Unexpected Teacher Familiar of Summoning

Bachiko is seen in her bedroom just finished dressing up in her usually clothing style and took out another toothpick placing it hanging from her mouth, she walks out of the room making her way to the dining table where Iruma and Sullivan are waiting, and Opera is serving out the plates of breakfast.

"Morning, Bachiko." Sullivan greeted.

"G-Good morning, Mom." Iruma greeted a little nervous.

"Morning, Iruma. Lord Sullivan." Bachiko greeted back as she sat down.

Barbatos Bachiko, Undead Archer and War Hero, have recently become the mother of the human boy, Iruma who's soul was sold by his idiot parents.

"Did you sleep well, Iruma?" Sullivan asked.

"Oh, yes." Iruma answered.

"No need to hold back, eat as much as you like. You're still a growing boy." Sullivan encouraged.

"(The food in the NetherRealm takes a little encouraging, but it's actually really good.)" Iruma thought as he took a bite on a pink worm-looking meat and smiles.

"(Man, Iruma is munching down like there's no tomorrow. Bet it's that former parents of his fault, probably made him starve.)" Bachiko thought angered as she ate her breakfast.

"Hell Gray Tea." Opera offered to Iruma as the menacing, purple-colored aura coming out of the liquid.

"Thank you, I'll try it." Iruma takes the tea and drinks it.

"So, Iruma, how are you feeling about your first day in class." Bachiko asked.

She got her answer when Iruma gasp and spit-spraying the demonic tea from his mouth.

Indeed, Iruma is now officially attending the prestigious known as Babyls, as Sullivan's grandson and Bachiko's son.

"(Do I have to go?)" Iruma thought worried.

"Hey, Iruma." Bachiko said getting his attention.

"Remember what I told you, some of the demons have human appearance, so you'll blend in fine." Bachiko reminded before drinking her tea.

"I know, but…" Iruma gulped, worry that he'll get find out and be turn into a snack.

"I think you need some cheering up. Opera?" Sullivan looked to the servant.

"Right." Opera snapped his finger and a bunch of stuff appeared from under a cloak.

"Lookie here, I splurged all this to celebrating starting your new school." Sullivan said cheerfully.

"This is all for me?" Iruma asked, Sullivan nods for yes.

"But you already gave him so much yesterday." Bachiko pointed out.

"Oh, that was just to celebrating getting my first grandson. This is celebrated him starting school." Sullivan explained.

"Helicopter parent!" Iruma and Bachiko gasped, even though the latter has no idea what a helicopter is.

"Ta-da! Opera and I even added some extra embroidery. What do you think?" Sullivan asked.

"It's beautiful, thanks." Iruma said feeling the pressure of be spoiled.

"Lord Sullivan, your fingers." Bachiko realized seeing the wrapped bandages on Sullivan's fingers.

"I'm not used to doing embroidery, it was hard, but it was so much fun." Sullivan smiled.

Irum is shocked that his adopted grandfather would go out of his way to make a simple handkerchief with his own two hands just for him.

"And this. Here's your Hellraiser Clock, so you can in the morning and be on time." Sullivan showed him the yellow demon-bird clock as it screeches loud.

"Iruma, what you wanted to talk to him about school. I think you should just accept this." Bachiko whispered to him.

"Oh, huh, I… I can't wait for school." Iruma exclaimed as he is unable to deny going to school because of the gifts Sullivan got him and his mother's advice.

Now Iruma is standing in front of the gate to his mansion home with Sullivan, Bachiko and Opera also outside to watch him leave.

"Okay, I'm going now. See ya." Iruma waved goodbye as he walks away.

"Bye, Iruma!" Sullivan said cheerfully.

"Take care, Iruma." Bachiko said.

"Now we tail him, I have to get his first walk to school on video." Sullivan holds up a camera about to follow Iruma until Opera grabs him by the fur collar.

"I'm afraid you'll be working from home today, sir." Opera dragged Sullivan back to the house as the lord tries to break free.

"Well, might as well watch some Dev-TV." Bachiko said.

"Actually, Bachiko. I have a special job for you." Sullivan mentioned getting her attention.

(Babysl Front Gate)

Iruma is walking to the school and flinch when he heard the students flying above him singing the school's song, he also saw the students wearing the black and red clothing from yesterday thinking they could be from this school's student council.

"(Okay, just got to stay calm and not stand out.)" Iruma thought determined.

"Hello and good morning, Iruma! I've been waiting for you for 6 hours and 6 minutes." Alice greeted joyfully.

"Oh, hey there, good morning, Asmodeus-Wait! 6 hours!" Iruma gasped.

"Yes, indeed, sir. Within the pitch black of the witching hour." Alice answered with a bow.

"There's no need for you to do things like that, Asmodeus. Seriously!" Iruma stated.

"Oh, is that so? And please just call me Aiz, let's skip the formality." Alice insisted.

"Aiz, okay." Iruma surprised.

"Yes, may I carry your bag?" Alice offered to carry his school bag.

"Uh, you don't have to do that." Iruma turned down, then heard some students talking about him as the honor student and made Alice, the Head of the Class, his servant.

Iruma and Alice are seen walking in the hallways together as the blue hair boy groans that he couldn't stop standing out now.

"So, can you tell me where were going again?" Iruma asked.

"Well, first of all, master, you and I are in the same group." Alice said.

"Really, we are?" Iruma asked.

"That's right, they'll divided the 163 new students into a certain number of groups and will practice and prepare until classes begin. It just can't happen all at once." Alice explained as Iruma starts to understand.

"Today will be holding the Familiar Summoning, and now to the Familiar Vault." Alice mentioned as he and Iruma are walking outside and heading to a building.

"Familiars?" Iruma wondered.

"It's a tradition here in Babysl, after entering the school each student summons a magical beast and makes it their subordinate." Alice explained.

"And that makes it their Familiar?" Iruma asked.

"The students rank will be determined on according to whatever magical beast they are able to summon. Climbing those ranks leads to academic success here, the higher they climb, the better they do." Alice explained more.

"Oh, I get it. That's so cool!" Iruma interested.

"(Although, I wonder if summons also eat humans?)" Iruma thought worried.

The two have enter the large room with the new first-year students who are also here to summon their own familiar.

"Wow, this is sort of nerve wracking." Iruma admitted.

"These results will also determine what classes the school places you in." Alice mentioned.

"That's good to know." Iruma nodded and looks around, then saw a familiar face.

"Hey, it's her." Iruma spotted one female demon student.

"Who, master?" Alice asked.

"The girl I saved from our duel. Mom said I should make sure she's okay from yesterday." Iruma explained.

"Oh yes, I almost killed her with my flaming sword. I should apologize to her as well." Alice said.

"Hi there." Iruma called out getting the girl's attention.

"Oh my Devil, it's Iruma!" The girl gasped.

"I just wanted to see if you're okay, almost getting hurt from the duel yesterday." Iruma said.

"Oh, huh, thank you for your concern. M-My name is Eiko Oni." Eiko introduced herself stutter.

Eiko is a female student wearing the typical female student uniform with no discernible changes. This includes the typical blouse and a pink capulet, with a pink skirt and red bow with a cat-eye clasp at her neck. She has long, somewhat frizzy blonde hair which is not tied back. She has uneven bangs framing her face. She has two black, bull-like horns on either side of her head and pointed demon ears. She has large, round, yellow eyes and short, red-painted nails.

"Nice to meet you, and Aiz here has something to say." Iruma gestured to Alice.

"I apologize for charging at you like that." Alice apologized with a bow.

"Oh no, it wasn't your fault. It just the heated moment of the battle." Eiko said thinking it was.

"In any case, I think we can get along. I'm Gaako, by the way." Gaako greeted.

"Nice to meet you." Iruma greeted.

The door slams open making all the students look to see a demon-man walking in with a fierce-serious look in his eyes.

"(I'm guessing he's going to overlook the ritual.)" Iruma thought guessed.

"Silence." He said walking until he stops and look at the students.

"I am Naberius Kalego and I will be your advisor." Kalego introduced himself.

"I am the sol permit leader of this ritual, and why? Because I maintain dignity at all times. I will decide whether your disposable trash or very useful trash, but trash either way." Kalego said walking up to Iruma.

"For example… if trash use the spotlight his grandfather gave him to chant a forbidden spell, and then had the audacity to cause a huge uproar right afterward on the same day. That'd be immediate grounds for expulsion." Kalego glared demonically at Iruma.

"Hey, quit scaring the new kids and let's get on with the ritual." Bachiko said.

"Mom! What are you doing here?" Iruma asked shock.

"Apparently, your grandfather gave me the job as security guard of the school, and as a way for mother and son to spend more time together." Bachiko explained.

"Oh, that sounds like him." Iruma chuckled.

"Be as it way, I will instantly and personally expel any failure. So, let this be a warning." Kalego warned getting the students intense.

"Be silent." Kalego said as he holds up a cute pink frame with a magical screen showing a pink talking heart.

"The Familiar Summoning Course, it's super easy, watch!" The cute heart thing said as Kalego gets irritated. "1. Draw a circle in blood on a parchment. 2. Head into the magic circle with that parchment. 3. Hold the parchment right above the candle in the circle center. 4. The smoke will set to take down and your familiar will appear. Okay, now we're all going to"

Kalego smashes it on the floor before it could finish speaking.

"That's enough." Kalego said as some of the students comment on how he didn't like the cute lesson guide.

"It is imperative you only use the parchment with my seal on it. I can tell immediately if it's a fake." Kalego said.

"Uh, excuse me, is this going to be dangerous?" Gaako asked.

"Dumb question. You will be summoning a subordinate and making it serve you. That's exactly what familiars are, and should a familiar ever disobey its master…" Kalego crushed his hands on the pink frame making a cracked hole through it.

"There will be punishment, that's how deep the blood pack between you is. Make sure you lots are suitably prepare." Kalego walked past Iruma making him feel scared.

"Line up in an orderly fashion." Kalego yelled.

"That man doesn't even try to hide his animosity." Alice pointed out.

"Kalego has always been the one to get things seriously by the book and won't even hesitate to kill anyone who would even to cross him." Bachiko mentioned.

"Hope I'll get through this." Iruma said.

"I'll gladly charge him if you give me the order." Alice volunteered to teach Kalego a lesson.

"Don't worry about it, I would never ask you to do that for me." Iruma quickly turned the offer down.

"Oh, very well." Alice sighed.

"I'm sure everything will be okay, Iruma. Even weak summons can still be a passing grade." Eiko hoped she's right.

"Thanks, I guess." Iruma said.

"And you better make sure you not to look like a fool. As my son, I won't tolerate humiliation in the Barbatos clan." Bachiko scoled.

"Yes, mom." Iruma nodded.

The Familiar Summoning Ritual has started with each student getting their own magical beast, like Eiko having a cute blue fox-like creature with a misty body, and Iruma watches them in amazement of how cool these Familiars are. And soon saw Alice having his turn, the familiar he summoned from the smoke came in the form of an elegant yet fierce snake creature with horns and wings along with a fiery tail.

"See, Master!" Alice smiled.

"That was totally incredible! You're both so cool!" Iruma complimented.

"Your kindness humbles us." Alice and his Familiar bowed.

"(A gorgon snake, I guess I'm not surprise consider his lineage.)" Kalego thought while a floating paper is written by a floating pen.

"But this will look like a puppy compared to the familiar you're about to summon." Alice proclaimed.

"Easy there, fire boy. You should hold the cheering until after." Bachiko stated as Iruma agrees.

"You're next, Iruma." Kalego called out.

"Yes, sir." Iruma responded fast and made his way to the circle with the parchment.

"(Damn it, I should have realized that humans don't have magical powers. I hope Iruma will be okay.)" Bachiko thought worried, then notice Iruma smiling and figured out what.

"Iruma! Don't screw this up or else you're ground for eternity!" Bachiko screamed.

"Yes, mom!" Iruma flinched.

Meanwhile, Kalego continue glaring at Iruma because he embodies the three things he full despises, and he is just like the dumbass Chair-Demon as Kalego hates that old bastard for the things to he did. Like Sullivan docked his pay, forced the cute lesson guide on him, and crashed the ceremony.

"(I know that look, Kalego. You want to expel Iruma if he screws up. Don't think I won't hesitate to shoot an arrow up your ass.)" Bachiko thought angered.

Summoning: The ritual which demons summon magical beasts and make them their familiar. It is also the ritual in which humans summon demons and make them their familiar.

When Iruma place the parchment over the candle as it burns, the magical burst of energy erupts shocking him and the others.

Ironically, the parchment had Kalego's seal on it and Iruma is a human which means…

Then a dark purple flame-like smoke appeared in front of Iruma.

"There it is…" Iruma shocked.

"Could that really be his familiar?" Bachiko asked shock.

To everyone's surprise, it is the upper half body of Kalego while his lower half is still at the spot where he stands with the summoning portal and they both became shocked.

Which means, much to his rage and horror, the demon Kalego was summoned by the human Iruma to be his familiar.

"You bumbling idiot! What the Hell did you do?" Kalego asked angry.

"I really don't know, I'm sorry sir." Iruma apologized.

"Enough! Stop the summoning right now!" Kalego demanded.

Iruma tried pulling him back by the legs but Kalego yelled about he could rip them off and push instead, which Iruma did though he didn't go for the head as he pushed the legs through the portal and when Kalego went fully through a puff of smoke formed around him. Transforming him into a small white creature resembling an owl chick, about the size of a grapefruit, with small black, bat-like wings, black, horn-like tufts, and Kalego's distinctive front hair curl.

Kalego look at himself for a few seconds and then fell on the floor in completely despair.

"OH NO!" Iruma screamed.

"Whoa, that happened…" Bachiko surprised, not sure what else to say.

"Mom, is he still our Professor?" Iruma asked.

"Iruma, I am moved beyond words!" Alice cried shocking Iruma.

"Miraculous, you managed to make Kalego your familiar!" Alice bowed in the greatness of Iruma as the other students are shocked.

"Amazing!" Eiko smiled.

"Kalego's attitude toward you was so hostile, I knew you were secretly in rage. This will show him good." Alice believed.

"Yeah, I bet this will make him change his way." Bachiko chuckled.

"Mom, don't! You know I didn't mean to." Iruma panicked.

"R-Ridiculous… Me, me, a common familiar!" Kalego angered with his small body becoming scarer now.

"You cannot he serious! Nullify this contract immediately, you won't like the alternative." Kalego threatened and suddenly, he got struck by red lightning that came out of nowhere.

"And that Iruma is the punishment for the Familiar that tries to go against the summoner." Bachiko explained as Iruma is shaking in fear that he is standing out more now.

"Yet again I am slain!" Alice cried.

"But why though?" Iruma asked.

"One more thing I should warn you about. Forcing the ritual to be undone will kill you both as this locked you two in for a year." Bachiko mentioned causing Iruma to scream in shock.

"But mom, there must something!" Iruma begged.

"A demon summons another demon as a familiar is unheard of, and since you're human I think this kind of thing is natural. I think." Bachiko said.

"You think?!" Iruma gasped.

Unable to nullify the contact. Iruma Barbatos, age 14, acquired a familiar on his first day of school. Kalego ended bedridden from the shock and Iruma's rank was never determined. As a result, Iruma's notoriety spread even further as he became known as "The Demon who made another Demon his familiar."

"What am I going to do now?" Iruma worried.

"No idea." Bachiko shrugged.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Once again, Iruma has made himself known again to the entire school as he made his first summoning with Kalego as his familiar in an unexpected way. I decided to have Iruma talk to Eiko because I think she at least deserves a little moment with him and have Bachiko works at Babysl as a security guard by Sullivan himself.
