could just pick this up. I'm glad you enjoyed the whole show so far. Means a lot to us both.
"DD Leader Dark Heart of Water" - The wrestling was a lot of fun, right? And yeah, Kouji's got a little bit of a girly side but hey, what can you do with hair like that, right? Glad you enjoyed the Takumi and hope you enjoy what we got here for you.
"Digidestinedkid6" - You really think so? Well, I guess really it's because FC and I sometimes put in stuff that sounds like our usual banter in there so I guess that's what makes it feel authentic. Glad you enjoyed it.
Okay guys, with that said and done, let's get to what you're here for, shall we?
Chapter 40: Times Like These.
Morning came and Takuya and Kouji were quick to wake up and get to work. Mrs. Minamoto had made sure the boys had a hearty breakfast before letting them go off to the practice field to help Kouji train in controlling his Digimon form.
Takuya was bouncing with joy, happy to finally be out to enjoy the day without worry or restraining himself. It felt like it had been forever since the last time he was outside.
"You seem awfully peppy today." Kouji mused.
The boy just nodded. "It's great to be outside again."
Kouji smiled as they arrived to the field. It had still been deserted. After all of the monster attacks, people were hesitant about returning to their daily lives. They were watchful and rarely left the safety of their households. Which served the duo fine since it allowed them to evolve without worry of being seen.
"Let's get to work then." Takuya stated with a bright light, evolved into Flamon.
The younger twin sighed and looked at Takuya, "Show off." He stifled a yawn and set to trying to evolve
"Come on Kouji," Takuya teased as his friend struggled to evolve.
"I'm trying!" Kouji grumbled, "I can't evolve on demand like you can."
Takuya stopped, sitting by Kouji's side, "Wait, really?"
"Yeah! I can't evolve when I want to. It just... happens..." Kouji mumbled, looking highly embarrassed.
"Wow, really?" Takuya looked at him, "That bites buddy... I think I can help you... Tell me what you're doing as you do it."
"Alright," Kouji inhaled and cleared his mind, "Well I focus on evolving and becoming Strabimon. I'm trying to make Lobomon's power come through."
Takuya nodded, watching as Kouji tried again at evolving.
The boy growled, his face scrunched up, as he couldn't make the power work for him. "I'm… trying to make it work… it just won't come to me!"
"Okay, you can stop now." Takuya told him, interrupting Kouji's attempt to evolve.
Kouji sighed, trying to vent out his frustration before giving Takuya his attention. "What's wrong with it? Why can't I evolve?"
"I think the problem is that you're trying too hard to force it." The fire Digimon tried at explaining. "You get frustrated and that makes it difficult for you to evolve properly."
"Why is it so easy for you then?" Kouji asked.
"I just let it happen. It just has to come natural to you. Which will be a lot easier if you just keep your cool and don't get frustrated it with." Takuya answered with a smile.
"I am keeping my cool!" Kouji snapped, crossing his arms.
Takuya laughed, "Yeah sure you are."
Kouji glared, "Oh shut up"
"Relax, It'll be fine,"
"So what do you do?" Kouji asked, looking irritated.
Takuya looked thoughtful, "I just... do it...? I don't know... I let happen..."
The longhaired boy had an incredulous look on his face as Takuya tried and failed in attempting his explanation. "Seriously? That couldn't be more unhelpful."
"It's hard to explain. Evolving is just a second nature to me." Takuya said, holding his hands up defensively. "There's really no other way to put it."
Kouji sighed in aggravation and took out his D-Tector, hoping that fiddling with it would help him better than Takuya's advice.
"What're you doing?" Takuya asked, looking over Kouji's shoulder.
"I'm trying to make it work. It's a better idea than trying to understand what you're saying." Kouji was quick to reply, paying no mind to the annoyed look on his friend's face as he started pressing buttons.
"That's not going to help you here." The fire Digimon muttered.
The boy snorted, "It's better than you useless advice!"
Takuya rolled his eyes and sat back, "Whatever buddy. I'll be here when you come to your senses." Takuya stretched and lay back in the warmth of the sun.
Kouji meanwhile pressed every button he could on his D-Tector getting no response what so ever. The screen remained dark and nothing happened. He growled in frustration, thinking about throwing the little device across the field.
"Are you done?" Takuya asked, not opening his eyes.
"what?"
The flame Digimon didn't move from his spot, "Are you done? It's like you're having an argument with a piece of plastic Kouji. You're not going to win."
"Oh yes I will..." Kouji muttered.
"That's not the point." He sat up and locked eyes with Kouji. "Look, I know this isn't your style but, stop thinking about it and just... do it. Just become Strabimon. No pressure, no thought, just... be."
Kouji raised an eyebrow, "That sounds completely idiotic."
"Maybe but its better than button mashing like an idiot." Takuya countered, noting that Kouji did look ridiculous just staring down at the device and randomly pressing buttons. "Seriously, it has to be like instinct."
Kouji growled weakly but sighed. Maybe Takuya was on to something. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try it his way. "So… I'm not supposed to think about it." Takuya nodded in response.
"Just let it happen…" Kouji muttered to himself and closed his eyes, trying to just let the evolution just happened.
"Don't try to force it. Just keep calm and let your Digimon form do its thing." Takuya spoke up, his voice soft as to not distract his friend and he concentrated on it.
Kouji took a deep breath and allowed his mind to go blank. He thought he could feel something. "I think… I think I feel it."
Takuya nodded. "Okay, just let it come to you."
The boy heard his friend's advice and did not think on forcing the energy to envelope him. He could feel it take root in him and slowly begin to envelope him. "I-it's working."
"There you go!" Takuya said with a grin, "see I told you!"
Kouji allowed the change to complete before retorting, "One time you were right. Why is this so different than before?"
The question made Takuya think, this was certainly different than just summoning the power of their respective Warriors at will. The human was in control then. Now, it was as though they had to surrender that control to allow for their instincts to take root.
"I have no idea..." Takuya said softly, still mulling it over, "but it's like we've become more Digimon than human."
"Interesting... I don't remember that from our time in the Digital World. It's like you can feel the world around us."
Takuya sat up, "I do... Right after I first became Flamon- after my plan against Duskmon failed and the others were taken prisoner. I remember being able to sense the rain before it fell- like I was automatically tuned into the world around me. That's when I learned about really being a Digimon- the sensation was so powerful..."
"So you're saying we're more Digimon than human now, and that we can predict the weather?" Kouji summed up semi-sarcastically.
"Sure when you say it like that it sounds stupid." Takuya huffed and crossed his arms.
Kouji rolled his eyes and surveyed the area around him. He didn't pay mind to it at first but after recalling their conversation from the other day Kouji noticed how much more clearly everything was to him. "It really is like HD."
Takuya nodded and also took in his surroundings. The smell of the fresh air, the feel of the breeze, the distant sounds of the city; it felt invigorating. "You really grow to love it."
"No kidding." The wolf Digimon responded. It was his first time really taking it all in.
The other Digimon smirked and his hand lit ablaze. Time to have some fun. "Hey Kou, think fast!"
"Huh?" Kouji yelped as the flame hit the ground near him. It wasn't intended to hurt him but it annoyed the wolf either way. He snarled and looked to Takuya who had gotten some distance. "Hey!"
"Come on Kou buddy. Catch me if you can!" Takuya taunted, purposefully using Kouji's despised nickname to egg him on.
The wolf growled, "I'm going to make you eat those words Kanbara!" He jumped after the laughing flame Digimon.
Takuya grinned and let the game of cat and mouse begin. They ran about the abandoned schoolyard, Takuya staying just out of Kouji's grasp. "You're too slow Kouji!"
"Kanbara!" Kouji snatched the boy's tail and brought the chase to a rough end. "You're going to regret that Takuya!"
"Yeah sure," The boy replied with a grin, "You need me too much to kill me."
The wolf growled in response and clenched tight on Takuya's tail making him yelp. "Who said anything about killing you? No, I'm just going to beat the crap out of you."
"Uh…" Takuya began to laugh nervously. He couldn't tell if his friend was serious or not but the look in Kouji's eye was absolutely terrifying. "E-easy Kou… I bruise easily."
That last bit did it. Kouji pounced down on Takuya, not giving him any opportunity to fight back. "You are going down Kanbara!"
"No! Please, have mercy!" Takuya pleaded, holding his hands out to push Kouji back and keep him from further attacking him. "Uncle, uncle! I surrender!"
"What the hell are you two going?" Kouichi asked, drawing the duo's attention to him as he approached them. He sighed. "Should have figured you two would kill each other if we leave you alone together."
Takuya smiled, "Help?"
Kouichi snorted, "No. One, I'm not a Digimon like you two imbeciles are, and two, you probably asked for it."
"How would you know?"
"I know you two. You both sit there and pick at each other until one of you snaps," Kouichi explained simply, taking a seat away from the brawling Digimon, "So don't let my being here interrupt you."
Takuya yelped as Kouji took this as the okay to continue their fight. Kouji struck at Takuya who tried to roll away. Kouji still had a firm grip on the boy's tail and dragged him back. "Not getting out of this one!"
"What are they doing?" Zoe asked, having just arrived and stood observing the battle.
Kouichi looked up, "Being stupid. I brought pastries for breakfast." He offered her a bag filled with assorted sweet bakery items.
The blonde smiled, "Well aren't you sweet." She sat beside the elder twin and took a pastry from him. "So how long have they been at this?"
"Since before I got here,"
"Typical of them..." Zoe said with an exasperated sigh, "But at least it's getting us closer to normal."
The older twin nodded with her and watched the brawl which turned more into a beat down as Takuya didn't stand much of a chance with Kouji now playing on the same field and having a firm grip of his tail.
"This seems rather one sided…" Zoe observed as Takuya pleaded for help.
Kouichi shrugged. "Well, just like old times I suppose."
"Guys! Help! Please!" Takuya tried crawling towards them but was kept in his spot by his tail. "This was a bad idea!"
The two bystanders sighed simultaneously. "Yup, just like old times."
It took the two Digimon a good few minutes to finally settle down with Kouji getting off a beaten Takuya with a content look on his face as he approached the duo. "He's all yours now." He told the blond as he reverted back to normal and sat by his brother's side.
Zoe rolled her eyes and walked over to Takuya's side, crouching down next to him. "How're you holding up?"
"I got the snot beat out of me by a wolf that can't take a joke." Takuya responded and glanced up at her. "Thanks for the help by the way."
She ignored the sarcasm and reached down and started petting the Digimon boy, bringing an end to his sour behavior.
"oooohhhh" a loud purr rose almost instantly, "That feels sooooo nice," Takuya murmured in a daze, going limp with happiness.
Kouji rolled his eyes, "You're embarrassing Takuya."
"Don't care, it's good," Takuya shot back with a smirk, "You're just jealous."
"As if."
Takuya sat up, leaning into the blonde's side, "How would you know?"
Kouji opened his mouth to retort, but couldn't find a response. "Whatever Kanbara"
"Aww I thought we were past that Kou!" Takuya teased, knowing he could safely push the elder boy's buttons if he stayed by Zoe.
"TAKUYA." Kouji growled.
"Are they fighting again?" Tommy's voice called as he and JP walked up.
Kouichi waved to the two and nodded. "Yup. Just like old times."
"This brings me back." JP joined the elder twin and sighed as if reliving memories from the past. "Man, it's good to have everything back to normal."
"As normal as it gets around here." Tommy corrected for his friend.
Takuya continued to hide behind Zoe, using her as a shield to keep the wolf away. He yelped when Zoe took a firm grip on his pointed ear. "Hey! Zoe, what're you doing?!"
"You need to settle down and stop riling Kouji up." Was Zoe's answer as she rolled her eyes at the boy's whining. "Behave and I'll go back to the ear rubbing."
The fire Digimon whimpered and nodded, consenting to defeat. Takuya sighed in relief when the blond released his ear and started to purr when she started to gently rub the ear again.
"Ridiculous…" Kouji muttered and leaned back in his spot.
"Takuya's really looking better," Tommy observed, watching the cute scene before them.
JP smiled, "He's come a long way since... well, ya know." He thought better than to bring the laboratory up in conversation, knowing it would send Takuya into his protective mode. He made that mistake back in the hospital.
He had been trying to make the point that Takuya wasn't as afraid of the doctors as they had expected, to praise the boy for being so brave despite everything. However, Takuya experienced a negative flashback, and curled up into a tight protective ball. He stopped talking for two days following that.
Kouichi noticed the guilt in JP voice and offered him a reassuring smile, "Hey, Takuya knows you didn't mean to upset him. You need to let it go."
"Huh? Oh yeah, Thanks Kouichi," JP replied softly, smiling back.
Tommy smiled too, "No harm done!"
"I just wish he wasn't so thin..." Kouji muttered mostly to himself, raising questioning glances from the other three. "You don't see it as much when he's Flamon, but when Takuya's human he's very underweight- like his ribs stick out pretty prominently."
"I noticed that too..." Tommy said softly, "Can't he gain the weight back?"
"It might take him a while to really put on some weight." Kouichi replied, looking deep in thought. It was difficult to figure out how severe Takuya's condition was. It was well enough that he could be dismissed from the hospital but even so Takuya looked fragile. "He needs to be able to feel more at ease and get rid of any stress or anxiety that's eating at him."
The others just nodded, finding Kouichi's reasoning to be sound.
"Well, I hope he gets better." Tommy stated. "He's been through enough as it is."
"Yeah…" JP agreed and turned to the younger twin. "How's he been doing at your place?"
"Well, he's been better but he's improving. He's back to his old self though, I can say that much." Kouji answered the elder boy's question. "If anything's bugging him it's the thing with his family."
"He still doesn't know what to do about that?" Tommy asked.
Kouji shook his head, "He's afraid, and he won't talk about it."
They all sighed knowing Takuya wasn't ready to pushed towards a solution. For now, Takuya looked content to be in the company of his friends and receiving affection from Zoe. He lay against the blonde's side, purring up a storm.
"Hey Zoe, think you can get Takuya to talk to us for a moment?" Kouichi asked, knowing it was a long shot to try and get the boy to open up.
Zoe smiled, stroking Takuya's mane gently. "Hey Taku... Wake up."
The boy yawned and looked up, "hmmm?"
"We just wanted to talk," Kouichi started.
Takuya tilted his head, "About what?"
Kouji crossed his arms, "Come on Takuya... We need to talk about you. How're you're doing- what's going on inside that thick head of yours."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"We're worried Takuya- You're not talking to us..." Tommy said softly.
JP nodded, "You just shut down Takky- you won't talk about what happened to you. We know it was bad, but you need to talk to us..."
Zoe sighed and nodded, "They're right Taku, we hate seeing you do this to yourself."
Takuya bit his lip, not sure what to say. He didn't mean to make his friends worry for him like this. It made the boy feel guilty for keeping them in the dark like this.
"We just want to be able to help you Takuya." Kouichi insisted, noting the upset look on Takuya's face.
"Guys… it was just… what happened while I was…" Takuya found it hard to say the right words, his memories of the lab weighing down hard on him. The cruel and humiliating experiments, the dangerous exercises, the poor living conditions; all of it was just too much for him at once. He tried to fight back the tears but to no avail.
Zoe wrapped her arms around the boy as he curled himself up protectively. "We're here for you Takuya; you don't have to bottle this up."
"Just talk to us…" Tommy continued, looking sadly at the poor boy.
Takuya held onto the blonde and took deep breaths to calm himself down. Maybe just telling them would help lift all the pressure he was feeling. "I-it was hell… It was hell, Tommy…"
The young boy nodded with everyone and remained silent as to not push Takuya too far.
"T-they…" Takuya struggled. "They treated me like a…. like some wild animal… they forced me to take these tests… shooting at me… with rubber bullets…" he whined, remembering the pain he felt when he was pelted with the bullets in rapid succession. "They hurt so bad…"
He took a moment trying to steady himself before continuing, "It was so cold too... like a freezer..." He shivered involuntarily.
"Shhh, It's okay Taku, take your time..." Zoe soothed, holding him closer.
"They... they..." Takuya swallowed hard, his mind flashing with the atrocities he was put through. The pain from the shock collar, the humiliation of the physical examines, killing the rabbit; He couldn't do this, not now. A soft sob escaped him as he went limp in Zoe's arms.
His friends hadn't expected Takuya to fall apart like this, and felt guilty for forcing this upon him.
"Easy now Taku, it's okay... We're here, you're safe..." Zoe whispered over and over, trying to calm the half Digimon in her arms.
Kouji moved to sit beside Takuya, trying to offer his best friend some sort of solace, "We're sorry Takuya... we... we had no idea..."
Takuya looked up at the younger twin, his voice cracked as he spoke. "n-no... t-thank you... f-for saving me..." he whispered shakily.
The elder boy nodded and smiled, "we're your friends Takuya- we'll never abandon you."
Everyone else nodded and murmured some form of agreement, knowing their leader had experienced torture that could make Lucemon seem kind and caring.
They let the topic drop for their friend's sake, allowing him to just calm down and rest in Zoe's embrace. It didn't take long for Takuya to fall asleep into a somewhat peaceful rest.
"Man… poor Takuya…" JP muttered to himself. He couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be beaten like that.
"Maybe forcing him to talk about it wasn't such a good idea…" Tommy stated, looking downcast, looking like he would shed tears himself after what he just saw.
Kouichi patted the youth on the back gently. "I was the one who insisted."
"What matters now is that Takuya's resting…" Zoe spoke up while stroking Takuya's mane in hopes of helping him rest peacefully.
"Those bastards… who the hell would hurt someone like this?" Kouji growled, feeling anger begin to flare up in him. He saw for himself how Takuya was forced to live and it sickened him. It was beyond cruel. "Sick, twisted…"
"Easy brother…" Kouichi interrupted, trying to calm Kouji down before he got too angry.
Kouji glared at his brother, pulling away, "You guys don't understand- I saw the place myself remember? The scientists- the lab... Takuya's cell..." the last part he whispered recalling the tiny cement room, "I know we don't have the whole story, but I saw enough in there to know Takuya suffered more than we can hope to imagine or comprehend..."
They fell silent, unable to respond to Kouji's statement. His words rang true; none of them had seen the facility or could begin to imagine a more hopeless place.
"He woke up in the middle of the night... several times last night... crying... It hurt to listen to- to see him suffering like this..." Kouji continued, his voice hushed, "That place... those- monsters... broke him more than we can see- I honestly think he's worse now since he got his human data back."
"What makes you say that?" JP asked quietly.
"It's... complicated... but I think Takuya relied solely on survival instincts while he was held prisoner. Now he can't justify the actions carried out on him in his mind, and it scares him- I know it scares me."
Kouichi nodded slowly, "I think I understand- When JP and I gave him the catnip, he reacted negatively- but too negative for his typical personality. He thinks differently as a Digimon than as a human- which makes sense."
"So… what does that mean for us now?" Tommy asked, a little confused with what they were trying to explain.
"I'm not sure Tommy. I just know that it isn't going to be easy for him to overcome any of this. I mean, all this crap just… piled down hard on him. Who knows what that'll do to a kid our age? It's probably scarred him for life..." Kouji muttered and looked to the poor boy asleep against the blonde.
The others looked solemnly to each other. Just when things looked like they were going to get better, they turn out to be worse. Takuya looked like he was sleeping peacefully but who knew how long that would last.
"We should probably call it." JP offered to everyone. Any energy he had was long gone after their discussion.
"It's probably a good idea. I'm sure everyone would appreciate getting some rest and getting a fresh start tomorrow." Kouichi agreed and surveyed the expressions on everyone's faces. They were all drained.
With that decided, the group called it in and everyone made their way home, Kouji lugging Takuya with him. The boy was still worn out after his nap and crashed hard in his mat as soon as they arrived at the Minamoto residence.
Kouji rolled his eyes as he lay back on his own bed. He let his mind wander back to their conversation from earlier. Something Kouichi had said bothered him. Did he and Takuya really act differently when they were Digimon?
The notion felt frightening. If this was true, they weren't fully in control of themselves when they evolved. Who could imagine what kinds of trouble they could cause if they acted solely on instinct.
"What are we anymore..." Kouji wondered aloud, not really sure he wanted to know the answer.
The boy sighed and closed his eyes, exhaustion finally getting to him. In a matter of minutes he was asleep like his friend on the mat.
Takuya moaned, twisting and turning in his cot. He was covered in sweat, and his breath was short. The boy clenched at his sheets, whimpering.
Everything hurt, people kept poking and prodding him and sticking needles into his veins. Lights blinded the poor boy as bullets pelted him from every angle, stinging his exposed flesh. He cried for them to stop, to let his suffering end. No relief would come, only more pain and sorrow.
Takuya bolted up right, shaking in a cold sweat. Kouji turned, propping himself up on an arm. "Takuya?" The brunette looked around the room, wide eyed and scared.
Kouji tilted his head with concern and confusion. He studied his friend's expression, trying to gauge the boy's emotional state. "Takuya... what's wrong?"
The brunette looked up at his best friend, calming down slowly. He took several shaky breaths before he spoke, "N-nothing, I'm f-fine."
"No you are not. You were crying like you were hurt or something..." Kouji replied firmly, "Come on Takuya."
"Kouji..." Takuya looked away, feeling the pain twisting into a knot in his chest. He shivered again, trying to drum up the courage to talk to someone about his harrowing experience. "I... I..."
The elder boy sighed softly and got out of bed. He moved beside his frightened friend, taking a seat next to Takuya. "So... it's the lab and those people again, isn't it?" He asked softly.
Takuya nodded slowly, keeping his gaze trained on the ground. "Y-yeah... I... they won't go away."
Kouji pulled the boy into a hug trying to comfort his friend. Takuya didn't resist and just let Kouji pull him into the embrace, tears falling freely again. "Everything's going to be okay Takuya…"
"I just… I don't know Kouji… it's not going to go away… I-I thought I could get over it but… I just can't get over it…" Takuya whimpered weakly, wrapping his arms tight around himself.
"They're not going to take you back. You're safe now." The younger twin tried to reassure. "We're not going to let them take you away."
Takuya shook his head. "You don't get it… I… they already hurt me! I-I can't sleep… I even go to a hospital without freaking out!"
Kouji frowned, "I know. I know they hurt you..." he sighed, "Maybe if you talked about it though..."
"No. I can't..." Takuya said quickly, his voice soft and timid, "I... I just... can't..."
"Alright, just... forget it, okay?" Kouji spoke quietly, feeling bad for his best friend. "I want to help you."
Takuya nodded, hugging his knees to his chest, "I know... I just can't... I don't want to relive any of it... ever again"
The elder boy moved to sit beside Takuya and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "I understand Takuya... I just hate seeing you hurt like this."
The boy shivered at Kouji's touch. He sighed softly, "I hate feeling like this... I just want to be myself again..."
"I know Takuya… I know." Kouji bit his lip, understanding the feeling himself. How he wished he could be normal again. This whole Digimon thing was really weighing down on them. It was becoming more of a burden then it was a gift. He wanted to curse at whatever was responsible for making them like this.
Takuya sighed weakly and curled up in his cot. "Let's just… go back to sleep alright?"
Kouji wanted to argue but with the way Takuya was curled up with his back turned to him, it was difficult to talk any further. "Takuya…"
"Please… I just… want to get some sleep…" Takuya murmured and covered his head with the blanket. "Please… just… just let me sleep…"
The younger twin sighed weakly and complied, lying back down on his bed. "A-alright… Good night Takuya."
