Cadis set his teacup and saucer on the table. His eyes narrowed as he turned his hand's palm up and stared. It had been a century since that day. He'd been shocked, surprised, and angry at the revelation.

He was curling his fingers and then relaxing them.

He knew it took a lot to drop her barriers altogether. And the flood of emotions so strong that clear images and faint words echoed in his mind. It continued until he felt a hollowness inside.

The way her odd prismatic eyes shone in the fading light as hope and fear warring in their depth.

Cadis watched as she closed her eyes and seemed to hold her breath. It was clear to him what answer Delphi expected.

So, in turn, he shared all his emotions with her. He'd squeezed her hand hard as her eyes fluttered open to look at him. He could see it. Delphi has tried to jerk her hand free, her embarrassment both visibly and felt.

It displeased him, so Cadis had stood, then knelt on the bed. There was no way he'd let her go. And even a century later, he did not regret his choice.

So many things had been shared that night. He'd taken more of Delphi's blood and fed her his(by force) through a kiss. Joined them as one in an eternal bond. Then again, the light that saved him had shown more than a dozen lifetimes.

"Hahaha! No more!"

Blinking and pulling himself from his memories, Cadis stood and walked to the window. In the yard before his family home was close to two dozen children of varying ages.

"Sturgis, get back here!"

"No, Anata."

Unable to stop himself, Cadis smiled. It was always amusing to see Raskeria's and Karaus' (who had shocked everyone when they bonded) daughter chasing Regis' and Seira's son. It was clear they were sweethearts.

"Ewww... Anata likes Shergis!"

"Quiet, Lector. You've no right to speak. You like Ce-hrmp!"

Chuckling as he watched Tao's and Rozaria's twins begin to wrestle. This pairing was another shocking get-together. However, it was obvious(for a while now) that their son Lector liked Garda's and Muzaka's daughter Ceciline. Muzaka complained enough.

M-21 and Lunark were a pair as well. Taeko had yet to settle.

"Daddy!"

Turning, Cadis looked at the small, four-year-old girl in Frankenstein's arms. Her Black with a few white streaks of hair and pearlescent eyes had him thinking of her mother. Though out of all his children, she was the only daughter and a perfect blend of him and Delphi.

"Master, the young Miss wanted you as soon as she woke," Frankenstein said. "Said she had a 'dream' she needed to tell you about."

It was hard for Delphi to get pregnant and carry. Crombell had done a lot of damage to her body, especially her reproductive system. And due to Delphi being unique, healing the damage was not easy.

Raising his arms, Cadis took his precious daughter.

"Artemis, what do you need to tell me?" he asked after securing her tiny body in his arms.

"Melik and a red-haired girl who is strong like her grand-daddy will meet in the human world," Artemis said. Her voice is clear and strong. "And the sun and moon will be blessed with twin stars."

Cadis felt stunned at his daughter's prophetic words. She'd been born 'awakened' though unable to speak. And Cadis knew who the young red-haired girl was. His young son would be in trouble if she took after her grandfather.

"Daddy, the twin stars are bonded already," Artemis said. "Uncle Karaus and Aunti Raskeria's youngest, Damien. And the other will be bound to Senia, Lord Muzaka's other daughter. So I won't be the baby anymore.

The soft laugh that followed those words had Cadis looking at Delphi, who leaned against the door frame of his study. The way her hands rested over her stomach let him know she knew.

"Well, guess I don't have to say anything," Delphi said, smiling. "Now we just need to get Daddy Franky married."

"Nope. Mine!"

At the bold declaration from his daughter, Cadis stared at a fear-stricken Frankenstein. While his little while practically doubled over in laughter.
