Iruma's First Demon School Fight?!
Iruma looks at the demon school known as Babyls as he'll be going there for the opening ceremony, even though he is scared right now because of the demon students being and worried about getting eaten, deep down he is actually looking forward to going to school again.
"Well, I have to get ready. Bye!" Sullivan said before vanishing.
"Uh, what about you Opera?" Iruma asked.
"Have a lovely day, sir." Opera said before walking away.
"Thanks…" Iruma groaned a bit.
"Hey Iruma, come down here for a bit." Bachiko gestured her finger.
Iruma did as he is told and kneel for an almost eye-level contact then Bachiko flick him on the forehead.
"What was that for?" Iruma asked as the flick stings a little.
"To make you stop worrying. Look, you maybe the first human here in this school but the other demons won't even notices that as you'll already blend right in." Bachiko stated.
"You really think so?" Iruma asked.
"Yeah, look at some of the demons and you'll notice that they have human-like appearance similar to yours." Bachiko pointed at some of the students.
True to her words, Iruma saw some of the young demons coming here do have similar appearance of a human as some humanoid and others almost like they're fully human.
"Wow, you're right." Iruma surprised.
"Duh, of course, I'm right. Now quit being all worrywart and get going, first day of school doesn't wait for anyone." Bachiko helped straighten out the red bow.
"Okay, I'll be going then. Bye mom." Iruma waved at his newly adopted mom as he walks towards the school.
"Later, kid. And don't do something that can make you stand out more!" Bachiko called out, smiling seeing her newly adopted son going off to school.
"Hmm, why do I get the feeling something is gonna happen soon." Bachiko asked herself.
Iruma is walking toward the school gate and past four demon students wearing black and red uniforms, and he just realize that he doesn't have any idea where to go for the opening ceremony.
"Hey, you." One demon student with white and black hair called out to Iruma, making him flinch.
"A-Are you talking to me?" Iruma asked feeling a bit scared. Remembering what Sullivan said about being eaten if they found out, but he also remembered Bachiko's words about already blinding in.
"D-Did you need something?" Iruma asked again nervously.
"New first-years go to the auditorium, that way." The black-white hair demon student pointed the way.
"Oh, thank you. Sorry, sir!" Iruma quickly ran off.
"(Thank goodness, they didn't figure out I'm human.)" Iruma thought sighed in relief.
Iruma made his way to the auditorium where a large number of students are gathered there as he managed to find himself a sit between two large demons, the blue-haired boy does his best to stay calm though feels extremely scared of being surrounded by scary demons.
"I hope we'll be in the same class together." One blonde demon girl excited.
"Me too!" A green dragon demon girl nodded.
"(Hey, a normal conversation.)" Iruma thought surprised and heard another girl saying to perhaps her family.
"(Maybe mom was right, and I won't have to worry more.)" Iruma thought smiled.
"Silence." A scary-looking teacher said instantly making all the students quiet.
"(Is he a teacher? He's terrifying.)" Iruma thought.
"Thank you all for waiting. It's 6:06am, let's formally commence the welcome ceremony to Babyls." One teacher with white horns and light brown hair declared.
"Now all of you, raise. It's time for the school song." One upperclassmen student said as everyone stands up including Iruma and a piano music started to play.
Humans only exist to be our food
Suck them dry, soul, blood, flesh, and all
Iruma's body started shaking a little in fear of how terrifying and gruesome this song is, really hoping his mom is right about him blinding in with the others and NOT getting eaten.
Tremble at the sound of black wings as we take flight
For we are demons (x3)
As this song pours forth from our red lips
Iruma pray to the Heavens or whatever higher being that he doesn't get find out he's human while trying to calm as possible despite looking so pale.
Scream for us, for we are demons
The song ended and Iruma let out a sigh as he wasn't sure if he can take listening to that song longer.
"Next, a greeting from our director." A teacher announced as the students cheered.
"(As in… the King of the Demons?)" Iruma thought.
"Iruma! It's me, you're loving grandpa!" Sullivan called out joyfully, standing on the stage.
"HE'S THE DIRECTOR?!" Iruma gasped, then quickly quiet himself as the students are surprised that Sullivan as a grandkid.
"Yes, indeed. My grandson now attend this school and he is so precious and adorable, I could squeeze him until his eyes pop out." Sullivan bragged giggling.
"Oh no, please don't embarrass me." Iruma whispered.
"And that's not all! Say hello to your mother, Iruma because she's here too!" Sullivan lifted Bachiko from behind the table stance with her face blushing.
"MOM?!" Iruma gasped.
"Hey, I think I know her. She's the Undead Archer, Barbatos Bachiko." One of the students mentioned.
"Wait, does that mean she is also Sullivan's daughter?" One green furry demon puzzled.
"My head feels like it's about to exploded!" One yellow fishy-like demon said dizzy.
"I'm sorry, Iruma. I couldn't stop him…" Bachiko whispered apologizing.
"And right here, I have the photo we took just a minute ago." Sullivan pulled out a paper-size photo of himself, Bachiko, and Iruma together next to the Entrance Ceremony sign.
"Look, it's me, my grandson, and his mommy!" Sullivan said cheerfully.
"He blew my cover!" Iruma gasped and covered his face with his hands.
"Copies will be made available for any purchase."
"I promise, no one wants that." Iruma and Bachiko groaned.
"Well, that's all I really wanted to say, so bye!" Sullivan hopped away from the stage leaving Bachiko behind.
"Just get on with the ceremony." Bachiko groaned.
"Okay, and now we'll have a greeting from the new students Representative, Asmodeus." The teacher said and the student named Asmodeus walk towards the stage.
Some of the girls in the gathering became idolizes of how amazingly hot and handsome Asmodeus is, wishing to be curse by him.
"(Good, he's a perfect distraction.)" Iruma thought sighed.
"What? Okay. Giving the address in his place is… the Honor Student, Iruma Barbatos." The teacher announced much to Iruma and Bachiko's shock.
"(Damn it, Lord Sullivan. Why?)" Bachiko thought winced as Iruma came up to the stance.
Everyone commented that Iruma looks like a cute baby at first and some have believed that he got guts of not blinking in front of a huge crowd.
"(I can't breathe when I'm in the spot like this.)" Iruma thought nervous.
"If you wouldn't mind giving your greeting." The teacher said.
"Pss, Iruma." Bachiko whispered getting his attention.
"Just do a simple "Hello, my fellow students" first." Bachiko instructed.
"O-Okay." Iruma nodded before looking back at the crowd.
"H-Hello, my fellow students." Iruma greeted nervously, then saw the photo Sullivan showed earlier with writing on the back.
"I sent you these words of wisdom for good luck and well wishes, so you won't trip and fall throughout your upcoming school days.
Your loving Grandpa."
"(Am I supposed to read this out loud?)" Iruma thought wondered but seeing he doesn't have a choice right now as he took a deep breathe.
"Aberuhauke."
Everyone, both the students and the teachers all became gasp in fear when Iruma said that word and more scared when he kept saying the others.
"Tartoudari. Iusabebe." Iruma started to notice everyone is so quiet all the sudden.
"(No, no, Lord Sullivan, you didn't!)" Bachiko thought realized while shaking in fear.
"Risutouru. Aburuze. Sutoumanu. Aberuge. Uru. Mahoraba."
The only one who isn't frightened of the words Iruma is saying is Sullivan as he is standing backstage recording all this with his Devi-camera.
"Tsurezaza." Iruma read the last word and his body glowed green for an instant, and then the students started cheering for him much to his confusion.
"Uh, mom, are you okay?" Iruma asked seeing Bachiko down on her knees and hands.
"Thank the Devil, you're still alive." Bachiko panted.
"Hey, you." A teacher walked up to Iruma.
"You can't just chant forbidden spells like that." The teacher said.
"Uh, what?" Iruma seemed more confused now.
"They're taboo for a good reason, if you were to stutter or read it wrong your body could've exploded. That just comment sense." The teacher explained.
"(That's news to me! I could I have known it was dangerous?!)" Iruma thought gasped with his legs shaking.
"That stuff was foolish, reckless, and crazy. And unbelievable awesome too!" The demon teacher said with a thumb up as Iruma is shocked.
"Only a total idiot would use that spell or an oblivious demon who doesn't fear death." The demon teacher smiled.
"By the way, sir, what exactly does that spell do?" Iruma asked.
"If it works, it'll prevent you from tripping and falling the whole day." The teacher answered.
"Wait, seriously…?" Iruma exclaimed.
"I think I'm gonna go out for a walk." Bachiko decided as she walks off the stage to calm her mind.
Iruma walk off the stage too, then stopped when one student stands in front of him with a fierce look in his eyes.
"You may call me Asmodeus Alice." Alice said.
Alice has a tall stature and feminine features. He has fair skin and medium-length light-pink hair. He has pointed ears and his eyes are magenta with long eyelashes. Instead of wearing Babylus' school uniform, Alice wears a formal set of his own. He wears a black dress shirt under a white waistcoat and an elegant white overcoat with gold trim, complimenting the gold-trimmed boots and white trousers.
"Uh, hi there." Iruma greeted.
(Outside)
Iruma is now standing several feet across from Alice who is glaring at him causing his body to shake in fear.
"(Why do I suddenly feel like I'm about to die?)" Iruma thought asked himself in fear.
"Huh, excuse me… are you gonna eat me?" Iruma asked.
"I was supposed to deliver the school greeting. The punishment for thieving that spotlight from me is most assuredly death." Alice said as he summons fire from his right hand.
Asmodeus Alice, a demon well-known for his mastery of fire spells.
"And since you so rudely stole my thunder, I reserve the right to test your medal and see if you are truly worthy of it. Agreed?" Alice asked fiercely.
Iruma looks around seeing the other students cheering and getting excited for this fight to happen.
"Wow, they're really into this." Iruma gulped.
"Now, you only have mere moments to try and prove that you are superior to me with your body!" Alice threw a fireball at Iruma.
Alice is known for having powerful fire magic that no newbies could handle and could be on pair with the upperclassmen too, and yet he could not land a single hit on Iruma as he manages to dodge them all so quick while panicking at the same time.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Bachiko shoved herself through the crowed students and her eyew widen of shock of seeing Iruma getting attack by Alice.
"Why is Iruma in a fight?!" Bachiko freaked out.
"Hey look, it's Iruma's mom." One student noticed her, and suddenly got grabbed and pulled down by the collar of his shirt.
"Do you mind telling me what the actual Hell is going on here?" Bachiko demanded.
"Asmodeus brought Iruma here to fight for taking the student greeting spotlight or something like that." The student answered in fear of Bachiko's pink glowing finger against his neck.
"(Seriously, all because of that!)" Bachiko thought angered.
"But the strangest thing is that he hasn't been able to hit Iruma once." The student mentioned.
Bachiko tossed the student away and look to the fight seeing Alice continuing with his fiery attacks sending countless fireballs, and Iruma keeps on dodging them all, this surprises the pink archer wondering if he has some kind of danger senser.
This fight on continues on with Alice throwing more fireballs and Iruma keeps dodging them all until they stop of exhaustion.
For twenty straight minutes, Iruma managed to dodge every single attack.
"What the hell? I haven't hit you once." Alice puzzled.
"I know, sorry about that." Iruma apologized.
"Damn, how is Iruma able to do that?" Bachiko wondered.
How is such a feat remotely possible? In truth, it's because he's unfortune. After being put through endless Hell by his garbage parents, by default he became a master of avoiding anything. Whether they be dangerous, scary, or painful, he dodged it all.
"(Now's my chance, I need to apologize.)" Iruma thought.
He may have zero offense, but his defense is infinity. If given a name, this rare would be called "Overwhelming Crisis Evasion Capability."
"(Well, it looks like Iruma will try to apologize, but wait…)" Bachiko thought begun to realize something.
"Iruma's a beast."
"He hasn't even tried to attack him yet."
"Wait, is he saying Asmodeus is not worth his time? Whoa!"
"(Crap, they're taking this the wrong way!)" Bachiko thought grinded as she hears the students talking.
"Well, are they right? Am I so not worth attacking, you won't even bother?" Alice asked feeling his pride has been shattered.
"No, no, no, no, no! It's not you, at all. I'm the unworthy bug here." Iruma tried to make Alice that he's the better one.
However, the students around them again misunderstood that Iruma is saying Alice is worthless than a bug and called him a coward that he should run home to his mommy.
"You got it all wrong!" Iruma freaked out.
"I will not abide this." Alice angered as he stands up and used his magic to create a fire sword.
"If magic won't work, I'll just have to take you down using martial arts. Prepare for destruction!" Alice charged at Iruma.
However, Iruma parry Alice past him while he panicked.
He uses his opponent's strength to parry, another part of his Overwhelming Crisis Evasion Capability.
Alice could not stop himself from charging forward as his is heading toward one female student with his flame sword pointed at her.
"Careful, watch out!" Iruma tried to stop Alice by grabbing him around the torso, but he didn't have the strength to stop the fall.
Then Iruma's body glows green for an instant like before and a huge dust suddenly erupted.
"If it works, it'll prevent you from tripping and falling the whole day."
All the students and Bachiko became shocked upon seeing what has just happened right before their eyes of how the duel has ended.
Those who witness the duel that day would later say…
The dust cloud cleared up showing Iruma have slammed Alice's head on the ground while bending backward, all because of that one said forbidden spell.
Yes, it was without exaggeration a perfectly executed German Supplex.
All the students started cheering for Iruma's victory in the duel believing that he is strong than they thought, but Iruma and Bachiko weren't feeling the celebration like the others.
"(I'm doom.)" Iruma thought feared.
(Later, Chair-Demon's Office)
Bachiko is reading the Babyls school newspaper, the Wickedness, about Iruma reading a forbidden spell at the opening ceremony and gave the head of the Class Asmodeus Alice a concussion, even showing a picture of Iruma's "attack".
"Well, some say your first day in school would be an exciting one. At least for some…" Bachiko looked at her freaking out adopted son.
"I expect nothing less from my grandson. You have such a bright future ahead of you!" Sullivan hopped in joy.
"No, I don't, what I did was completely awful." Iruma sweated in fear.
"I'm sure it'll be fine." Bachiko said as she puts down the newspaper.
"How can you say that? I gotta apolo"
Alice forcibly opens the door before Iruma could finish his sentence and walk toward Iruma who scared that he might want payback for earlier, but instead, Alice got down on one knee with a bow.
"I am now at your service, Iruma." Alice said much to Iruma's confusion.
"There's nothing more to say. I squarely, handle lost to you in our earlier duel. On top of that, I was informed you carried me all the way to the infirmary, and I, Asmodeus Alice, was moved far beyond what mere words could even express." Alice said gratefully.
"Huh, wait, I…" Iruma tried to stop him.
"Written demon law dictates the defeated party must serve the victory, therefor…" Alice looked up at Iruma before smiling. "I pledge my undying loyalty to you and will aid you into ruling this school forever!"
"WHAT?! Wait a minute, hang on!" Iruma freaked out.
"First, you need services and that's going to be the entire student body." Alice believed making Iruma freak out more.
"Who shall I slay first? Your wish is my command." Alice said.
"Yeah, this is exactly what I meant. Your school life here is going to be one HUGE roller coaster ride." Bachiko sighed.
"No, please no!" Iruma cried.
Iruma Barbatos, age 14, enrolled at the Demon School Babyls has now acquired one subordinate.
"Shall I make tea?" Opera asked who is also in the office.
"I think we're gonna need more than tea." Bachiko pointed out.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Well, Iruma first day at the school turned out to be a very eventful day for everyone to see his strange evasion skill and how he became the certain of attention which can only make Irume worry. But at least he doesn't have to worry about blinding in with the other demons since Bachiko pointed out that some of them have human-like appearances, much.
