I've been in an anime mood lately. Problem is, there's only so many anime that I've actually watched growing up. And this is two of my favorites crossing over with each other. Be honest, but don't be mean. Thank you.

Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon or Inuyasha (Go Sesshomaru!) or any of their characters. I do, however, own any OCs created and the story written.

Chapter 5: First Meeting

Previously...

After a couple of weeks of getting settled and researching this new world, Serena walked up to her new school with a smile. The uniform was quite different from the one she wore at her old school. Well, this was a private school she was going to. It was actually a little similar to Raye's old uniform. The skirt was a lot shorter, and dark purple and black plaid. It had a short sleeve button up white shirt, tucked into the skirt with a black vest and a purple school emblem on the left breast pocket. They also provide longer white sleeved shirts and blazers. She also had knee-high which socks and black thick-heeled loafers.

She walked to the administration off and greeted the lady behind the counter, "Good morning. I'm here for registration."

With her hair now cut her waist and pulled back in two half braids, her eyes magically changed to silver, the regular Lunarian color, she wasn't recognized as the old princess.

"Of course, dear. What's your name?"

"Rena. Rena Agrotera."

"Lunarian?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"We don't get many of you."

"Most of them prefer to return home. My family is gone so it's just me. It's just easier to stay here."

"That's completely understandable, dear."

"Excuse me." Serena turned to see a girl who looked just like Raye. "Hi. I'm here for registration. Name's Kagome Higurashi."

"Give me just a moment and we'll get you both settled."

"Yes, ma'am."

Serena turned to the new girl, curious, "Are you a Reborn?"

"Um, no." She laughed, "I guess the right term for me would be a Supernatural."

"Human or other?"

"Human. I'm training as a Miko. But, I have stronger than normal spiritual powers."

"That's pretty cool, actually."

"Thanks. I'm Kagome."

"Rena. Please to meet you."

1-2-3-4-5

"So, Rena, are you a Reborn?" Kagome asked, looking at the blonde.

"I am. Lunarian."

"The Moon? That's awesome!" They turned around the voice behind them, "I'm a Reborn as well. From Mars." Serena stared at the red-head in shock. Molly.

"Mars?" The receptionist peeked over her glasses at the girl, "Half, right?"

"That's right. My dad was from Earth, so I got his hair." She looked at the two girls, "I'm Molly. Your first day, too?"

"Yep. I'm Kagome and this is Rena. Pleased to meet you."

"You know he doesn't care about any of those bimbos!" They looked over to see two more girls walk in, arguing, "Koga is completely devoted to you. Has been for years. If there's anyone who should be worried, it's me. Miroku is a complete flirt." A girl, a little taller than Kagome with brown eyes and her dark brown hair in a ponytail, folded her arms and scowled.

"He's a pervert. There's no denying that." The other girl, who had green eyes and her auburn hair in pigtails, smirked, "But he's so in love with you, nothing else matters."

"Oh, no." Serena glanced at the whisper of horror from Kagome.

"What's wrong?" Looking back and forth, realization dawned on her, "You know them, don't you?" She asked, keeping her voice low.

"A long time ago."

"And you remember but they don't."

"H-how did..."

"I think that you and I should have a long talk." They shared a look and nodded at each other, turning back to the other girls.

"Hi, I'm Sango." The dark-haired girl extended her hand out in greeting. "This brat here is Ayame."

"I'm not a brat." The hyper girl grumbled, "I'm just... eccentric."

"Pleased to meet both of you. I'm Rena. This is Kagome and Molly."

"Hi." They looked over as the receptionist walked back over and handed out their welcome back with a school map, the rules and schedules.

"At the Conservator, you still take the basics." She grinned, "We just do it a little differently. All college students start off as General Studies majors. You won't change those until your third year, and you'll keep the General Studies as a Minor. Your General Study sciences are as follows: Sociology, Archeology and Anthropology, Philosophy, Astrology and Astronomy, Alchemy and Spiritual Studies. All of these classes will be a mix of Youkai, Offworlder and Otherworlder in study."

"Offworlder and Otherworlder?" Rena looked around in confusion, "I thought it was Reborns and Supernaturals?"

"That is what the humans have been calling everyone, and it's just easier to go with it when in mixed company. However, the more technical term for the Reborns are Offworlder, because not all of them are Reborns. They may be their children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews. It's more accurate because of the broad term. As for Supernaturals; that's just a weird word. It doesn't even cover the range of Other that inhabit this planet. From Sorcery and Shape Shifting to Mikos and Monks. It's all about perspective and the best term is Other. Or Otherworlder."

"That actually makes a lot of sense." Sango smiled, "I'm not magical, of any kind, but my family's bloodline is that of Demon Hunters. In this new world, we don't hunt the Youkai, but work with the higher ups and police them. We have supernatural senses and heightened strengths that aid in the job."

"Correct. Now," The receptionist said, regaining their attention, "You have your basic math classes, but there's a few extras. Outside of Geometry and Algebra; there's Sacred Geometry, Combinatorics, Complex Analysis and Variables, Calculus, Logistics and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Cryptography, Number Theory and Topology."

"Geez." Molly sighed, sharing her frustrations with the others. "This is General?"

"Your history classes are similar to your science classes as they combine all of the cultures in the school. Archeology and Anthropology are science and history classes. You also have Ancient Civilizations, Myth and Reality, Art History, Youkai Hierarchy, Planetary Lineage and Parallel & Alternate Worlds, Metaphysics, Philosophy and Psychometry."

"I've got a headache."

"Your English and Language courses consist of: Literature, Poetry, Shakespeare, Ancient Languages, Youkai Dialects, Planetary Rites, Latin, Sanscript and any foreign language of your choice." She took a breath, "You also have your physical classes to choose from as well. There's Equestrian Studies, Weapons training, Yoga, Parkour, Dance, various forms of Martial Arts, Swimming, Gymnastics, Cheer, Free Running, Archery, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Tennis and Golf. Most of these have actual sports teams, multiple ones, that compete with each other. And that's because there's no other school like this one. Yet. However, certain teams do compete against all Youkai or all Otherworlder schools, so it makes it easier."

"Seriously, what kind of school is this?"

"Lastly, electives. Music and Music Theory, Drama, Multimedia, Journalism, Newspaper, Photojournalism, Yearbook, Art, Auto-Mechanics, Wood Shop, Metal Shop, Botany and Herbology, Food Science, Interior Design, Fashion, Spiritual & Mystical Academics, Runes and a plethora of other Offworlder, Youkai and Otherworld classes. There are many, many, many more after school activities. I am not getting into those. All sports and after school extra-curricular activities post their information on bulletin boards around the school. That's to be done on your own time."

"And I'm exhausted." Rena grabbed her school packet and started going through the papers, "This paper says I can sponsor. What does that mean?"

"You had originally stated that you were willing to open your house to another student who didn't have a place closer to the school or didn't want to sign up for the dorms. That is a list of students that you could choose from."

"I had forgotten that, actually." Or my mother didn't tell me she had set that up, "Um, Kagome?"

"Yes?"

"You're on this list."

"Oh, yeah. I had forgotten that. I grew up in a Shrine. I'm not used to living with a whole bunch of people and we figured it was the best way for me to get away from the Shrine and still be comfortable. Right now, I'm set-up in a hotel."

"Well, if you're not too opposed to it, I wouldn't mind sharing my apartment with you. It's just me and my dog."

"I think that's a fantastic idea."

"What is that smell?" They looked over as Ayame was sniffing the air in disgust, "It smells like... hell?"

"Fire and brimstone." Everyone turned to Rena in question, "As a Wolf Demon, you have the ability to smell auras, individual scents and specific blood in people. What you are smelling, is Molly. Her mom was from Mars. All Marshians have a fire and brimstone smell to them. It will take you awhile to get adjusted to it."

"You're a Reborn, right?" The receptionist asked, curious, "Most Reborns don't have that knowledge. It's not something that was taught back then because not everybody was around Youkais. How do you know about it?"

"Um..." Crap. "I was there, okay. I was around a lot of the Youkais when they came to the moon as emissaries. I learned a lot about Earth and the Youkais back then."

"So..." Ayame pondered, "I should expect even more unusual scents."

Rena sighed, turning to the girls, not realizing that another woman had come up behind her, "Let's start with me. I'm Lunarian. What do you smell?"

"It's muddled. I've never smelt it before."

"It's not muddled. You're just confused. That's not a dis. It's just how I had it explained to me. Lunarians smell pure. True pure. Moon magic, or Selenium, pretty much runs through our blood. It's not something found here on Earth. There is no comparison for the way Lunarians smell on Earth. I could compare the other planets to scents here, but I can't for a Lunarian. The only way to describe it is pure. The longer you smell it, the more you'll understand what I'm talking about."

She stretched her shoulders for a moment, "Now, Mercury. The best comparison that I can come up with is not a scent, though your nose will sting, but a sensation. Think cold. Frost. You won't actually get cold; you just get the feeling. Almost like a shiver running down your spine. They always run colder than the average human, no matter the planet. It's a magnification of the Hermanite in their blood. Mars, again, is fire and brimstone. Like ash. As if something is burning. Everyone has the ability to control and bend flames from within and around them. They also run a temperature of a least 101 degrees. Unfortunate side effect of Aresian. Jupiter. Lots of lightning. They generate a bunch of static shock, so be careful around them. They don't do it on purpose. Diosianite has a inorganic smell. Almost like you just burnt your hair with a curling iron. You'll get the sensation of being in the middle of a thunderstorm."

Completely missing the incredulous look of the room, she started shuffling her papers, getting them organized, "Venus is pure energy. The smell is almost similar to Lunarian, but it's not as pure. You get the feeling of being out in the sun with them. They're larger than life. And very empathic. Be careful around them as well. They can tap into your emotions. Again, it's not on purpose. It takes years to control the Cytherium that they're not only born with, but that the planet is covered in."

She looked up, narrowing her eyes, "Now, I'm not sure how many students from the Outer Planets are here, but there's a few things that you need to be very careful about. Every one of them are more dangerous than the Inner Planets. They're not evil. The power on those planets are extremely dangerous and create volatile living conditions. They are taught at a very young age not only how to deal with those conditions, but how to control their emotions. A lot of people would consider them emotionless robots. That's not the case. So..."

She eyed each girl for a moment, "Caeleanite. It runs through Uranus. The planet and the people. It is the planet of wind and flight. They have the ability to create full on earthquakes and concussive energy blast using that power. You'll smell the sharp zing of ozone. It's a natural smell here on Earth and the best description that I've got for it. Don't make them mad. Please. They are the best physical fighters in the galaxy. I say that, because they can do everything. Jupiter is the best at martial arts, for the Inner Planets. But Uranus is known for its strength and weapon work and they know how to use them."

"Neptune. It's a planet made up of water and they live in coral palaces surrounded by large bubble domes. Poseidonite, power of the Oceanic Gods. One person from that planet could create a tsunami so big and so strong, it could destroy a country. But they don't. That's where the emotional control comes from. They are protectors. You can detect them by the saltwater scent or vibrations that come off of them."

"Pluto is a little different. They are timekeepers. Protectors of the realms and they take their jobs very seriously. Cthonian energy draws its power from the underworld of the dead. They are considered the grim reapers of the Continuum. Again, they take their jobs very seriously. They punish people to the extreme for creating time variants and echoes, resulting in changes to the timeline. When you first meet one of them, unless they have their mental blockers up, you can see the time-stream in their eyes. Don't worry. It's only temporary.

"Saturn is different altogether. Kronianite gives them the power to destroy planets. They never die. They're like phoenixes. They die and get reborn right away. They are the last resort in war. And they smell like death. The scent eventually goes away. As does the deafness you receive when you're around them. Their eyes are bottomless pools of space. A glamour eventually falls over them and then you don't notice it anymore. Also, they're crafts people. Very hands on and very smart."

Silence befell the room. "Who are you?"

Rena turned around and froze. Setsuna. Well, that just caps it. Good job Serena. "Um, hi. I'm sorry. I rambled."

"Quite well, actually." Who is this girl? She looks just like the Princess. But that's impossible, right? She wasn't Reborn. The Queen has been looking all over for her, or she thought, "What's your name?"

"Rena. Rena Agrotera."

Rena. Hmm. Agrotera was an epitaph for Artemis. This just got interesting. Definitely need to keep an eye her and report this to their Majesties, "Welcome to the Conservatore, Ms. Agrotera."

Damn it.

1-2-3-4-5

As the girls got settled into their homeroom, waiting for the rest of the class to get there, Serena felt Kagome clench up next to her, "What's wrong?" She asked, concerned.

"Inuyasha." The whisper was so light, the blonde almost missed it. She looked down to see a group of jocks walking in and settling on the far right of the room.

"Which one is he?"

"Hanyou Dog Demon. Silver Hair."

"With the cute ears that just makes you want rub them? I mean, seriously. They're like, right there." Serena squinted, thinking he looked familiar.

"That's him." They watched as he talked with his friends. His group consisted of a mix of Youkai, Other and Offworlder. On his right was what looked like a Wolf Demon and the left a normal human.

"Do you know the two on either side of him?"

"The Wolf Demon is Koga and the human is Miroku. He's actually a Monk and would be considered an Otherworlder."

"Okay, so, after school. You're coming to my apartment. You and I need to have a very long talk. A life altering kind of talk."

Kagome looked at her new friend and nodded, "Almost like 'we're the ones who created this world' type of talk."

"Like a 'careful what you wish for' kind of talk."

"Oh, most definitely."

1-2-3-4-5

"So, you're the Lunarian Princess that the planets are looking for, but your parents have agreed to keep your location quiet so that you can have a normal life. You've maintained all of your past powers from your previous lives, making you one of the most powerful people on Earth. You've basically lived over a thousand years, are technically a superhero, been married and had a kid. You reigned over your own Kingdom in Crystal Tokyo as Queen. Your wish, after everything was destroyed, created this timeline, merging our two worlds and bringing back thousands of lives."

"And you're the descendant of a powerful Miko, whose family consisted of my past husband, which makes you part of Earth's Royal bloodline. You had a time traveling well in your family's shrine that allowed you to go back 500 years to search for shards of jewels that used to be in your body and contained powerful spiritual energy. You traveled with Inuyasha, Sango, her Fire Cat demon, Miroku and your adopted fox kit. You finally destroyed your big bad and your wish ruptured my wish creating this world and the Jewel is back in your body."

The two girls sat on the couch in silence, staring at each other. After a moment, they started laughed hysterically, not able to control themselves. Already fast friends, they knew that their new journey in life was just beginning. And they couldn't wait to see where it led them.
