A/N:Hello, just a short chapter this time! I realized I didn't mention the third nudist rule in the previous chapters. I had a scene written out for it, but with the way the story is going to go from here, there's no other place for me to put it. So I'm just going to put it here!

Enjoy!

Chapter 10: The Final Rule

Akko giggled as Diana then began splashing back at Akko. The two of them kept splashing water at each other, with Akko even trying to swim away from Diana to avoid her splashes. Eventually, Diana couldn't help but smile and laugh along with Akko.

The two continued playing in the ocean until their fingers and toes began to get pruney.

Off in the distance, Aimi was watching them from the top of a cliff that overlooked the ocean. She watched as they playfully splashed each other with water.

"What a difference from this morning," she said, remembering how awkward and nervous both Akko and Diana were when they first arrived.

She had a pair of fresh towels in her hands. But hidden in-between them was a note. On the front, it read "GIVE TO DIANA. DON'T LET AKKO SEE IT!"

Aimi took a deep breath. "I hope you know what you're doing, mom," she said to herself. "Let's hope they don't blow the place up with an Explosion Spell."

Eventually, Akko and Diana swam back to shore, still smiling and laughing. They threw their inner tubes back into the pile of junk Akko dumped onto the beach.

"Oh hey, I was looking for you two!" called a voice.

Akko and Diana looked up and saw Aimi running towards them, carrying a stack of fresh towels in her hands. "Oh, hey Aimi!" replied Akko.

"I thought you two could use some fresh towels!" offered Aimi.

"Hey, thanks!" Akko said, taking one of the towels.

It was then that Aimi noticed that the formerly-embarrassed Akko was now completely in the buff. "Well, look at you!" Aimi said, happily. "To think you were so awkward this morning!"

"Uh…y-yeah," Akko stammered, nervously. "I know I freaked out really hard earlier. And I'm sorry about that."

"Don't be," smiled Aimi. "Like I said, that wasn't the worst first-timer reaction that I've ever seen."

Diana had a feeling who had a worse reaction than Akko. Luckily, that person didn't appear to be on the beach anymore.

"But the important thing is…well…you're naked now!" praised Aimi. "How are you liking it?"

"Oh, I love it!" Akko said, cheerfully. "Everything we did felt so much better nude! We ate at the buffet, did some yoga, went swimming in the ocean…"

"Well, I'm happy to hear you're one of us now!" Aimi said.

Aimi then looked out towards the sea. "Hey, Akko! Are those dolphins swimming out there?"

"Dolphins! Where?!" Akko asked, excitedly.

Akko hurriedly ran out towards the sea until she was ankle-deep in the water, looking for the dolphins. Diana was about to join her until Aimi pulled her back. "Diana, wait!" whispered Aimi. "Mom told me to give you this!"

Diana looked down and saw the note in Aimi's hands. "Shush! Don't let her see it," said Aimi.

"I don't see anything!" Akko shouted as she still stared towards the sea.

Diana quickly opened the note and was surprised to see detailed directions and descriptions. She read it as fast as she could before stuffing it in her bag right before Akko turned back around to face them.

"There weren't any dolphins out there," she complained.

"Oh! I thought I saw them," said Aimi. "Must have been the sunlight. Sorry about that."

Aimi then remembered something else that she wanted to tell Akko and Diana about. "Say, you guys are going to be here for a few days, right?" she asked. "Does this mean you're gonna join us for the Nudist Summer Festival?"

"There's a nudist festival?!" gasped Akko.

" That's right," said Aimi, handing them both a pamphlet, "it's when a bunch of the regulars come together and host a bunch of different activities for everyone to join in."

Akko was quick to open it and read all of the blurbs talking about the festivities. "Whoa! They got all kinds of stuff!" she exclaimed. "Body painting, pool parties, hiking…"

"Yep! And at night, we even have a bonfire on the beach," added Aimi.

"Whoa, that sounds so cool!" Akko said, getting excited. "It kinda sounds like a school festival!"

"Sort of, except with more naked people," said Aimi.

"You can count us in!" Akko said, giving Aimi a thumbs-up.

"Akko, may I remind you that we're on a study vacation," Diana said, sternly. "Don't forget why we're really here."

"But look at the stuff they're going to have!" Akko said, shoving the pamphlet in Diana's face. "You don't really want to miss out on all this, do you?"

"Besides, a study vacation is still a vacation," added Aimi.

"I'm sorry, Aimi," replied Diana, "but I'm afraid we're going to be far too busy tomorrow to take part in the festival."

"What do you mean?" Akko asked. "We're not going to be practicing magic all day and all night, are we?"

"Uh Akko, didn't we agree you wouldn't talk about that in front of other people?" Diana asked, sternly.

"It's okay," reassured Aimi. "Mom already told me that you two were… witches. " Aimi made sure to whisper the last word.

"She did?!" Diana asked, worriedly.

"Don't worry, I won't tell the other guests," said Aimi. "Just make sure to be careful around them. A lot of them are still shaken up by what that last witch did."

"What last witch?" Akko asked, confused. "Oh! Are you talking about the one that used an explosion spell that destroyed one of the hills nearby?"

"Oh, so mom told you about her?" Aimi asked.

"Wait…that was real?!" Diana asked, flabbergasted.

"Yep," confirmed Aimi, "in fact, if you go hiking in the hills, you can still see the crater where the explosion went off."

"No way!" Akko said, astonished.

Diana, however, was worried. Akko was already capable of creating her own explosions. The last thing she wanted was Akko to create even bigger ones.

"I-I was told she had to be permanently banned from the resort," Diana said nervously.

"Her and her two friends," replied Aimi.

Diana then remembered what Nora told them back at the gym. "And her two friends," she began, "did one of them happen to call herself a goddess?"

"Oh, you know about her too?" asked Aimi. "Ugh! Don't get me started on that blue-haired…!"

Aimi stopped herself before she let her language get too crash.

"One of the girls at the gym said she got into a fight with one of the kickboxers," mentioned Akko.

"She did," confirmed Aimi. "Normally, I wouldn't be happy to see someone get beat up so horribly…but she kinda deserved it."

Diana gulped. " That was true, too ?!" she thought. Perhaps it was a good thing Diana didn't say anything else about women with muscles.

"And then there was that blonde woman," sighed Aimi, "Now she was a real piece of work!"

"What blonde woman?" asked Diana.

"She was the third girl that we had to ban from the resort, along with the other two," answered Aimi.

"And what did she do?" asked Akko.

"...she broke nudist rule number three ," Aimi said after hesitating for a moment.

"Nudist rule number three?" Akko asked, confused.

"Did my mom tell you about the nudist rules?" Aimi asked.

"Yeah, she told us about nudist rule number one, don't insult your body," mentioned Akko.

"And then Nora told us nudist rule two, don't insult others," added Diana.

"…what about nudist rule number three?" asked Aimi.

Diana remembered Setsuna telling her about nudist rule number three, but she was interrupted before she found out what it was.

"No," replied Akko, "nobody told us about nudist rule number three. What is it?"

"That's the big one," said Aimi, "that's the one mom really gets angry about if she sees someone breaking it."

"...and that would be?" Diana asked, growing impatient.

"Don't you know?" asked Aimi. "That's the one about not doing sex stuff in public."

At that moment, Akko and Diana's faces froze entirely. It took a while for them to process what Aimi just said.

"What?" Akko asked, meekly.

"I beg your pardon?" Diana asked, stunned. "Not doing what in public?!"

"Yeah," Aimi said. "Nudist rule number three, absolutely no sexual behavior in public!"

Akko then let out a loud yelp that drew the attention of some of the other nude beachgoers. "Really!?" Akko asked, hysterically. "People try to get freaky here?!"

"Akko! Keep your voice down!" scolded Diana.

"Of course not! Or…at least not in public," answered Aimi.

"B-B-But that blonde woman?!" Diana asked, frantically.

"Man, she was crazy," replied Aimi. "She was into some really…strange stuff. B-but look, the less we say about that masochist, the better!"

"M-masochist?" Diana asked, both confused and worried.

"Look, the point is," interrupted Aimi, "being a nudist is all about feeling free and being comfortable in your own body. If there's anything my mom really hates, it's people thinking that being nude gives them free reign to do sexual stuff out in the open. She always says " this is a nudist resort, not a swinger's paradise !" And that's a promise she is always dead set on keeping!"

Akko and Diana gulped. "W-well, don't worry about us!" Akko said, proudly. "That's definitely one rule we would never break! No kinky stuff will be happening on my watch!"

"Shut up Akko," murmured Diana, nervously.

"Oh, don't worry," Aimi said, "I know you two wouldn't do it in public. You seem like the kind of couple that would keep it behind closed doors."

Akko and Diana's faces became as red as ripe tomatoes. "Eh?! W-wait a minute! Couple?!" Akko shouted, shocked.

"A-a-are you implying that…she and I are…?!" Diana said.

The two quickly went into a frenzy as they frantically waved their arms around and talked over each other, trying to convince Aimi they weren't a couple.

"It's not like that!" shouted Akko.

"We're just…c-c-classmates!" added Diana. "That's all!"

"Yeah, we just know each other from school!"

"Okay, okay!" replied Aimi. "I'm sorry! I didn't know you two weren't like that! You just seemed really close to me!"

"W-w-well, we're not!" snapped Diana. "I mean, we are, but not that close!"

"That's right!" added Akko. "We aren't doing funny stuff like that! But then again…she did touch my bu-OW!"

Akko yelped as Diana smacked her front shoulder. "I was putting sunscreen on!" growled Diana. "And don't forget about when you touched my chest!"

Aimi realized it was probably best for her to leave. "Anyway, I should probably head back to the front desk," she said, "I'll see you guys around! Hope you can come to the festival tomorrow!"

She held onto the rest of the towels she was carrying and she bolted away from Akko and Diana. They didn't even have a chance to say goodbye.

For what seemed like the thousandth time today, things were quiet between the two. Their faces were still red after hearing about nudist rule number three, the blonde woman, and Aimi thinking they were a couple.

Suddenly, Akko then forced out a laugh. Diana thought she had gone mad. "She really thought we were a couple!" giggled Akko. "That's just silly! I mean, us? A couple?! We don't even look like a couple! We're just two people training to become witches together! Right?"

Akko waited for Diana to respond.

But she didn't.

"Uh, right?" Akko asked again.

Diana thought about why she invited Akko in the first place. It might have started out as a "study vacation," but it was turning out to be something more for Diana.

Eventually, Diana finally responded. "That's right!" Diana said, trying to act cool. "You and I are just classmates…and nothing more!"

It was then that Diana noticed the pamphlet still in her hands. She opened it and began reading through it, noting the activities and events Akko mentioned earlier. "So…you really want to go to this festival?" she asked.

"Um…yes?" replied Akko. She was put off by how Diana was now suddenly changing topics.

"Well first, let's go to the secret spot," said Diana, "We'll practice our magic. And if you show some signs of improvement, we'll go to this festival and we'll do whatever you want."

Akko's face then lit up. "Really? You mean it?!" she asked, excitedly. "Alright, it's a deal!"

"Good," replied Diana, returning to her former self. "We still have a few hours before the sun sets. So let's take part in some more merriment on the beach."

"Sure!" agreed Akko.

Akko then had an idea. "I know!" she said, excitedly. "We can build a sandcastle! Or wait, maybe we can play with the beach ball!"

Akko then began digging through her pile of junk. "I think I have one here somewhere," she said.

As she searched through her belongings, Diana let out a sigh of relief. She hoped Akko (or anyone) would not make her that emotionally flustered again. Then again, going to this secret spot with untold magical energy, she was beginning to feel anxious.
