A/N: I do not own PJO.

Apparently, the gods had no idea who would be the fifteenth Olympian. They didn't even know who the most powerful minor god was. Typical.

("That's actually very careless of them, you know-"

"Percy, stop insulting all-powerful beings who can kill us please-"

"She's right, of course-"

"Not you too, Jase-"

Hermes and Apollo were very amused.)

Of course, after great deliberation, and at least one Zeusy-fit, it was agreed that Triton would be a good addition – he was trained in politicking and whatever course you needed to take to be a functioning god, and he was a son of Poseidon. At first, Enyo had been considered, but Demeter (very rightly) pointed out that way too many of Zeus' kids were part of the Council.

Athena was displeased. If she and Poseidon had a childish rivalry, then Triton downright loathed her. I mean, obviously you would loath the person who killed your only daughter (even if it was an accident), it was kind of a given. Unfortunately for her, Athena still saw Triton as a somewhat father-figure (the guy helped raise her, hello-) so this was a mess waiting to happen.

I was extremely pleased. My bro was on the big guys' Council.

(So was my dad, but hey, he was one of the big guys.)

I couldn't wait to see where this led.

I never saw it coming. One moment, I was Piper, Leo, Bianca and Nico's mom (it wasn't a surprise to me anymore; I did, of course, get pangs of happiness when I thought of myself that way, but there was no surprise, like hey, they consider me a mother!), the next, almost every camper except my partner-in-crime, my brother-figure, Silena and Katie was calling me mom.

I was afraid for my health, and rightly so. What if their godly moms got angry? I would be fish fry- no, wait, mermaid fry.

It was with this fear that I went to the Big House. Dio laughed in my face, the little piece of- ahem. Anyway, Chiron just sighed, as if I had caused something that had never happened before. Again.

(The arrow going in his tail was an accident. It wasn't my fault that it bounced back and tangled itself there when Chiron was standing behind me- okay, maybe it was. A little bit. Just a bit.)

"If you are alive and well right now, one can only expect so for the future."

"But Chiron," I whined, "That doesn't encourage me at all! It only scares me more! What if they get angry at me in the future?"

Chiron pinched his nose.

"Truly, child, this is a rare case. I cannot predict what the gods will do."

"Rare case" was pushing it. I doubt he even thought this would have been possible. But he was right. What if they were happy with this? Yes. Happy. That was a good thought.

I'm gonna keep it.

The traitor somehow ended up being Alabaster Torrington, of all people. I mean, yeah, sure, he had been on Kronos' side the last merry-go-round, but, well. He never seemed like the person who would actually lead the fight.

"Any idea how many possibilities this opens?"

"The chances of us getting married seem slimmer now."

"That's not what I meant, Grace-"

"Yeah, but it's kinda the same thing. Can't get married if we're dead, right?"

I threw a dart at him. Jason dodged expertly.

A/N: yes. triton. mwuahahaha. how many of you saw that coming huh- and also. athena's daddy issues (sorta). alabaster is a little far-fetched, i know, most people go with annabeth (no uh, not happening, she is the baby of this story) or ethan (i actually thought of this at first, but then i just... didn't. i want him to have something better this time).

the part where everyone considers percy a mom just stems from a random headcannon i had in my head, like, percy takes care of all these dangerous kids and has ridiculous patience with them (notice how i added with them- anyone else and they're doused in water), so they, most of whom haven't had proper parental figures, latch onto her and follow the first four's example. i also have another part where everyone just starts calling jason dad, it is awkward for our duo and luke has a grand old time shipping them.

yes i ended on percy-jason fluff because i wanted to. they're cute.
