Chapter Ten: Instability

A soft voice whispered out, "Me," but it was loud enough for Tsunade to realize that there was possibly a survivor. Jiraiya stepped down the damaged stairs, cautiously. There was an unbearable stench in the air, and he covered his nose.

Tsunade waved the flashlight back and forth then her eyes widened when she saw a disheveled young boy there. On his side, there lied another body, a woman, dead. Carefully, she and her partner scouted the area and determined it was safe. Tsunade rushed to the little boy who was chained to the ground.

"You're a very brave boy," She said softly. "Are you hurt?" When asking those words, his eyes watered, and he nodded. "Get a bus." Tsunade called out to Jiraiya once she noticed a stab wound just under his belly button. "He has a stab wound." She turned her focus to the boy once more and wiped his tears away. "It's okay."

Suddenly, Jiraiya's raised his eye brow when he heard the youngster asked, "Where's Kurama-nii?"

Kurama was a young forensic pathologist who was also a serial killer that claimed the lives of many people not only in Suna but Konoha as well. They received a tip from Kurama himself and he even pinpointed missing body parts the police had been searching for. It was shocking at first as there was no evidence pointed towards the red hair man, but they took the necessary precautions and sure enough, it was true.

"I want Kurama-nii," He whispered softly as his eyes watch Tsunade try to free him from the shackles that penetrated deep within his skin. "Is he coming to get me?"

Tsunade smiled softly. "What's your name little guy?"

"Naruto. I'm named after a fish."

Hearing that, Tsunade couldn't help but burst into soft giggles. "Uzumaki Naruto,"

Naruto nodded his head eagerly and that made Tsunade smile. "Ramen is my favorite meal. At first, I didn't like those icky pink swirls, but they taste really good!"

"Tsunade," Jiraiya called out. "The ambulance is here."

She nodded and then faced Naruto. "Naruto, we're going to treat your wounds, okay?"

"Will Kurama-nii be there?"

"No, he won't." Tsunade said, picking him up. Surprisingly, the boy was quite light for his age and she was afraid to hold him tightly. Just one squeeze probably would have made the bones in his body shatter.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Tsunade,"

Naruto hummed before he rested his head on her shoulder. "I'm tired, Tsunade." His eyes fluttered and his breathing was shallow. "Very tired."

(2 Days Later)

Tsunade stood outside the door with her partner Jiraiya. The man handed her a cup of hazel nut coffee and she nodded as thanks.

"I can't imagine what those poor children had to endure during their years with that man." Jiraiya said, taking a sip of the coffee. "As a woman, you'd think she would have reported the ongoing abuse with her and the children."

Tsunade closed her eyes and allow the fresh scent of the coffee to travel up her nose. "It's easier said than done, Jiraiya. You know this better than anyone."

"I know," He sighed, "but nothing ever good comes out of it and now we have children who died and a serial killer parading around."

"We will catch him," Tsunade said, squeezing the cup. Looking from the outside, it looked like your average house. Green grass, fresh flowers lined the walls of the house, and there was even a swing that hanged from the tree's branch.

The neighbors describe them as loving and daunting people and didn't know anything troubling was going on in the home. Some did mention they heard screams, but they figured it was the children messing around since there was so many of them.

They said Hana was a nice woman who would sometimes visit the older neighbors to help them with their meals or tidying the house. She would sometimes bring one or two of the kids to keep the seniors' company, but they didn't expect there was any abuse going on in the home.

The children looked well-fed and in good shape, but they did notice the children didn't come outside to play as much and even the youngest one, Akari was pulled from school.

That's when they started investigating at the school. Some teachers found the children to be normal, but there were a few occasions where they discovered bruises and split lips on some of the children. Roshi, the oldest, was good at lying and was able to make up excuses as to what happened.

Then it was also discovered that some of the female teachers kept things under wrap as they were having an affair with the married pathologist.

One teacher, who taught Naruto, pulled some old drawings and turned it over to the SVU department when they came searching for clues. They reviewed the grizzly pictures of blood and body parts that was drawn by the young boy and Tsunade was disappointed that the teacher did not turn these in to the principal.

"Hana said he was a forensic pathologist and he sometimes took the boy to work with him."

Tsunade gulped down the coffee that had turned lukewarm before she stepped into the hospital room. Naruto was up watching a television show and his ears perked up when he heard someone entering the room.

"Tsunade!" He rushed off the bed and ran up to the woman, excited.

"Now Naruto, you need to be careful. You don't want your stitches to pop." Tsunade picked him up gently and placed him on the edge of the bed. "Oh my, you're getting heavy."

"They've been feeding me, and I've even had three popsicles today," He grinned. "I think they like me."

"Who wouldn't?" Tsunade smiled. "You're so strong and brave despite everything you've been through."

Naruto cocked his head to the side and then he smiled. "What's the matter?"

"Well, your siblings and adopted mother," She paused as she tried to form the right sentence, "you understood what happened to them, right?"

"They're dead." His expression didn't change and Tsunade was taken back which Naruto noticed.

"They were very mean to me," He lowered his head. "Roshi made fun of me because of my hair and he always picked on me and Hana," He frowned, "I thought she was nice, but she hit me." He pointed to his cheek. "One day she slapped me so hard that my tooth popped out!" Naruto said, showing her the spot of his once missing tooth. "Luckily, it came back!"

"Oh no," Tsunade said. This was new to her and she always thought Hana did her best to protect the children.

Naruto nodded. "She didn't like me,"

"Do you remember what happened the day of the murders?" Tsunade said, taking a seat.

Naruto kicked his legs slowly and he lowered his head even more. "I don't want to talk about it," He mumbled.

"I understand," Tsunade responded. "I bet you were really scared, but don't worry. You're safe now."

"Did you find Kurama-nii? He said he would be back for me?" Naruto raised his head and his eyes sparkled in delight. "I miss him veery much!"

"Stockholm syndrome," Jiraiya said, approaching Tsunade. He had his arms crossed and he stared at Naruto who gazed at him.

"He looks like a perv," He whispered to Tsunade.

"I am not!" Jiraiya pointed to the boy who stuck his tongue at him. "You little brat!"

Naruto ignored the man's comment and turned his focus to Tsunade whose head was turned to Jiraiya. His eyes were intense as it focused on the side of her neck and he touched it which startled Tsunade.

"You have pretty skin," He smiled at the woman. She stood up and nodded. "Will you come back to play with me?"

"I will."

Naruto smiled sweetly and then pointed to Jiraiya. "But don't bring him."

Jiraiya fumed from the ears and he marched out of the room and Tsunade quickly followed behind him. An older nurse stepped to the side and she entered Naruto's room to give him his daily medications.

"He has taken a liking to you," He crossed his arms.

"He has, and he isn't lying about you being a perv," She grinned.

Jiraiya rolled his eyes then straightened his posture. "The boy is a little perky after witnessing all those deaths."

"He's a strange fellow, but he did shut down when I tried to ask him about that day." Tsunade replied, leaning against the wall. "And why does he keep asking for that monster? Did he hypnotize him or something?"

Jiraiya hummed as a response. "It's a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome. That poor boy doesn't realize that he's better off without that man."

"It infuriates me just thinking about it. Those children were left there for some time, abused and tortured, Jiraiya. Did the neighbors really didn't know what was going on?"

He shook his head. "At least we know who we're looking for after all these years."

"I just find it strange after all this time he would willingly confess." Tsunade grumbled. "The boy needs serious help and probably years of therapy sessions before he's back to normal."

"Sometimes, I hate this job." Jiraiya grimaced.

"I feel the-

A piercing scream caught their attention and a group of nurses and doctors rushed into room 301, Naruto's room.

Tsunade glimpsed at Jiraiya and they raced into the room. Four nurses were trying to subdue that boy who was screaming and throwing a temper tantrum. Tsunade was bewildered as he was fine just a few minutes ago.

She approached the older nurse and glared at her. "What did you do?"

The nurse, Mikasa, held her hands up in defense. "I didn't do anything! He kept asking about Kurama and I told him he would never see him again. I swear!"

Naruto tossed and turned on the bed and he screamed bloody murder. "I want Kurama-nii!" The tears he shed was enough to fill an entire community's pool. His chest raised up and down and he felt himself choking on the hot tears. "Kurama-nii!" He broke down.

One nurse grabbed a needle while the other struggled to flip him over. She stabbed the lengthy needle into his buttocks and not even a second later, the blonde boy had fell asleep.

"He tore open his stiches." One nurse mentioned when she saw the blood seeped through his hospital gown.

"The kid needs help, ASAP," Tsunade mumbled before she left the room.

The following weeks had past, and Naruto was in a well-known children's center in Suna. He was a ball of energy despite his tantrums and some of the members had taken a liking to him. They were trained not to answer his questions about Kurama and every once in a while a member would say the wrong thing and that made Naruto go into a terrible rage.

The therapy sessions were going alright, although there was still room for improvements and there was finally a diagnosis. Naruto was indeed suffering from Stockholm syndrome as well as separation anxiety. It was common for children and even adults who had been held hostage for so long to go through this. With the right help, Naruto had a chance to return to his normal self.

Tsunade had kept her promise and spent time with the boy as a part of her assignment. She was careful not to bring up Kurama's whereabouts as the therapist warned her. Naruto still shut down when she tried to bring up that day and no matter how much she tried to pry the information from him, he wouldn't budge.

The therapist believed Naruto was coaxed and tortured not to say anything.

"Your bruises are healing," Tsunade said, sitting on the tiny orange chair.

Naruto was scribbling on a piece of paper with some crayons and Tsunade watched him. "You're very talented."

"Tsunade, when can I leave?" He said, still focusing on the drawing.

"When you're all better. There are still somethings you need to work on." She said, grabbing a blue crayon and began doodling on a separate paper.

Naruto didn't say a word as he continued to color all over the paper. "Kurama-nii hates me, huh? Is that why he didn't take me?"

"Are you liking it here so far?" Tsunade asked, ignoring his questions.

"Kids are always screaming and crying! They make my ears hurt," He said, holding his ears.

She smiled and nodded. "Once you get better than you'll be able to leave."

"If Kurama doesn't come for me, will you?" Tsunade stopped scribbling and she gazed at Naruto who was back to doodling.

"What are you drawing?" She asked, trying to take a peek at it.

Naruto held the drawing up and Tsunade's heart skipped a beat when she saw a chilling drawing of body parts lying throughout a grassy field and Kurama and him standing in the middle.

"Can I have that picture?"

Naruto nodded and he handed it to her. "I'm hungry." He said, holding his stomach.

Tsunade examined the picture then she looked at Naruto. "Why don't you go to the cafeteria? I'll meet you there shortly."

"Hai, hai!" Naruto sang as he jumped from the chair and raced out the room.

"This is normal. With the proper treatment, we can try to fix him," The therapist said, approaching Tsunade. "He's been drawing these things and I believe it is his way of communicating with us."

She felt her shoulders relaxed and she nodded. "I know."

"Tsunade," He warned, "you must not mix your personal feelings and work. Keep your emotions separated or else you're going to be paying a hefty price."

"I know," She mumbled.

Naruto sat in the recreation center watching the latest Shin Chan episode. He laughed a little before he chewed on the apple bites that was given to him by a employee named Yumi. His eyes never left the television screen, and the other kids didn't catch his attention who ran back and forth with one another in a game of tag.

With his eyes stilled glued to the television, he reached out for another apple slice when he felt someone watching him. He had picked up that there was always someone watching from the distance, but this one felt eerie.

The other kids stopped playing and he noticed how they quickly left the room in fear. It tickled him slightly, and he turned his head to the side and saw a young red hair boy who held a tarnish teddy bear glare at him.

His eyes were lifeless and so was his expression. Naruto took one brief look at him before he grabbed his apple slice and went back to his favorite TV show. The young red hair child was a little surprise to see the little boy ignore him as this was the first for him.

Other children were afraid of him, and they had every right to be, and they always tried to stay away from the boy incase they angered him.

The boy continued to watch the blondie and he saw how his upper lip twitched slightly. "Sit down or fuck off."

That was unexpected. The blonde was known in this facility and he had heard the other employees talk about the blonde hair child who was a burst of energy. Even the other children seem to adore him, and he was always nice and gentle. He hadn't expected to hear a vulgar word slip from his innocent mouth.

Gaara, the red hair child, climbed the chair and rested his teddy bear on his right side. Naruto smiled brightly and he continued to watch the show.

"Would you like some apple bites?"

Gaara stared at the apple slice the boy held to him and took it. He glanced at the boy then back at the apple slice and he held it for the entire duration of the Shin Chan marathon. It was the first time someone had offered him a snack, and in a sense, he cherished it as a gift.

The sun was slowly setting, and it was almost time for dinner time. The night shift made their way in, and one of the employees stopped into the recreation room. She smiled softly when she saw a lump of blonde hair sitting on the sofa. As she carefully approached him, her eyes widened at the sight of red hair. It was Gaara.

Every employee knew of Gaara and his anger issue. The boy was quick to rage and was a sociopath. He enjoyed hurting people and he even said it was something that made him quite happy, he scared the other children in the facility and even she was afraid of him. She had never seen such an evil boy like him. Naomi was one to believe that everyone deserved a second chance, but not him. They should have killed him or lock him up for good.

She nearly yelped when she saw Gaara turn his head to glare at her.

"Uh, Gaara, Naruto it's dinner time. Why don't we wash up and head to the dining room?"

Naruto turned off the television and climbed off the sofa. He gave Gaara a quick look before he scurried off to Naomi and held her hand.

"What are we going to eat today, Naomi? I hope it's ramen."

"Surprisingly, you're right." Naomi smiled as she led Naruto away from Gaara.

Naruto smiled from ear to ear. "Can't wait."

Gaara slowly walked behind the two and he wrapped his arm around his teddy bear tightly. "N… Naruto." He muttered, softly.

Hearing someone say his name, he looked over his shoulder and saw the red hair boy slowly following behind them. He continued to walk down the hall and he stood in line with the other children.

Gaara stared at the back of his blonde hair then he looked down at the apple slice before an expressionless smile formed on his face.

.

.

.

It was early morning, and the team had taken some of the younger children outside to play. There were barely any clouds in the sky so hiding from the sun was fruitless. Naruto stooped under a tree and he played in the brown dirt.

He was drawing a picture of Kurama and he smiled at his work when he was done. It had been quite sometime since he was placed in this facility and he hated it. The children were demanding, and a bunch of sissies and the workers were annoying. Nothing at all. He wanted nothing more than to grab a knife from the kitchen and plunge it deep into the first person he saw. Kurama had warned him over and over, especially with the incident with Akari.

He had to learn how to swallow these feelings or else it was going to be a disaster. His eyes began to water as it was his fault why everything went to shit. If he had just listened to Kurama, this wouldn't have happened.

But it was Kurama's fault too! He slammed his hand on the picture and brushed it until it was gone. If he had just taken him when he had the chance, then they would be happy and enjoying the things they like to do. Now everything was just a ruse.

"N… Naruto,"

Annoyed, he glanced up and saw the red hair boy towering over him. He had deep eyebags as if he didn't sleep for ages and he was quite pale.

"Yes?"

Gaara was surprised by the response and he didn't really know what to say after that. He figured the boy would ignore him like everyone else.

Digging into his pocket, he showed Naruto the rotten apple slice that was given to him yesterday. Naruto stared, disgusted, at the decaying slice, and he frowned. That was nasty.

"Naruto, come play with us!" A little brown hair girl skipped merrily towards her favorite blonde hair person. Ignoring Gaara, she went to grab for Naruto until she was forcibly pushed to the floor and stumbled over a branch.

She had a little slice on her forearm, and even that was enough to get Naruto excited. The little girl sobbed as she watched the blood run down her ivory skin.

A little laughter escaped Gaara's lips when he saw how fearful the girl was. Naruto watched him, impress, then his eyes darted towards the workers who were in a circle smoking and chatting. Their backs were turned on the children and Naruto smiled.

Gaara saw how Naruto smiled at him and he was about to do something else to Mona, but the girl had run away, luckily, in time.

It was an unexpected friendship, and some of the employees were stunned to see the evil red hair child latch onto their precious blonde hair angel. Wherever Naruto was, Gaara was there. He didn't let the boy go unattended and would usually throw a rage when Naruto had his therapy sessions or bed time.

The therapist was skeptical about Gaara's behavior and being around Naruto did help a little, but they were afraid that other issues would arrive sooner than later.

Naruto dipped a piece of apple slice into a yogurt and chewed on it. Gaara placed his teddy bear by the wall and sat down next to Naruto to eat his apple wedges.

"Why do you carry a teddy bear around?"

"Mother left it for me."

"Is she dead?"

Gaara nodded.

"Did you kill her?" Naruto cocked his head to the side.

After a while, Gaara responded with another nod.

Without another word, the two ate the apple wedges outside the balcony.

"How long have you been here, Gaara?"

"A long time."

"Do you want to go home?" Naruto asked.

"Not anymore," He whispered. Now that he had find a purpose in life, besides hurting others, he didn't want to leave Naruto behind. He was his first and only friend.

"Do you like hurting other people?"

"Yes." Gaara said, plopping a piece of apple into his mouth.

Naruto hummed then he smiled. "So, do I. It just makes me feel good, but you mustn't tell anyone. It's a secret, okay?"

"I won't tell. I'm good at keeping secrets."

Naruto giggled childishly and he continued to chatter with Gaara. As he was talking to Gaara, he stopped momentarily when he saw one of the new therapists watching them from the distance. Gaara noticed Naruto had stopped talking, and he turned his head slightly to see someone standing by the door.

He smiled at them softly and Naruto ate the apple slice slowly. He got up after he was finish and turned to Gaara. "It's that time."

Gaara watched as his friend left with the older man and he stared blankly at the wall. He had remained that way until Naruto returned.

"Must you always leave me?" Gaara asked, innocently.

Naruto sat next to him and grinned. "It's not like you can follow me in there," He hummed.

Gaara squeezed the apple bits and it squished under his crush. "I guess not."

.

.

.

Naruto had a fun time with Gaara during his time there. He was a trusted friend who had the same feelings and urges he had, but Gaara had guts to do it without caring who was watching. Kurama had warned him time after time not to do anything that would jeopardize him, but Gaara got away with a lot. Naruto enjoyed watching Gaara hurt others and he would always be in the distance, giggling with excitement.

But one day, something serious happened which made Naruto realize that Kurama was right all along. It wasn't his fault, not this time. One of the children had anger Gaara. Naruto was unsure what transpired between the two, but Gaara's eyes were completely voided and emotionless. He was just down the hall from the incident, and his eyes couldn't open any bigger when he saw Gaara jumped on the other boy and slammed his head repeatedly against the wooden floor.

His pupils turned big, and he stood there like a statue. Blood splattered all over the floor and onto the wall and the kids were screaming uncontrollably. The workers rushed to the scene and they pulled the enrage devil off the child who was barely conscious.

Gaara was raging and Naruto covered his mouth as he tried to suppress his laughter. The workers tried to pull the kids away, and Gaara was pulled into a vacant room. Naruto's eye lit up as they frantically call 911 and try to keep the boy alive. It was funny. Everything about this incident was so funny to him. The more he looked at the boy and blood, the harder he had trying to contain his laughter.

One of the workers saw Naruto standing there, and she quickly grabbed him and tried to comfort him. "It's going to be okay."

Naruto's shoulders trembled and he lowered his head. Naomi believed he was having a meltdown and she quickly led him to the opposite side of the building.

Unknown to her, Naruto was grinning madly.

After a while, Gaara never returned to the facility and the teddy bear he had left behind stayed in Naruto's room. He waited and waited for his friend's return, but there was no sign. He'd asked Naomi and the other workers when Gaara would be back and then finally someone told him that "Gaara will never be back. He was taken to another facility to get the proper help he needed."

That left Naruto depress for some time, and he realized that Kurama was right. They took away people like them and lock them away for good. He was different and if everybody knew, then he would disappear just like they did Gaara.

The newest therapist noticed the mood change in Naruto's behavior ever since the incident, and he concluded: "Birds of a feather flock together." In fact, Naruto was quite persuasive, and a manipulator. He was always on the scene of the crime whenever any of the kids were hurt by Gaara and he wouldn't be surprised if Naruto was a sociopath.

Those diagnostics were possibly incorrect or not enough and with a little more test, maybe he would be correct. Everything was starting to make perfect sense now. Gaara's attachment to Naruto, and a spike of bullying and torturing kids. There was probably a complaint every so often about the boy, but ever since he attached himself to Naruto, Gaara's complaints were becoming drastic and more violent.

And the other question arises. Why did Kurama keep Naruto alive, but killed the others? Why were Akari's fingers chopped off if Kurama had confessed to the murders of countless of victims including his wife and adopted children? There were already DNA evidence to prove it was him, so why? Unless… his eyes widened as Naruto's files and drawings flooded his memories.

Naruto was the one who killed Akari.

He had to make a phone call, quick!

He was not only a therapist, but once considered an excellent detective. He was cocky in what he did, but he was good with his job.

"Hey."

The man paused when he heard an unknown voice. Turning around, his eyes widened when he saw the serial killer, Kurama swung a bat at him. There was a crack, then followed by a thud. Kurama ran his fingers through his long red hair and smiled at his latest victim.

"Ah, the brat owes me one." He said as he bashed the man's brains in with the bat. "I knew you were going to fuck everything up once they placed you in that facility, Detective Baki."

Kurama threw the dented metal bat to the floor and stepped over the unidentifiable body. "I think your wife and kids should be home soon, huh?" He chuckled darkly. "It's been a long time since I had fun."

Ino placed her hands against the cold window as she watched the rain poured from the early morning sky. Her reflection stared back at her and she cringed by her appearance. Dark rings circled around her eyes due to the lack of sleep she did not receive, and her pores were visibly noticeable. She glanced over her shoulder to watch Sakura who was sleeping soundly away.

Suddenly, her eyes widened when she heard a soft groan come from Sakura's mouth. Ino quickly rushed to her side as Sakura rose and held on to her head.

"Sakura!" Ino exclaimed. "I'm so glad you're okay," She wrapped her arms around her best friend carefully.

"Where am I?" She asked, looking around. "Are we in the hospital?"

Ino nodded, slowly. "Yeah, you fell down the stairs. Don't you remember?"

Sakura shook her head unsurely and mumbled, "I did?"

"Yeah, you did forehead. I thought you were dead."

"How long have I been here?"

"It's only been a day," Ino replied. "You had us all worried. Your mom and dad are still on their business trip. I'll go ahead and let them, and the doctor know you're awake." Ino said, caressing Sakura's hand.

"Where's Sasuke?"

Ino couldn't hide her displeased look. "Seriously, Sakura? Why are you worrying about Sasuke? You almost died!"

"I, I just wanted to know if he is okay," She said, looking down at her lap.

That struck a nerve in Ino and she huffed. "Why? He wasn't the one who fell downstairs and almost broke his neck," She sighed once seeing the look Sakura gave her. "Sasuke's home. He left last night with Kiba and Naruto. I don't understand why you're concerned about his wellbeing when you should be worried about yours."

"He means a lot to me, Ino," Sakura whispered out.

"I know that Sakura. You've told me this a thousand times," She said, letting go of Sakura's hand. "Sakura, you need some help."

"Excuse me?"

"Don't act surprise. Your obsession with Sasuke is really dangerous!" Ino exploded. "I'm not one to judge and hey, if you want to have sex with multiple of men then do you, but to fake a pregnancy?" Sakura was baffled and she fumbled over her words. "Just stop," Ino said, staring at her with disappointment. "I know you're not. The doctors took a look and you're not and you knew."

"Ino, I really thought-

"And you're still going to lie to me! I've been your best friend since we could crawl. Why would you lie to me?" Sakura was on the brim of tears, and that usually did the trick and Ino would cave in, but not this time. "Save your tears, Sakura," She stood up. "You really think faking a pregnancy was going to bring you and Sasuke back together? You're smarter than this, and you know Sasuke would just pressure you into getting an abortion."

Every word Ino said was like a punch in the gut and she lowered her head. "I-I'm sorry that I made you upset."

"I'm more disappointed than upset, Sakura," Ino sighed. "I'm going to get the doctor. I'll be right back," She said, leaving the room.

The tears poured like an endless waterfall and she griped the blanket. What was she even thinking? How could she possibly lie to Ino? And why?

"Yeah, you fell down the stairs. Don't you remember?"

She squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head as she tried to forget that night. She pressed her hand in the center of her stomach and flinched. She could still feel that touch, that push, that fall. She felt the darkness conquering her. She heard Ino crying out for her; and she knew someone had pushed her.

.

.

.

The room was deadly quiet, and his reflection stared back at him from the mirror. He opened his hand, then closed it, and opened it again. His mind was constantly racing with thoughts, scenarios, fantasies and reality. He prayed he would never forget that moment Hinata pulled him back into the alley and made him finish the job. Just remembering that made his dick throb and he wanted more of it.

She may have been naïve in some aspects, but he wouldn't let her fool him. Hinata was no saint. She was quick witted and quite cunning.

"Naruto," She called out from the bathroom.

Hinata had woken him an hour ago as it was almost 6:30 PM. He was pulled from his precious dream, but he wouldn't be too mad at her. She'd look so cute, hovering over him, watching him.

His lips tugged up and he grinned madly. She was just so beautiful to him. The way her big eyes would watch him from the distance and didn't think he would notice. The way her lips turned into a cute pout when she didn't get her way and the way her eyes got when he murdered someone.

Hinata was his addiction. His drug. A drug that made him feel pure ecstasy. A combination of watching someone die and Hinata watching would be his overdose.

He rolled on his back and stared at his protruding bulge. "Shit," He mumbled. He knew he had to stop overthinking about these thoughts unless he wanted to be known for having a hard on in public.

"Okay, let's think ugly things before Hinata comes," He said to himself. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to think about things that would turn him off, but no matter how much he tried that night made its way to mind.

"Naruto,"

"Shit." He muttered under his breath.

His eyes opened, and he saw Hinata through the corner of his eyes. Her eyes were slightly widened, and her face was changing from pink to red to a deep shade of red. She covered her mouth in shock, but her eyes wouldn't look away.

"I-I'm sorry, I-

Naruto ran his fingers through his soft hair and got up. His cheeks were slightly pink, and he looked down embarrassed. Hinata almost squeal at the innocent boy, well man, but she turned around.

"Yeah, you should be sorry. Every time I think about you, I get like this." Hinata cuffed her cheeks and was shocked by the declaration. "And looking at you from behind isn't going to make it any better."

She then poked her index fingers together as she knew exactly how he felt. Her breath suddenly caught in her throat and she shivered uncontrollably when Naruto wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer until she could feel his bulge pressed against her.

He planted soft kisses against her neck and she squeezed her eyes shut. She felt herself suffocating, a pleasurable suffocation. He picked her up and carried her towards the bed.

"Naruto," She gasped out when he dropped her on the soft bed and made his way in between her legs. His blonde bangs hanged, and they would touch her forehead every time he planted a kiss on her sweet lips.

His beautiful eyes stared lovingly into hers that it was almost hard to resist him. Soon, he left a trail of kisses from her forehead to the center of her neck. Hinata felt dizzy and she tried to close her legs when she felt Naruto's fingers pinched the band of her underwear.

They were slowly being pulled down and she froze. She was nervous and possibly frightened as she read that losing your virginity was a little painful for some.

She placed her hands on his biceps and he glanced at her. She could read all over his face that he was ready, and his eyes were full of lust. She didn't want to disappoint him, but still-

"N-Naruto, I'm not ready yet." Without a thought, he pulled her underwear up and left the comfort of her thighs. He pulled her until she sat straight on top of the bed. "I'm sorry. I'm just-

"It's okay. I'm not going to rush you into something like that." He said, sitting next to her. He pushed her bangs back and gave her a quick peck on the forehead. "We'll do it when you're ready, okay?"

She nodded slowly and wrapped her arms around him. He gave her a tight bear hug and smiled. "Oh yeah, you called me. Did something happen?"

"Oh!" She had almost forgotten why she had woken him up. "Ino called and told me Sakura was awake and they would be discharging her today."

"You sound happy,"

"I am because I know how much Sakura means to Ino."

Naruto hummed, amused. "You're happy because Ino is, huh? That's kind of mean Hinata."

"I didn't mean it like that!" She puffed out her cheeks. "Even though I don't like Sakura, I wouldn't wish harm on her. She's Ino's best friend and I would hate for Ino to be sad."

"Hmmm, I suppose."

Hinata felt he was making fun of her and she crossed her arms. Naruto jumped off the bed and did a quick stretch. "I'm going to take a quick shower." He said, heading towards the opened door. "Oh, Hinata?"

"Y-yes?"

"When are you going to teach me how to cook?" Naruto said, glancing over his shoulder.

Hinata was surprised. "You want to learn how to cook?"

Naruto nodded eagerly. "Hai!" He grinned. "I want to cook for you one day."

She blushed at the thought and quickly sprung from the bed. "Let's go to my place. I can teach you."

"Eh, I don't know."

"Naruto," Hinata said, grabbing his hand gently. "Kurenai doesn't hate you, and she doesn't mind you being there. We can cook and have dinner as a family, please!" She pleaded. "I'll even call her."

How could he say no to such a face? He sighed. "Fine. Let me shower first."

Hinata squealed and she jumped up and gave him a quick kiss on the lip. "You're the best!" She wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her head against his chest. "I love you so much."

Naruto poked the uncooked chicken with a chopstick when Hinata tried to reach for the soy sauce in the cupboard above. He placed the chopstick down and walked behind her and grabbed the soy sauce before she could reach it.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed as she turned around.

He stepped backwards and followed her to the chicken that sat in the bowl. "So, what are you going to cook?" He asked, looking over the ingredients.

"Ah, soy sauce chicken," She replied. "It's very simple, and it taste yummy."

Naruto placed his hand on his chin and hummed. "Interesting. Let's get to it, shall we?"

Hinata felt her heart leap for joy, and she nodded excitedly.

Naruto watched the chicken baked through the oven's glass window and Hinata giggled. "Naruto, you've never cooked or baked at least in your lifetime?"

There was a glimmer in his eyes, and he smiled. "Oh yeah, I've baked a lot of things before. I like how it goes from being fleshy to burnt black." He glanced over his shoulder and grinned childishly at Hinata who was cooing at his beauty.

It was like a staring contest, and the two love birds couldn't help but gazed at one another. The only thing that broke their gaze was when the front door opened, and Kurenai stepped inside.

"Good afternoon, Kurenai," Hinata said, approaching her. She grabbed some of the items from Kurenai and helped her inside.

"Hi Hinata,"

Good day, Kurenai," Naruto said, bowing.

"Hello Naruto," She greeted as she took of her red high heels. "Hinata told me what happened to one of your friends. I'm sorry to hear that. How is she doing now?"

"They will be discharging her today. She should be on her way home now as we speak."

"Thank goodness! I know that was quite a scare especially with last night's weather."

Naruto smiled meekly. "It was, but everything is fine now."

"So, what is Hinata teaching you to cook?" Kurenai questioned.

"Soy sauce chicken," He replied, taking his seat on the high barstool.

"Hopefully it'll be enough for four of us?" She rubbed her stomach.

Naruto laughed softly which caught Kurenai by surprise. It was such an innocent laugh that she couldn't help but feel flush. "Of course! Ne, Hinata why don't you help Kurenai and I'll stand watch over the chicken."

"Okay, but don't stare at the oven for so long. You may mess up your eyes doing that."

"Hai, hai!" He sang.

The smell of chicken engulfed the apartment, and the trio glanced at the chicken and at one another, before they shouted, "Itadakimasu!"

Kurenai gladly grabbed a wing and began to munch on it. Ever since she smelled that savory scent consuming the kitchen, she needed to have it.

"You did good, Naruto," Hinata exclaimed.

"Well, you did most of the cooking. I was just watching," Naruto replied. "Kurenai, do you know if it'll be a girl or boy yet?"

"Not yet. Asuma and I actually want it to be a surprise,"

"I know having a baby can be a lot of work. It's going to take up most of your time."

"I know, but it'll be worth it," Kurenai responded.

Hinata felt her heart skipped a beat.

"Isn't this your first child? I know you and Asuma are excited."

Kurenai glanced at him and nodded. "We are. Does Asuma talk about it?"

"Well, I haven't seen Asuma for some time because Shikamaru isn't here, but he always spoke about having a child of his own with a beautiful woman."

She blushed uncontrollably and even coughed. "Oh, he did?"'

"Yes. Asuma actually looks ten years younger ever since you two started dating." Naruto laughed. "Don't tell him I said that." Kurenai played with her black hair by wrapping it around her finger, and she stared past the two youngsters. "And Hinata, I bet you're excited to be an auntie," Naruto said, nudging her slightly.

Hinata nodded shyly. "Yes."

"Naruto, I think it's only fair I ask you a few questions now that you're dating Hinata. You know she's practically my daughter," Kurenai said, nibbling on the crisped skin.

"Fire away."

"Have you ever had any girlfriends before Hinata? You know you're her first boyfriend." Kurenai glanced at Hinata who was turning a few shades of red. It was not her intentions of embarrassing the girl, but she figured Naruto knew this.

"Hinata is my first real girlfriend."

"So, you have experience with women?"

Naruto's lips tugged up into a soft smile and he laughed nervously when he felt Hinata glaring at the side of his head. Kurenai was surprised to see her Hinata jealous, but it was so cute that she couldn't help but smile.

"Now Hinata, Naruto is a young handsome man. It's only natural." Kurenai said coming to his defense.

She puffed out her cheeks and chewed on a piece of wing, still giving Naruto a cute side eye.

"Ah, Kurenai no fair. You're trying to get me in trouble." Naruto chuckled playfully.

"Gomen, gomen, but what are your intentions with Hinata?"

"To love and cherish as well as build a life with her. I know Hinata and I may not be compatible as far as personalities go, but she's so patient and understanding with me. I've never experienced that with somebody before and she loves me just for me." He smiled towards Hinata who was trying to cover her blushing face.

"Hopefully Hinata will be a little more confident with you around."

"Oh, you'll be surprise, Kurenai! Hinata is very confident when it comes to us and even her." Naruto exclaimed.

"Is that so?" She lowered her head to hide her smile. "What does your parents do for a living, Naruto?"

Hinata stared apologetically at Naruto as she had failed to tell Kurenai Naruto was an orphaned.

"My parents died when I was young, but my adopted mother owns a clinic right in the middle of Konoha. You've been there a few times."

Kurenai was embarrassed and apologize profusely until she realized what he had said. "Wait, you've seen me at a clinic?"

Hinata glanced at Naruto since this was new to her. "Yeah, you even brought her a fruit basket."

"Fruit basket?" Kurenai mumbled then she stared in disbelief. "You're the child Tsunade adopted!"

"Hai!"

"Oh my, this is such a small world! How is Tsunade doing? It's been such a long time since I've seen her."

"Baa-chan is fine."

"Does she still drink her daily medicine?" Kurenai covered her mouth to suppress her giggles.

"Five times, every hour," Naruto grinned.

Hinata watched the two talk back and forth and she ate her chicken. She felt like she was being left out of the conversation and felt herself slowly disappearing.

Kurenai's phone suddenly rang, and she excused herself from the table.

Naruto watched as she left, and he gazed at Hinata who had stopped eating. "Are you okay, Hinata?"

"I'm fine," She said, sourly.

"My poor baby doesn't look fine. Did we do something wrong with the chicken?" He placed his hand on her shoulder.

As Kurenai was approaching the table, Hinata quickly shot up which almost startled her. "Sorry, Kurenai but Naruto was just telling me how he needs to leave. He has a test he needs to prepare for tomorrow,"

Naruto was surprised, but he got up slowly. "I had such a fun time talking to you Kurenai, but you know how college is. Thank you for inviting me into your home."

Hinata felt a little bad for ruining the time Kurenai and him had together. She felt even worse when she saw the sad look Kurenai had given him.

"Why don't you take some wings home? I know how crunch time can get."

Naruto took the container of food from Kurenai and he bowed. "I'll escort him out," Hinata said as she opened the door. "Come on, Naruto."

Naruto followed behind her and the two didn't speak until they were in the elevator. "Is there a reason why you're rushing me home?"

Hinata lowered her shoulder and she sulked. "I-I'm sorry," She whispered. She honestly meant it as she couldn't believe what had just happened. She was just becoming overwhelmed by the bond of Kurenai and Naruto that she felt left out. This was a good thing that they were beginning to like one another, but it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Naruto stopped the elevator and Hinata looked at him. "Are you going to tell me what's going on?"

"I-I'm fine, I was just tired."

Naruto hovered over her, and she stepped back until her back was against the silver walls. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, Hinata. You're becoming such a naughty girl." He pushed some of her hair back. "Were you getting jealous?"

She shook her head. "W-why would I be jealous? Kurenai isn't like Sakura," She frowned.

He stepped back and gave room for Hinata to breathe. He clicked the button on the elevator, and it continue to go down.

They didn't speak and Hinata felt anxious. Jealousy was such an ugly thing, and she was afraid that she made Naruto upset.

He stepped off the elevator, and Hinata remained on it. He turned around and was shocked to find the girl bawling actual tears. He hadn't even heard her crying.

He pulled her off the elevator and embraced her. "Why are you crying?"

"I made you angry" She tried to wipe away the tears that were continuously falling.

"Why would you think such a thing? Did I do something wrong?"

"No, I did. I kicked you out just as you and Kurenai were getting close and I've ruined everything and this day,"

"You didn't ruin my day, Hinata," Naruto kissed her on the top of her head. "Stop the crying,"

No matter how much she tried, she couldn't. Naruto sighed under his breath and he pulled her outside away from the lobby.

"Hinata, people are going to think I hurt you," He was already receiving a few looks from some people who were walking by.

"I'm sorry,"

Naruto waited for a while until she had calmed down. "You weren't this upset when you destroyed my phone," He laughed when she glared at him. "Oh, Hinata this is why I adore you so much. How can I ever be upset or angry at you? I've done so much, but you still love me. I don't think I can ever find myself being angry at you,"

She wiped her eyes.

"Cheer up, okay? I'm just doing what you wanted and that was becoming close with Kurnai. I'm sorry if I made you feel left out. Can you forgive me?"

Hinata almost teared up again at how sweet Naruto was. "I won't be jealous ever again. I mean it,"

Naruto chuckled. "Jealousy is like a monster that builds up whether we want it to or not. Just wait until you see what you're capable of once you unleash it." He kissed her wet lips and stared into her eyes. "Thank you for teaching me how to cook. Let's try one of my hobbies one day," He winked at her. "I'll text you when I reach home," He said, leaving behind a shock Hinata.

The sun seeped its way through the blinds of the biology classroom, and the wind blew them back and forth, slightly. Professor Kabuto had assigned groups of twos for an assignment.

Naruto tapped his pen against the sheet of paper as he carefully reviewed the material typed out. Karin was sitting in front of him as the two were paired to do a group assignment on the human body.

"Are you okay, Naruto?"

"I'm fine," He mumbled. His eyes left the material and he quickly jotted something down.

"Are you worried about Sakura? I heard she fell down some stairs." Karin whispered just enough for him to hear.

"Sakura is doing fine. She was discharged yesterday afternoon."

"Hmm. I heard you're also dating a Hyuga. Is it true?" Karin asked out of curiosity.

"Yup. Her name is Hinata," He said, glancing at Karin briefly before looking over his writing.

"I hear she's very pretty and she's caught the attention of half the male population."

"Mhm," Naruto said, answering another question on the sheet. "She seems to do that wherever she goes, ya know?"

Karin kicked her feet back and forth. "Hmmm, usually the pretty ones have multiple boyfriends. Do you think she'll cheat on you?"

Naruto placed the pen on the table and stared at Karin. "Why do you think she'll do that?"

"Because she's pretty. I've seen her a few times, and she had a lot of admirers." Karin flipped her hair. "She doesn't look stuck up, I guess, but it's always the quiet cute ones."

"Are you trying to fill my head with doubts about her?"

"No, I've just experienced these kinds of things and I've seen them unfold in front of me," Karin tried to defend herself.

"I guess," Naruto paused, "or are you upset that you weren't able to play your cards with Sasuke?" Karin scoffed. "That's a selfish thing to do, Karin. Just because you don't have the heart to shoot your shot, why would you try to tarnish my relationship with those ugly doubts?"

"I didn't even say anything to allude to that," She stared, shockingly at him. Naruto pressed the side of his head against the palm of his hand and stared at Karin. "But he mentioned me?"

"I've never said that, but he has," He smiled, softly.

"And what did he say?" She asked, anxiously.

"That he doesn't fuck ugly girls," Naruto said, staring straight into her eyes.

Karin was taken back, and she felt the tears swelling in her eyes. "Oh, I-

"I'm just kidding," Naruto grinned. "He admits you're cute, but it's the stalking part for him," He hummed. "I think they're the best girls to have," Karin's fist trembled, and she wiped her stained eyes. Naruto glanced at her and smiled brightly. "Ne, why don't I set up a double date. You and Sasuke with me and Hinata?"

"Y-you would do that for me?" She stuttered in disbelief.

He shrugged. "Sasuke needs something to get his mind off something and I figure you can help,"

"Is it because of Sakura?"

"Something like that," Naruto added.

"Um, thank you. I would love that and again I'm sorry," She lowered her head. "I didn't mean to make you feel some type of way."

"You didn't make me feel any type of way. Let's finish this before class ends."

Hinata was glad that today's class was a free for all. She had a hard time sleeping last night, especially with those ugly thoughts that raced throughout her mind. There were so many things to worry about especially her new found jealousy and Naruto's situation.

She tried to forget that night in the alley way, and things needed to be done. To say the least, she was particularly upset at Naruto for being reckless. What if she wasn't there and that girl live? He would be in jail!

Maybe she should have spent more time focusing on Naruto than her jealousy. It wasn't that bad, per se unlike Naruto's fascination with murder.

Sighing softly, she searched the web for ways to help him but there was none that she liked. Everything pointed towards a jail cell or a psych ward. There was no way she was going to allow them to take her precious person away.

They were soulmates destined to find one another. So, how could she give up so easily now? There had to be other ways to help him that didn't involve turning him in, so she decided to turn to Ino.

Deciding that it was pointless remaining here, she gathered her things and left the classroom.

Hinata: Ino, where are you?

Ino: Academic lab.

Hinata: I'll be there!

As she was walking towards the academic lab located in the library her phone went off.

Naruto: I'm going to stop by Sakura's class for a min.

Hinata: K.

She ran up the stairs of the library and entered the academic portion. Looking left and right, she saw Ino sitting in a private room.

Hinata knocked softly, before she entered the room. "Hi, Ino."

"Oh, hey Hinata," Ino replied softly.

Ino was usually loud and boisterous so hearing her speak so softly was surprising to Hinata. "What's the matter?" She asked, taking a seat across from Sakura.

"Oh, it's nothing," Her shoulders slouched.

Hinata frowned. Although she and Ino weren't best friends, she still had a deep connection with the girl. "Ino," She said, touching her hand. "It's okay. You can talk to me. I promise I won't say anything."

"It's Sakura."

"Did something happen to her? I thought she was discharged yesterday?"

Ino squeezed her fist and sniffled. Hinata handed her a napkin from her bag and she thanked her.

"She's a lying two face bitch." Ino growled. Hinata's eyes widened by Ino's sudden change of demeanor and choice of words. "I've been friends with that trifling bitch since we were babies, and she lies to me!" She exploded. "And then she's always riding Sasuke's dick." Hinata was confused by the phrase "riding Sasuke's dick" but she decided not to ask. Ino scoffed. "He doesn't even want her, and he treats her like shit! Once a cheater, always a cheater. I don't understand what's the big deal about him. I mean yeah at first I had a huge crush on him and thought he was fucking handsome, he is, but damn. I'm not faking being pregnant to get his fucking attention!" Ino quickly covered her mouth when she let that last part slip.

"Sakura- did what?" Hinata was speechless.

"Hinata, you can't tell anyone about this. Please!" Ino clasped her hands together. "I don't know where that came from- I- I

"It's okay, Ino. I won't tell anyone. I promise." Hinata said, holding onto Ino's hand. "I guess Sakura hurts you a lot, huh?"

"She does," Ino whispered. "but she's my best friend and I love her very much." She sighed. "I'll get over it," She said, putting on a smile. "Did you need me for something?"

"Uh, yeah um," Hinata mumbled, "I have a friend who has a friend and she's trying to help this uh- friend? And this friend has a secret that can get him in trouble, but she really wants to help him and uh, any advice?"

Ino covered her mouth and she giggled loudly. Hearing Hinata speak was so adorable that it lightened her spirit and she smiled brightly. "So, basically Naruto has a secret that can get him into trouble, and you know this secret and you want to help him, so he doesn't get into trouble?"

Hinata lowered her head and mumbled, "Hai."

Ino placed her finger to her mouth and looked up at the ceiling. "Well, it depends on this secret. Have you tried talking to him about it?"

"I mean I do, but he always brushes it off."

"Maybe you should do a walk in my shoe is what I like to call it. How would you feel if I did this or that? Sometimes it gets them thinking and makes them a little more cautious."

Hinata's eyes lightened up. "That's a good idea, Ino!"

She smiled softly. "If you were in my shoes, would break off your friendship with Sakura?"

"I don't have many friends, but I would express my emotions to her and let her know how it makes me feel, but I don't think I would end my friendship with her yet. I believe some people deserves a second chance at redemption. Maybe she's just as sorry for her actions and right now she's feeling remorse. You're a good friend and I know Sakura doesn't wish to end this relationship."

"Thank you Hinata, and thank you for listening," She laughed. "Usually, I'm the one who gives the advice. It's nice to have someone talk for a change."

"It's my pleasure, Ino. I'm all ears anytime you wish to speak to me."

.

Sasuke: What do you want?

Naruto: Double date with me.

Sasuke: With who?

Naruto: Who else?

Sasuke: Sakura?

Sasuke: Aika?

Sasuke: Ai?

Sasuke: Emiko?

Sasuke: Sanako?

Naruto: …

Naruto: You are such a whore.

Naruto: How many girls have you fuck?

Sasuke: A lot.

Naruto: -inserts crying emoji-

Naruto: Karin.

Sasuke: No.

Naruto: Why? You fuck anything that crawls apparently.

Sasuke: I haven't fucked you.

Naruto: Pause.

Naruto: Anyways, you owe me one.

Sasuke: Why do you want me to date her?

Naruto: You're depress, and she's obsessed, and a good fucking will make you two unstress.

Sasuke: Lol. Wtf Naruto.

Sasuke: I'm not depress.

Naruto: When's the last time you fuck?

Naruto: Exactly.

Sasuke: You didn't even give me a chance to respond.

Naruto: I was probably thinking tomorrow night? Idk any other restaurants besides Ichiraku so pick something.

Sasuke: When did you become my mother?

Naruto: :^) I love you.

Sasuke: -inserts middle finger- We'll eat at Chiyo's 9 PM. Don't mention this to Sakura.

Naruto: I won't.

Naruto shoved the phone in his back pocket and smiled when he saw an unkempt Sakura walk out of the class. Sakura was always well kept and clean. She wore the latest fashion, and she went to get a facial every week with Ino. She worked out and made sure she ate properly, but Naruto could tell she had gain a little weight and her face had little red pimples forming.

"Sakura," He called out. With her head lowered, she approached the boy and stood in front of him. "You look like shit. Was it really alright for you to attend class?"

"I'm fine." She mumbled. "I didn't suffer any broken bones and I'm okay. Why are you here?"

"I wanted to check up on you to make sure you're okay."

Sakura grabbed Naruto by his shirt, and he eyed her suspiciously. She glanced up at him and he saw the tears swelled up in the corner of her eyes. "I- I need to talk to you," She choked. "Please."

Naruto handed her a cold water and sat on the metal bench next to her. She took a sip of the water and leaned forward.

"What's on your mind?" He asked, watching the group of students walk by.

"Am I a bad person?"

"A little," Naruto laughed when he saw the look, she gave him.

"I'm being serious, Naruto," Sakura sighed. "Am I?"

"Yes, you are. And you're a terrible friend to Ino." He leaned back slightly and tilted his head to watch the clouds in the sky.

Sakura frowned. "Really? I know I can screw up at times, but I'm not bad?" She questioned herself.

"Well, you knew she had a crush on Sasuke, and you still went after him after she told you." Naruto pointed out.

"Nu uh! I've always had a crush on Sasuke."

"Why didn't you tell Ino when she confessed to you? If you had told her the same time, maybe it would have hurt less," Naruto said, "and overall, you can be a little nicer to her."

Sakura intertwined her fingers together and sighed loudly. "I guess. Um, I- I have something to tell you."

"Hmmm…?"

She lowered her head and mumbled, "I'm not pregnant."

"Did the fall, you know?"

Shaking her head, she turned her head slightly away from him. "I lied about being pregnant."

Naruto pretended to fake a gasp. "Sakura, why would you do that?"

"I don't know!" She exploded. "Sasuke and I, we were arguing and then it slipped out."

"That's disappointing." Naruto replied, shaking his head.

"I've already been scolded by Ino. I don't need you scolding me too." She turned to face him.

Naruto scratched the back of his head and shrugged. "I'm just saying."

"And" She paused, "there's something else I want to tell you. Please don't tell anyone! Promise me," She pleaded as she gripped his hand.

He removed his hands from hers and nodded. "What?"

"The night I fell down the stairs," She chewed on her bottom lip and the tears began to form. "Somebody pushed me, Naruto. Somebody shoved me down the stairs," She held her stomach. "I felt their hand print on my stomach. I felt when they pushed me down. I- I just don't know who it was." She choked on her tears. "It was only Kiba, Ino and Sasuke. Do you really think one of them would do something like that to me?"

"Seriously?" He said, looking bewildered. "That's really messed up."

"But you believe me, right? I'm not losing it, am I?"

Naruto shook his head. "I believe you, Sakura. You may be a little crazy, but I don't think you would make up something like that."

She wiped the tears away and nodded. "I felt it, and-and…" She gulped. "I scratched one of them on the hand."

He was quite surprise at her ability to think so far ahead. "You did?"

"Yes. Near the thumb area," She said, showing him the spot. "If anyone has a scratch mark, then I'll know."

"You're really smart, Sakura. I would hate for you to become a detective," He laughed.

She couldn't help but smile. "T-thank you for listening to me Naruto. It really meant a lot to me."

"It's my pleasure," He said, standing up and shielding his eyes from the sun's rays. Sakura gazed at him and her cheeks turned pink as she watched him. Deep inside, she wished Sasuke was a little more like Naruto. He was loyal to his girlfriend, and a great listener. He gave some advice when she needed it and he was always there for her.

"Why don't we get some bubble tea?" Naruto suggested. "Hinata's still with Ino, so we can meet up with them."

"Ah, um that would be nice," She fumbled over her words. "I'll get Ino one too, but do you think she'll stay mad at me?"

"Just give her sometime to cool off. You know Ino can't stay mad at you for too long," He reassured her. "Come on."

Sakura hopped from the bench, happy and she nodded. "Thanks again, Naruto."

That following night, Hinata lied next to Naruto and intertwined her fingers with hers. She stared at it momentarily and sighed lovingly. Holding his hand brought warmth to her and that electrical feeling was like an ongoing pulse.

This was her very first relationship and first experience with a man that she couldn't help but wonder what kind of experiences Naruto had with other women before her. She shrugged. That didn't matter, for, now right? As long as it was just the two of them, what did she have to fear? Right now, she needed to focus on the bigger picture and that was Naruto.

"What's on your mind?" Naruto asked, as he stared at the ceiling. "Tryna keep me a prisoner?" He chuckled when lifted their hands in the air.

"Naruto, I know you have," She coughed, "a hobby."

"Killing people."

Hinata turned red. "Yes, killing people," The words felt distasteful leaving her mouth.

"Well, I think I've found a way to help!" She smiled happily. "What if somebody killed me? How would that make you feel?"

The room became deadly quiet, and suddenly Naruto let out a short laugh. Hinata smile turned into a frown. She didn't find something like that funny.

"Hinata," He finally spoke, "you don't have to worry about that. No one is going to do that to you."

"But Naruto, you're not answering my question. How would you feel?" She turned her head slightly to look at him. "If I walked outside right now and someone decides they want to kill me, how would that make you feel?" Her voice had grown noticeably louder.

"That's such a weird question." His eyes shifted to hers. "Oh, I hope you don't mind if we go on a double date with Sasuke and Karin tomorrow night. It slipped my mind."

"That's fine and all, but don't ignore my question," She pouted. "I really want to know."

"I did. It's something you don't have to worry about," Hinata then let go of his hand and got up. "I'm not sure how you want me to answer? It hasn't happened and it won't. So, why don't you let go of it?" He also leaned up and the two stared at one another.

"I'm sure those people who you murdered partners and parents thought the same thing!"

"Who cares what they think?" He crossed his arms. "You're going to upset yourself, honestly. Let's lay back down and relax." He felt himself getting slightly annoyed by her sudden question. It wasn't something he expected her to ask, and he felt his night was ruined.

Hinata's vision became blurry when the tears gathered in her eyes and she wiped them away. "You're so cruel!"

"If I'm so cruel, what does that make you?" Naruto barked. "You know, so why don't you do something about it?"

"I'm trying!" She screamed.

"What's the matter? You were fine just a second ago. Why are you acting like this?" He sighed.

"Because you're being insensitive! You won't answer my question, but I already know. That would hurt you more than anything!" She sniffled. "I'm leaving!" Hinata shouted, scurrying off the bed.

"Hinata!" Naruto called out, but the girl was stubborn. She grabbed her things from the sofa and marched towards the door when Naruto grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her back.

"Let go of me!" She yelled, trying to get herself free.

"No. We're talking. Why are you turning your back on me?" His grip tightened each time she tried to free herself. "Stop this! Why are you acting this way?"

"Let me go, now!" She glared at him.

Naruto released her, and she rubbed her wrist which turned slightly red. She sniffled as there was a little pain to it, but what hurt her the most was Naruto's inability to understand her point of view.

"I'm going home," Her voice cracked.

"I'll take you there,"

"Why? It's not like anyone is going to kill me." She whispered, walking out the door.

Naruto was left staring at the brown door. Hinata hadn't even bothered to look back at him or tell him good-bye. She just shut the door in his face. He let a long sigh and then his eyes darted to his hand. He squeezed tightly then opened it.

He was slightly irritated yet turned on because of her reaction. Call him sick, but something about grabbing her wrist felt very satisfying and watching her pale skin turn red made him shiver.

He sighed once more in defeat. Perhaps he was more pissed off then he was turned on.

Sighing in frustration, he grabbed his hood jacket and slipped into a pair of sneakers before he went outside.

Naruto: I'm postponing tomorrow's events.

Sasuke: What happened?

Naruto: Women.

Sasuke: :'(

It had been a long time since he had fun.

Once making sure Hinata had reached home safely, the blonde boy walked and walked until he felt there was a perfect opportunity. He wasn't pissed at Hinata's reaction, just annoyed by her action. Life was unpredictable at times and things happened to the good. It's not like he cared anyway. There was always a saying: Wrong place, wrong time.

If it was meant to happen, then there was nothing he could do about it. This life made him realize that from the minute he was born to now. It was unpredictable. And he sure as hell would be pissed if someone ever laid a hand on his woman. She was his and he would be damned if someone thought about taking that away from him.

The more he thought about it, the more the anger built inside him. Right now, was not the time to get upset. Kurama always had a motto: Don't kill out of anger. Killing should be done out of fun and that's exactly what he intended on doing. Having some good fucking fun.

Naruto sat on the bench as he had been walking for some time now. He threw his head back and sighed. It was their first official fight as a couple and he was sure more were to come, but it did make him feel a little giggly.

Hinata was just so cute. He couldn't stay mad at her and it was only right for her to have such a response, but he'll get his pay back.

His ear perked up when he heard a car honk at him. There was a way to it. How many were there in the car? Man or a woman? He could hold his own weight in a fight, but he wouldn't be cocky and fuck everything up. He knew his limits. He knew who to take on and he knew who to stay away from.

Kurama used to do that too. He would observe and watch his victims for a while before he decided the best course of action. Attack or flee.

"Hey kid, you need a ride?" It was a man's voice.

Naruto stared at the mini jeep that had a woman in the passenger seat and a man in the driver's seat.

"Not really," He smiled. "I'm just here, roaming the city.

The woman gazed at him, then she stared back at the man before she looked back at Naruto. "Well, it would be a shame for you to be out here late at night, especially with a serial killer going around."

"Hopefully, he doesn't kill me," Naruto laughed.

The two laughed and the woman spoke, "Come on in. It seems that it's going to rain soon. We can take you back to our place and have fun? Do you like red wine?"

"Yes, yes I do." He said, entering the mini jeep.

"My name is Kim, and this is my husband Lian." The woman introduced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Menma."

She smiled seductively at him. "You're very handsome Menma."

"Thank you. I get it from my mother."

A light rain sprayed Konoha that night, and it even pattered on the roof tops. Naruto looked around the house and realize these two were quite the money maker. It wasn't too big of a house, but it was just right and luxurious. His eyes darted around the area and he tilted his head when he noticed that there wasn't a security system set up.

Kim came back with a glass of wine and handed it to him. "Drink up."

Naruto bowed and took it before he pretended to take a sip from it. She smiled at him and he smiled back. "Where's Lian?" He questioned, once noticing the man had disappeared.

"He's had a busy day, so he's taking a shower." She said, leading Naruto to the white L shape sofa. "Come sit down." The busty woman invaded his personal space, and she threw her leg over him. "So, tell me Menma. Do you have a girlfriend?"

He nodded. "I do and she would be extremely pissed if she saw me in this predicament."

Kim smirked and she took a sip of wine from her own glass. "What predicament? We're just two adults, chatting, getting to know one another."

Naruto placed the untouched glass wine of the coffee table, and his eyes travelled up her leg. Her skin was very white. He wondered how it would look if there was just a tad of red there.

"Let's cut to the chase. My husband and I, we've been looking for some fun and you fit our criteria. So, would you like to fuck?"

"Do we have to wait for him?"

"He'll be done shortly." She said, grabbing Naruto's hand and placing it on her bare skin. He shivered with excitement and his lips tugged upwards.

She laid down on the sofa and he climbed on top of her. "This isn't considered cheating, right?" He cocked his head to the side.

"I won't tell if you don't tell."

"Good." He smiled mischievously.

Lian was a young handsome man, who was married to his wife Kim for almost five years. The two had everything in common and there sex life was amazing. She like men, and he like men and woman, although it was a secret he kept between his respective peers. She was supportive and that made them explore their sexual life.

They attended underground swinger parties, picked up men who were hitch hiking and tonight he scored big. Blonde hair, blue eyes boys were rare in Konoha, and seeing the mop of blonde hair sitting their on the bench unaware of his surroundings was a turn on.

Lian knew he had to have him. The look his wife gave him in the car was letting him know that it was everything he wanted in a boy. There was just something about them that made him feel lively unlike the older dirt bags; but beggars shouldn't be choosers.

He tried to hold his urges in when the boy entered the car. He didn't understand how he did or how he made it home, but he was ready to pounce on the boy and make him his. There was nothing more satisfying than conquering them, whether they wanted it or not.

His dick throb just thinking about the face that Menma kid would do. His blue eyes were innocent, but devilish. He probably wasn't no saint and that made it even better.

There was a routine in place when they picked up people from the side of the road. Kim always gave them a drink that contained a high dosage of a tranquil and with one little drop, it was enough to make five elephants fall fast asleep, but he didn't want it for this one.

He wanted him to be awake for what he had prepared for him, so he asked Kim to give him a dose of paralysis drink that would paralyze his muscles but keep him awake.

A loud chuckle escaped his lips. He was such a fucking genius!

The bathroom was foggy, and he quickly turned off the shower head. He couldn't wait any longer. As he slid the shower curtains to the side, he almost jumped back when he saw Menma stand there.

"Hello."

"Uh, what are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be out there with Kim?" Lian said, nervously. Had Kim forgotten to give him the wine?

"No, she didn't." Naruto responded like he had read his mind.

That's when Lian noticed the blood all over his face and clothes. "What did you do!" He screamed at Naruto. "Kim! Kim!"

The more he screamed, the wider Naruto's smile got. "Let's fuck," He said, mockingly.

Lian felt an unbelievable rage within, and he went to launch at the boy, however. Naruto closed one of his eyes and cringe.

"Oh, that's got to hurt, oh and quite embarrassing."

The man slipped on the soap his wife had warned him countless of times to put up, but who knew it would be his demise.

He held his head and he almost freaked out when he saw his own blood. He was shaken and he stared at Naruto, pleadingly. "W-what do you want? Money? Name it. I'll give it to you."

"Ah," He looked at the bloody blade then Lian. "Where's your cash?"

"It's in my safe, located in my closet. There's a lot of cash there. It's all yours."

"The combination number?"

"23890." Lian quickly said.

"Awesome. I have two bodies and some cash. Maybe I'm in the wrong field."

Lian's eyes widened, and he let out a terrible scream when Naruto hoped in the shower and hovered over him. "I'll take it slow."

It had probably been two, three hours and Naruto was still sitting on the corpse. He was admiring his work. All he did was stare into the eyes of the dead man who stared back at him. A soft smile graced his face and he caressed Lian's cheek.

He was so beautiful, and his work brought out his shine. "Your wife has some fucked up skin. I really thought it was nice and white but turns out it wasn't. Do you know how disappointing that was?"

Naruto cocked his head to the side and beamed. He picked up a piece of flesh he had sliced from the forearm and examined it. "Turns out her breast weren't even real. I guess having money can buy anything. Hey, Hinata is probably going to be mad at me once this comes out on the news." He sighed as he stood up and looked over his bloody clothes.

"I should probably take a bath," He said to himself. Pushing the dead body over the tub and on to the floor, he took off his clothes and let the water run down his skin. "Hey, wanna hear a joke? I saw it on my Facebook so here it goes," He laughed. "I picked up a hitchhiker last night. He said thanks, how do you know I'm not a serial killer? I replied, the chances of two serial killer's being in the same care are astronomical." Naruto smiled. "That's so funny, isn't it?"

There was tension between the two couple, and everyone including Kiba noticed how silent and distant they were. Hinata had terrible eyebags, and her eyes were even red like she had just been crying, and Naruto didn't seem bothered.

Ino didn't like it one bit, and when Naruto and Kiba left to get some more snacks from the cafeteria, she decided to speak up.

"Hinata, is everything okay between you and Naruto?"

It's not like she could tell Ino what was actually going on. This wasn't something normal couples fought about. "We just had a disagreement last night," Hinata whispered.

"It's okay. You can tell me. What was the disagreement about?"

"Oh, it's not a big deal," Hinata said, grabbing her bag. "I have to go to my next class. I'll text you later, Ino," She rushed to leave.

Ino glanced at her watched and noticed Hinata had an hour until her classes start. This was so unlike the girl and she grew worried. She heard Naruto and Kiba laughing, and she shot up causing Sakura to almost fall back.

"What the fuck?" She frowned. "Naruto, what happened between you and Hinata? Did you make her cry?" Ino said, placing her hand on her waist which Sakura eyed.

"Where did she go?" He asked, once noticing her spot was empty.

"She left to go to class, which doesn't start for a whole hour!" Ino said, throwing her arms in the air. "Now spill! Did you do something to hurt her?"

Naruto ignored Ino's bantered and was about to walk past the group when he suddenly turned around. He had a slight frown on his face, and his eyes was soft. "Actually, we did have a fight," He pushed back his blond hair. "It's our first fight and I'm not really sure what to say or do."

"She is your first girlfriend." Ino said, approaching him. "Do you mind telling me what you two fought about?"

"Eh, I really don't want to go into details, but we haven't spoken since last night," He crossed his arms.

Kiba took his seat next to Sakura who was listening to the conversation. She had never seen Naruto look so fragile and sad that her heart went out to him, even if she didn't like Hinata.

"I see. Your Hinata's first, so maybe you should quickly confront her before her next class. I'm sure it's eating her up too." Ino advised. "Oh and apologize. A woman is always right," She giggled.

Naruto nodded and smile. "Thanks, Ino. I'll go ahead and do that now." He said, running off to the culinary building.

"When did you start giving relationship advice?" Kiba said. "Have you ever had a boyfriend?"

Ino glared at him before taking her seat between the two. "She's Naruto's first real girlfriend and they make a cute couple. I don't want to see them break up."

Kiba rolled his eyes. "You know Naruto isn't as clueless as he looks about women you know?"

"What are you talking about?" Sakura questioned.

Kiba threw a grape into his mouth and shrugged. "It's a guy code. Can't break it."

"I'm pretty sure you already did," Ino muttered out.

Sakura quickly jabbed her, and was thankful Kiba did not heard her.

"Maybe it's a good thing," Sakura said, holding her head. "He honestly deserves better,"

"Don't you start," Ino shot her a glare.

Naruto shoved his hands into the hood of his jacket as he swiftly made it across the campus to Hinata's class. He had texted her, but she didn't respond to it and he scoffed. As he opened the door, a young girl collided into him and she fell back to the marbled floor.

"I'm sorry!" She quickly said.

Papers flew everywhere and she rubbed her head. He glared down at the girl, and all he wanted to do was stomp on her pretty face. Why the fuck wouldn't you secure your papers in a binder is what he wanted to ask her.

He smiled slightly and helped her off the floor. "I do apologize for that. I should have watched where I was going," He said, picking her things up.

"Um, it's okay," She replied.

Her soft brown eyes glistened when the handsome boy handed her her things, and she looked down briefly. "Th-thank you," She stuttered. "You didn't have to do that for me,"

"Well, it wouldn't be fair if I'd left them on the floor. You probably would have looked at me differently," He smiled cheekily.

"I've never seen you here," She piped up.

"I'm not in this department,"

"Oh,"

Obviously, the girl was trying to strike a conversation with him, but there was only one person on his mind, Hinata. He kept looking around to see if he would spot her, and he almost walked past the girl who was talking until she grabbed his jacket.

"I'm sorry. It seems that you're busy, but," Her face suddenly turned red, and she still had her grip on his jacket. "would you maybe like to grab some coffee?"

The door to the department opened, and Hinata stopped in her tracks when she saw Naruto and this unknown girl holding his jacket. Her heart started beating fast, and when she heard what the young girl asked, it was like something snapped in her.

Naruto saw how her eyes became dangerously low, and he almost smirked. "Coffee sounds nice, but I'm not a huge fan of it. Maybe ramen?"

The young girl's eyes widened, and she nodded eagerly. "I love ramen! Maybe we can meet up at Ichiraku at seven?"

"Perfect. Seven it is!" Naruto grinned at Hinata who chewed down on the bottom of her lips.

"Awesome! I'll meet you there," She said, turning around. She almost collided into Hinata and she stared at the girl questionably. "She's creepy," She mumbled under her breath before she walked out the double doors.

"Oh, Hinata, I didn't see you there," Naruto said, nonchalant. "My class is about to start, so I'll see you later or maybe tomorrow," He said, brushing past her.

"Naruto, my classes end at six today, so I expect you to be here." Hinata swiftly turned around.

Naruto glanced over his shoulder. "Sorry, I can't. I've been invited out for ramen,"

Hinata felt her eyes watered and she quickly ran to the bathroom. Why was he doing this to her? All she was trying to do was help him, like she promised. Didn't he love her anymore? Was he that upset?

Her shoulders trembled and she screamed loudly, kicking up a storm.

.

.

.

Night came quickly, and Hinata was playing with the hem of her hood jacket as she stood behind a tree watching the inside of Ichiraku ramen store. The young brown hair girl was sitting patiently. Hinata chewed on the bottom of her lips each time the girl looked into her mirror, primping herself. That turned her stomach inside out and she quickly glanced at her phone to check the time.

7:01 PM

If Naruto showed up, she didn't know what she would do, or maybe she did. She played a scenario of her entering the ramen shop to confront the girl and it did not end pretty. She never knew she could think such thoughts, but she had every right. Naruto was hers and hers only, and he broke their promise by allowing another woman to touch him let alone go on a date.

She paced back and forth. A date? A fucking date is what it was! Naruto knowingly went out with another girl while they were dating. That was just dishonest! Traitor! Heartbreaking!

7:15 PM

The tears threatened to fall, and she closed her eyes shut. Why was he doing this? Didn't he love her anymore? That's all she could think. If he left her, what would she do? Would life go on after everything they've been through? After everything she's been through? Would she be forgotten? Another memory?

7:30 PM

She peeped into the restaurant and the young girl was still waiting, but Hinata could see she was getting restless. Her nose slightly wiggled and before she could turn around, her mouth was covered and he wrapped his arm around her waist.

The tears splatted all over the intruder's hand, and he let go of her and she dropped to the floor.

"You don't love me anymore?" She sniffled.

He stooped down and placed his hand on her back. "I do love you,"

"Then why were you giving me the cold shoulder? Why are you going to eat ramen with another girl?" She turned to glare at him.

"Well, you started it first," He frowned.

"But I didn't offer to go out with another guy!" She grabbed the grass underneath her and threw it at him.

He brushed it off and sighed. "But I'm not in there with her, I'm here with you," He fell on his bottom when Hinata put her whole-body weight on him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly. "I know you're trying to help me, Hinata and I'm sorry for acting the way I did." She buried her head into his chest. "I guess I really hurt you, huh?" She nodded. "You know I love you, right?" Another nod. "Then did you really think I would go out with another woman?"

"I don't know,"

"Well, I won't do such a thing."

"So, why are you even here?" She pulled her head back and stared into his eyes.

He brushed some strands of hair from her cheeks and kissed her nose. "I was watching you the entire time," He smiled.

Hinata gasped and she pulled away from Naruto. Her face turned a few shades of red and she covered her face.

"Ah, why are you embarrassed? Isn't it cute?" He chuckled when she shot a glare at him.

"I felt alone," Her shoulders lowered. "I thought you were going to leave me for her. Leave me alone."

"I won't. I give you my word." Naruto said.

"I'm sorry for shouting at you. I- I don't know what's going on with me," She whispered.

"There's nothing going on with you." He helped her up. "I love you, okay?" She nodded, and then she closed her eyes when he leaned in to give her a kiss. Hinata's stomach suddenly grumbled and Naruto looked at her. "Are you hungry?"

"Yes," she said, poking her index fingers together. "I haven't eaten since yesterday."

Naruto looked at the restaurant then back to Hinata. "Let's get us a free meal."

"How?"

He grabbed her hand and led her to the ramen shop. The bell chimed, and the place was a little pack. Hinata gawked at the back of Naruto's head and wondered what he was doing. His "date" was still here.

"Sorry about being late. A situation came up, but we're here," Naruto said, sitting in the booth. He pulled Hinata into the boot and the young girl's eyes widened when she saw Hinata. "I brought my girlfriend along. I hope that isn't a problem?" Naruto questioned the girl while still wearing a charming smile.

The girl looked like she was about to be in tears, but she shook her head. "No, it's no problem at all. The more the merrier," She smiled, painfully.

"Great!"

Hinata was dumbfounded, yet oddly satisfied to see the look of defeat on the girl's face. It was almost 8:15 PM when she and Naruto entered the ramen shop, and the girl was still here. She remained quit the entire time as Naruto spoke with Hinata, and she would occasionally glance at Naruto in hopes he had noticed her dolled up face, but he didn't. His eyes the entire time was either focused on his ramen or his girlfriend.

He saw the way he looked at her and that made her stomach feel queasy, and then she saw how his girlfriend would glare at her from time to time.

She shifted uncomfortably, and her heart even dropped to her stomach when he kissed her in front of her!

Once everything was done, and Hinata had gotten her cinnamon roll, Naruto thanked the young girl before he and Hinata left.

For some reason, Hinata felt alive and shocked that something like that happened. The bill was roughly sixty dollars, and she paid for the entire thing.

"What just happened?" Hinata asked suddenly.

"We got a free meal and you got yourself a cinnamon roll," Naruto hummed.

"But she clearly wanted to see you. She was quite surprise when she saw me."

"Very surprised," Naruto said, holding onto Hinata's hand.

She stopped and he looked back. "Does this kind of thing happen often?"

He thought about it and smiled like it was an accomplishment. "Yeah, I suppose."

"But how did you know she was going to stay there and pay for everything?"

"She waited for almost an hour, and she doesn't even know my name," Naruto scoffed. "Not sure if it's crazy or just being committed," He mumbled. "Was it fun?"

"I suppose it was," She grinned. "Yeah, actually it was fun."

"Perfect!"

.

.

.

"Naruto, can you answer the door?" Tsunade asked, peeping her head out of the room.

"Hai, hai," Naruto replied. He jumped from the barstool and made his way to the front entrance. He opened it slowly and there stood a mailman who held a present box. Naruto's eyes twinkled by the square box in his hands.

"Naruto Uzumaki?"

He nodded.

"Here you go and Happy early birthday," The young mailman smiled cheekily.

"Thanks," He grabbed the box from the man's hand.

"Uh, um I've seen you here a few- The man jumped back when Naruto slammed the door shut on him.

He walked into the living room and shook the present, but he couldn't make out what was inside.

"Who was that?" Tsunade asked, entering the living room.

"Mailman. Thanks for the early present." He said, getting ready to rip into it.

Tsunade stared at the present box strangely and she knew that her or Jiraiya had not purchased a present for Naruto yet. Then her eyes suddenly widened. She grabbed the box from Naruto who was able to tear it just a little.

"Baa-chan!" He cried.

"Ah, they sent the wrong one," She rubbed the back of her head. "You weren't supposed to get this one."

Naruto crossed his arms and pouted. "I'm pretty sure I'll like whatever is inside." His eyes suddenly sparkled when she held a $100 bill in front of him.

"Didn't you say you were going on a double date with Sasuke. Knock yourself out."

She didn't need to say anything as he took the money from her. "Thanks Baa-chan! I'm heading out." He said, turning his back on her.

"Enjoy and be safe, Naruto."

"Mhm,"

Tsunade was able to breathe when Naruto left the house. She held the box up and glared at it, suspiciously. The door to her study room, opened slowly and she entered her safe haven. She threw the box on the brown table and

Tsunade looked over the game and was confused. Maybe Jiraiya had brought Naruto a present, but why would it be a board game? She knew the man was not as active in Naruto's or her life due to work, but surely, he had to know Naruto would be twenty in the next few days.

Who killed who?

Still, it did not sit well with her and she held the pits of her stomach. No, she was wrong. Jiraiya would never buy Naruto a game like this. Maybe some used underwear or some porn magazine, but certainly not a game of who killed who.

She tore the plastic wrap that protected the game box, and she swallowed the lump in her throat. It was like every nerve in her body tensed up and her mind told her to stop, don't open that box, but she couldn't resist. She knew for a fact Kurama had sent this present and it was not for Naruto. It was for her.
