OPS.

'What do you mean you won't be home for Thanksgiving?' Hetty asked.

'Mission was extended. I'm really sorry.' Granger sadly replied.

'I was planning on inviting everyone over to my house for Thanksgiving! I might as well cancel it now.'

'No, please don't. You don't have to be alone on Thanksgiving because of me.'

'They'd all bring dates, and I'd be the only 1 without one, and that'd be too embarrassing in my own house.' Hetty insisted.

'The thought of my girlfriend being all by herself on Thanksgiving, makes me feel terrible inside. If that sounds too sappy, feel free to laugh.' Granger replied.

Stunned. 'You, called me your girlfriend.'

'Oops. I, meant to say partner.'

'No! No, it's okay. It's actually quite nice. I suppose it'll be nice to invite everyone over. Maybe I can find someone to fill in for you.' Hetty said, slightly stammered.

'I'll call you on Thanksgiving. Enjoy yourself!' Granger finished.

Thanksgiving, Hetty's private office.

'Hi! How's it going?' Granger asked.

'Dinner's cooking, everyone is enjoying themselves. I'm just taking a break from the hoopla.' Hetty replied.

'Did you find a replacement for me?'

'Unfortunately, when Mr. Callen brought Anna with him, she brought her father, and he's the only other one besides me who doesn't have a plus one. And I lied and told him that my date was coming.'

'The thought of being Arkady's plus one is that bad, huh?' Granger asked.

'Gag worthy!' Hetty replied, and laughed.

'Well, you look happy, and that makes me happy.'

'To tell the truth, even if there was another single man here, I wouldn't really want to ask him to be a fill in.'

'Why?'

'Because I wouldn't want to replace my boyfriend with anyone else.' Hetty sweetly said.

Stunned. 'Did, you just call me your boyfriend?' Granger asked.

'I did, and on purpose I might add!'

Granger was trying not to blush.

'Well, I should get back down stairs. I hope you have a nice evening.' Hetty said.

'You too. Enjoy your gathering, girlfriend (wink).'

'Oh you… (chuckle).'
