Demon King Prophecy and Dark Hungry Ring
(Couple of Years Ago)
Bachiko is seen walking through the streets of the demonic city looking angry about something that had happened to her yet again.
"Damn it, who does that idiot think he is… quitting on me too soon when the Harvest Festival was about to begin. Idiot!" Bachiko angered that another student has decided to quit on her.
Barbatos Bachiko is task with training first-year students for one of hardest events in the school and planned on showing them the art of archery, and dedication of hard work. But every student she trained every year would always quit few days later, complaining that it was too hard and not worth the effort which upsets her a lot.
"All I wanted was to teach him something amazing that could have made him a greater demon." Bachiko kicked a trashcan down.
But that kick has caused the lid to bounce off to a little demon girl holding a double scoop of ice-cream, the ice-creams were knocked down onto the ground and the little girl starts crying for her sweet being ruined.
Bachiko just looks at the little demon girl wanting to pretend nothing happened and walked away, but she could as the guilt within her wouldn't allow this sadness to go on and worry for the child might go negative through her life as well.
"That girl didn't deserve that." Bachiko decided on what need to be done right now.
The little demon girl cry some more fearing that her mommy would never get her another scoop of ice-cream when she said just one.
"Here." Bachiko held a triple scoop of ice-cream to the little demon girl getting her attention.
"I'm sorry for knocking down your ice-cream." Bachiko apologized with her usual firm look.
"Thank you." The little demon girl thanked and took the ice-cream.
"Hi sweetie, I'm here." The mother demon walked up to the girl.
"Mommy, my ice-cream was knocked down and this lady got me new scoops." The little demon girl explained.
"Really, that's very nice of you." The mother demon smiled.
"Shut up, I just didn't want the kid to look down around me." Bachiko said looking away.
"Well, I say you did quite well like a mother would do for her child." The mother demon stated.
"As if I would be one, so much waste of time." Bachiko brushed off the idea of being a mommy for a whiny baby.
"You may never know until you try." The mother demon said as she and her daughter walk away.
"Bye-bye, pink lady." The little demon girl waved goodbye.
"Just because I'm losing students doesn't mean I'm desperate to have a kid of my own." Bachiko decided to walk back to her home.
What Bachiko didn't know at the time was that she was indeed going to become something she wasn't planning on for her life, but something she would start to enjoy.
(Present)
After everyone in the Misfit Class got their rank badges, Iruma was the last to get his ranking badge from the owl when suddenly it went crazy and flew away giving Iruma a golden ring for some reason.
"A ring, but why would the Rank Owl give Iruma that instead of a badge?" Bachiko wondered.
Sabro on the other hand seem to be quite shocked of seeing that golden ring which reminds him of something he learned from his father long ago.
"The Demon King Prophecy Scroll?" Sabro started to remember that day about an important prophecy.
(Flashback)
The scene shows Sabro as a little boy sitting with his father in the library of their home and looking at an old looking scrolld.
"Hear me, son. The Demon King's throne is currently empty, but the scroll will clearly predict the next Demon King with absolute certainty." Sabro's father believed strongly.
"What kind will it be?" Sabro asked.
"I'll read it from the beginning." Sabro's father smiled and the son nods.
"He shall make one and all, his loyal servants. He shall form blood packs and heal all wounds to demon kind. He shall descend from a foreign land and wear the sacred golden ring of Solomon on his right hand." The father read the prophecy scroll.
Little Sabro became amaze of this wondering if something like that will happen to him someday.
(Flashback End)
Sabro look at the golden ring that is one Iruma's right hand and remembering the prophecy.
"I knew it! The golden sign of the Demon King, the Ring of Solomon!" Sabro shocked.
"Ring of Solomon? Does he mean the Demon King Prophecy?" Bachiko shocked of hearing that just now.
Iruma look at the ring as he isn't sure if this is something that is a special case here in the demon school or something new and unexpected, maybe he'll ask his mom if she knows something as he tries to pull the ring off only it won't come off like it's really stuck on his finger.
"What? Why won't it come off?" Iruma confused.
"Little help here." Iruma begged.
"Iruma, it looks like that ring came with something extra." Bachiko alerted her adopted son.
Iruma look at the ring again seeing something strange like a black thing sticking out of the ring and trace to where the rest of that is, then found what appears to be a small shadow shaped like a miasma ghost.
"AAAAHH?!" Iruma screamed, panicking of the strange monster on his finger.
"You have to calm down, Iruma sir!" Alice advised.
"What the Hell is this thing! Why is it on my finger!" Iruma wondered in fear.
"No, I must be mistaken, I never heard of a gold ring producing black flames like this." Sabro muttered to himself.
"(Then again, the scroll never mentions if the gold ring has any powers.)" Sabro thought.
"I don't want it! I don't want it!" Iruma runs around waving his right hand with the strange creature.
"Will you calm down!" Bachiko jumped at Iruma and stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
"Iruma, this is not the time to be freaking out like a little baby! We have to be calm and figure this out." Bachiko stated.
The black creature goes up in the air a little and let out a powerful screeching roar that is hurting everyone's ear.
"What the actual Hell!" Shax groaned.
"It's like the worse death scream in the history of ever!" Gaap commented.
"Ow, my ears!" Jazz whined in pained.
And it isn't just the Misfit Class that is suffering from the scream, the loud screaming from the black creature of the ring has reached all the way to Babylus as all the students and teachers are suffering the same pain except for Sullivan and Opera who aren't bother by that scream though curious.
"Hey, are you guys alright?" Iruma asked.
"How are you not being affective by this?" Shax asked.
"Huh, I don't know." Iruma said being confused as well.
"It's because you're the bearer." Bachiko said covering her ears too.
"Mom, I'm so sorry! I don't know why this is happening!" Iruma apologized.
"It's fine, my son. Just listen, since you're wearing the ring, it must mean you won't be harm from whatever it's doing right now." Bachiko explained.
"Oh, I guess that would make sense." Iruma said understanding this.
"So, try calming the thing down as you're the master." Bachiko advised.
"Okay, the first thing to do is…" Iruma had no idea on how to calm down a black creature as he is still new to all this demon world stuff, but this does remind him of one of his old jobs back in the human world.
"Okay, to make it stop screaming, do this." Iruma hold the black creature in his arms and rock around a bit like he's carrying a baby.
"Are you kidding me?!" Bachiko gasped.
"NO! Just cover it's freaking mouth!" Shax said.
"Oh, lullaby song!" Clara got the idea and know just what to do.
"It's sleepy, sleepy, sleepy time! Please go back to sleep! Once you're roll into bed, you'll never wake up again!" Clara sang the lullaby song that is use in her family, and her singing is too high and off tone.
"You're making it worse!" Alice stated.
"Pretty sure that's supposed to be low." Bachiko grinded her teeth.
"Shut her up too!" Shax cried from all this noise hurting his ear even more.
"No wait, it seems to like that. Look at it go." Jazz pointed at the black creature happily dancing to the song.
"Huh, maybe you were onto something." Bachiko surprised.
"Oh, do you think it want some candy?" Gaap wondered as he holds two bars of candy and Shax wants to get a picture of this.
"Quit enjoying this, you morons!" Kalego shouted in rage.
"Stop, I'll take care of this." Sabro decided to help deal with the problem with his own two hands.
"Just remember that his mom is here. Do anything to hurt Iruma and you'll find hundreds of arrows up on your ass." Elizabetta warned.
"I'm sure she wouldn't do something that extreme." Kerori proclaimed.
"No, I would definitely do what she just said." Bachiko said without any hesitation in her voice, shocking the shy girl.
"Stand back, you shouldn't get too close." Irima concerned for Sabro.
"Fear not, my star worth rival, I will easily pull out this black smoke and" Sabro never finish his sentence because when the black creature touch his face, the tall demon young man fell on his knees looking very pale.
"Sabnock, no!" Iruma gasped and Sabro completely fell onto the ground.
"Guess he was a wipe to this little guy." Bachiko mocked.
"This is NOT the time to be making fun of others!" Iruma said.
"Leave this to me, Master Iruma." Alice grinned, now stepping in to please his master more by getting rid of this creature.
But the moment it touches his face and chomp him, the fire demon Alice Asmodeus too fell weaken and defeated just like Sabro.
"Déjà vu!" Iruma screamed.
"Are you alright?" Iruma asked.
"Hmm, it looks like this thing can drain magic power." Bachiko figured out.
"Please do not worry yourself for I have barely felt a nipple." Alice tried to act tough, but he coughs a little blood and the black creature bites on him again.
"That looks like more than a nipple." Iruma said.
"Iruma, I'm going to try something. Hold up your right arm." Bachiko said as she held out two magic arrows she just created and throw them to the black creature which took them absorbs them into its body.
"Well, that's something." Bachiko surprised a bit.
"Iruma, let me get a closer look at it." Kalego wanted to see what this thing is exactly.
But the moment he put his hand on Iruma's left shoulder, his left arm suddenly vanished in an instant making him shock and the creature was staring at him coldly as it almost spoke his name.
"Professor, is everything alright?" Iruma asked seeing that the professor is staring off into space.
Kalego saw his arm is alright and wasn't cut off at all, he touches it to make sure it is real and look back at the black creature.
"(An illusion? No, it's threatening me.)" Kalego thought realized that this creature is dangerous and decided to do something about it.
"Kalego, you better not be thinking about doing something like blowing my son's arm off." Bachiko stepped in front of Iruma as he gasp of what she just said.
"I'm sure you understand this problem must be dealt with swiftly." Kalego glared at the pink short woman.
"Then you're going to lose your arm for that." Bachiko glared back.
"Now, now, teachers shouldn't fight amongst each other nor doing harm to their own students." Sullivan pointed as he suddenly appears with everyone.
"Lord Sullivan!" Bachiko gasped.
"Chair-Demon!" Kalego shocked.
"Grandpa!" Iruma surprised.
"Hello, your grandpa is here. And nice to see you're here for extra support, Bachiko." Sullivan waved at them cheerfully.
"And it's a good thing Bachiko, you naughty Kalego. In no way I'm going to let you blow up Iruma's arm off." Sullivan slightly glared at Kalego.
"Ah! So, he really was going to do it?!" Iruma freaked out a bit.
"You were going to do what to him?!" Alice shocked to hear such a thing.
"What? I thought the other students might be in danger." Kalego said.
"Tell that to your "Don't care face", idiot." Bachiko rolled her eyes.
"Haste make waste! I was straddle by the noise and came over to check it out." Sullivan explained.
The black creature sees Sullivan with the primal instinct to attack the old man and take his magic power, it moves toward him and grew in size to consume Sullivan.
"Look out!" Iruma warned.
However, Sullivan isn't worry about the black creature as it moves closer to him instantly knowing that it's about to do to him and held out his left hand and place it right onto the black creature making it bloat up like a balloon o something expanding like a balloon.
"Here you go, eat up. Enjoy your meal." Sullivan said to the black creature.
After a little moment of feeding the black creature, it shrunk down and suck itself back into the golden ring.
"It went back in?" Iruma surprised.
"Must be because Lord Sullivan's magic was more than it could handle." Bachiko figured, not much of a surprise.
"You see, my boy, your ring is called the Gluttonous Feeder Ring." Sullivan revealed.
"Gluttonous Feeder Ring?" Iruma confused.
"It's a magical piece that store the wearer's powers, but as an emptiness it'll try to feed others available close by." Sullivan explained.
"Oh, so that's why it was going on a little rampage because it was hungry." Bachiko realized.
"So, now it'll be harmless as long as we keep feeding it enough magic power." Bachiko stated with the Chair-Demon.
"That's right." Sullivan nodded.
"He still has that much magical power after letting the little one eats so much? Chair-Demon Sullivan is a force to be reckon with!" Alice amazed of the old demon.
"But now we won't be able to rank the boy!" Kalego pointed out, but everyone ignores him.
"By the way, once you put it on, you're stuck with it for life." Sullivan informed causing Iruma to gasp.
"Sometimes, our little Rank Owl has surprises in its pocket. When you live a millennium, you witness a few oddness." Sullivan chuckled.
"How can you brush it off so easily?!" Iruma asked.
"Try not to forget, you are human." Bachiko whispered to Iruma, then notice his left hand.
"Iruma, what happened to your hand?" Bachiko asked.
"Oh, I'll tell you about it later." Iruma said.
"Now, everyone say Devi!" Sullivan and everyone posed for the class picture.
With all that said and done, Iruma's class first task was complete.
(Sullivan Home)
Iruma is sitting on the couch with Bachiko and Sullivan while Opera is serving the tea.
"So, about that hand of yours!" Bachiko asked.
"Well, I cut myself to show the child of Cutthroat Valley's Guardian. It was hurt pretty badly hurt on the leg, so I wanted help it by wrapping some cloth on it but then a drop from my blood went in and heal the injury like magic." Iruma explained causing Bachiko's eyes widen of shock.
"I can see why humans are valuable even though the other demons believe humans being a myth." Iruma looked at his hand.
"Iruma, got to your room and see if that hand of yours is healed. We'll call you for dinner." Bachiko ordered.
Iruma did that and walk out of the living room giving the parent and grandparent some alone time.
"Lord Sullivan, the Gluttonous ring, Iruma's blood healing a demon, those are the signs of the Demon King prophecy scroll and please, give me a straight answer." Bachiko said with a firm look.
"To be honest, I knew full well about the prophecy scroll except I never expected Iruma to fit into that when I first met him." Sullivan said as he stands up and look out the window.
"But it would seem fate has definitely brought Iruma here to be something more than what he is now." Sullivan believed.
"As in him mostly possibly becoming… the next Demon King!" Bachiko realized shock.
The next day, Iruma learned of his rank to be Aleph which he believes to be good news that this could help him lay low, but he would soon find out that his low rank may make him stand out more.
