What's up guys? Hope you're all doing good this week. We got another chapter up for you guys and it's a roller coaster ride of emotions, let me tell ya. I know you're going to enjoy it.

"Angegirlmon" - As cute as it would be, we still have plans with the Kanbaras. Well, sure the act might not seem so bad at first but there's a lot of stuff that's built up with it, as you will soon see. It'll make more sense soon enough, promise.

"TsukiyoTenshi" - Camping's always fun, I think... I don't really know much myself but hey, when has camping ever gone wrong? -glances at Adventure- Uh... aside from that of course... heh heh...

"Something dictionary related" - Well, that is pretty much a good synopsis of everything that's happened in the story so far. Now... the questions. Let's see, in order... Um... can't say, can't say, can't say, big epic climax, and nah, no thanks. I'm kinda on an only water thing right now.

"Aiden Crossfire" - Takuya does have like, the best friends in the world doesn't he? I mean, these guys are wicked awesome. And I'm sure camp's gonna be loads of fun.

"adventuremaker16" - Um... sorry but as we said before, a lot of this is already written ahead of time. We just break the story down into chapters and update every week to keep things regular without it going crazy.

"Akrisakara" - Well, it is a long process still and you can't get through this without expecting some sort of backlash here or there. I suppose a lot of this involves playing the waiting game and helping Takuya along the way. As for the camping trip. There's a bit of everything, here or there. You'll see with the next few chapters.

"DiaSphere" - Well, stuff's gonna happen, that's for sure. You'll see.

"SlinkingFox" - Kouichi's just awesome. ^^ ANd the camping thing might just be what Takuya needs as you'll see.

"The Keeper of Worlds" - Oh god if someone actually tried that with him... yeah, I'd expect a blood bath. But hey, camping should be fun, right?

"Digidestinedkid6" - Um, not sure what you mean there friend. ^^; Sorry. At least I can tell you that camping will be interesting.

"Zanzibar1" - Welcome to the show and I'm glad you like the story. We'll be keeping the story going so nothin' to worry about.

"Truenovel91" - We'll keep up with the Takumi, don't worry.

Okey dokey, let's have some fun shall we? To the camping trip!

Chapter 42: I'm Still Here.

Takuya and the twins hopped on an early morning train and arrived at the Himi residence, meeting with the others.

"Hey there Takuya!" Tommy called out to the trio as they approached, a big smile on his face as his father packed the rest of his gear in the trunk of the car.

Mr. Himi turned to the boys and waved at them. "Good morning kids, you all excited for your trip?"

"Very much so Mr. Himi. Thank you again for lending us your cabin for our trip." Kouichi greeted with a chipper attitude. "We really appreciate it."

"Don't mention it. It's been a while since anyone used the cabin so there's no problem letting you kids use it." The adult responded and ruffled his son's hair. "So long as you make sure to be safe I'm more than okay with it."

Mrs. Himi soon joined them once everyone's things were loaded into the cars. "Alright, this is going to be a long trip, so do anything you need to do now before we get going," the mother said with a bright smile.

The children nodded, taking her advice before arranging themselves in the cars. With the six of them, they needed two vehicles to make the trip. Tommy, JP and Kouichi went with Mrs. Himi, while Kouji, Takuya and Zoe went with Yutaka, who volunteered to drive his own car ad go on to meet with his friends at a different camping site.

"You guys ready?" Yutaka asked, checking to make sure everyone had their seat belt latched. They all nodded as Yutaka backed the car out into the street. Kouji sat in the passenger's seat, giving Takuya a place next to Zoe.

The blonde smiled at Takuya, "Ready Taku?"

"As I'll ever be."

Zoe smiled and looked out the window as the car took them out of the city. The prospect of going camping had made her reminiscent of when she went camping with her classmates. This year had proven to be much better than before now that she was able to open up more to people.

"This is going to be so much fun guys." She smiled brightly and turned to Takuya. "We have so much we can do."

Yutaka looked at the two in the mirror briefly. "You guys are really excited huh?"

Zoe nodded happily. "It's a little impromptu but I've really been looking forward to it. It'll be really nice to get out of the city and have some fun here."

Takuya smiled at the blonde, feeling encouraged by her positive attitude. "Yeah."

"Glad to see you're out of your funk." Kouji said, more to himself.

The brunette made a face at him, having heard Kouji's remark. Kouji rolled his eyes.

Yutaka missed the exchange and continued talking, "I won't be too far off, so if you guys need anything, just call alright?"

Kouji nodded, "Tommy gave us your number just for that reason."

"He's really grown up- you all have been such a good influence on him," the elder boy remarked, "He's not the obnoxious little brat I used to know anymore."

The statement struck home with Takuya as he began to wonder about his own brother. It had been months since he saw him last. He hadn't really given Shinya much thought until now. Did his little brother miss him? What did he even know? Did his parents tell him about their encounter with Dracmon in the living room?

Zoe noticed the sudden sullen look on Takuya's face and took his hand in hers, grabbing his attention. "Takuya, what's wrong?"

"I-it's nothing." Takuya shook his head and tried at a smile to make it seem like he was okay. The blonde didn't buy it though. "I was just thinking..."

"About?" Zoe persisted.

Takuya sighed and looked out the window. "I was thinking about Shinya…" he turned his gaze back to the girl. "Do you think he… misses me?"

The blonde was unnerved by Takuya's sudden inquiry about his brother. He looked conflicted, as if unsure of what to think regarding Shinya. They didn't necessarily get along much but anyone could tell that they cared about each other.

"He does miss you." Kouji stated, getting the elder Kanbara's attention. He didn't say much else considering Yutaka's company. Kouji was pretty sure Yutaka wasn't aware of the whole Digimon thing so Kouji didn't risk saying anymore as to make Yutaka ask any questions.

"Well, here we are." The college student stated, arriving at the cabin behind his mother. "Man, looks exactly like how I remembered it."

JP and Kouichi were already unloading the first car while Mrs. Himi fussed over her younger so. "You packed enough sunscreen?"

"Yes mom." Tommy answered, clearly having enough of her babying him.

"Enough snacks?"

"Mom... I got it under control. Please stop?" the youngest half begged.

She smiled and hugged him, "I get it... Sorry. Just be safe alright sweetie?"

Tommy smiled back at his mother, "We'll be fine Mom. Besides, Yutaka is just 20 minutes away. We'll call if we need something."

They finished their exchange as Takuya, Kouji and Yutaka finished up packing the second car. Takuya still looked sullen in Zoe's opinion but deciding to address it once the additional Himis had departed. Yutaka got back on the road once the car had been unpacked, going on to meet his own friends. Mrs. Himi lingered to help them set up inside, leaving shortly before sunset.

Kouichi set to work setting up dinner for the group with Tommy assisting. Kouji went out with JP to collect firewood, thus leaving Takuya alone with Zoe to arrange and put away everyone's things.

"Takuya, can we talk?" Zoe asked him as they took everyone's bags to the bedrooms; the twins in one room, Takuya, JP and Tommy in another, and Zoe in another. "About earlier at the car?"

Takuya gave the blonde his full attention. "…About Shinya?"

She nodded. "Kouji was right. He does miss you. After the incident with ShadowSeraphimon… he went looking for you."

The boy was surprised by this revelation. Shinya actually went out to look for him? "He did…? But…" he remembered how Shinya had seen him as Flamon attack Dracmon. That must have been terrifying for the little boy to see two monsters fight in front of him.

"He said he was confused but after what happened in the city, he was scared for you. He started talking to Tommy to try and find any information he could about you." Zoe continued.

Takuya took in the information. Shinya was legitimately worried about him. He just found that a little hard to believe but it made him feel touched that his brother actually missed him. "…Do you know what he thinks about… well? Flamon?"

Zoe smiled at him. "He was scared at first but he says he thinks you looked really cool."

"He actually said that?" Takuya said quietly, stunned that his brother didn't see him as a monster like others had.

"Shinya wants his big brother back, and we want our best friend back Taku. You've been through just so much hell... We're all worried about you..." Zoe finished in a hushed tone.

Takuya tensed up and looked away. "It's still painful..." he whispered, "I still have nightmares..."

"That's nothing to be ashamed of Taku..." Zoe insisted, "That was really traumatic- any ordinary person would have checked themselves into a psych ward."

"Are you saying I'm crazy?"

The blonde gave him the shut-up-I-wasn't-finished looked. "Not at all. You are so brave and so strong Takuya. You overcame that ordeal in a few short weeks. You didn't let it rule your mind."

"It still haunts me though…" Takuya argued.

Zoe took his shoulders in her hands and made Takuya look at her. "You're still making your way through this Takuya. You've made so much improvement since you were freed from that place. You've opened up to us, let us in, you let us help you."

"Zoe…" Takuya bit his lip. "I'm not really ready to get over it though…"

She shook her head. "I told you there's no shame in that. But I know this is something you can overcome. I know you can." Zoe relaxed her grip and hugged the boy close to her.

Takuya didn't know what else he could say to her. He just let himself return her embrace. He didn't know why but he just felt a little more at ease. Maybe he could just let it go for now.

"Hey guys! Dinner is almost ready," Kouichi called, knowing that Takuya and Zoe were somewhere having a private moment.

The pair quickly returned to the main living space where Tommy was setting the table. Takuya went to help Kouichi bring the food from the kitchen to the table while Zoe got ice out for drinks. Kouji and JP burst though the door a moment later, having deposited the firewood in a neat pile by the front door.

"That smells really good Kouichi," JP commented as he and Kouji washed heir hands before joining everyone else at the table.

Kouichi grinned, "It's something my mom makes- pan fried chicken and veggies over brown rice. Dig in!"

"Wow… you really outdid yourself." Tommy praised in awe of the food on his plate. He grinned and turned to the others, seeing that they had already started to dig in. "Wow…"

Kouichi rolled his eyes. He should have expected the group to go into a feeding frenzy what with two of them being Digimon and the other two having large appetites. "Wow you guys. Save some for the rest of us."

Takuya smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, just uh… really hungry."

"You guys really put Zoe's appetite to shame." Kouichi observed in amusement, ignoring the faint glare the blonde was sending him.

"You boys are just jealous," she remarked coolly.

Kouji snorted, "Whatever you say Zoe."

The six children fell silent, as they ate, too busy shoveling food into their mouths to have a conversation. Takuya and Kouji easily polished off half of Kouichi's dish by themselves.

"If you two keep this up, we'll need to go fishing or something in order to eat something," Kouichi observed.

"We can fish- right Kouji?" Takuya suggested.

The younger twin nodded, "Between Strabimon and Flamon, I think we can pull it off."

Kouichi grinned, "Good, then grab a bucket and get going then."

"What- now?" Takuya questioned.

"Yeah, it's dusk. The fish will be biting," JP stated, earning glare from the two half Digimon.

They sighed. Takuya spoke up in a defeated tone, "looks like we don't have a choice..."

The two got up and collected the bucket they would need to store fish. "We'll be back," Kouji, said, half dragging Takuya out the front door.

"I can't believe we're doing this." Takuya muttered, still being half dragged by the younger twin as they made their way through the woods. "I don't even remember seeing a lake or a river on our way here."

Kouji rolled his eyes. "We'll be fine. Even if we get stuck we just have to evolve and let our sense kick in."

Takuya huffed but nodded. Kouji did bring up a good point. "Well, might as well evolve and find … whatever source of water we can find."

"Good idea. I don't want to be out here longer than I have to." Kouji agreed.

In a moment there was a brief flash of light and the two Digimon took to traveling through the trees, jumping from branch to branch as they searched for a suitable place to fish. It didn't take them long to find a stream that lead to a lake.

Takuya stopped along the river and looked into the clear water. "This seems like a good place to fish. Just gotta wait for the fish to come by."

"Well… that shouldn't take too long." Kouji remarked and stretched his claws out.

"Think we'll catch anything?" Takuya asked, picking at the running water as if trying to figure out how to fish bare handed. "How the hell do animals do this?"

"Beats the hell out of me... Are you going to sit on that rock or get in the water?" Kouji remarked, staring at Takuya poised over the water while he was knee deep in water.

Takuya scowled, "It's cold!"

"Baby."

"At least I'm dry!" Takuya shot back.

Kouji grinned evilly, "Not for long..."

"No- Kouji you get away from me or I'll-" Splash! Kouji pulled Takuya into the cold water thoroughly drenching him. "Jerk."

"Now that you've joined me, help me catch some fish would ya?"

Takuya growled at him, but took a stance in the water, not moving so the fish would come closer to him. It didn't take long for the fish to return, swimming closer and closer to the half Digimon.

Kouji struck first, using his long claws to grip the fish. Takuya made his first catch soon after, trying hard not to let it wriggle out of his grasp. "This isn't so bad..."

The elder of the two looked amused at the fire Digimon's attempt to keep his catch. "Having trouble there Takuya?"

"Shut the hell up." Takuya growled and managed to get the fish into the bucket. "I'm doing just fine thank you very much."

The wolf Digimon smirked at his friend. "Sure you are."

That sparked the challenge. "I can catch just as much fish as you can if not more!" Takuya growled competitively and got back into the water, his mind set in outdoing the wolf boy.

Kouji rolled his eyes but nevertheless accepted the challenge. "Sure Takuya. You're on."

"Twenty minutes. Whoever catches the most fish by then wins." Takuya explained and looked down at the water, ready to catch his wet and slippery prey.

"You're on!" Kouji barked competitively. The two took up a stance in the creek, splashing about trying to gather more fish than the other.

The boys grabbed at the slippery creatures, not being overly successful. Takuya got one by the tail, digging his short claws into the base of its tail. He pulled it into his hands, blood dripping down his hands from where his claws tore into the skin of the fish.

He froze feeling the fish's blood against his skin. A sick, twisting feeling settled in his stomach as his mind flashed back to the rabbit. He dropped the fish in the water and staggered back. Kouji looked up seeing Takuya's distressed look.

"Takuya? Hey what's wrong?"

Takuya took deep steady breaths as he tried to calm himself down but fell backwards into the water, still entranced by his dark thoughts about the rabbit. He panicked and rushed to the surface for air.

Kouji hurried over to his friend and helped him out of the water. It looked like Takuya was having a panic attack and that worried him. "Takuya, calm down. Just try to calm down."

Takuya heaved, choking up water he accidentally swallowed. He started panting and tried again at calming down despite his thoughts remaining on the rabbit. It got to the point where he almost got sick when he remembered how he ripped the creature apart.

"Come on Takuya, you need to calm down." Kouji continued. When it finally seemed like Takuya had settled down the younger twin ventured to ask, "Just what the hell happened there?"

Takuya shook his head. "Nothing… it was nothing… just…"

"Don't give me that. Something seriously freaked you out." Kouji retorted, giving the boy a dead serious look.

The flame Digimon looked up at his friend weakly. "Kouji please..."

Kouji sighed softly, "Alright... I get it... " He sat down beside his best friend. "Just relax... 'Kay?"

Takuya inhaled deeply, calming down slowly. He shivered trying to push the memories out of his mind. Kouji gently rubbed Takuya's back.

"You alright Takuya...?" Kouji asked after a long silence lingered between them.

The boy nodded weakly, "Yeah... just... bad memories..."

They sat there in silence, listening to the sounds of nature and their fish splashing about in the bucket. Takuya seemed to have calmed down but his experience still haunted the boy.

"I think we've caught enough fish to last us a while. Let's get back to the others." Kouji observed, their buckets full of fish as the sun having long since set.

Takuya nodded and carefully picked up one of the buckets, making sure not to let any jump out. "Sorry about freaking out earlier…"

"It's alright. Don't mention it." Kouji responded and glanced back at his friend to see how he was holding up. The boy didn't look bad but he was still worried that something could happen on their way back. "Are you sure you're going to be okay?"

"I'm fine Kouji… I'm fine." Takuya sighed and just looked down at the fish in his bucket. Just looking at them reminded him of the rabbit from before. He grimaced and looked ahead towards the trail. The pair returned to the cabin and were greeted by their companions.

Kouichi smiled and approached the two Digimon. "How was the fishing?" He looked in amazement at the number of fish they caught. "Wow."

"You guys caught a lot of fish." JP observed, "Are we going to be able to use all of them?"

Zoe snorted with a laugh. "You underestimate them," she said, nodding to the two half Digimon.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kouji growled playfully.

"You know what I mean!" the blonde teased.

Takuya put his bucket down on the ground, and backed away from his friends. He felt his mind wandering back to that dark place. Tommy went to his side. "Takuya? What's wrong?"

This gathered everyone's attention and caused them to look to Takuya, noticing the despondent look on his face. Zoe approached him and gave him a worried look. "Taku? Are you okay? Did something happen?"

"It's nothing Zoe. I'll be fine." Takuya tried to assure here.

She didn't look like she was buying it. "Taku…"

Kouichi turned to his brother. "Just what happened while you two were fishing?"

"He just remembered a bad memory back while we were fishing." Kouji answered simply. "I tried talking to him about it but he wasn't in the mood to talk about it."

"I'm still not." Takuya muttered, moving away from his friends. "Can we drop it? Please?"

Zoe looked to object but Kouji and Kouichi both shook their heads. "He'll talk when he's ready," Kouichi soothed.

The girl huffed at him but dropped it. She instead pulled Takuya onto the sofa and hugged him tightly. "Let's get your mind off it then, hmm?" Zoe said as she began to rub his ears gently, earning a loud purr of content from Takuya.

"Every time..." Kouji snorted shaking his head with a slight smile. "Let's find a place for the fish then."

He, Kouichi, and JP carted the fish into the kitchen so they could clean and filet them to be eaten at a later date. Tommy watched the three work while texting his brother with a status update- as per their mother's request for them to stay in contact.

Everyone nodded and went to their respective sleeping arrangement, letting Takuya and Zoe stay together and not disturbing them. Takuya actually slept through the night without having any nightmares for the first time in a long time.

Morning came and Takuya woke as warm sunrays hit his face. He yawned and shifted slightly, discovering Zoe still asleep beside him. He blushed at first but found her presence comforting. He gently pulled her closer, and lightly kissed the top of her head.

She made a soft sound, "mmm, ...Taku?" the blonde murmured sleepily.

"Good morning," he whispered softly.

Zoe rubbed the sleep out of her eyes tiredly and realized their position, blushing brightly like Takuya had before. "Good morning."

Takuya smiled lightly and nuzzled in closer to her, getting comfortable in their embrace. "Is it okay if we stay like this for a little while; just until everyone else is awake?"

"I don't mind." The blonde replied, resting back comfortably against him. She sighed contently, enjoying the moment of peace they had together. She couldn't even remember the last time they were completely comfortable like this. "Were you able to sleep okay?" she ventured to ask.

He nodded. "Yeah, actually. It was nice."

"What a relief." Zoe muttered happily to herself.

"I heard that," Takuya said with a slight grin. He wrapped his arms around Zoe so her back was against his chest. He took in the sweet scent in her hair and nuzzled her neck.

Zoe sighed again, relaxing into his embrace. She snuggled up closer to him. Takuya began to purr loudly, closing his eyes. He felt at peace and wished this moment would never end.

"Taku?" she asked after a while.

The boy tilted his head, "Yeah?"

The blonde paused before voicing her concerns, "Are you... are you still afraid? Of what happened to you?"

"I..." Takuya faltered, tensing up at her words. His voice cracked as he finally admitted, "Yeah... I am... " A long silence lingered between them before Takuya spoke again. "Am I a monster?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Zoe turned around to face him and looked the boy in the eyes. "No, you're not a monster. No one in their right mind would think you're a monster."

"But…"

"You're not a monster Takuya. You were hurting and scared and put through a lot of horrible things but that doesn't make you a monster." Zoe insisted, taking Takuya's face in her hands. "You're a good guy Taku. We all know that."

Takuya bit his lip, still not entirely convinced. "Zoe, they made me…"

"I know…" Zoe replied, hushing the boy. "What they made you do is… too terrible for words… but that doesn't make you a monster. They're the monsters for making you do something that."

He whimpered softly, trying to pull away from her. "But …you almost died, because of me... multiple times!"

"That was a long time ago Takuya. You saved me from Goblimon, Shinoba, AND IceDevimon. You're a hero, not a monster," the blonde insisted, "I love you Takuya, and nothing will ever change that- whether you're human, Digimon or something else entirely."

Takuya looked away, still not totally convinced. "I'm dangerous though..."

Zoe sat up, making Takuya do the same. "Do you listen to yourself? You are a good person Takuya. You always try to do the right thing. You're fearless and strong. They really hurt you, but you need to overcome that and be that person again. You need to believe in yourself again Takuya. "

"I don't think I can… Zoe, I lost my mind in that place… just the sight of blood makes me…" he shivered at the thought, recalling what had happened yesterday with the fish. "That's not going to go away…"

"I know you can go back to being the person I know you are. You're an amazing person. I know you can get through this." Zoe took both his hands in hers, holding them tightly. "That's the thing about you. No matter what happened, you always found a way to make it through it."

Takuya felt his eyes sting with tears. He wanted so badly to be able to get over all this; to just move on with his life. He didn't want to be like this anymore.

"You're one of the strongest people I know." She continued, looking Takuya in the eye. "Please, you can overcome this Takuya."

He pulled away from the girl, turning to hide his face. "No... no I can't..." he whispered, trembling with emotion. "I'm lying to myself and to you... I'm too afraid to face those memories... like I'm too afraid to admit when I'm wrong..."

"Takuya..."

"No Zoe! You... You don't understand!" He snapped, a slight growl rising in his throat.

The blonde flinched, but held her ground "I'm trying to understand Takuya! You won't talk to anyone though!"

"It's not that simple!" Takuya countered sharply, letting his frustration get the better of him.

Zoe didn't budge, desperate to get answers from the half Digimon. "Try me then!"

Takuya growled to himself, losing his patience, "I can't!" he shouted.

"Why not!?" she shouted back, becoming frustrated as well.

"Because I don't even know what to do anymore Zoe!" Takuya cried out, tears starting to spill down his cheeks, "I don't know how to be a Digimon- Let alone be a human anymore! I'm just some freak who doesn't feel comfortable in either form!"

Zoe sat back, startled and stunned by Takuya's words.

"I'm so scared of losing control again- I can't..." he choked out, "I have this urge to kill... and it terrifies me... just the sight of blood..." the boy shivered, whimpering softly. "It doesn't matter what form I take, it's always there... "

She reached out to comfort Takuya, only to find him flinch away from her touch. "Taku..."

"It feels so weird being human too... like... it's not right, when I know it should be... " He continued quietly, "like my body isn't mine... like I'm more monster than human.. Maybe I am..."

"Takuya…" Zoe stared at him in shock. She never thought he would feel something like this; to think of himself as a monster. This had to stop. "Takuya, you can't think like that… you're not a monster."

Takuya shook his head. "Just look at me! I just can't hack it anymore… I feel like I'll lose control in this form and…" he groaned in frustration, holding his head in his hands. "I can't be human without feeling like it's just a… god I don't even know what!"

"Taku… Takuya, stop…" she tried again to reach out to him but flinched away, feeling an intense heat build up around him. His skin was just too hot to the touch and getting hotter. "Takuya… you're burning up…"

Takuya backed away, falling off of the couch with a loud thud and a small yelp. He barely registered the fall and scramble to his feet as Kouji and everyone else came rushing into the room after hearing Takuya fall.

"What happened? We heard a loud noise." Kouji asked, switching his gaze between the blonde and the distraught boy. He noticed the look on Takuya's face. "Takuya… what's wrong…" he turned to Zoe, as if expecting an answer from her. "What the hell happened?"

"I was just trying to talk to him and…" Zoe tried finding her voice.

Before she really found a chance to speak up, Takuya dashed past everyone and pushed the door open and ran outside. Despite his friends calling out for him, Takuya just ignored them and bounded into the woods, climbing into the trees.

He couldn't just stay there anymore. He needed time to clear his head; to push away these dark thoughts. Just even thinking back on all that instantly made him think back to the rabbit. Nausea built up in him as he recalled the pungent smell, the raw taste, and all the blood. It made him sick.

Without really paying attention to his surroundings, he slipped off one of the branches and fell hard on the ground. Takuya moaned weakly and held his head, trying to block out the pain that had shot throughout his body. He crawled to one of the nearby trees and curled up defensively, trying to push the thoughts out.

Why was this happening to him? What had he done to deserve such a fate? No matter how much good he tried to do or how much support he had from his friends, there was always something wrong; there was always something terrible following him, haunting him like a malevolent spirit.

Why couldn't everything just go back to normal; to feel safe and comfortable in his own skin again? What he would give to just be rid of all this.

He slumped, pulling his knees to his chest. Doing so made his D-Tector fall from his pocket, having forgotten it was even there. Just seeing it illuminate on impact with the ground made Takuya angry. This was Agunimon's fault. He was forced to become Flamon because of him. Forced to take on the burden of being a Digimon again.

Takuya picked up the device, and held it in his lap. He glared at the red and black device, as though he dared Agunimon to appear before him.

"This is your fault," he growled, "You made me like this!"

The screen remained blank. This only made the boy angrier. He clenched the device tightly, threatening to break it.

"You were supposed to protect me! But all you've done is make me suffer!" He snarled, "You turned me into this monster!"

Tears formed in his eyes as he cried out in desperation. "Come on! Show yourself you coward!" The blonde warrior would not appear to him, no matter how much Takuya shouted.

He snarled wildly, before breaking down into pained sobs. He whimpered softly, feeling hurt and betrayed. "What do I do...? I... I'm so scared... Agunimon please...help..."
