Chapter 15: True colors revealed
Fun. This was what it was supposed to be. Good old fun… for them at least. Finding a vulnerable woman was so easy. A charming smile, charismatic tone, and compliments were one of the many things that would work on them. Surprisingly, this one didn't take much to wrap her around their murderous fingers.
They spotted a young brunette walking home alone, and one thing led to another, and she invited them into her small apartment. She was pretty, young, and vibrant; everything Kurama liked in a woman. Of course, Naruto wouldn't say anything but most of the women resembled Hana.
How cute.
While he was in the kitchen snacking on some grapes, Kurama was in the room fucking the poor woman senseless. Too bad she didn't know this would be her last fuck. Did he feel bad? No. Naruto never once felt remorse for killing anyone, not even the ones Kurama slaughtered. And what he like most about murdering people was someone watching him do it.
He mumbled a few cursed words under his breath as he felt himself getting hard. Just remembering Hinata that night of the murder made him feel on edge. Who knew she would have reacted that way? Whether she wanted to believe it or not, she enjoyed it. There was no denying it.
Placing his hands on the countertop, he lowered his head and stared at the kitchen tiles as if he was in a trance. He had to get rid of these urges because the main event was going to be happening soon.
Everything was laid out on the table. Everything! There were things she speculated Naruto had not told her, whether there was a reason or not for it. Just remembering Tsunade's shaken voice, and tears made her body tremble. Tsunade had cracked and she cried until her eyes were bloodshot red.
Despite the incident that happened between her and Tsunade, she knew the poor woman cared deeply about Naruto and his wellbeing.
Naruto had to endure a lot of tragic things. How could he possibly be sane? It would have been best for him to continue his treatment, but that solution was long gone. With the help of Tsunade who silently let things slide by and Kurama's influence, it damaged Naruto. Even she wasn't helping, but enabling his behavior.
If Tsunade had intervened, then maybe Naruto would have had a chance at a normal life but what was normal anyway?
Naruto wasn't normal.
She wasn't normal.
Both her parents abandoned her to Kurenai and made her feel like she was the bad juju of the family. They painted a narrative as if she did something so tragic that they had no choice but to ship her off to Kurenai. Any child would be confused! She was left to wonder what she did to deserve this? What could she have done to salvage her relationship with her parents?
Hinata loved Kurenai, and she knew Kurenai loved her just as Tsunade love Naruto, even if they didn't share the same blood. But although Kurenai took her in, Hinata knew her time was running short with the woman. Soon, Kurenai would have her own family and all the attention would fade from her and onto the new baby, just like Hanabi.
Then all she would have is Naruto.
That wasn't a bad thing because she was madly in love with him and she willingly looked past this entire situation. Her obsession wasn't normal, but again she wasn't.
On the night of the murder, she was willing to do anything he said, and that feeling was hard to explain. As much as she tried to forget about it, she couldn't. There would be days that night played in her mind, which caused her to get excited. It just wasn't normal!
Naruto certainly didn't care. No matter how many times she told him to stop, he still did it and the more he did it, the less she cared.
Hell, if she did care then she would have never pulled him back to finish off that girl. In a way, she was just like Tsunade. She turned a blind eye and allowed him to do anything he wanted.
This entire situation was sad yet funny that a slight giggle escaped her precious lips.
Naruto is a manipulator and a pretty good actor.
She glanced at the clock on her desk, and it read 11:30 PM.
The last she heard from Naruto he mentioned he went to meet with Kurama, and she could only assume the worse.
Maybe in the next life, things could be different. Who knows? Maybe their next encounter will be on a snowy day.

.
11:30 PM
The light from the cell phone stunned him momentarily as his eyes tried to adjust to the light. It was already 11:30 PM. He threw his bloody phone on the ground and looked around the dim room.
Blood.
It was everywhere and at this moment it was all he could think about.
On his right, there was a dead body of a young woman on the bed and his eyes couldn't help but watch it. There was no life whatsoever, yet it entertained him in a way only a person with the same mindset could understand.
Suddenly, the corner of his lips tugged up when a drop of blood slid down her busted lips. Kurama was currently showering in the bathroom, and here he was, smiling like someone who had met the love of their life.
But just as quickly as the smile came, it went away.
Don't get him wrong. Tonight's episode was such a harmonizing event filled with thrill and screams that he vowed he would never forget. Hell, he even came a little when she screamed. He enjoyed every bit of it, even if he was angry. The color from his eyes drained when he stared at the closed door. This was the first time he was able to participate in an actual murder with Kurama, yet somehow, he felt he soiled this precious moment because of the rage building on the inside.
He remembered Kurama's words about never killing out of anger, but how couldn't he? Kurama had to sense he was angry too and he had every right to be.
Just when he thought he didn't have any close family members, Kurama shows up and announces he's his uncle. That did damper his mood and made him question whether Kurama truly care for him or not. Probably not, but Naruto cared about him just as he cared about Hinata. These were the two people in his life he didn't want to leave him.
Squeezing the corpse's finger, he smiled sinisterly snapping her finger back.
Life could be so unfair.
Lights from the rising sun seeped through the open blinds which made him stir in his sleep. He just needed five more minutes before he got up, so he turned on his side and buried his head further into the soft pillow. It was so soft… His eyes snapped open, and he shot up. Frantically, his eyes searched the room back and forth and he did not know where he was. When had he fallen asleep? Where was he? The room was bare. No pictures decorated the walls. Nothing, except a bed and a dresser.
Slowly, he climbed off the bed and walked toward the dresser's mirror. Dried blood still decorated his face and body. His blonde hair was disheveled as if he was in a tornado. Now that he thought about it, his memory was coming back to him although it was a little fuzzy. He remembered Kurama bringing him to a car after he had fallen asleep while waiting for him to shower and that was it.
His eyes drifted back and forth in the room, and somehow it looked oddly familiar. Why did it look so much like his bedroom? Shrugging off the feeling, he opened the bedroom door, and he was startled to see Kurama sitting at the round table.
"Do you always sleep in so late?" Kurama questioned as he spread some strawberry jam on his toasted bread.
Naruto smiled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head. "Maybe." He replied teasingly. "Is this your place? Naruto asked, approaching Kurama.
"For now." He responded.
Kurama could have sworn he heard a crack coming from Naruto's neck when he snapped his head towards him.
"What do you mean for now? Are you leaving again?" A panic insinuated in Naruto, and he took a seat next to him which was a little too close for Kurama's liking.
"Aren't you a little too close?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.
"You're not answering my questions," Naruto said, shaking his head. "Are you leaving again?"
"Maybe. Maybe not." Kurama smirked. He always got a kick out of teasing his nephew. The boy was easy to read, and he knew he had him wrapped around his finger. Anything wrong Kurama did, Naruto could never hate him.
He balled his fist and looked down. "But you just got here." He whispered.
"Why are you always so needy, Naruto?" Kurama questioned, placing the toast down. "It can be quite overbearing."
"I am not needy!" He snapped at Kurama. "Why are you abandoning me again after so long? If you weren't coming back for good, then you should have never made that promise." His blue eyes wavered when Kurama grabbed him by his face and sunk his nails into his skin.
"Tsunade has failed to do her job as a parent I see." He hummed as he dug his nails deeper into Naruto's skin until he saw a drip of blood trying to seep out. "You're becoming quite relaxed with disrespecting me, Naruto."
He tried to yank his head away, but that only fueled Kurama's excitement. He grabbed some of Naruto's hair into his fist and yank his head to the side. "Naruto." His eyes screamed danger which made Naruto cast his eyes down.
"I'm sorry."
Letting go of his hair, Kurama patted him on his cheek. "Be a good boy, okay?"
"Are you going to leave again?" Naruto asked, rubbing his face.
"We'll discuss it when the time comes. I have some business to attend to today. So, you're going to have to leave."
Ouch.
"You don't expect me to leave like this?" He said, surprised.
"It's not like you live far," Kurama said, a coy smile noticeable on his face.
Naruto cocked his head to the side and sighed. "Whatever." He mumbled. "But if I get arrested, it's your fault." Getting up, he snatched the toasted bread from the plate and walked towards the door.
Kurama leaned back and watched as the young boy left. When the door closed, he looked at his hand and then back at the door.
When Naruto stepped into the hallway, his eye twitched rapidly as he looked over the familiar hallway.
Kurama was his next-door neighbor.

Overthinking, overanalyzing. These were the things Fugaku was currently going through, and he shouldn't have. The breakfast his wife, Mikoto, made smelt delicious and besides it was his day off.
But still…
This world was so cruel. One would rather take out their cell phone and record as someone dies instead of helping or calling for help. It was cruel… inhumane. How shameful. Has the world always been like this? When did it start?
These questions hunted Fugaku's mind and the minds of his fellow officers. How many killers were out there? Murderers? Enablers? How many sites did they shut down? Ten? Twelve? Does it matter? They always popped back up like a fly on shit.
His tired eyes searched the faces of his wife, two sons, and their best friend. They laugh and that made his stomach twist into knots. It almost seems as if they were mocking him. Are they unaware of the constant questions harboring his mind?
There was another killing… a young woman. She was only twenty-three.
Bloody body parts flashed throughout his mind, and the food Mikoto prepared tried to push its way up. All he could think of was his wife. What if the murderer had done those things to her?
He pressed his hand against his sweaty forehead and sunk deeper into his thoughts. This was different… this murder. This killing was done out of anger, frustration, and hatred. It's much different from the ones before and now he wondered if it was a different killer.
The crime scene was so gruesome, and it smelt so foul. He didn't want to imagine what that woman had to endure, and he almost prayed her death was quick.
That poor woman…
"Mr. Uchiha, are you feeling alright?"
Slowly, he raised his head and looked into those innocent blue eyes before he vomited uncontrollably.
Same Day, Konoha's Mall
Both boys stood idly by the entrance of the nail salon, while Karin and Hinata made their way in. While they were hanging out, Sasuke received a call from Karin begging for him to tag along to get her mani-pedi. It was only fair that he brought his best friend along, right? He almost scoffed as he watched the cutesy red hair girl look over the different colors with Hinata.
The strong smell of the nail polishes fragrant the air, and the different high-pitched voices rang endlessly throughout the nail salon. The boys were physically sick to their stomachs. They slowly backed away when they noticed the different looks they received by some of the women. The girly atmosphere was already too much for them, so they settled with sitting outside on a nearby bench.
"How did I end up here?" Naruto groaned as he threw his head back.
"You ate breakfast at my house for free. This is your compensation." Sasuke grumbled, crossing his arms.
"Speaking of breakfast, that was something else earlier, huh? Is your dad feeling better? I've never seen someone puke so much in my entire life!" The blonde boy exclaimed.
Sasuke's nose scrunched up as Naruto went into the details of what he saw in his father's puke. "Please stop talking about it." He mumbled. "The latest killing got to him." He replied with a sigh. "I don't understand how he could still eat after he saw what happened to that girl. He said it was the worse crime scene he had ever witnessed. I've never seen him so broken. Bodies are popping up left and right and they have no idea if it's the same killer or some shit like that."
Humming, Naruto nodded. "That sucks. He's probably losing his mind. Hopefully, they find this killer and put an end to this."
"I guess," Sasuke mumbled, shrugging his shoulders. "He's been on the job for almost thirty years. I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating."
"I don't think so," Naruto replied.
"Why did you take up for Sakura?" Sasuke finally asked the question that had been on his mind. "You do know she was wrong for what she did, right?"
"I was going to tell you," Naruto replied with an unconvincing tone.
"No, you weren't and it's not like we knew, nor cared to know about whatever you've been through," Sasuke said staring inside the nail salon. "I've never thought about hitting a girl, but I wanted to bash her skull in."
There was a twinkle in Naruto's eyes, unknown to Sasuke, and he turned his head slowly towards him. "It's okay," Naruto replied. "It's no big deal."
A small frown settled on Sasuke's face. "You always say that, but you're only encouraging her behavior. She's very comfortable in disrespecting you and you allow it."
"I do not," Naruto said, leaning back. "And like I said, it's not a big deal."
"If it wasn't, then why'd you come late to your birthday dinner? You know Hinata put in a lot of work." Sasuke said, eyeing him.
"Awe," Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke's own. "I knew you cared about me." He said, batting his eyelids. Sasuke frowned which made Naruto laugh. "I had an important guest over and lost track of time."
Sasuke raised his eyebrow. "More important than Hinata?"
"Who said Hinata was important?"
Hearing that response shocked Sasuke. From what he saw, he thought Hinata was important to him. Hell, didn't Kiba and he fought?
"I'm just joking." Naruto laughed. "Gotcha, didn't I?"
For some reason, that did not sit well with Sasuke. The way Naruto laughed and the way he spoke at times were not normal. Now that he thought about it, did any of the things he did was normal? He wasn't worried, but curious. Which one of these was Naruto's true face?
"Sasuke," Naruto said, poking his cheek. "What are you thinking about?"
"Just thinking about that ring, I saw not too long ago."
Naruto's eyes beamed and he kicked his legs back and forth. "You mean the one you saw at the jewelry store?"
"Yup."
"Ab—"
Feeling a vibration in his pocket, Sasuke pulled out his phone and read the text message sent by Karin. His face turned paler than normal which made Naruto raise his eyebrow.
"What is it?"
"I'm not doing it," Sasuke said, showing him the message. "There's no way I'm going in there to get my feet done. This is where I draw the line."
Naruto placed his hands on Sasuke's broad shoulders and shook the poor boy senselessly. "But what about the money?"
Sasuke looked at Naruto, then at the nail store salon.
Sasuke's body relaxed as the vibration from the spa's chair soothed his strained back. On each of his sides, two beautiful women were massaging his hands with a special lotion, while another woman rubbed his feet.
Naruto brought the straw next to Hinata's glossy lips and shimmered when she sipped from it. Currently, she was getting her fingernails painted in a nice peachy color. The nail tech kept glancing at Naruto and would smile every so often.
"Your boyfriend is nice and handsome."
Hinata flashed the nail tech a smile and nodded. "Yes, he is. Naruto you didn't want to get pampered like Sasuke?" She questioned, glancing at Sasuke who looked relaxed out of this world.
Unknown to him, Karin was taking pictures of him.
"No," Naruto said. "I would rather watch you."
The nail tech looked back and forth at the two, and Naruto raised his eyebrow slightly when he felt something rubbing against his leg. Looking down, he saw a pale leg rubbed against him and it was not Hinata's.
"Make sure you're focusing on her nails because if she complains about anything, I'm going to snap your fingers off one by one." His tone was cold and distant, yet serious at the same time.
The woman let out a sudden gasp, and Hinata laughed nervously. "He has a dark sense of humor. Please don't mind him. Right, Naruto?"
Humming, Naruto turned towards Hinata and smiled warmly. "Yes, babe. Here drink some more." He said placing the straw into her mouth. "Practice makes perfect." Hinata almost gagged on the drink she was sucking up and glared at Naruto. The boy batted his long eyelashes and gazed at her innocently. "What?"
Hinata puffed out her cheeks when Naruto pinched them. "My sweet Hinata," he said, lovingly. She noticed the look in his eyes, and she couldn't help but be flattered. There was just something about the way he looked at her, and she knew he could never harm her.
Naruto and Sasuke stood idly against the walls as they listened to Karin and Hinata chatter about their next stop. Sasuke was sparkling, and Naruto kept snickering which made Sasuke stick his nose in the air.
"You're so spoiled," Naruto commented. "I feel sorry for your wife."
"You should be the last to talk." Sasuke shot back. "I've seen the text message between you and Tsunade. You have that poor woman wrapped around your finger."
"I sure do!" He replied, happily.
Opening his arms wide, Hinata made her way into him, and he embraced her. "You're so soft like a marshmallow." He mumbled. "Isn't it getting colder? Why are you still wearing skirts?" He asked.
"It isn't that cold," Hinata replied, looking down at her feet. "It's still nice and warm. Where did you and Kurama go last night, Naruto?" She questioned, looking up at him.
"Hmm, somewhere," Naruto said, tightening his grip around her.
"We're going to K's Fashion Boutique," Karin announced. She wrapped her arm around Sasuke's and dragged him towards the high-end clothing store.
"Oh. What did you two talk about?" She asked, holding his hand.
Naruto felt his upper lip twitch, but he quickly shook off the thought. "Why the sudden questions babe?"
"You seem happier than usual, and you even came home late, extremely late." She added.
Chuckling, he squeezed her hand tightly. "Oh, come on. Did you think we had fun last night or something?"
Eyeing him from the corner of her eyes, she replied, "Are you going to lie to me and say you didn't?" His silence confirmed it, and Hinata yanked her hand away from him.
"You know I don't like when you do that," Naruto said.
"And I don't like when you do that." She said, shooting him a glare.
"You liked it last time," Naruto mumbled.
Hinata's face flushed, and Naruto quickly took a hold of her. "I'm sorry for upsetting you." He said, caressing her hand. "Do you forgive me?"
"I do, but we need to have a serious talk about this tonight. I don't want to lose you, Naruto." Hinata said, worriedly. "What will I do if something happens?"
"We have this conversation every single time, Hinata and I always tell you the same answer," Naruto said, looking down at her. "Why do you pretend you don't like it? You were turned on by it last time."
She lowered her head. "I'm just trying to protect you and last time…." She went quiet as she couldn't find the right words to say. Last time she did enjoy it, but the slob had it coming! He would have probably done it to some other person, right? "But what about karma—"
"I'll remain by your side, always." He reassured her.
"You say it so casually," Hinata mumbled.
"You're going to get yourself upset and ruin that pretty face," He whispered, cupping her cheeks. "We'll talk about this later tonight."
Karin browsed around the boutique with Sasuke. The man was bored out of his mind as she spoke about the different outfits. She was cute, but the outfits she chose were something that would not flatter her body type.
"Karin, maybe you should dress more youthful." He said, looking over a more youthful section. She glanced at him, and her smile turned upside down. "Ah, why are you going to cry?" He asked, slightly annoyed. "I may not have any sisters, but I'll show you how to dress." He said, slinging his arm around her.
Hinata was glancing through some blouses until she saw the price, her heart almost sank to the pits of her stomach. "Karin has some expensive taste." She laughed nervously, placing the blouse back.
"Do you see something you like?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah, but it's okay. I'm sure I can find it somewhere cheaper." Hinata said, pushing him away from the rack.
"Tell me what you want, and I'll buy it for you." He said, turning around. "What blouse do you want?"
"No. No. It's okay, Naruto."
Naruto picked up the ivory blouse she had put back and turned around. "I think this will look nice on you. Why don't you try it on so I can see?"
"It's almost forty dollars." She grumbled.
"And? Hinata, need I remind you who I am?" He said, looking through the clothing rack. Blushing, she stood beside him and gazed at the clothes he'd picked for her. "I want to see you try these on, please!" He begged.
Sighing in defeat, she took the clothes from him and left to try them on.
Naruto stood outside the dressing room and would occasionally glance at Sasuke who was picking out some clothes for Karin. Looking around, it wasn't that many people, and the workers were either at the cashier or helping somebody else.
Hinata stepped out from behind the curtain, and slowly twirl around for Naruto who ravished her entire body with his eyes. She wore a tight-fitting black dress that reach above her knees. "Every girl needs a black dress, right?" He smiled. "I like it. Do you?"
"I do, but it's so costly—"
"It's not like you're paying for it right?" Naruto asked. The smile he wore never left his face. "Babe, if you're going to be with me, then I can't have you feeling guilty about this. If the opportunity to use people arises, then take it. Didn't I show you that at the ramen store?"
"But you're my boyfriend." She tucked her lips out.
"If you stand outside any longer with that dress on, I'm going to join you."
She quickly ran back into the room which made Naruto chuckle. That gave him a naughty idea.
As Hinata was trying to put on another outfit, the curtain shifted and soon Naruto was visible. Her eyes widened and she stuttered in shock, "W-what a-are you doing in here?"
"I'm just joining you." He said, backing her against the wall. She gazed up at him, and her cheeks turned red when Naruto ran his hand up and down her pale leg.
"Naru—" He quickly sealed her lips with a kiss and a slight gasp almost escaped her lips when she felt Naruto rub against her entrance in a slow, circular motion.
Here she was, half-naked in a dressing room and the fact that there were people around made her nervous yet curious. What if they were caught?
"What if someone catches us?" She questioned, squeezing her thighs together.
"They're not. Sasuke's out there, so you have nothing to worry about." He whispered in her ear. "Hinata," he said teasingly. "I want you."
"Now?"
"Yes, now."
He pushed himself against her and Hinata felt how hard he was. That made her legs tremble, but that didn't deter him from rubbing her hand over his jeans. This was so risky, but there was a little piece of her that was thrilled to be trying something new. He unzipped his jeans, and Hinata went down on her knees.
Opening her mouth, Naruto slid his dick in slowly and shivered.
What an eventful day!
Sasuke crossed his arms as he leaned back against the wall.
Karin looked around and she pouted when she couldn't find Hinata. "Sasuke, where's Naruto and Hinata? I don't see them."
"They should be done soon." He mumbled.
"Done soon? Where did they go?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Trying on some clothes." He replied in a stoic tone.
"Trying on—" That's when she looked down and her eyes widened. "I'll go look for some more clothes." She said, quickly leaving the dressing room area.
Chuckling, Sasuke shook his head. "Ah, she can be so childish." He said, eyeing the golden ring. "How did he know this was the one I wanted? Such a strange child."
Tsunade sighed loudly as she folded her freshly washed clothes. The beige straps of her nightgown drooped slightly, and she would readjust it every so often. Silently, she was praying for all of this to end and if it meant dying in the process then so be it. She was running out of options, and she couldn't find a way to show or convince Naruto that she loved him.
Being a cop for so long, she never expected a case like this to swindle her feelings and caused her to turn a blind eye. Yes, she agreed with Kurama. It was her fault for the way Naruto turned out. Maybe if she had just let him die the afternoon he jumped from the rooftop then everything would have been fine, right?
But how could she? He was so precious, so sweet, and kind. Or was it all a ruse? Did he lie about his emotions? Did he lie about wanting to be with her? Was all of it his plan to get him out of the facility? The more she thought about it, the less plausible it seemed. Maybe he truly did want to be with her.
Thinking about that made her smile a little. Deep down inside, her little Gaki cared about her and would never lay a hand on her.
Her topaz eyes lingered on the picture of her and Jiraiya together, and she couldn't help but frown. He reached out to her two days ago stating he would be home… two days ago.
Tsunade grabbed the clothes off the bed and walked toward the dresser. As she opened the dresser drawer, her bedroom closed, and she glanced up. The color from her drained completely, and she shot up.
"Why do you look surprised to see me, Tsunade? Didn't I tell you I'll probably see you next time?" Kurama said, smiling sinisterly.
She backed away slowly. "Kurama, don't be stupid. Leave now! Jiraiya should be back shortly, and if you don't want any problems you should go."
"Then that'll be even better, right?" He said, inching himself closer to her. "If he doesn't make it, I'll make sure to leave him a present that'll be quite noticeable."
.
.
.
Hinata's legs trembled as Naruto led her to Karin's car. She could still feel him ramming in and out of her and thinking about such a thing made her mind go wild. The pleasure of his shaft going in and out of her at a fast pace made her heart swell. The way he covered her mouth to stop her from moaning out his name made her chew her lips. And the mere thought of Sasuke and the others being outside, most likely listening made her both embarrassed and excited.
As Naruto was placing the shopping bags in the trunk of the car, his phone rang and he looked at the caller ID. Surprisingly, it was Jiraiya. Jiraiya barely calls him, and he wondered what could have happened to have the man reach out to him at eight in the night.
He pushed the phone back into his pocket, but the phone continued to ring. Annoyed, he picked up the phone but before he could utter a word, Jiraiya said, "Tsunade's house. Now!"
In the background, he heard Tsunade shouting at him, and he sighed before disconnecting the call. He wondered what happened this time.
"You don't have to come, Hinata. I'll be okay." Naruto reassured her once he explained the issue.
"But I want to." Hinata insisted. "Did something happen to her?"
Naruto scoffed. "She probably fell on her ass after drinking so much. He probably needs my help since he sounds a little intoxicated himself." Raising his eyebrow, he stared at her suspiciously. "Why are you concerned about her? She was a total bitch towards you."
"I still have a heart Naruto." She frowned.
Punching in the numbers to the gate, Naruto climbed up the stairs and made his way into the house. It shouldn't take long to help two intoxicated adults. He had done it many times before, but still, that call made him uneasy.
"Baa-chan," Naruto said, putting on a happy tone. "I'm home."
Turning the corner of the living room, Naruto stopped walking which made Hinata collide with his back. Sitting on the chair were Tsunade and Jiraiya was there beside her. It had been a while since he has last seen the man, and he didn't look any different.
Hinata peeped her head around the corner and was mortified to see Tsunade in such a condition. Her right eye was completely shut, and her face had purple blotches throughout. Her lip split in the middle, and her hair was disheveled.
Her entire appearance screamed bloody murder and Hinata almost puked.
"What happened?" Naruto asked, concerned. Jiraiya glared at Naruto, which the blonde noticed. "What happened?" He shouted louder.
"You did this to her, didn't you?!" Jiraiya shouted.
He was taken back by the sudden accusation. "Why would I do something like that to baa-chan?" Naruto barked. "I would never do something like that in a million years."
"Jiraiya, please," Tsunade said, wrapping her hands around his forearm. "I already told you that Naruto didn't do this. I left the door opened and somebody must have followed me inside."
Jiraiya was outraged, rocking back and forth. He had arrived thirty minutes ago to see Tsunade soaking in the tub. His face twisted in complete horror when he saw the state she was in. Clothes were thrown around, pillows were scattered throughout the floor, and the bed… Even in his drunken state, he recognized a crime scene.
He was afraid to ask her if she was….
"Why couldn't you be more cautious? Check your surroundings?" His voice slurred and he hunched over. "Did you file the police report?"
"I rather not. I'm fine. Nothing happened. He just hit me a few times." She mumbled.
He snapped his head towards Naruto who was kneeling beside Tsunade. "You should have been here with her! Because you weren't here, Tsunade was attacked."
"Jiraiya, please," Tsunade said, trying to get the drunken man to calm down. "I already told you it isn't Naruto's fault."
"Oh, stop it! You always take up for him. You're the reason he's so fucking spoiled. I told you not to let him move out. If he was here, then this wouldn't have happened." He said, getting up.
"Seriously?" Naruto said, baffled. "Isn't it your job to protect her? You're the one who's never home!"
That outburst left Jiraiya speechless, and he continued to rock back and forth on his heels. Then he noticed another person standing by the entrance of the living room.
"Who is that?" He spat, pointing to the young girl. She eased her way next to Naruto as she tried to avoid the man's eyes.
"This is Hinata. My girlfriend." He muttered. Looking at Tsunade, Naruto stared at the bruise around her neck. Gently, he stroked her hand which caught her attention.
Smiling, she held his hand. "I'm fine. It's okay."
"Was it Kurama?" Naruto whispered.
"You have a girlfriend?" Jiraiya said in disbelief. "I always thought you were gay since you always begged for Kurama that fucking bastard. I want Kurama. Kurama come get me," he said, imitating a young Naruto. "You should have left him like I said, Tsunade."
Hinata was shaken. How callous! What man would say such a thing. She looked at Naruto expecting him to snap, but he didn't.
"I'll put him in the guest room," Naruto said, grabbing Jiraiya by his arm. "Let's go you old fart."
Once Naruto was out of earshot, Hinata turned to Tsunade and mumbled. "Was it him?"
"Be careful of that man," Tsunade mumbled. "Be very careful."
Naruto closed the door behind him and walked into the kitchen. He hummed softly which gathered the attention of Hinata and Tsunade. They heard him digging through the draws, and Tsunade shot up. "Naruto, what are you doing?"
"I'm going to kill Jiraiya." He said, calmly. He looked over the knife and nodded. "Self-defense. He attacked you then came after me, so I stabbed him to help you."
"Naruto!" Hinata cried. "You mustn't make any rash decisions."
"I'm not. I finally have an opportunity to kill him." Naruto scoffed. "He's a drunken bastard who doesn't care about you, baa-chan. I'll take care of him." He said, getting ready to march into the room until Hinata grabbed him by his ear.
"Didn't we have this discussion!" Hinata said, grabbing the knife from him and throwing it in the sink. She pulled him into the living room.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Naruto groaned when Hinata squeezed it even tighter. "You're seriously going to be the death of me." She grumbled.
Tsunade sat back down and held her chest. "Aha." She laughed. "So, Kurama was right this entire time. You killed those people."
Naruto let out a quick chuckle. "Oh, so he told you. I figured he would do something like that, baa-chan." He said smiling. "But let's not sugar coat it. Kurama did this to you, didn't he?" She nodded. "What did you do?"
Of course, he already knew the answer to that. Nothing. If Kurama wanted to mess around or have fun, then so be it. It didn't matter who you were or what you were doing. If he wanted you, then he will have you.
"I'm too tired, gaki," Tsunade mumbled. "Don't mind what Jiraiya said earlier. I'll talk to you later." She said, getting up slowly. Hinata went to help her, but Tsunade shook her head. As she walked toward him, she gave him a quick hug and muttered, "I love you." Then she squeezed him tighter. "I know, you know what's about to happen, Naruto. You can't have your cake and eat it too." With those final words, she stumbled towards the guest bedroom.
The car ride to his home was very quiet, and Sasuke and Karin were puzzled by the odd silence from them. Naruto looked out the window as if he was in deep thought, while Hinata had her head lowered. Karin kept glancing at Sasuke for some form of explanation, but they could only guess that the two probably argued while inside.
"You can't have your cake and eat it too."
Those words kept playing back in his mind during the entire car ride. For some reason, he knew things were going to be harder moving forward.

The stars twinkled in the night sky, and the full moon looked illuminating as ever. Hinata couldn't stop herself from watching it until Naruto called out to her.
"You don't have to sleep here tonight, Hinata. It's okay to have Karin drop you home." He said, taking some of the shopping bags out of the trunk of the car.
"Are you chasing me away, Naruto Uzumaki?"
An even smile conquered Naruto's face and he shook his head. "I'm not. Why don't we warm some popcorn and watch a movie tonight?"
"Yes, please." She said in a cheery tone. "Um… Naruto."
"Hmmm?"
"He won't do that to me, right?"
The atmosphere suddenly turned cold, and completely silent between the two before Naruto cracked an unsettling smile.
"Do you remember what I told you that night at the party, Hinata?"
"Something about being nice to him?" She said unsurely.
"Exactly. Be nice." Naruto said, slamming the trunk down.
That response wasn't something Hinata expected. What did he mean by that? He hadn't even answered her question.
"Are you—"
"Let's go." He interrupted her. "See ya later Sasuke and Karin!" Naruto smiled cheekily. "Don't forget to wrap it up."
Hinata turned red along with Karin.
"I'm going to kill you!" Sasuke stuck his head out the car's window.
"Not if I kill you first." Naruto chuckled. "Ja ne!"
Sasuke grumbled a few swear words before he sped off, leaving a dust cloud behind him.
"Come on."
Some cold airbrushed past them, and Naruto's smile grew wider when he saw Kurama sitting down on the couch, reading. The man hadn't even bothered to look in his direction.
"Kurama-nii!" Naruto shouted as he placed the bags on the floor. "I wasn't expecting you to be here tonight." He said, truthfully. The way Kurama acted this morning made him feel like he did not want to be near him.
The mere mention of his name made Hinata shake, and it was as if all the nerves in her muscles went into a frenzy. They screamed, "This is the man who's going to kill you! Run! Run!"
Sensing her trembling, Naruto brushed her hand to reassure her everything was fine.
"I just got in." He replied in an uninterested tone.
Naruto closed the door behind him, and that's when Kurama finally decided to look in his direction. A smug look appeared on his face, unknown to Naruto and Hinata.
Sensing someone looking at her, Hinata tucked herself behind Naruto who almost fell over because of her.
"Are you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?"
Laughing nervously, Naruto stepped to the side which caused Hinata to loosen her grip on his shirt. "She's a little shy, but this is Hinata." He introduced her, pulling her to the front of him. "Hinata, this Kurama-nii."
When she finally dared to look at the man who was now in front of her, her eyes widened. The moment she walked inside, she knew that scent smelt familiar, and she couldn't believe it. This man, who she had met not too long ago at the college, was Naruto's adopted father and uncle, Kurama.
He cracked a smile and nodded. "Ah, so this is Hinata! What a small world. I already met her when I stopped by Konoha University."
Unknowingly, Naruto balled his fist then let it go. "Oh really?" He said, eyeing Hinata. "When was this?"
"A few weeks ago," Hinata replied timidly. "It's a pleasure to meet you again, Kurama." She bowed.
"Likewise, Hinata. It's a good thing you're with Naruto because I would have snatched you up."
Hinata nervously look into his eyes and was surprised to find they were so gentle and warm like Naruto's own. It didn't seem as if he would hurt her as Tsunade described.
"Well, I don't want to interrupt whatever you two had planned, so I'll leave," Kurama said, grabbing the phone from the couch.
Naruto was stuck in his mind, and he was getting angrier by the second. Did everyone meet Kurama before he did? What the fuck?!
"Um, Kurama…" Hinata said, tugging at the man's long black sleeve.
He turned his head around, and some pink dust splattered all over Hinata's cheeks. Kurama was handsome, and the resemblance between him and Naruto was quite uncanny!
"I'm sorry." She quickly let go of his shirt and bowed. "We were going to watch a movie. Why don't you stay and watch with us?"
Naruto snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Hinata's request. His eyes instantly locked onto Kurama's own, and that's when Naruto saw something ignite in his eyes. For some reason, he felt his relationship with the Hyuga girl would be tested.
Kurama was very persuasive, and when he had his eyes set on someone, he could take them.
"That sounds lovely, Hinata but I have prior engagements," Kurama responded.
"Naruto always talks about you, and how he misses you. Maybe we can have dinner sometime?" Hinata suggested. Naruto watched as she batted her eyelashes in front of Kurama and that almost left him speechless. Her entire demeanor did not sit right with him. The way she batted her eyes, the pink stain on her cheeks, and… his heart stopped. She was casually touching him. His Hinata was touching his Kurama!
"If Naruto doesn't mind, then we can arrange something," Kurama said, eyeing him.
"Not at all! My two favorite people around me would make me happy!" Naruto replied, grinning. "You know Hinata is an awesome cook. Maybe she can cook for us one day?"
"What's your favorite food, Kurama?" Hinata asked.
The grin Naruto wore completely washed away. Wasn't she afraid of Kurama just not too long ago? Why was she so eager?
"I can answer that. It's ramen!" Naruto smiled.
Hinata glanced at Kurama to confirm if it was true. "Naruto, I thought you knew me like the back of your hand. Why would you ever think ramen was my favorite food?"
"I bet it's spicy curry, right?" Hinata giggled when Kurama nodded. "I was right!"
The color drained from Naruto's face. He squeezed his fist every so often. His Hinata was flirting…. He didn't want to believe it, but she was! Did she not see what he did to Tsunade? What he was capable of?
Naruto felt pushed to the side as Hinata and Kurama did most of the talking. He did not like it… one bit.
To see the blonde in a foul mood was very strange. Nobody had ever seen the boy in such a mood. It was becoming taboo, so all day different students and faculty members approached the boy to see if he was fine.
"Did Hinata break up with you?"
"Did something happen between you and Hinata?"
"Are you still friends with Kiba? We heard what happened."
He put on a reassuring smile and told them he was fine… he was anything but fine. Last night, after Kurama left, he stayed up most of the night while Hinata slept beside him. From time to time, he would look at her and then think about Kurama. Was he messing with his emotions?
It was four in the afternoon, and the halls were empty besides someone's ass sticking out from the school's closet. Whoever it was, was very skinny and pale. Naruto hid behind the corner and peeped his head out to see if he was correct and he was. That pale skin only could belong to one person… Sai.
"The eyes are the window to your soul; do you believe that Naruto Uzumaki? You know they never lie."
Turning his head, he stared straight into Sai's eyes and cracked a smile. "I suppose they are."
"So, tell me this, why is it that your soul is black and wicked?"
Naruto didn't have a personal vendetta against Sai, and he almost applauded him for not being stupid to his true nature. He would have walked by him, without so much as uttering a word but being in a foul mood Naruto decided to have some juvenile fun. He couldn't kill him, but he could certainly torture him.
He turned back around and entered an empty class to grab a chair. When Sai leaned back into the closet to grab some more supplies, Naruto walked by and shoved him into the closet then placed the chair under the doorknob.
A soft yelp escaped Sai's mouth when he fell into the tight room. Before he could turn around to see who pushed him, the door closed and any light that was there was no more. He groaned loudly as he held his forehead. Whoever pushed him, did it with such force that he ended up landing face-first into some supplies. Then it suddenly hit him. His entire body began to tremble when he felt a warm substance ooze down his forehead and the tight room become tighter. If there was anything that frightened Sai, it was blood and being trapped in a small room.
Turning around, he tried to open the door, but it would not budge. He screamed for help, yet there was no response.
"Is anyone there! Please help!" He begged. "I'm bleeding and—"
Upon hearing that, the corner of Naruto's lips tugged up happily. Sai was bleeding. For some reason, that was oddly satisfying to know.
The afternoon sky was quickly approaching, and Naruto was waiting outside for Hinata to join him. He needed to talk to her about yesterday's events because it truly did upset him. Maybe she didn't understand his warnings? Or maybe she did? Yet again, Kurama was a charmer. Had she fallen in love with him?
He shook his head. That couldn't be it. She wouldn't dare betray him because if she did… his thoughts went dark.
"Naruto, Ino hasn't spoken to me ever since your birthday party. Why does she hate me?" Sakura asked, sitting beside him.
He closed his eyes momentarily as he tried to soak up the rest of his peaceful afternoon. Being around Sakura was not good right now. Being around anyone, besides Hinata, was not good.
"Are you ignoring me?" She sounded heartbroken. "Naruto, you know—"
"You talk too much, Sakura." Naruto sighed, opening his eyes. "I'm really busy—"
"But you understand I didn't mean anything malicious by it right?" She asked as she scooted closer to him. "I care about you."
"I know you do, Sakura b—"
Naruto looked at her fingers that touched his forearm. "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" She said in a more suggestive tone. "I understand I haven't been a good friend, and I constantly put Sasuke's needs before yours, but I truly do care for you Naruto."
Needs? He almost chuckled. If he wanted someone to suck his dick, then he could have whipped out his dick and any girl would suck him off. If he wanted to fuck someone, a simple call would do. He would rather kill than fuck, and right now Sakura was so close to dying by his hands.
Raising his eyebrow, he stared at Sakura strangely. He already knew where this was heading.
"So, which one isn't given you dick anymore?" He moved his arm away from her. "Lee, Sasuke, or Kiba?"
Rolling her eyes, she scooted closer to Naruto. "Naruto, I've been doing a lot of thinking and Ino is right. I should have given you a chance. You were the only one who's been nice to me, shown me what it's like to be with somebody who genuinely cares." She looked down briefly before staring at him. "I know you're dating Hinata, so maybe we can keep this our secret?"
Naruto looked down to see her small hand rubbing his thigh. "Plus, I'm way more experienced than Hinata. What do you say?"
"You're very persistent, Sakura and that's not a good thing. Sometimes it's best not to involve yourself in other people's lives because it may just save you." Naruto said moving her hand away from him. "Being a good fuck isn't the only thing men look for."
"How would you know? You've only had one girlfriend." Sakura spoke in an annoyed tone. "I bet I can fuck you way better than Hinata. You'll practically be eating out of the palm of my hands."
"I'm not Kiba or Sasuke." Naruto replied, irritated. "I don't do sloppy seconds."
Sakura's mouth dropped open. "Are you calling me a slut?"
"Yes," Naruto said, glancing over the text message Hinata had sent him. She would be there in the next minute or so. Suddenly, the corner of his lips tugged up. "Sakura, do you really want to fuck me?" Her eyes slightly widened when he said that. "Would you suck my dick if I asked you to?"
"Now?"
"Yes, right here, right now. There's no one here to see." Naruto said, looking up at her. "I've always wondered what your mouth felt like. Sasuke always bragged about it."
Sakura looked around, and sure enough, no one was in the area they were in. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time she sucked someone's dick in public. She looked over Naruto briefly, then at his crotch area. She had never had sex with Naruto, but that didn't stop her from thinking about it.
"I can." She spoke softly. Her hands roamed Naruto's forearm, and they stared into each other's eyes. Sakura closed her eyes, and slowly leaned into Naruto until—
"Sakura, what the fuck is wrong with you! How many times do I have to say no!"
Her eyes shot open, and she stared at Naruto confused. "Wha—"
Unexpectedly, she was shoved to the ground by an enraged Hinata. Sakura held her head and looked back at Hinata who was panting uncontrollably. Behind her, stood Ino and Kiba.
"Sakura, what the hell!" Ino said, giving her a disgusting look.
Naruto got up and held Hinata's hand. "Calm down babe. It's—"
"No! Don't tell me to calm down! She's crossed the line too many times and this is it!"
Sakura was dumbfounded by what just happened. One, Hinata shoved her to the ground, and two, Naruto was acting as if he did not just tell her he wanted his dick sucked!
"Sakura," Kiba said, disappointed.
"Wait! No! No! N-Naruto, you asked me to suck your dick just now!" Sakura said, standing up. "Tell them the truth!"
"Why would I say that knowing Hinata was on her way?" Naruto questioned, giving her a disapproving look. "Sakura, I'm ashamed of your actions. I've looked past everything you've done to me, including the incident on my birthday, but this I can't handle."
She felt stuck and all eyes were glued on her. "That's not what happened!
"What happened during your birthday?" Hinata questioned, glancing at Naruto.
Ino had never seen Hinata look so upset, but who could blame her. Sakura had crossed the line too many times.
"It's nothing… I don't—"
"Naruto!"
"Here," Kiba said, showing Hinata the phone. She reviewed the text, and her eyes watered.
"W-what kind of friend are you?" Hinata said, shooting Sakura an ugly glare. "How could you be so cruel as to treat Naruto like this?"
Sakura's eyes widened when she saw the smug look Naruto gave her. Her body trembled when she saw his eyes. Everything Kiba said played back in her mind, and he was right. Naruto was crazy.
"Kiba, you're—"
"Shut up! Kiba snarled as he glared at her dangerously. "How shallow can you possibly be?"
As they each walked past her, Naruto approached her and smiled. "You stupid bitch. I said suck my dick not kiss me," He grabbed his bag from the bench. "Ne, sorry Sakura, but maybe next time you should listen to Kiba." His voice sent a shiver down her spine and her heart was beating out of control.
Kiba was right.
It was deadly silent in the living room as the two did not talk to one another. Hinata was still fuming by this afternoon's event, and she had a hard time controlling her anger. Seeing another woman on Naruto like that messed with her emotions, especially her being Sakura! She knew she couldn't trust that pink hair bitch, and why the hell would Naruto forget to tell her what happened during his birthday.
"Hinata," Naruto said, in an unusual tone.
"Yes?"
"Why did you look at Kurama like that last night?" That tone was still there. It was soft, yet cold and chilling.
"What do you mean?" She turned to face him.
"Why did you look at him like how you look at me?" Naruto said, gazing at the blank television screen.
"I was being nice as you said," Hinata mumbled.
"Nice? I remembered I told you to be nice but was it necessary to flirt with him in my presence?"
"Flirting?" She tilted her head to the side.
Naruto shook his head. "You were blushing and- and—" Remembering how she looked pissed him off. Remembering how Kurama looked pissed him off. It felt as if his whole world was spiraling because he knew already. He knew what would happen. "You're mine—"
His eyes widened when he felt her soft touch on his hand. The darkness that tried to consume him was disappearing and when he looked at Hinata, his eyes widened. She was glaring at him.
"Why are you the one upset? I didn't do anything with Kurama, unlike you who had Sakura around you after I told you how I felt."
"I've never—"
Hinata had never felt such anger. It was like something was consuming her very being. Just seeing Sakura lean over to Naruto ready to kiss him made her stomach bubble. A very dark thought came to mind when she witnessed that. She wanted to bash Sakura's head in with a rock.
Cutting him off, she spoke in a sharp tone, "I don't care. Don't let it happen again."
Naruto was dumbfounded by Hinata's reaction and tone. Looking into her eyes was like— His eyes widened.
"Hinata, Naruto," Kurenai called out from her bedroom.
"Yes?" Hinata said, smiling sweetly.
"I want to get your opinion about some baby clothes. Can you two come here please?"
"Coming, Kurenai!" She said, jumping from the sofa. She glanced over Naruto, then walked merrily towards the room.
Naruto was stuck on the couch. Any further movement would have made him come all over his pants. That entire interaction did something to him, and the way she looked at him made him smile uncontrollably. He covered his mouth as he tried to conceal his laughter.

There was a slight vibration from the incoming messages coming from the cellphone that was lounged under the pillow. Deep blue eyes stared at the young girl sleeping. The corner of his lips tugged upwards, and he smiled sinisterly.
"You can't have your cake and eat it too."
"Of course not, Tsunade, but you should know… I'll always get what I want."
