Kamen Rider Mythos
Myth 7: Brothers United!
Midday Shinjuku, a crowded shopping center, three weeks after Taiga Kinami became Demi…..
It was a quiet day, people were idly shopping and chatting amongst themselves, not a care in the world. That is until multiple Tartarians appeared, beginning to attack those that were in their way. Growling at those around them and in general just causing chaos and destruction.
As people ran for cover in hopes of avoiding this rampage, one turned to their companion, "Where's Mythos? Shouldn't he be dealing with these things?" The city hadn't seen Mythos in 3 weeks, but they hadn't seen any monsters either.
Now the question on everyone's minds was where was the hero? As the Tartarians continued to attack civilians, one seemed to fall to the ground as the rest turned to their fallen comrade to see Kamen Rider Demi waving at them, "Oh sorry was that your friend? Well there's plenty more where that came from."
He banged his sword against his shield, using it as a taunt as the rest of the Tartarians charged at him. Demi fought them off effortlessly, as the people watched on, the Tartarians falling quicker than they ever did to Mythos. As Demi finished the last one off with a slash of blue energy he chuckled as he sheathed his sword and dusted off his hands.
People slowly came out of their hiding places, approaching him in awe and wonder. One approached him, their phone out and recording him, "Uh excuse me sir but who are you? Are you connected to Kamen Rider Mythos?" Demi laughed softly and nodded, "I'm the new hero in town, Kamen Rider Demi, the rider chosen by heroes."
The people began to surround him and began to take pictures. He didn't mind though, he'd allow the selfie, the autographs or whatever else. Achilles wanted glory in exchange for him being able to do this and that was exactly what he'd give the old warrior, modern day glory.

Hikaru Kinami sat on the couch in the apartment, watching Taiga show up on TV and frowned, "What is he doing? This isn't another interview for a magazine." Apollo appeared next to him and smiled, "Well he's clearly enjoying the attention, not that I blame him honestly."
Ares appeared as well and sighed, "He should know by now that this fight is serious, and not some way to seek further fame." Hikaru shook his head and frowned, "There's not much we can do about it anyway, he'll just end up doing whatever he wants."
Apollo smiled and put a ghostly arm around Hikaru, "Yeah but after 3 weeks you're finally healed. It's time for Kamen Rider Mythos to make his triumphant return!" Hikaru nodded but crossed his arms, "I'd love to, but I'm worried Taiga would stop me. He's been in protective big brother mode and every time I've brought up getting back out there he's shot it down."
Ares groaned in frustration, "Like it or not Mythos is going to come back because he's the one destined to defeat the Titans, so you better get ready kid because you might have to clash with your brother if he gets in our way."
Hikaru sighed, deep down he hoped it wouldn't come to that, but he knew that sooner or later he and Taiga would have to have that argument. He only hoped that the two could work together, and not against each other.

Multiple goblets flew across the room of Zeus's temple, hitting the wall and breaking as an angry Prometheus glared at Krios, "You said this plan wouldn't fail brother, and now we have another thorn in our side, and not just any thorn, but one powered by that damned Achilles."
Krios sat on a chair on the other side of the temple, clearly seething himself, "How was I supposed to know Achilles would actually lend a mere mortal his power, and how was I supposed to know he could even do such a thing."
Prometheus threw another goblet across the room, nearly hitting Krios, "We need to deal with this NOW! Before this Kamen Rider Demi gets stronger and before Mythos returns as well, we may have hurt him but his wounds weren't enough to take him out of the fight."
Krios rolled his eyes and took a sip of ambrosia, "I told you we should've just killed him, but no you wanted to lure out the two stupidest gods in the pantheon." Before Prometheus could respond to him the door swung open, revealing Rhea with a glass of wine in her hands and appearing to be in a good mood as she walked in.
She sat down at her throne and crossed her legs, "Now now boys what do we seem to be fighting about in here?" Both quickly bowed before her as Krios cleared his throat, "Oh uh Queen Rhea, we were just discussing the one that Achilles picked to lend his power to, Kamen Rider Demi." Rhea nodded and gazed at her nails, not being that interested in the conversation, "Oh yes him."
The two exchanged nervous glances, Rhea was shockingly in a good mood. Prometheus stood up and walked towards her, "My Queen you seem to be in a very good mood despite our current circumstances. Did that relaxation I advised for you work?"
Rhea nodded and laughed to herself, "Well that and because I realized something you two imbeciles clearly didn't, Demi is powered by Achilles. Which means just like Achilles he should have an Achilles heel as the humans call it. If we target that we can eliminate him easily."
Krios nodded and raised his glass, "An excellent point my Queen!" Prometheus sighed however, "However we still have the problem of not having any monsters strong enough to last long enough against him to manage to find it." Rhea frowned and summoned a small chest into her hand, "Then I suppose we'll have to do something risky, we shall use another one of those gods to power the monster."
Prometheus looked at her in shock, "My Queen are you sure? Because last time we used one of the Gods to power a monster it was Ares and it made Mythos stronger." Rhea laughed once again and waved him off, "With the injuries you two gave to him while he was captured I doubt he'd return to fight us even if he did heal, he's too weak to continue fighting."
Krios nodded and ran over to the chest, taking the bronze colored orb from it, "Very well my Queen I shall prepare the monster at once and send it down to the human world."
Prometheus crossed his arms and watched the two celebrate what they thought was an early victory. Mythos, no Hikaru Kinami was stronger than those two thought. He made the mistake of underestimating that human once, and now it was time for Rhea and Krios to learn the same lesson he did.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Hikaru sat at a table outside of his school, he was responding to a text from his mother about helping out at the flower shop when he heard footsteps coming towards him. It wasn't just Taiga who has been a little over protective of him since he had been freed from his torture by Krios and Prometheus.
He frowned as his lunch was set down before him, "Thanks Mizuki, but you know I'm fully healed right? I can get my own lunch and stuff." Mizuki sat down next to him and shook her head, "Hikaru like it or not you almost died, and Taiga told me to make sure you didn't strain yourself so I figured it's the least I could do since I was useless in rescuing you."
Hikaru smiled at her, "I appreciate it, but really I told you before you helped Taiga deal with Apollo and Ares and that's doing plenty to get me back. So stop beating yourself up and trying to do everything for me, people are starting to gossip since they see you carrying my books, and I really don't like the attention."
Mizuki sighed, "Fine, so I have to ask when is Mythos making his return?" Hikaru raised an eyebrow, "I would like to, but I think I still have some rust on me and I'm not sure how to get back into it. Why do you ask?"
Mizuki took a bite of her lunch and shrugged, "Cause even I'm getting tired of constantly seeing Kamen Rider Demi all over social media and I figured Mythos could teach him some humility."
Hikaru nodded, "Yeah I know, Apollo and Ares are getting tired of it too, I don't know I just lost my confidence I guess." As the two talked, Ryo Taijin appeared at the table, looking down at Hikaru, "Kinami, this is the third week in a row I've beaten you in our tests. Shape up, I'm starting to think I was wrong in considering you the only person to rival me academically."
He walked away as Mizuki made a face at him, "Hikaru please don't listen to him, he doesn't know what you're dealing with." Hikaru shook his head and shot up, a smile growing on his face, "No he's right, I need to shape up. If I'm going to get back to being Mythos I need to get back into shape physically and mentally. I need to train, will you help me?"
Mizuki smiled at him and nodded, "I would help you even if you didn't ask, because no way am I letting those two gods subject you to training without some kind of supervision."
Hikaru sweatdropped at her response, she wasn't wrong. Ares would definitely kill him if he agreed to whatever training he could think of without someone watching him.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Taiga stretched as he walked out of his agency's building. He had been feeling tired lately, with all the Demi stuff being added on top of modeling he had been overworking himself.
Besides him Achilles appeared, a hand resting on his chin, "I still don't get it Taiga Kinami, they have you put on different clothes and you pose in front of that weird device and you get paid money for it?"
Taiga nodded, "That's the jist of it yeah, though there's a bit more involved than just changing clothes and posing." Achilles shook his head in confusion, "Back in my time we took our fortunes from our victories, looting the homes of the losers and taking the treasures from our dead enemies. Sometimes we even ransacked temples."
Taiga laughed to himself, Achilles wasn't adjusting well to modern day, "Isn't ransacking a temple why Apollo hates you?" Achilles shook his head, "No, Apollo hates me for other reasons, reasons that are more…. How you say, personal?" Taiga raised an eyebrow, "Wait you two?"
Achilles glared at him, "I'd rather not get into it." Taiga nodded, "Right messy break up got it. So shouldn't we be training or something, you know, for when the Titans attack?" Achilles shook his head, "Why bother? As Demi you have my invincibility and already genius fighting ability that Ares himself is jealous of, no need to train."
That wasn't really the answer he was hoping for, he wanted to actually feel like the strength was his own, and not just piggybacking off of Achilles, "What about the interviews and stuff, do I still have to keep that up?"
Achilles nodded, "Of course, part of our deal of me sharing my power with you was that you provided me glory like the old days, and if I've learned anything how you're going about it is how people achieve glory in this modern times."
Taiga slowly nodded, "Right sorry for asking, now let's just get home, I promised my mom to help out at the flower shop." Achilles gave him a slight nod and the two continued on their way, Taiga silently wondering if all the showboating was really needed when he just wanted to aid his brother.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
It had been an hour since both had arrived home and had started running the flower shop for their mother who was out running errands. They worked in a comfortable silence, not because they didn't want to talk to each other, more because they both had a lot on their minds.
Taiga watched Hikaru seemingly straining himself to move heavy pots and frowned, "Hey Hikaru I've been meaning to ask, how are you feeling?" Hikaru flashed him a small smile, "I've been feeling a lot better. I'm not back at 100% yet but I'm close."
Taiga nodded as Achilles appeared behind him, whispering to him, "Bring up what we talked about." Taiga swallowed some spit in the back of his throat and nodded, "So listen, I was thinking maybe you don't need to get back out there as Mythos. Just let your big brother take care of things from now on."
Hikaru nearly dropped the pot he was carrying from shock, "What?" Taiga walked over and picked up the pot for him, placing it down on the shelf, "Look, all I'm saying is I seem to be invincible so you don't need to fight."
Hikaru frowned, "Taiga I know Demi is seemingly invincible but Achilles thought he was too and look how that turned out." Achilles glared at Hikaru before nodding reluctantly, "As much as I hate to admit it he is correct, I was believed invincible before that detestable Prince Paris shot an arrow into my heel, though I'm still not convinced Apollo didn't help him make the shot."
Taiga continued on, ignoring the warrior, "Look if I ever need help I'll be sure to tell you, but for now please let me do this so you can rest." Hikaru wanted to tell his brother to stop being overprotective, he really did, but he also knew he needed to get back into shape before he could really get back to fighting as Mythos. Having Taiga focused on being Demi while he did that would be helpful.
Sighing he nodded, "Fine, but please promise me if you do end up having a weakness like an Achilles heel you'll let me assist you in the fight." Taiga smiled and nodded, "Of course Hikaru but you don't need to worry anyway. Achilles and I can handle it and you'll never be hurt again because your big brother is here to protect you." Hikaru frowned, he really hoped that Taiga wasn't getting in over his head.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Hikaru stood on the roof of his apartment complex, watching Apollo and Ares argue over something as the three waited for Mizuki to arrive. They had wanted to come up early to test something and they had yet to tell him what it was.
Hikaru cleared his throat causing the two gods to look at him, "So are you two going to tell me why we're up here before Mizuki arrives." Ares crossed his arms, "Because we wanted to test something that could be risky." Apollo nodded, "And Mizuki scares both of us even if Ares won't admit it so we figured we test it before she got here."
Ares whacked him on the back of the head as Hikaru nodded slowly, "Ok so what are we testing?" Apollo raised his hand and pointed at him, "Simple! We're going to test to see if you can access any of our abilities without being Mythos."
Ares floated over to him and seemingly examined him up and down, "According to our father and uncles stories, prolonged time as Mythos resulted in some of their godly energy leaking into the user and giving them some minor abilities of the gods they bonded with, so we figured maybe you're at that stage already." Hikaru nodded, "Right so what are we testing first?" Apollo raised his hand and began to glow with excitement, "We're testing one of my favorite powers, premonition."
Hikaru raised an eyebrow at him, "You mean like the Oracle of Delphi?" Apollo nodded, "Correct! Now just close your eyes and concentrate, think about the future and see if anything comes to you." Hikaru closed his eyes and concentrated as hard as he could, trying to picture the future. Graduating college, getting married one day, having children of his own and telling them stories from history.
The future he wanted, as he began to almost picture it he heard something soaring through the air and something hard hitting his face as he felt himself go flying to the ground.
He quickly opened his eyes to see a large exercise ball on the ground and Apollo shaking his head in disappointment, "Ok so he didn't see that coming, so no gift of prophecy for him." Hikaru frowned at him, "I don't think that's how it works."
Apollo shrugged at him, "I'm the God of Prophecy, I think I know how it works. Besides you're lucky I didn't use a rock, my last few Oracles usually dodge those." Ares' face palmed and groaned, "You're an idiot, using what little power we have to touch physical things and you use it to throw a ball at the kid."
Hikaru sighed, "So Ares what power do you want me to try." Ares lit up from the question, "A very simple one, you see as the God of War I have the ability to summon any weapon I want into my hands, it's a very handy ability in a fight. All you need to do is hold out your hand and say the name of the weapon and it'll come flying towards you. Give it a try!"
Apollo shook his head, "And you call me an idiot, if he doesn't catch this it'll probably skewer him." Hikaru gulped, he really didn't like the idea of trying to summon a weapon to his hand since it was coming flying at him but he really didn't have a choice. He held up his hand and tried to speak confidently, "Uhhhh a sword please?"
Apollo braced himself for what may happen but nothing seemingly did as Hikaru just stood there with his hand up feeling like an idiot. Ares let out a grunt, "Welp you don't have that power, that's a bummer I wanted to see a flying sword."
Before the two Gods could start arguing they heard footsteps besides them to see Mizuki arriving, shaking her head, "What are you two idiots doing to Hikaru?" Hikaru felt relief wash over at the sight of his best friend, "They're trying to see if I inherited any of their powers so they're throwing balls at me and trying to get me to summon flying sharp things."
Mizuki nodded slowly, "You know what not even gonna ask, let's get to training." Ares smiled at the comment, "Music to my ears. Get ready Hikaru because I'm going to train you harder than anyone's ever trained before, you're gonna be so skilled your brother will be jealous. I'm going to make you as swift as a coursing river, have all the force of a great typhoon, be as strong as a raging fire, and for the ladies, be as mysterious as the dark side of the moon!"
Mizuki looked at him with confusion, "Did you just quote Mulan? I thought you Gods didn't know much about pop culture?" Ares raised an eyebrow at her, "What the fuck is a Mulan? Those words are what I used to tell the Spartans I trained personally."
Apollo nodded in agreement, "He's right sadly, great song though." Hikaru frowned, "Can we just start the training please?" Ares chuckled, "Someones eager to get his ass kicked, alright police girl, you're sparring with him since I can't do it personally."
Mizuki frowned, "Hikaru, are you sure about this? Because I really don't want to hurt you." Hikaru nodded as he walked across from her and took off his hoodie, "I need to build back up my strength and my confidence so I can be Mythos again. So as much as I don't want to listen to drill instructor Ares, I need to. So Mizuki please spar with me." Mizuki nodded and took off her jacket as well, "Fine but don't say I didn't warn you."
For the next three days, Hikaru trained, when he wasn't in class or doing homework he was sparring with Mizuki and learning fight techniques from both Gods. It had now been Sunday and Hikaru found himself breathing heavily, Mizuki laying on the ground in defeat, "Mizuki please tell me I didn't hurt you?"
Mizuki sat up and shook her head, "Nah it takes more than that to get me, I gotta say you've gotten stronger though." Hikaru tried to hide his smile, "You think so? I thought it was just me but I think I finally feel strong enough again to be Mythos." Apollo's eyes glowed as he floated over to Hikaru, "Care to test that theory? There's a monster that just appeared downtown and I can tell it's strong."
Hikaru looked at Ares who simply nodded, "Alright then I guess we better go take care of it." Hikaru looked at Mizuki who simply gave him a thumbs up. Taking this as a sign he began to run towards the stairs, Kamen Rider Mythos was about to return to save the city.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
Kamen Rider Demi arrived in the area he'd heard there was a monster attacking. Achilles certainly couldn't sense monsters attacking like Apollo could but he made up for that by checking social media to see if anyone was posting about it, because according to Achilles his generation could be in a dire situation and still post about it online.
Sure enough there was a monster causing destruction, it looked like a Manticore but different somewhat, glowing orange lines ran along its body and it stood up on legs, roaring at everyone it saw. What especially caught his attention was its weird looking tail, almost resembling a swiss army knife but more ancient looking. He smiled to himself, he was gonna call it Multicore.
Multicore finally noticed him and roared, charging at him causing him to jump from his thoughts. He dodged out of the way and quickly summoned his weapons, "ACHILLES: KENTOTE" He slashed at Multicore, but the monster glowed orange, producing a shield from its tail to block his attacks.
He stepped back and looked at the monster, it was looking at him, analyzing his every move. Didn't matter anyway, it was going to defeat him as he charged at it again, this time Multicore creating a knife from his tail to exchange blows with him. The tail was so fast that it slashed at his body several times without any effect. He laughed as it jumped back, "You aren't going to get anywhere, I'm invincible."
Multicore snarled at him as it changed the item on its tail to scissors, running at him and trying to cut several places on his suit. Demi let out a breath, this thing was durable and fast, smart too. It was studying him and kept trying to hit various places on his body, the question was why. It roared at him and charged, he pivoted trying to avoid it.
It stopped close to him and narrowed his eyes at him, the weapon on its tail changing to a screwdriver as it charged at him. Demi made no effort to try to dodge, he figured that if we wanted to end this thing he should take advantage of his invincibility and just get close.
As he let the monster get close he paused for a moment, it was aiming at his shoulder socket, somewhere he didn't have armor. The screwdriver connected and all of the sudden Demi felt a rushing pain spread throughout his body, it felt like death and he found himself going flying backwards, losing his transformation as he fell.
Taiga found himself on the ground, struggling to get up as he gasped for air, "What? I have an Achilles heel?" Achilles appeared beside him and frowned, "Seems your brother was right, I figured even if you did it was your heel like me and since you had armor covering it I wasn't worried."
Taiga struggled to get up but only fell back down again, "Dammit I don't think I can transform again." Achilles nodded, confirming his fear, "You took what should be a deathblow for anyone normal, you aren't just gonna get back in the fight immediately."
Taiga watched as Multicore started to approach him, tail swishing around as its eyes glowed. Taiga continued to try to stand, "Shit, no ones around and Hikaru isn't coming because me and my stupid mouth said I can do this on my own." As he waited for what seemed like his death nothing came as he heard a voice behind him, "APOLLO FAVOR: KANEYUMI!"
A large golden arrow whizzed past Taiga's head, hitting Multicore in the chest and causing it to retreat as Mythos came running over to Taiga. The transformation disappeared as Hikaru reached down for his brother, helping him up, "Taiga are you ok?"
Taiga nodded weakly, "I'll be fine I think, you were right about me having a weakness." Next to him Apollo seemed to be pouting as Hikaru helped Taiga to his motorcycle, "I can't believe you made me save Achilles, Hikaru this is the worst thing you've ever made me do." Hikaru rolled his eyes as Achilles glared at Apollo, equally not as happy, "And I've now suffered the humiliation of being saved by you, so shut up you useless god."
Hikaru helped Taiga onto the Machine Chariot as his brother looked at him, "Hikaru why are you here? I thought we agreed I'd do the fighting from now on." Hikaru frowned and got onto the bike, revving it as he prepared to drive, "Can we have this conversation after we get you home and patched up please? There's a few things we should probably address."
Taiga nodded slightly as Hikaru took off on the Machine Chariot, Taiga's mind racing as he began to wonder why his little brother didn't listen to him.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
The two sat in silence as Hikaru finished bandaging the wound on his shoulder, "Alright you should be fine, I don't know how long you'll be out of commission for." Achilles who had been having a staring contest with Apollo grunted, "He should be fine now actually, all he needed was a little rest just like I used to need back in the day."
Apollo chuckled slightly, "Yeah all you did was rest after committing horrible acts." Achilles glared at him, "Oh bite me sun beam." Before Apollo could react, Ares appeared and got between the two, "Oh would you shut up, every time you two are near each other you get at each other's throats. All this because Apollo broke up with you and you then got your revenge by burning down his temple in Troy, I can't believe I'm the one who has to say this but grow up."
Hikaru looked at Apollo and Achilles who continued to glare at each other, "Wait you two? You used to date? But I've never seen anything about that in any account of the Trojan war ever?"
Apollo nodded, "Because I'm very good at erasing mistakes when I actually want them erased." Achilles scoffed at him, "Is that why you helped Paris kill me?" Apollo shook his head, "No that was because I decided if the Greeks were going to be allowed to wipe out the Trojans then I was at least making sure you died with all of them."
The two went silent as Hikaru signed and looked at Taiga, "The thing I've learned from all of this is that Gods are extremely petty sometimes." Taiga nodded in agreement before frowning, "Hikaru I thought you were going to leave everything to me? Why did you show up ready to fight the Multicore?"
Hikaru signed, "I lied to you Taiga, you'd been so protective of me since I got captured that I knew if I told you that I was training myself to rejoin the fight then you'd stop me and hinder me from making any actual progress." Taiga nodded, "You're right I would've, if I learned anything from doing this, it's that it's hard work and you need to focus on your studies not fighting a bunch of evil Gods."
Hikaru frowned, "Taiga I understand that and trust me it took me awhile to actually find balance doing this and school, but you need to understand that this is my fight. I couldn't just let you come in and steal it, even if that meant lying to you about my intentions."
Taiga sat quiet for a moment, pondering his little brother's words, "If we're admitting to things, then I have to say I've been lying too. I've been acting like I was enjoying this hero thing but in all honesty it's hard work, I've barely had time for anything else. I really don't know how you've managed to make it look so simple."
Hikaru smiled at him, "I make it look simple because I have a good support system, you, Mom, Mizuki, you're all there for me whether you knew it in the beginning or now. Taiga, I know you wanted to be a good big brother and keep me safe, but I think it's time you and I start working together, because together we can do anything."
Taiga nodded, "You're right, united we can kick so much more ass than me trying to do everything myself." Achilles grunted, causing the moment between the two to be broken, "This isn't part of our deal Taiga Kinami, I've made it clear that I refuse to work with a lazy and petty God like Apollo, and our agreement is you bringing me the glory I so desire. Teaming up with your little brother will not give me what I want."
Taiga frowned before standing up and staring Achilles in the eyes, "I know what I promised you but glory isn't everything. Hikaru and I working together gives us a chance to be even greater heroes than before, to really help people and yeah that'll mean sharing the glory but does that really matter when it means we're really fighting the good fight? I know you and Apollo hate each other because you two had a failed relationship, but it's time to put that aside and work with him and Apollo, whether you two like it or not."
It was silent, Taiga waited for Achilles to say something, anything as he floated there silently, an unreadable expression on his face. Suddenly Achilles began to laugh, causing Taiga to nearly jump as the warrior put a ghostly hand on his shoulder, "Congratulations Taiga Kinami, you've passed the first test of heroics. You're correct, when it comes down to it, heroics mean more than glory, and as much as I love glory even I once had comrades that aided me in battle, because even the mighty Achilles cannot do everything on his own. I was waiting for you to realize that for yourself and finally stand up to me and decide that being a hero was more important than our agreement. Now of course I despise the idea of working with Apollo, but I also get to work with the almighty Ares and that's reason enough to tolerate the God of the sun."
Apollo crossed his arm and frowned, "Fine, if Achilles can put aside our past then so can I, but this doesn't make us friends. I still hate you." Hikaru stood up and put a hand on his brother, "Well now that that's out of the way and you've passed the first test in your journey to being a hero, shall we go beat a monster?"
Taiga smiled and nodded, fist bumping with his brother, "Of course, that Multicore has no chance against the Kinami brothers!" The two ran out the door, ready to go face whatever threats came their way, united against anything that would threaten the world.

People began to run in fear as Multicore continued to rampage throughout the area. Screams filled the air as it ignored the people trying to escape and attacked everything around it. It suddenly stopped however as it saw Hikaru and Taiga arrive, it roared at them as it turned towards them.
Taiga narrowed his eyes at it and pointed at Multicore, "Hey ugly remember me? This time you're going down!" Both took out their drivers and placed them on their waists as they sprang to life, "PANTHEON DRIVER, HERO DRIVER" The two nodded at each other and removed the orbs from their pockets, "Apollo lend me your power!" "Achilles bring me glory!"
Apollo and Achilles both appeared, still not 100% happy to be fighting alongside each other, "Let's just do this partner, quickly so I don't have to fight with him too much." Hikaru scanned the orb as it lit up, "APOLLO ORB!" Taiga inserted the orb into his driver.
"ACHILLES! READY FOR BATTLE!"
The chant of the soldiers began to mix with the chant of the Pantheon driver.
"What's beyond the chains?! Break freeeee!"
"What's beyond the chains?! Break freeeee!"
In a flash, Hikaru pressed the button on the top of the driver and Taiga slammed together the sides of his driver as both yelled the familiar cry, "HENSHIN!" Colors of gold and blue mixed together as Apollo and Achilles mixed with them,
"Ride on! Power of the sun! (The golden god!) Apollo Frameeeee! Yeah!"
"Demi-On! Rise up! The invincible warrior (Glory over all!) Achilles Frameeeeee! Yeah!"
Mythos and Demi emerged from the light, their eyes glowing as Multicore continued to roar and snarl at them. The two looked at him and pointed at him, "WE'RE THE BROTHERS CHOSEN BY OLYMPUS!"
The two summoned their weapons as Mutlicore charged at them, Demi meeting its attack as Mythos let several arrows fly, blocking its attempts at trying to hit Demi's weak spot. Demi struck it several times as Mythos joined him, roundhouse kicking him as the monster was knocked back several times but still seemingly fine.
Mythos fired another arrow and turned to his brother, "Boy this thing is tough, if I had to guess an orb is powering it." Demi nodded, "I figured out earlier at least if you rush it and use head on attacks it'll throw it off." Mythos nodded as he took out the Ares orb, "Then let's go all out! ARES LEND ME YOUR POWER!"
Ares appeared above, already burning for a fight, "Finally! I've been hoping you'd tag me in." He scanned the orb as it lit up again, "ARES ORB!" Multicore began to charge at them again as Mythos pressed the button, "SHINE OVER!" He was engulfed in blue flames as he also charged at Multicore,
"Fight Hard! Defend your glory! (The War God!) Ares Frameeeee! Yeah!"
Mythos Ares Frame met Multicore, locking him in place with his swords and he turned back to Demi, "TAIGA GO FOR THE TAIL!" Demi nodded and his sword glowed blue as he slashed at the device on Multicore's tail, cutting it off and causing the creature to roar in pain.
Demi joined Mythos as he turned to his older brother, "Ares let's go all out to make sure we defeat this thing." Demi nodded in agreement, "Time for a Kinami bros finisher!" Multicore snarled at them as Mythos took out the Ares orb and pointed at him, "We'll give the Gods a proper tribute!"
He scanned the orb three times in his belt before inserting it into his weapons, "ARES TRIBUTE: RAGE OF SPARTA!" Mythos became completely engulfed in blue flames as he leaped forward, stabbing Multicore with the Kaigunto and punching it multiple times, each punch causing more fire to come out of his fists and making Multicore roar in pain more.
Mythos jumped and nodded at his brother who promptly opened and closed his driver causing it to announce, "ACHILLES HEROIC: KICK!" The two riders leaped into the air, Mythos engulfed in blue fire and Demi glowing with blue energy. The two's kick landed right in Mutlicore' s chest, sending it flying into a wall and exploding, ending it's threat forever.
The two landed and high fived, before losing their transformation, returning back to a slightly weakened Hikaru and Taiga. As the two were celebrating though Apollo appeared and pointed to the monster's remains, "Hikaru looks like you were, there's an orange orb that just rolled out." Hikaru walked over and picked up the orb, examining it, "Wonder who's in there?"
The orb began to glow and emerging from it was a darker skinned man, with long flowing orange hair and wearing a robe and goggles around his neck. He looked down at Hikaru and raised an eyebrow at Hikaru, "Who are you and where am I?" Apollo floated over smiling, "Oh cool it's Hepaestus, nice to see you bro." Hephaestus turned to Apollo and slightly smiled, "Apollo, it is good to see you're ok, Father had told me he had given you an important task and I feared the worst when you weren't there when we were all captured."
Taiga walked up and looked at the two brothers beginning to converse, "Wow a God Apollo actually likes for once." Hikaru nodded, "Yeah, maybe I won't have to listen to as much arguing this time compared to when we found Ares." As if to prove him wrong Ares appeared from his orb, frowning at Hephaestus, "Is that my little brother? Where the hell have you been, we could've used your forging talents!"
Hephaestus turned from Apollo and glared at him, "Ares, I was hoping you'd be dead." As the two began to argue, Hikaru and Taiga looked at each other and began to laugh. They had clearly spoken too soon on their not being any arguments between Gods.

Hephaestus is speaking with Hikaru
"I understand your plight young man, but I don't wish to fight against the Titans."
Apollo and Ares are seemingly fading away
"Dammit this thing is sealing us!"
Finally Hikaru is holding Hephaestus's orb
"HEPHAESTUS PLEASE LEND ME YOUR POWER!"
